I'm not good at swimming, so I chose parasailing.
All the instructions were in English, but the staff member (who looked a bit intimidating) explained everything kindly and carefully with gestures, so there were no issues.
I participated in the morning session and saw whales from the sky!
I signed up with Out of this World, and I enjoyed it without feeling scared.

I participated with my mother in her 60s. I was a bit worried about her joining due to the speed of the boat, but we were both very satisfied. I think elderly people can participate as well. The staff was very accommodating, and during snorkeling, they supported my mother, who couldn't swim, by providing a float that allowed her to look down and see the fish.

Fortunately, we were lucky enough to encounter whales and dolphins. There were no staff members who spoke Japanese, but I think as long as you can communicate a little, you can enjoy the experience without any issues. It's more thrilling than regular whale watching, and I highly recommend it.

If you participate expecting typical rafting, you might feel it's a bit different.

Instead of the thrill from drops, it feels more like riding a rubber boat at high speed on the ocean, similar to jet skiing.

Honestly, I got a bit bored since there were no drops, just fast speeds.

Still, I appreciated the service spirit of the captain, and it was great to actually see wild dolphins and a whale in the distance.

The snorkeling spots were nice, though I wouldn't say they were astonishingly beautiful.

This was great activity! The historian who was on board with us did an excellent job of explaining everything that we were seeing along the coast. The food was really good and there was plenty of it. As an added bonus to our wonderful evening, we were first entertained by several schools of dolphins and then we sighted several whales. What a wonderful sight! The crew were very curtious and helpful and the live entertainment and the drinks were great. Definitely a highlight of my stay and something that I would do again!!

I underestimated Hawaii. The ocean at night was extremely cold. I was thinking I wanted to go home since I couldn't encounter a manta ray. However, when I finally encountered a manta ray swimming gracefully, I was so moved that the cold didn't matter anymore.

For those who are Japanese and not using a rental car, I recommend hotel shuttle services. We used a taxi, but there was a bit of distance between the place where we checked and confirmed the wetsuit size and the boat. Also, on the way back, we had a lot of trouble finding a taxi. I think it would be better to provide more information about that.

After enjoying the cruise, you can go snorkeling in the cove, where part of the boat becomes a slide and diving platform. I had a great time diving in a free style that you can't do in pools in Japan, spinning in the beautiful sea and jumping in with friends. While doing various jumps, I also got to know other guests and staff on the boat, which made it even more fun. You might find snorkeling and cruise experiences elsewhere, but I highly recommend this option where you can dive wholeheartedly into the beautiful sea!!!

The day after arriving on the Big Island, I went on a submarine ride. The weather was nice and the wind was just right, and everyone in my group (from my grandfather to my 5-year-old child, a total of 9 people) was in high spirits.

I was worried about getting seasick and thought I should have taken some motion sickness medication, but as we submerged deeper and the fish appeared before us, all those worries vanished.

The fish I mainly saw were vibrant yellow ones and black and white striped fish. I wish I could have seen more colorful fish like red or blue ones. Perhaps if I had dived in Oahu, I might have encountered a wider variety of fish.

During the dive, there were various explanations in English, and for Japanese speakers, we were given earphones to hear the explanations in Japanese. However, the English explanations were so loud that I couldn't hear the Japanese ones at all, which was disappointing.

That said, the sea was beautifully clear and blue, and I was able to witness truly wonderful scenery, making it a fantastic memory!

天気も良く風も程よく、同行者全員（一番上はおじいちゃんから、一番下は５歳の子供まで総勢９名）気分は上々↑↑

主に目にした魚は鮮やかな黄色や、黒と白のストライプの魚が中心でした。赤とか青とか、もう少し違った色の魚が見れればもっと良かったかな…って思っています。
もしかしたら、オアフ島でダイブしていれば、もっと色とりどりの魚を目にすることができたのかもしれませんね。

また、潜水中は、英語で色々と説明があり、日本人に対しては、日本語の説明が聞こえるイヤホンを渡されるのですが、英語の説明の声が大きすぎて、日本語の説明が全く聞こえず残念でした。

とはいえ、海はどこまでも青く澄んで綺麗で、本当に素敵な光景を目にすることができとても素晴らしい思い出になりました~!!

