Reviewed by: Family traveler, 2016/08/18We originally arrived on a Friday to see the show, but shortly after we started the meal,we were completely rained out. That was very disappointing and upsetting that we weren't forewarned by email about the strong possibility of rain, as we had come over from Hilo for the luau. However, we received a rain check for another luau on the following Monday. Fortunately, we were able to rearrange our schedule to come before flying home. The Monday night luau was lovely - entertainment and emcee were fantastic all around. Food was good, not great. Service was okay. Location was beautiful.

Great performance
Reviewed by: BeePos, 2016/07/25Talented and great looking actors, musicians and hostess. The food was high quality. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the Mai Tais. They were mainly juice, super sweet and head-ache inducing. The bar closed much earlier than dinner ended, so I couldn't take advantage of the open bar. Another thing that didn't seem fair is that teenagers paid the same as adults. And of course they weren't drinking...

Great Show, good food

Nice atmosphere on the lawn by the ocean. Fire dancer was pretty awesome. Great view of the sunset. We would do this again.

Best on the Big Island

What makes this one great is the history of the island that is part of the program. Plus the buffet is the best one around. And just like in real estate, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!!!
We recently moved here so a luau is always on the agenda when friends come. We still get as excited now as the first one we ever saw.

大満足のショーでした！ おススメです。

プレミアムシートを予約したのですが、真ん中の最前列からの観賞でベストポジション！ショーは伝統的なものあり、ユニークなものあり、ファイヤーダンスありと大満足の内容でした。料理もおいしかったですよ。ヒルトン泊まるなら是非おススメですね。

よかったです。
Reviewed by: naonao, 2016/07/06皆さんの口コミを見て、席のグレードアップはせず、30分くらい前から受付前に並び、開くのを待ちました。当然こんなに早く並んでいる人たちはおらず、私たちが1番。なので一般席の中でも1番前の見やすい席へ案内してもらえました。料理もまあまあかな。
どこのショーにも共通して言えることなのでしょうが、ここはハワイなのに、優雅なハワイアンフラよりも、露出度の高いタヒチアンダンスの方が多いのがちょっとだけ不満です。
でも、最後のファイアーナイフダンスは何度見ても良いものですね。

リゾート気分満点のショーでした
Reviewed by: 三田ファミリー, 2016/05/25 スタンダート席を予約してましたので、早めに受け付けをして17:30からの開場を待ちました。その結果、舞台に近いスタンダート席に案内されました。
周りを見ても日本人は少なく、海外に来たなと感じました。
ビュッフェの順番はプレミアム席の後にスタンダート席なので、少し（だいぶ）待ちくたびれました。ビュッフェ料理はハワイ料理のほか種類も多く、ボリュームたっぷりでした。
フラダンスとファイアーダンスのショーは迫力がありました。味のある司会者（女性）がショーの進行をされており、そのトークに欧米人はかなりノリノリでした。私は英語力をつけなければと痛感しました。
全体的には、ショー、料理、周りの雰囲気などとても満足した時間を過ごせました。

席を変更しなければよかった（TT）
Reviewed by: miyu, 2016/05/21できるだけ近くで見たいと思い直前にプレミアシートに変更をしました。現地へ着く日にこの予定を入れたのはこちらにも落ち度があったけどホテルは敷地内だし席は決まっているのだし、遅れても大丈夫だと思い行ってみると、前には既に団体がいてとても見えにくい位置でした。飲み物もフリードリンクといいながら、声をかけてもオーダーを取りに来ないし（他の外人のところへは来る）レイもかけてもらえなかったし、こんなことなら席を変更しなければ良かったと何度も思いました。オアフでもヒルトンではいい思いをしなかったし最低だと思いました。楽しみにしていたのに・・・。

料理を取る順番があります。

時間までキッチリ並んで、最初にワンドリンク片手に席へ案内されます。横並びか？向かい合わせか？聞いてきますので、好みに合わせましょう！
普通席でしたが、出来れば少しおごってプレミアムな良いせいがオススメです。前の先で、スナックが付き、サービスが良い気がします。また、早めに食事の合図があります。
食事は、バッフェスタイルですが、最初は席により順番が決まっているので、後回しになっても指示を待ちましょう！
豚の丸焼きが出てきて興奮しますが、少し香りが強く思ったより・・・個人差があります。
本格的なショーでとても楽しかったです。
ステージの左横からサンセットが見れますので、カメラ片手にタイミングを計りましょう！必見です。

