Big Island
We had a great time swimming with the dolphins. Wish we had not gotten sea sick and enjoyed the trip more but we did have fun!
Aloha June! We are so happy that you enjoyed our Kona dolphin watch tour. Thank you so much for joining us. We hope to see you again soon. Mahalo!
Had a fabulous experience at the Luau with my family. It was the first luau experience for my daughter and she enjoyed it. Thank you.
There was some AC issue that needed fixing, and caused a 2hr delay. However, the views from the helicopter were amazing! We were able to see a bunch of waterfalls, a natural arch, and of course… LAVA!
It was a great experience, and we’ll always remember the memories!
That was a workout making our way back after the wind picked up, but it made it more exciting and fun.
Lava cave was great! Skipped Cliff jumping, but looked pretty awesome!
Very relaxing just floating while having a drink and some snacks.
The food was great, the dancers were good and very entertaining.
Bar tender was very friendly.
This was a great snorkel adventure. We made 3 stops and saw tons of beautiful coral and underwater creatures. It was a long half-day, but it went by so quickly. Would definitely do this again.
Our pilot was fantastic and knowledgeable - he literally seemed to know the answered to every question we had and he did this all while flying with impeccable grace. Love!
The tour was very nice and relaxing. Listening to the wind and the ocean views was wonderful. The guides were very helpful and told us about the land here and there while we rode. Over all experience was delightful.
Thank you! We are so happy you enjoyed the tour!
We travel to Kona every other year. We discovered the dinner cruise the last time we went and loved it so we definitely booked it again last week. This year was even better. The crew were ready to help anyone needing help. We were waited on and spoiled. The food was tasty. The historian did a great job as did the music entertainment. We took the cruise at the end of March which should have been too late to view a whale. One popped up right beside the boat. The captain steered the boat to try to follow the whale so we could get another view. It started raining later and once again the captain did what he could to take us out away from the rain. We will definitely do this the next time we return to Hawaii.
Such an awesome experience! We were surrounded by Manta Rays! So very cool, and the crew were helpful, very good at their jobs! Would love to do it again if we are ever back in Kona.
The staff is wonderful and provide top notch service. Unfortunately, the day we went out we saw no dolphins.
Aloha,
Mahalo for taking the time to leave such a kind review.
We agree that it's unfortunate that you did not see dolphins; we sure wish you did!
Thank you for joining us! We hope you can join us again in the future.
Best wishes,

We had such a good time on this dinner cruise. The food was good, the DJ and our tour guide was excellent. We ate, danced and enjoying the beautiful views from the ocean of the Big Island. The sunset view is a most see!!
The crew was great, helpful and fun. The little bit of history was enjoyable. We loved seeing the different marine life. The water wasn't too cold either. Our ride back was fantastic, Thanks Loren 1, 2 and Alex.
Pros: You will get as close as possible to many Manta rays, completely safe, even for kids, very informative guides.
Cons: They don't yet have an option to buy underwater photos or GoPro video of your experience, so bring your own.
Overall a great experience, highly recommend!
Fabulous ocean backdrop. Very colourful performance and the fire show was awesome. Food was very good and catered for vegetarians as well. strongly recommended
For those of us who had been to previous luaus this experience was amazing. The attention to history and story telling was very interesting. The costumes, dances and national history was educational as well as entertaining. (Especially the fire dancer!) Some of our friends had never been to a luau before and also thought it was wonderful. The food was presented beautifully and delicious. (The drinks were excellent too!) We even tried the poi because this was the first time it had ever been explained to us how to eat it and with what food combination. The location was easy to find and parking was ample. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience for our group of six and would highly recommend this event.
For a family coming from the snow, we didn’t know what to expect. We didn’t even know if we could snorkel! The crew was super helpful and fun. All of our fears were for not. We had the time of our lives! We were treated to historic stories to go along with our boat ride, the snorkel equipment was clean and high quality, the sights were incredible! The perfect adventure for beginners! Highly recommended!
Amazing, friendly staff and very informative tour. We saw so many different species and learned a lot during our tour. We already want to go again! We recommend this tour

We know there are a lot of activity providers on the Big Island, and we're honored you chose to spend part of your morning with us...and that we've earned your recommendation.
Mahalo and a hui hou!
P.S. Mahalo for including those pictures! Great images!
Very professional. Informative commentary and a great underwater experience.
The pilot was very experienced and informational.
The view are amazing. Will do it again too!!
Everything was on point. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The day was gorgeous and the sunset was incredible too. Manta-rays we’re a real show!!! They looked so beautiful and out of this word, like dancing in the water and playing with us. Definitely a must at the Big Island.
Bethany could not have been more accommodating and welcoming when we first arrived followed by a tremendous day at sea with Jill ! She gave an amazing tour of the coastline sharing history, " fun facts" and plentiful opportunity to see lava caves , blowholes, and awesome snorkeling! We saw a baby whale with her mama thanks to Jill's sharp eye followed by a diving turtle and then some dolphin at our final stop. Couldn't have asked for a better day that Jill and Sea Quest gave!
Going to the luau was a great way to kick off our trip to Hawaii learning about the history and culture, traditions and customs. Staff were attentive, meal was varied to allow for local cuisine and picky eaters in the group ( who knew Chick nuggets and Mac was customary but a fan fav for the kids!). Banana bread delicious. The show entertaining and ambiance pretty overlooking the water.
This was a fantastic Luau! Not my first one, I enjoyed the everything about it. The live musicians, singers, actors/dancers were all top notch. Very informative and exciting. The food was decent too, lots of choices.
I would say best entertainment, very good dancers and the fire stick twirler was fantastic! It was long enough and not too long . It was perfect: the food was fine , not Grand but I just am a picky eater so I think it was fine. The show was awesome !!! Well done! The host of the show did a good job also : getting old so his voice wasn’t fantastic but who cares .
Overall, this was a good experience for my family. We went with 3 kids and 6 adults including grandparents. The food was tasty, but not a lot of choices for picky eaters. The show was fun and the kids were thrilled by the fire dancer! Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, they did not have any pre-event activities to keep the kids engaged. My daughter really wanted to learn to hula dance as advertised, but they did not have it the night we went. I cannot fault them for taking Covid precautions. Again, overall, the whole family walked away from this happy and with good memories.
This was a fun experience for all! The food was good and the show was engaging and fun for the whole family. Great views of the ocean and the sunset as the evening went on. Would definitely recommend for others in the future!
This tour was perfectly laid out. We covered a lot of territory, but it all went smoothly. The tour included breakfast and lunch, which were both excellent. Loved seeing a coffee plantation, winery, Black San Beach with turtles, the volcano crater, and waterfalls. Our guide, Derek, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided excellent information throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour. I was traveling with a child, and she also enjoyed all our stops.
Came from Oahu for work. Had some extra time. We had fun. The staff was friendly and funny. Thanks to my local Braddas for showing us a good time. We’ll be back on the next trip to the big island
Overall it's an must do cruise to go out on the ocean on a Catamaran near the Waikoloa area.
We saw whales from far off as it was afternoon and the bigger ship is not attractive to the whales.
We would do the morning trip on the powerboat with fewer people or go for the sunset cruise. There is not much info provided during the cruise so it's lacking the fun in whale watching as it can be boring if nothing happens.
It would also be better if there was a spotter pointing to the breaches as it happens very quickly and multiple people spotting can be confusing.
After you get on board you are mostly left on your own and the boat only goes less than half a mile out.
We saw more whales from the shore than on the boat but it was good to get out on the ocean with this cruise.