This was my first time to parasail. I came to Hawaii with my mother who is afraid of heights and water, so I was on my own. It was my first morning in Hawaii and I was not sure where to go. When I called the office after not finding it on my own the lady who answered stayed on the phone talking me through parking then waling from several blocks away. Outstanding service to make sure I was were I needed to be! As soon as I stepped on board both men where ready to answer any questions and talk me through the process with calm confidence. I don't think I could have had a better experience. Thanks to all who worked that day to make my first time a positive experience in what could have been an stressful situation.

I thought this course would be perfect for us who love trekking, so I made a reservation. I was also attracted by the organizer's name, Hawaii Forest & Trail.

While I considered that since we had a rental car for waterfall trekking, we might not need a tour, I ultimately decided to leave it to the professionals.

At the time of booking, it was stated that there would be no pick-up service, but when I called to confirm on-site, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they would pick us up at our hotel. Additionally, they took our requests for the sandwich fillings for lunch. This really motivated us.

On the day of the tour, since it was an English-guided tour (with Mike as our guide), we had a diverse group including four families from Michigan, a Chinese American couple, a Japanese couple, and a Russian woman living in the U.S., along with us (with our 7-year-old child). It truly lived up to its name as a tour that everyone could enjoy.

With this group, we switched to an old military 6WD vehicle for an off-road experience. We bumped over private ranches and fields, and everyone was thrilled by the incredible vibrations and wind! It was quite cold. After that, we trekked through taro fields and across a suspension bridge, learning about ancient Hawaiian divination methods and plant names while visiting small waterfalls. Although we didn't swim due to the high water levels, I thought it would be a perfect spot in the summer.

The trekking was light enough that even our 7-year-old had no trouble, and we enjoyed a wrap sandwich filled with plenty of alfalfa, cheese, and turkey, along with guava juice and cookies at a ranch overlooking the stunning views of Pololu Valley. This wrap sandwich was among the top meals I had on the Big Island due to its location!

On the way back, we were jostled in the 6WD while exploring the town of Hawi. This town seems nostalgic to Westerners, and I heard from several people that it’s a nice place, although it’s not mentioned much in Japanese guidebooks.

The tour was different from those aimed at Japanese tourists, and I had a lot of fun. I got to know the other members well and exchanged various information, and Mike's warm hospitality along with the breathtaking photos of Pololu Valley left us with wonderful memories.

トレッキングが好きな私達にぴったりのコースだと思い予約しました。主催者の名前もHawaii Forrest & Trailで魅かれました。

滝トレッキングなら、レンタカーもしたしわざわざツアーでなくても良いかなとも思ったのですが、やはりそこはプロに任せることに。

予約時は送迎なしということでしたが、現地で電話で確認するとホテルまで迎えに来てくれるという嬉しい変更が。更に、昼食のサンドイッチの具のリクエストもきいてくれました。俄然やる気になる私達。

当日は、英語のガイドツアー（マイクさん）ということもあって、ミシガンからの4家族、チャイニーズアメリカンと日本人のカップル、在米ロシア人の女性一人参加、と私達（子供7歳）とまさにすべての人が楽しめるツアーと名をうっているだけのことはあるという、バリエーション豊かな面子でした。

このグループで、オーストリアの昔の軍用車６WDに乗り換えてのオフロード体験。私有地の牧場や、畑をがたがた超えてすごい振動と風にみんな大興奮！！かなり寒かったです。その後、タロ畑、つり橋をトレッキングし、ハワイ人古来の占い方法や植物の名前などを教わりながら小さな滝をめぐりました。増水していたので泳ぎはしませんでしたが、夏場だったら絶好の場所だと思いました。

7歳の子供でも全く足でまどいになることがない軽い感じのトレッキングで、ポロル渓谷の絶景を臨む牧場でたっぷりのアルファルファとチーズとターキーのラップサンドと、グアバジュース、クッキーを頂きました。このラップサンド、場所が場所だけに、ハワイ島で味わった食事１，２を争う美味しさでした！　

帰りは６WDに揺られて、HAWIの町を散策。この町は欧米人にはノスタルジックらしく、いい場所だと何人からもきいていましたが日本人のガイドブックにはあまり述べられていない場所です。

日本人向けのツアーと、またおもむきやメンバーが違って非常に楽しめました。他のメンバーとも仲良くなって色々情報交換もでき、マイクさんの暖かいホスピタリティーとポロル渓谷の絶景写真と非常によい思い出が残りました。

This was reccommended for all levels. I do not agree. We had several children who were not able to paddle and it made it very hard for the adult in that boat. My parents are in their seventies, the guides were nice enough to pull them. The tour was great my family was not the type of customer that needed to be on this tour. We were allowed out of the kayak to snorkle, a very nice spot, but we had to climb on rocks to take a break. The sea cave was neat but not exactly what I was expecting. We ahd to ask to jump off the cliffs - I am not sure they usually do that although it is in the description. The dolphin and whales were no where to be seen. think there are better snorkling tours available unless you are strong and love to kayak.
However the staff and company was great.