There's no place like Hawaii
Reviewed by: Cooper, 2016/05/09バウチャーにはカメハメハコート集合と書いていますが、地図の場所はメインエントランスになっていました。
最初エントランスで待っていましたが、何か様子が違うので直接ルアウの会場へ行きましたがそこがカメハメハコートとのこと。地図、見ない方が良かったです。
受付をすると、係りの人がレイを付けてくれて写真撮影です。この写真はその後、ホテルの写真コーナーで購入しました。
17:30から開場となり、席に案内されます。席は真ん中の列で最前列に2人いたのでその次の列となります。
周りを見ると日本人らしき人も何人かいた程度で、席の周りはアメリカ人のようです。
プレミアム席なので、食事を取りに行くのは最初に優先的に行けますし、ドリンクも飲みたいものをバトラーへ伝えれば持ってきてもらえます。
食事にはハワイの料理などもあり、そちらを優先的に食べてみましたが、そこそこの味でした。
カイルアピッグは美味しかったし、アヒポキも予想していた味でしたが、ウベはちょっと口に合いませんでした。
食事中に少し雨が強くなることもありましたが、食事が終わるころには雨は止みました。
食事も一段落したころ、ショーが始まりました。
ショーはフラとファイアーダンスを組み合わせたもので、司会の進行で進められていきます。ステージに近いので、迫力があります。
途中、ダンサーに指名されてステージに上がり、一緒にフラを踊ることになりました。適当に体を動かすしかできなかったですが、見よう見真似でなんとか乗り切りました。
個人的には、食事の途中からショーが始まるようにしてもう少し全体を時間を短くしてもらったほうが良かったとは思いますが、楽しめるショーではないかと思います。終わるころには、「There's no place like Hawaii」のフレーズを口ずさんでいました。

日暮れとともに、優しい動きのフラダンス、迫力のルアウショーが続き、ハワイの伝統文化を堪能しました。バイキング料理もメニューが豊富で、味付けもよかったと思います。
広い会場でしたが、プレミアムシートを予約していたので、ダンサーの動きなどを間近で見ることができました。

Very entertaining
Reviewed by: Meesh, 2016/03/18We really enjoyed the food and the show. Great costumes and history of the culture. If you're staying at the Royal Kona Hotel, you can see the show for free from the poolside. But the food was delicious and it was fun being included on stage and in the show itself. We're not drinkers, so the value for money wasn't there for us, but we still truly enjoyed ourselves. We brought our three kids with us and they had a lot of fun as well. It was entertaining for everyone!

Great food and even better entertainment.

いい想い出になりました！
Reviewed by: ココア, 2016/02/13オアフ島は何度か行ったことがありますが、ハワイ島は初めて行きました。せっかく行くならショーを見たいと思いネットや本で調べたところ、こちらのルアウショーが1番良さそうだったので申し込みました。
書き込みに、前の方の席が希望なら早めに並んだ方がいいとあったので1時間前から並びました。その時間ですでに5組ほど並んでる方がいました。が早めに行った甲斐あり前の方の席に座ることが出来ました！
そしていよいよショーはというと…！
登場シーンが海からというスケールが大きかったです！音楽はずっと生演奏で流れていたのでとても楽しめました。そして1番楽しみにしてたフラは躍りはとっても素敵だったのですが、ダンサーの人数が少なかったのか続けてずっとフラが見れるわけではなく曲と曲の間の空き時間が何回もあり、それが残念でした！着替え等の準備で時間がかかるのは仕方ないと思うのでもう少しダンサーの人数がいればなと思いました。でも躍りはとても素敵だったのでもっと曲数見れたら大満足だったなと思います。
お料理はあまり期待してなかったのですが、予想より品数も多く美味しかったです。
総合的にはフラがもっと見れたら大満足でした！でもそれを省けば、海辺で夕暮れ時からのショーはとてもいい想い出になりました。ありがとうございました！

総合的にはなかなか良かったと感じています。
クリスマスだったので休暇で来ている家族連れが多く混み合っていましたが、17時より少し前に行ったところアリィ席の隣のテーブルに案内してもらえました。
食事は丸焼きの豚が美味しいと思いましたが、部位によっては臭みがあったりするようです。アメリカなので全体的に大味ですが、そこが良さでもあるのかなぁと。キッズ向けビュッフェコーナーにチャンクたっぷりのクッキー等お菓子がたくさんあって、大人なのに何度も取りに行ってしまいました。笑
ショーは参加型のものもあるし、しっとりしたフラもあればファイヤーダンスもあって、飽きない内容だと思います。
子供ができたらまた連れて行きたいかも、と思うディナーショーでした。

Food was plentiful and very good. Liquor could have been more upscale. Bartender and staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting.

Fun entertainment & nice location
Reviewed by: Lisa P., 2016/01/03My husband & I bought four tickets to see the Island Breeze Luau at the King Kamehameha Hotel on the Big Island for ourselves & our friends from Germany. The entertainment was a delight & there was a tremendous variety of food & also mai tais available included in the price. Though I'm not a big drinker, the punch bowls of mai tais were taken away pretty quickly after dinner was served. I would rather have alcohol with my meal than before, but if you're a cocktail before kind of person, you'll be fine. The locale was very serene in the evening with the glimmer of the island lights from the mountain side reflecting from the ocean. Overall, a very nice & worthwhile evening.
