I was drawn to the phrases "rafting" and "lava cave," so I decided to participate. When I arrived at the meeting place, there were about 30 people, all foreigners. There wasn't much explanation, and we were quickly divided into two groups and taken to the nearby boat launch, where we set off immediately.

As we headed out, the captain provided some safety instructions, but for Japanese participants, they handed out a manual saying, "Please read this." Once we left the bay, we sped up significantly, and the waves were quite high, causing the boat to bounce a lot, which was quite thrilling.

On our way to Kealakekua Bay, we saw about four or five dolphins, but swimming with them was prohibited, which was a bit disappointing. We had about an hour and a half for snorkeling, but the water temperature was low, and I didn't swim for even an hour. It seemed like the foreigners had a different tolerance for the cold, as they went back in to swim again after eating sandwiches.

On the way back, we encountered quite a few dolphins, and seeing them swim alongside the boat was a highlight. The speed increased even more, making it quite a challenge to hold on, but it was also a fun experience.

We stopped the boat near the cliffs, and they explained various things about the rock formations, but we didn't go through any caves, which was very disappointing. Overall, I think it was an interesting activity, thanks to the staff's attentiveness.

シュノーケリングは、1時間半くらいの時間がありましたが、水温が低く、1時間も泳ぎませんでした。外国人は皮膚感覚が違うのか、サンドイッチなどを食べた後でもまた泳ぎに行っていました。
帰りにもかなりのイルカに遭遇し、ボートに並走する姿は中々見所がありました。スピードも更にアップし、踏ん張るのが大変でしたが、これも楽しい経験でした。

岸壁近くでボートを止め、岩の形がどうのとか色々と説明してくれましたが、洞窟をくぐるようなことはなく、これは非常に残念でした。
その他は、スタッフの気遣いもあり、面白いアクティビティだと思います。

洞窟アドベンチャーとあったので、洞窟の中に入れるのかと思っていましたが
溶岩を遠目から眺め、何か説明をしていました。
英語のためわかりませんが、海とボートからのハワイ島が見れたので
シュノーケリングだけではなく楽しめると思います。

I wasn't sure what Ocean Rafting would be like, so I thought we would be rowing with paddles ourselves, but it turned out to be a thrilling tour on an engine-powered rubber boat. Right from the start, we made sharp turns as we headed out to sea, and there were moments when it felt like we were about to hit the cliffs, which was quite exhilarating. The captain was very enthusiastic, chasing whales and weaving under skydivers. We went out to sea multiple times, using sonar to search for whales. Thanks to that, we were able to do whale watching several times, but by the end, my backside was quite sore, and I was feeling like, "Okay, that's enough!" After snorkeling, lunch included fruits and snacks, and the sandwiches were quite good, making it a fun experience. There were two of them, the captain and a female assistant, and they were very efficient in preparing the snorkeling gear and lunch, which made everything feel pleasant.

オーシャンラフティングってどういう風なのかわからなかったので、自分たちでオールでこいだりするのかと思ていたのですが、、、エンジン付きゴムボートでビュンビュん飛ばすツアーでした。最初から沖へ出るときに急旋回したり岸壁にあたりそうになって急停止したりとスリル満点。。。クジラを追いかけたりスカイダイバーの下をすり抜けたりとキャプテン（船頭さん）はサービス精神旺盛でした。クジラを追いかけ何回も沖に出て、ソナーを駆使し探しました。おかげで何回もホエールウぉッチングできましたが、、、最後はかなりお尻が痛くてもういいよぉ〜って感じもなきにしもあらず。。。。シュノーケリングの後の昼食はフルーツありスナック菓子あり、、、サンドイッチもなかなかで楽しかったです。キャプテンと助手の女性の二人でしたがシュノーケリングの際の用具の準備やお昼の準備など手際もよく気持ちよかったです。

In February 2012, I was deeply impressed, and on February 14, 2013, I came back again. It was me, my 89-year-old grandmother, my 67-year-old self, my 65-year-old wife, and my 60-year-old brother-in-law who is retiring this February. We had a wonderful time.