This was the most fun we had in Hawaii! We snorkeled and jumped off a 20' plus cliff! While snorkeling, about 100 spinner dolphins decided to join us and got close enough some people could touch them! Absolutely awesome!

This was an amazing Luau.. WOW! Can't say enough about it. The food was amazing, the entertainment, the entire night. We opted for preferred seating so we were escorted right in, greeted with a fresh flower lei and had our picture taken. That was just the start of a truly fantastic evening. It was held near the ocean at the King Kamehameha Hotel within view of the Ahuena Heiau. The Ahu'ena Heiau is the religious temple that served Kamehameha the Great when he returned to the Big Island in 1812. The show after dinner was spectacular, hard to describe with words.

I participated for the first time in Hawaii.

On the first day of our honeymoon, right after arriving in Hawaii, we headed to Kailua-Kona by rental car for parasailing. Our excitement skyrocketed instantly! We chose the deluxe course at a height of 244 meters, and the view from up there was absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by the endless blue sky and ocean, we kept saying, "This is amazing!" It was truly a sight to behold.

While flying, the boat would turn and drop down close to the water's surface several times, adding to the fun. We went in jeans and T-shirts, but if you wear a swimsuit and say you're okay with getting wet, they will lower you down to where your feet touch the water. The rapid ascents and descents were quite thrilling, making it not just a scenic experience but also an exciting attraction! If you're feeling a bit apprehensive, I think you can still enjoy it at the lowest height. Even the middle height we chose felt quite high, so I wonder what the top height would be like... I would definitely like to try it again if I have the chance!

One thing to be cautious about is the safety checks at the reception and on the boat. If you're not confident in your English, it might feel a bit challenging, but especially regarding the instructions on "not touching the equipment" and "how to fasten the belt," I think it's important to confirm until you fully understand, even if you have to use gestures. The guide didn't speak Japanese, but explained everything carefully in English. They will teach you as many times as needed if you don't understand something. It's crucial not to just casually respond with "OK."

Once on the boat, you'll quickly find yourself in the middle of the ocean, and when you're ready, you'll soar into the sky... If you prepare yourself mentally to avoid panicking once you're up there, I believe anyone can enjoy it safely!

ハネムーン初日、ハワイ到着後すぐにレンタカーでカイルアコナに向かい、パラセイリングへ。ここで一気にテンションＭＡＸになってしまいました☆★
高さ２４４ｍのデラックスコースを選びましたが、空から見る景色は本当に本当に絶景で、どこまでも広がる青い空と海の中で、二人でただただ「すごいねぇ」を連発していました。まさに息をのむような光景だったと思います。

飛んでいる間は、何度かボートが曲がったり、高度を海面スレスレまで下げたりして楽しませてくれます。

もし、「ちょっと怖いかな…」と思うようであれば、一番低い高度でも十分楽しめると思います。私たちの選んだ真ん中のでもかなりの高度だと感じたので、一番上だとどんな感じなのか…。また機会があれば、是非チャレンジしてみたいです！！


注意した方が良いのは、受付時とボートの上での安全確認です。英語に自信のない方はちょっと難しく感じるかもしれませんが、特にボート上で言われる「金具をさわらないこと」と「ベルトの締め方」については、ゼスチャー交じりでも良いので、納得できるまでしっかり確認をした方が良いと思います。
ガイドの方は日本語はできませんが、英語で丁寧に説明してくれました。こちらが理解できていないことは、何度でも教えてくれます。大切なのは、決して適当に「ＯＫ」と返事をしてしまわないことだと思います。

ボートに乗るとあっという間に海の真ん中に出て、準備ができれば一気に空の上…上にあがってから急にパニックにならないよう、落ち着いて心の準備をしておけば、誰でも安全に楽しめると思います！！

I participated in this for the first time in Hawaii.

There are various snorkeling tours, and I was really torn, but choosing the raft boat this time was a great decision!

