I still clearly remember the excitement when the manta ray first appeared. The manta ray swimming gracefully under the blue lights was so mysterious and beautiful, it felt like a scene from a TV show or movie.

However, this tour is definitely a test of physical and mental stamina. Even my mother, who loves snorkeling and the ocean (in her 70s), had to get back on the boat just 10 minutes into it. It seems she didn't like the water getting into her mask. I had similar trouble with my mask, so it might be a good idea for those who are accustomed to their own gear to bring it along.

On the other hand, my 10-year-old daughter kept saying "one more!" during breaks on the boat and quickly returned to participate until the end. My mother was moved to see the staff coordinating and escorting my daughter back to the boat.

The beautiful Alisha, who speaks Japanese, repeatedly asked me "Are you okay?" while we were on the water and the boat, which made me feel very supported since I wasn't confident in my swimming.

On the return boat ride, I felt a mix of emotions—excitement, awe, and fatigue—all swirling together, creating a very strange feeling. I thought to myself that paying for such an experience, which I could never have done alone, must be priceless.

対する10歳の娘は、ボートでの休憩をはさみながら「one　more！」と言って、すぐに戻って来て最後まで参加していました。娘がボートに戻る際スタッフ達が声を掛け合い連携して娘をエスコートしてくれる様に、母は感動していました。
日本語の話せる美しいアリーシャも、海の上でも、船の上でも、何度も何度も「だいじょぶ？」「だいじょぶ？」と聞いてくれて、泳ぎに自信のない私はとても心強かったです。

帰りのボートでは、感動と興奮と疲労とがごちゃごちゃになって、とても不思議な心持ちでした。自分だけでは決して出来ない、このような体験にお金を払うことがプレイスレスなんだろうなぁ、と思いました。

However, perhaps due to the strong waves, my wife and son became seasick about ten minutes into kayaking and had to return early. Unfortunately, we could only snorkel near the starting point, which was very disappointing. I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take anti-nausea medication beforehand.

Since I was experienced, the explanation for snorkeling was brief, and I thought it might be a bit tough for the inexperienced children. 　防水カメラを準備して行かなかったのですが、ケビンさんが持参の防水カメラで写真撮影して、後でファイルを共有させてくれました。

I was anxious about whether I would really encounter wild dolphins, but our guide Daisuke was already smiling and pointing to the sea in the car on the way to the port, saying, "I have a feeling they might be around here," which greatly increased my expectations.

この日は当たりだったようで、何度も何度も海中で群れを見せてもらいましたし、ジャンプして回転するイルカや波に乗ってサーフィンするイルカ、色んな場面を見ることができました。
また、ダイスケさんとボートの操縦士の縄田さんがとても素敵なコンビで、参加者全員が楽しめるようにボード上でも色々と気配りしてくださったのが印象的でした。
次にハワイに来る時もまたこちらのツアーに申し込むつもりです。ありがとうございました。

A fun guide and a cheerful captain took us by boat to see the dolphins. They predicted the dolphins' movements, and as soon as we spotted a pod, we jumped into the water. Even my 10-year-old was able to chase and swim around with the dolphins while snorkeling. We were allowed to swim freely, but if we stayed close to the guide, they would pull us right next to the dolphins. I took a helicopter from Waikoloa. It was my first time on a helicopter, and just watching the helicopters return from the morning tour got me so excited! I was given an emergency life jacket, boarded the helicopter, and was handed a headset and intercom—wow, so cool!! At first, I was nervous and a bit scared during takeoff, but it didn't shake at all, and the views were amazing, so I was able to enjoy it. Due to the active activity of Kilauea volcano, we couldn't get close to Halemaʻumaʻu Crater, but entering the bays of the Hamakua Coast and getting close to the waterfall was an experience unique to the helicopter. I was so excited that I forgot to take motion sickness medication before getting on, so I ended up looking down the whole time and got a little nauseous along the way. Next time, I plan to take motion sickness medicine and definitely want to see Halemaʻumaʻu Crater.

I participated with my high school daughter and husband. This was our third time riding, following the Grand Canyon and Parker Ranch on the Big Island, and we are still beginners. Before we rode, they explained how to ride and safety precautions very slowly and clearly in English. During the ride, they also talked about the ranch and the Big Island, engaging us in conversation, and they guided us in a very friendly and safe manner. We could see the coastline of Kona from the ranch, and the view was outstanding. They kept our valuables in a safe, which was really helpful.

ワイキキからタクシー6:30発日帰りで行きました。
デルタマイルを使ってハワイアン航空ホノルル8:00発でヒロまでの往復、帰路は16:30発。かなりのハードスケジュールでしたが一生の思い出になりました。
ドア無しヘリコプターは最高で、怖さよりも楽しさスリル満点です。凄いの連発で感動モノです！ケチらなくて良かったです。絶対にドア無しにするべきです。
英語は全く話せませんが何とかなるとのです。
レンタカーも予約にて借りて、余った11:30からヒロの町でビッグアイランドキャンディーズで買い物して、カフェ100にてロコモコランチ。飛ばしてワイピオ渓谷展望台見学しました。
日本人参加者はいませんでしたが、皆さんトライしましょう！！

Among the various tours available, I chose this one based on the reviews. The wetsuit rental is an additional $10, but it’s a fantastic tour. As mentioned in someone else's post, this tour lights up the water, attracting plankton, and many mantas come to visit! I spent about an hour right in front of the mantas! According to the tour guide, there were supposedly 11 mantas!

Other tours seemed to encounter mantas nearby, but this tour allows you to see them up close. It became a lifelong memory!

It can get a bit cold, so warm clothing is essential!

ウエットスーツ10ドルが別になりますが、素晴らしいツアーです。