This year, just like last year, we stayed for two nights in Hilo, three nights in a condominium in Waikoloa, and three nights in Waikiki. Unusually, I fell ill this time and just recovered yesterday (February 13).

We were able to see whales again, and I was particularly moved by the dolphins' welcoming behavior. When the boat arrives near the snorkeling spot, a large number of dolphins come to greet us and support the boat until it stops. They even see us off partway on the way back (it’s unbelievable).

We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and lunches, saw beautiful corals and fish, and had a great time with friendly foreigners. This time, we were the only Japanese family, but the foreign tourists seemed to be having a great time, which made it very comfortable for us.

The water was cold, so my wife said, "Next time, I want to come in spring or summer." I promised to include some photos this time, but they are all taken from the video (Sony). Speaking of videos, the staff here have professional video skills. They used wonderful Sony equipment. They even film underwater, which makes for great memories.

Last time, I bought a video (DVD) and enjoyed it, so this time I had one sent for my brother-in-law. This tour is highly recommended as it can be enjoyed by everyone from babies to the elderly.

美味しい、朝食と昼食を食べ、綺麗なサンゴと魚を見てフレンドリーな外国人？と楽しんで最高！！
今回、日本人は我々ファミリーだけでしたが、外国人？観光客は皆、思い切り楽しみに来ている様子で一緒にいてとても気が楽です。
水は冷たかったので妻は『今度は、春か夏に来たい』と言っています。
前回お約束の、写真何枚か入れますが、全部ビデオ(ＳＯＮＹ)から写真にしたものです。
ビデオと言えばここのスタッフのビデオ技術はプロだ。
機材はＳＯＮＹの素晴らしいのを使っていた。
海中でも撮影してくれるので記念になります。
前回もビデオ(ＤＶＤ)を買って楽しんだので今回も、義弟のために1本送ってもらった。
このツアーは赤ちゃん～年配者まで充分に楽しめてお勧めです。

I participated in this tour with a friend during my first trip to Hawaii Island. Since it was late February, it could be a bit chilly, so it might be good to have something to wrap around you depending on the season. なので乗り物にとても酔いやすい方は酔ってしまうかもしれません。体力もつかいました。しかし海の空気や風が心地よく、アトラクション好きの私にとってはとても気分がよかったです。シュノーケルはほぼ初めてでしたが浮き用具を貸してくれるので、泳ぐことが出来ました。
海の透明度は高く、サンゴや色とりどりの魚達と泳ぐことが出来、とても感動しました。
途中でボートに上がり、スナックやサンドウィッチ、フルーツ、ジュースなどの軽食をもらうことができます。その時にバスタオルがあって良かったです。
2月下旬だった為か少し寒い場合があるので、時期によってはおる物があっても良いかもしれません。ツアーの途中では野生のイルカの群れに遭遇したり、クジラを見たり、大興奮、大満足でした。ハワイ島の自然を体全体で感じることが出来るアクティブなツアーです！

In late February, I went on a trip with a friend, and we decided to join this tour to see the beautiful ocean of Hawaii Island up close. Since we were staying in Kona, we called a taxi to our hotel and headed to the designated meeting point, which was about a 10-minute drive away.

There were about 14 people in total on the tour, including us, and everyone except us was a foreigner. The guide spoke entirely in English, but at the beginning, they provided a Japanese guide, so we could follow along during the tour. The staff kindly explained what was happening, which helped us understand everything clearly, and we had a great time.

This tour involved ocean rafting on a rubber boat, which meant the boat rocked quite a bit. It was so intense that if you weren't holding on to something, you might feel like you could fall off. このツアーはゴムボートで激しく海を走り抜けるオーシャンラフティングなので船がとても揺れます。どこかにつかまっていないと船から落ちてしまいそうになるぐらい激しい揺れなので、船酔いなどされる方にはあまり向いていないかもしれませんが、とてもスリリングで私自身は大満足でした。途中でイルカの群れや、クジラに何度も遭遇することができ、自然の壮大さに圧倒されました。
1つ目のポイントでは1時間ほどシュノーケリングをし、休憩をはさんで2つ目のポイントで再び1時間ほどシュノーケリングを楽しみました。休憩中に出されたターキーのサンドイッチやスナック菓子、カットフルーツはとても美味しくて大満足でした。
言うまでもなく、海の透明度は抜群で、20種類以上の魚を見ることが出来ました。
全体的に移動時間が長く、船上ではゆっくり出来ないので少し疲れますが、ハワイ島の大自然を体験できる素晴らしいツアーだと思います。

This time, we participated for our 2nd honeymoon.