We set off with about 10 guests and 2 guides!! Right from the start, the speed and excitement were incredible!!! We raced over the waves, and it was so refreshing☆

At first, I was a bit worried it might be scary, but once I got on, it was surprisingly stable. Even though the driver maneuvered quite roughly (which was part of the fun), it was more manageable than I expected. The boat tilting during turns and sudden stops was really enjoyable!

The other participants were travelers from Europe and Mexico, and they were all mature couples. I was a bit surprised to see people who looked to be in their 50s and 60s wearing swimsuits and joining such an exciting tour. It was really impressive how active they were! I think there's no need to worry about it being "scary" at all!

The snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay was truly beautiful, with clear water and lots of different kinds of fish! We had plenty of time, and the fruit we had during the break was delicious☆ On the way to and from the snorkeling spot, we encountered a pod of dolphins swimming right next to and below us, and we also visited lava caves… it was a tour filled with fun, and it went by in a flash!!

I highly recommend this activity for both first-timers to Hawaii and repeat visitors!!!! I definitely want to do it again in Hawaii☆★

シュノーケルツアーはいろいろあって、すごく迷いましたが、今回のラフトボートは大正解でした！

10名程度の客と2名のガイドで出発！！…直後からすごいスピード＆迫力で大興奮！！！波の上を跳ねるように駆け抜けていって、とっても爽快でした☆

最初はちょっと怖いかなぁという心配もあったのですが、乗ってみたら意外な安定感で、運転手がけっこう荒い操縦をしても（楽しませるための演出ですが）思いのほか大丈夫でした。曲がるときや急ブレーキでボートが傾くのも、すごく楽しかった！

一緒に参加したのはヨーロッパやメキシコからの旅行者で、みんな熟年の夫婦の方ばかりでした。50~60歳以上と思われる方々が、水着を着てこんなエキサイティングなツアーに参加するなんて、本当にアクティブだなぁとちょっとビックリ。
それぐらいのツアーなので、「怖いかも」という心配はいらないと思います！

ケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケリングは、本当に水がキレイでいろんな種類の魚がたくさん見れました！時間もたっぷりあって、休憩で食べたフルーツが美味しかった☆
シュノーケリングスポットへの往復の間には、イルカの群れがよってきてすぐ横や下を泳いだり、溶岩洞窟を見に行ったり…楽しみいっぱいで、あっという間の満足ツアーでした！！

ハワイが初めてという方にも、リピーターの方にも、超オススメのアクティビティです！！！！
私も是非またハワイで、もう一回行きたい☆★

The photos on the website were exactly as they appeared. The seabed was densely covered with coral reefs, and there were plenty of fish. I visited other snorkeling points as well, but I felt that this spot had exceptionally high visibility, possibly due to the lack of sand being stirred up. The depth was not too deep, so I felt safe swimming. There was also a lot of time to swim freely. About an hour before lunch and several minutes after lunch. I was very satisfied. Above all, the BBQ for lunch was delicious! The meal was a hamburger buffet, where you could enjoy freshly grilled beef patties, fresh sliced tomatoes, onions, pickles, and more, all piled into buns as you liked. It was so delicious that I ended up eating two. The staff were very kind, and during the explanation of safety precautions, they provided a written document in Japanese, which made it easy to understand without any confusion. Thank you to all the staff. I highly recommend this to those who haven't participated yet.

昼食前に１時間程度、昼食後に数十分。大満足です。
何よりも、昼食のBBQの美味しい事！！

その場で網焼きされたビーフパティや、新鮮なスライストマト、オニオン、ピクルス等を好きなだけバンズに挟んで食すスタイル。あまりに美味しくて２つ食べてしまいました。
スタッフの方も大変優しくて、注意事項の説明の際には、
日本語の書面を渡して下さり、戸惑うことなく理解出来ました。
スタッフのみなさんありがとうございました。
そして、まだ参加されていない方には、オススメです。

I took the doors off flight and I was totally amazed.
This is the best experience you could even imagine.
Ranks equal to or even better than riding my Harley through the Rocky mountains in Colorado.
Of coarse you can tell that I highly recommend this flight and especially with the doors off.

At first, I was scared because the manta rays were so close, but I got used to it!

I thought something was bumping into my face, and when I looked closely, it was a huge amount of plankton?! It was amazing!

Even though there were so many, the two manta rays quickly devoured them all!

The view of the sunset in front of the office is beautiful! ☆