We came to Hawaii for our wedding six months ago and liked it so much that we came back.

The tour really became a wonderful memory.

Additionally, we saw more whales than expected, and I was especially moved when I saw a whale dive up close. To keep the participants engaged, the driver occasionally drove a bit roughly for fun, which made for a satisfying experience. I think it's something you should definitely try at least once when you visit the Big Island.

I participated in this tour on my first visit to the Big Island! There were easy-to-understand explanations in English.

If you're Japanese and not very confident in English, it can feel a bit daunting, so I recommend actively trying to communicate even if you don't understand everything!

It was a luxury to see both dolphins and whales, and to swim with the sea turtles while snorkeling!

I’m not good with fast vehicles, so I hesitated, but I participated at my daughter's request. It was less bumpy than I expected, and I enjoyed the feeling of running over the lush blue sea. Along the way, I looked around and saw the horizon was round. The captain found and retrieved a floating bottle, which impressed me. We were lucky to encounter whales and dolphins both going and coming back! When they were spotted, they slowly approached us, and the boat stopped for a while.

I wasn't confident about snorkeling, so I borrowed a life jacket and a kickboard, which allowed me to swim with peace of mind. The seawater was very cold. I was glad I wore a rash guard, but those who only wore swimsuits quickly returned to the boat. I was satisfied with the clear sea and many fish.

Back on the boat, there were snacks, fruits, and drinks. However, as soon as I got back on the boat, I suddenly needed to use the restroom, and I struggled to hold it in on the way back. It was tough.

For those who need to use the restroom frequently, I think it's better to choose a large boat with a restroom. We snorkeled in the same area. I misunderstood and thought we would go inside a cave, but we only went near it and received an explanation. I couldn't understand what was being said due to my lack of English skills. トイレが近い人は、大型ボートでトイレつきの船を選んだほうがいいと思う。同じ場所でシュノーケリングをします。洞窟の中に入るのか・・と勘違い。洞窟の近くに行き、説明を受けるだけでした。これは英語能力がないので、何を言っているのか分からなかった。最初に日本語の紙をくれるのでシュノーケリングには困りませんが。
　　日焼け止めは何回も付けたけど、耳や頬の出っ張り、鼻が焼けてしまいました。つけすぎ！と思うぐらいにしたほうがよい。　最初の不安がすぐ消える、楽しいオプショナルでした。

This month (January 2013), I participated with my husband.

On the day of the event, I was worried that it might be canceled due to high waves, but we drove to the meeting point with a rental car.

Regarding the waves, there was absolutely no problem. After signing in at the reception, I changed into my swimsuit. I slathered on sunscreen because the Hawaiian sun can be intense.

Once on the Zodiac, they kept asking if I had applied enough sunscreen. The guide had sunscreen available, so it was okay to borrow some there. In fact, I did borrow it. Thank you!

As we left the harbor, we were waved off by a sea turtle floating in the harbor.

Bouncing along, we quickly encountered a pod of dolphins. They are said to be the second largest species of dolphin, and I thought they were small whales.

The guide shared various information about the fish and islands, but due to the wind noise and my limited English, I understood very little. However, he was a nice guy.

Now, getting back on track, we headed south from the harbor towards the Sheraton, and the snorkeling took place in Kealakekua Bay, which is not affected by swells.

It was almost my first time snorkeling, but they provided something like a float, and since it was close to the shore and the boat, and the guide was watching over us, I felt safe and wasn't scared at all. I was very satisfied to see colorful tropical fish hiding among the corals up close. The sea urchins were super big.

Since I get cold easily, I used a towel and a hoodie to shield myself from the wind during the ride. Also, for those concerned about sunburn, you might need to hold your hat down with your hand to prevent it from blowing away, so having a hat might be a good idea.

港から出るときは、たまたま港内に浮かんでいたウミガメさんに見送ってもらいました。

ボンボン揺られながら、沖にでると、早速イルカの群れに遭遇。2番目に大きい種類のイルカだそうで、小さいくじらかと思いました。

ガイドさんが、魚や島のことについて色々教えてくれるのですが、風音と英語が苦手なせいで、殆どわからんちんでした。でも、ナイスガイでしたわー。

さて、話が逸れましたが、港からシェラトン方面にずっと南下して、シュノーケリングは、うねりの影響を受けない、ケアラケクア湾で行いました。

シュノーケリングは、殆ど初めてでしたが、浮き輪みたいなものも貸してくれたし、岸や船からも近いし、ガイドさんも見ててくれるので安心感があり、全然怖くなかったです。
色とりどりの熱帯魚がサンゴにかくれんぼしている姿が間近に見れて、大満足でした。ウニ超でかいです。

お腹が空いたら、サンドイッチとスナックとジュースが貰えます。ペロリでした。

帰りは、いるかに加えて、くじらにも遭遇。数十メートルの距離でまで、近寄ってきて、みんな、大興奮でした。

ボートはすごいスピードなので行きはロープや主人にしがみついて落ちないように緊張していましたが、帰りには踏ん張るコツというのを発見しかなりリラックスして乗船できました。


最後は、お世話になったガイドさんにチップを渡しましたが、渡してない人も多数いたので、どちらでも良いですね。気持ち気持ち。

私は寒がりなので、移動中は、タオルとパーカーで風を防御していました。
あと、日焼けが気になる方は、風で飛ばされないように、手で押さえなければならないですが、帽子もあったほうがよいかもですね。

We've done this trip a few time, and it's always great. The food is good. Staff is Great. Boat is still tip top. Had some high surf that limited where we could go, and we had to deal with some of the new regulations by Capt Cook Monument, but the staff was on top of it, and we didn't miss a beat. Well worth it.

I participated in the monitor campaign with Aran1 and boarded the Zodiac. The tour was a 5-hour trip with a lunch included, departing at 10 AM. We took a taxi from our hotel in Kona to the meeting point at Honokohau Harbor and arrived without any trouble. Besides the two of us, there were no other Japanese participants, and the group was quite international, with members from various countries visiting for tourism. Therefore, all the procedures and interactions during the boarding were in English. However, I don't think those who are not confident in English will have too much trouble, as difficult English is hardly necessary. Additionally, they provided supplementary materials in Japanese during the initial procedures, so I think you'll have a general understanding of what is being said.

At first glance, the boat surprised me as it was just a rubber boat. It was my first experience with rafting, and I was excited to see what ocean rafting would be like, but it was even more intense than I expected, racing across the sea with great excitement. ボートは最初見て驚きましたが本当にただの（？）ゴムボートです。ラフティング経験は初めてで、しかもオーシャンラフティングということでどんなもんかワクワクしていましたが、予想以上に激しく海の上を走り迫力満点でした。波にぶつかったり、波から落ちたりさながらジェットコースターのようなスリルを味わえます。しかしこのゴムボートは米軍仕様とかで安定感は抜群でした。
ラフティング部分に注目しがちですが、それ以外の基本もばっちりおさえています。まずはクック船長のモニュメントがあるケアラケクア湾でのスノーケリング！水面から少し潜るとそこは一面のさんご礁とトロピカルな魚達がとてもきれいでした。海の透明度も抜群で25mはあるかと思います。1月ということもあり水温は肌寒く感じられましたが、外国人の方々はあまり寒そうではないようでした。しかし、海から船に上がると太陽の日差しがとても強いのでとても暖かいです。というより強すぎるので日焼け止めは十分に塗っておかないと火傷をします。スノーケリング後のランチはサンドイッチでしたが、これがまたおいしかったです。
帰りはハワイ島西海岸の各スポットについて説明してくれました。また、ラフティング中にクジラやイルカの群れを見ることもできお得でした。
ただスノーケルに行くだけでなく、船での移動そのものがアトラクションになっている本ツアーは1粒で2度おいしいというかんじです。とても楽しむことができました。ただし、船にはトイレがないので乗船前に済ましておかないと大変だと思います。またゆっくりスノーケルだけを楽しみたいということであれば大きな船に乗っていくツ

I went to the port without knowing much about the Zodiac boat, and it turned out to be just a black rubber boat with an engine. I was surprised that 18 people would fit on it! Since Hawaii Island is a small island floating in the Pacific, the waves were very high, and I felt a bit anxious about whether we could really go out on this. The cheerful captain revved the engine, lifted the Zodiac onto the sea, and made it glide over the waves. The speed was just like a jet ski. We could tilt the boat and turn just like surfing. Being lightweight, it could do anything! It felt like we were on a pirate ship. Sitting on the edge of the boat, we genuinely flew over the waves like flying fish!

We snorkeled near Captain Cook's monument. The water was really cold!! But it was so clear, and we enjoyed seeing beautiful tropical fish. While diving, I heard popping sounds, as if dolphins were communicating or something. After enjoying snorkeling for a while, we got cold and were the first to get out of the water, but the foreigners swam for over 10 minutes longer without any problem. The lunch on the boat after snorkeling was delicious. Then, the captain took us to a spot where we could see dolphins. I was moved, but after seeing the dolphins swim quickly, I felt exhausted just watching from the Zodiac. I was really glad to be back on land.

You can get the instructions in Japanese, but the language is in English. I didn’t feel like reading the instructions on the boat, so it’s definitely more fun if you understand English. You can really enjoy the cheerful activities with the foreigners.

十分シュノーケリングを楽しんだ私たちは、体が冷えてしまって一番に海からあがりましたが、外人さんは平気で私たちより１0分以上長く泳いでいました。シュノーケルの後の船の上のランチは美味しかったな～。それから、船長さんが、「いるか」がいる場所に連れて行ってくれました。感動したのですが、ゾディアック号でへとへとの私は、いるかの高速な泳ぎを見ているだけでどっと疲れが出ました。陸にもどってこられて、本当に良かったです。
説明書は日本語版をもらえますが、言葉は英語。船の上で説明書を読む気がしないので、英語がわかる方が断然楽しいです。まさに陽気な外人さんのアクティビティーが楽しめましす。

1.この船は大きくて、揺れない。
2.きれいなトイレが付いている。
3.朝食、昼食、飲み物、果物付き。
この条件ならお婆ちゃんは、船の上で見ていればイﾂカー。
と、初めて参加してみて感激、感動。
私の英語は、中学の義務教育のみで心配、たまたま若い姉妹の日本の方がいらしたので「わからない時は、助けてネ」とアプローチお願いしましたが何とか自力でクリアー出来ました。
途中、鯨も見えて、現場に付く直前にイルカの群れの歓迎です。
スタッフ、クルーのテンションの高さとカッコよさ、そして安全配慮と、お客様を一人一人どうやって楽しましてやろうという気持ちがガンガン伝わって来ます。
海は透明、珊瑚礁と、熱帯魚の群れ。
ほとんどのお客様はアメリカ人～　だと思いますが皆さん老いも若きも元気、元気。とってもフレドリーで楽しい。
言葉、いらない・・・・
本音は「もっと英語がわかればナー」
綺麗な船で清潔なので,・・・・当初、心配していたお婆ちゃん「今度、いつ行くノー」だって。
海に入らなくても、船上から綺麗に澄んだ珊瑚礁で遊んでいる皆を見ていて楽しんでいます。
スタッフがビデオを撮ってくれていたので早速購入して時々見ています。
これを一緒に見ていた弟も、今年定年退職なので記念に皆で行きたいということで、
2013年2月14日また、予約してしまいました。楽しみでーす。
冬でも夏でも、・・・海の中は良いのですが船に上がった時寒いときがあるようなので大きいタオルや、ヨットパーカーなど忘れないように気をつけよう。
一番大切なことは、「皆で思い切り楽しむ」ことかな。
このツアーにも、持って行くものの中にサングラス等と一緒に
【冒険心】と書いてあります。
この気持ち、だーい好きです。

This was my first time rafting in the ocean, and I was looking forward to experiencing the differences from river rafting. Since it has an engine, it felt completely different, almost like flying over the sea. I think it's suitable for those who want to feel the thrill of speed. However, it might not be ideal for those who are prone to motion sickness.

While on the ride, and especially at the snorkeling points, the staff were very considerate, taking us to various spots where we could see not only small tropical fish but also larger fish like bonito and even dolphins. After snorkeling, they guided us back to the port while showing us various sightseeing spots from the sea, providing detailed explanations about the history and background, making it a tour that was worth more than the price.

One issue was that since it was November, it was a bit cold, and I wasn't used to being on the water, so I had a hard time holding it until we arrived at the port. The tour was planned for four hours, and although I used the restroom before boarding, it actually took about six hours, so I think it's better to limit drinks on board.

Aside from the restroom issue, it was a fantastic and enjoyable tour. Regarding language, I believe that anyone with a basic understanding of English will be able to understand, as the staff used simple language.

シュノーケリング終了後は港へ帰る前に色々な観光スポットを海から案内してくださって、歴史やら生い立ちやらの詳しい説明をしてくれながら帰ってくれたので金額以上の体験ツアーになりました。
ただ一つの問題は、１１月だったのでちょっと寒かったのもありますが、水の上に慣れていないので途中からトイレに行きたくて港に到着するまで我慢するのが大変でした。
４時間の予定でしたので、乗船する前にトイレには行ったのですが、実際かかった時間は６時間程かかりましたので船上での飲み物は控えめにされたほうがいいかと思います。
トイレさえ除けば全く問題なく、そしてとても楽しめるツアーでした。
言葉の問題ですが、ある程度のヒアリングができる人なら簡単な英語ですので理解できると思います。

We saw sea turtles twice in different locations, and the dolphins came close enough to swim alongside us. We even got to see baby dolphins jumping, which was a rare experience! The speed made the wind feel really nice, and I didn't realize how strong the UV rays were... My husband ended up getting sunburned to the point of peeling!

It was truly wonderful to encounter wild sea turtles and dolphins up close while cruising on a rubber boat. Additionally, the thrilling cruise led by the captain kept us smiling the whole time. However, since all the explanations during the cruise were in English, I highly recommend this tour if you understand English.

ゴムボートでのクルージングで、さわれる位置まで野生の海ガメやイルカに出会えて本当に素敵でした。

First, I was told that I needed to reconfirm my reservation, but when I called, they said that if I had questions about directions or anything else, I should call, but if not, there was no need to call. I felt a bit let down by that. Since it was a morning tour, I parked my rental car at the free parking lot past the nearby ABC Mart. There are restrooms at the pier, and while it's possible to change there, as others have mentioned, it's better to come dressed for the occasion. On the day of the tour, staff members came under a green tent, and after handing over the voucher, I received a colored card that corresponds to the boat we would be taking. Groups were divided by the color of the card, and we signed a liability waiver, but there was no Japanese version of the form available when we went. After signing, we boarded the rubber boat by group and set off. Until we reached the bay, we made sudden turns and sped along at an incredible pace. We stopped at a spot where there were lots of dolphins, and they took their time there, providing excellent service. It was really fun, but my 70-year-old mother kept saying how scared she was. On the way back, she seemed to be enjoying it more, perhaps because she got used to it. The snorkeling was just okay. The clarity wasn't as good as I expected, and there weren't a huge variety of tropical fish. Still, I had a great time. The staff were very cheerful and fun, and I felt a bit guilty for needing their support for my elderly mother.

まず、予約の再確認が必要とのことでしたが、電話してみたら、行き方や他に何かわからないことがある場合は電話して聞く必要があるけど、特にそういうことでなければ電話は別にいらないわよ~と電話口で言われました。な~んだ、と拍子抜けはしました。当日は朝のツアーだったので、近くのABCマートの先にある無料駐車場にレンタカーを止めて参加。桟橋にトイレもあり、着替えもできないこともないのですが、皆さんの書き込み通り着替えていった方がベターです。当日緑のテントの下にスタッフの人が来て、バウチャーを渡すと乗るボートごとに色分けしたカードをもらえます。その色のカードを持っているグループごとに分かれ、いろいろ書いた責任注意事項の用紙にサインをしますが、私たちの時には書き込みにある日本語の用紙はありませんでした。サインした後、グループごとにゴムボートに乗り込み出発。湾に到着するまで、急に曲がったり、ものすごいスピードで突っ走ります。途中イルカがいっぱいいるところで止まってくれて、時間を取ってくれたり、サービス満点。本当に楽しいけど、７０歳の母はただ怖い怖いと言い続けてました。帰りは慣れてきたのか、楽しそうでしたが。シュノーケルはまぁまぁです。思ったほどの透明度はなく、魚も物凄い種類の熱帯魚がいるということではないので。それでも十分楽しめました。スタッフの方も凄い明るく楽しい人達で、７０歳の老人のサポートをしてくれて、申し訳なかったなぁとも思います。

My husband and I tried snorkeling first time and we are not even good swimmer. I know only basics of swimming and I can not even survive in a 6 ft swimming pool and still I had fun snorkeling with Fair wind. Crew helped us a lot and snorkeling area was also good. They have different kind of accessories like view box and board for childrens. we would defenately go for second time.

We went to the Big Island for our honeymoon and participated in ocean rafting on August 31. The staff only spoke English, but they kindly provided Japanese explanations for us. Upon arriving, we were supposed to call "Captain Zodiac," the company organizing the tour, for confirmation, but our English skills made it difficult to convey what we wanted to say, which was a bit challenging. However, the staff on the other end of the phone continued to explain how to get to the meeting point with great effort, and we could feel their determination to help us, which was very kind.

On the day of the tour, a male boat driver and a female captain (who acted a bit like a pirate) boarded the boat together. I was surprised by how to get on the boat. Although we had time to swim again after lunch, I decided not to because I couldn't stop shivering. It was a shame since the coral reef was beautiful. It seemed that the spot we visited had cold water flowing from the mountains.

After enjoying snorkeling, we returned while looking at the famous sights along the coast from the sea. On the way back, we also sped along and made sharp turns with the boat, which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour!

当日は、ボートの運転手（男性）と、案内をしてくれるキャプテン（海賊のイメージでちょっと悪っぽい感じに振舞う女性）が一緒にボートに乗り込みました。驚いたのが、ボートの乗り方です。ゴムボートの周りの膨らみの部分に腰をかけた状態で、波にぶつかり大きく縦揺れしながら、猛スピードで進んで行くのです。集中していなければ体が投げ出されてしまいそういでした。とってもスリリングで、ずっと「ワーーーーー！！！！！！！！ギャーーーーーーーーー！！」と叫んでいました（笑）一緒に参加していたのは、40~50代くらいのご夫婦、60代くらいのおばあちゃん２人組、日本人の親子、私たちの８人でした。行き着いた先では、トロピカルフィッシュが泳ぐ珊瑚礁でシュノーケリングを楽しみました。ただ、この頃はちょうどサマータイムが終わったころであり、気温があまり高くなかったため、海に入っている間に体が冷えてしまって、お昼を食べてからもう一度泳げる時間があったのですが、体の震えがとまらず泳ぐのを断念しました。せっかくきれいな珊瑚礁だったのに残念でした。特にそのスポットは山からの地下水が流れ出ており、少し水が冷たいところだったみたいです。
シュノーケリングを楽しんだあとは、海岸沿いにある名所を沖から眺めながら帰るという内容でした。帰りも猛スピードを出したり、ボートを極端に傾けてターンをしたりと、楽しませてくれました。
このツアーはおすすめです！！
