My first zipline experience! There were about ten participants, and at first, we received help from the instructor to put on the necessary gear like harnesses and helmets. After that, we took a van up to the starting point on the hill. Once we arrived, we received a briefing on safety precautions for ziplining and then descended the first zipline over grass to confirm our basic movements. From there, we continued at quite a speed over a valley with three waterfalls and above the river. We took breaks along the way for hydration and fruit, enjoying the thrill of eight ziplines, including the longest one over 600 meters. (Originally there were nine, but the eighth zipline was under maintenance, so we did a total of eight.) The speed and height were a bit scary at first, but by the end, I was able to enjoy the scenery. Some experienced adults and children even went upside down while zipping, having a great time.

The zip line gradually becomes higher and longer, designed to be more exciting and high-speed, making it a lot of fun. The weather was nice, with views of the ocean and waterfalls, and I enjoyed the increasingly long zip line while having a banana. I was worried about not being able to speak English, but they were very kind and made me feel at ease. I believe that even those who don't speak English can participate. The seventh zip line had a rainbow over the waterfall, which was amazing! Moreover, the landing spot was also interesting. It might have been a coincidence, but the other participants from California and other countries were all friendly and the tour had a great atmosphere.

After making a reservation in Japan, head to the store counter at the designated time. It takes a bit of time to enter the tour's specified website and sign contracts in case of accidents. Since there are no Japanese speakers, it can be challenging if you don't understand some English (a translation device is also possible).

After that, you put on the gear, wear a helmet, and head up the mountain in a microbus. If you're wearing a baseball cap, you can wear it under the helmet, but other types are not allowed. Initially, you'll slide down a distance of about 20 meters to get accustomed to it after a safety briefing before starting.

From the second run onward, the distance gradually increases, and finally, you'll have a long run over the valley from a platform about 6 meters high. About ten people are accompanied by two guides, ensuring safety at all times. People of all ages, from children to the elderly, can safely enjoy the beautiful scenery.

You'll Feel Like Mary Poppins but over a Waterfall

First timers will experience an exhilaration rush of amazing views. Even if you are afraid of heights don’t be, the crew are professional experts to ease your worries. They know what they are doing (with a flare of joking) to take your nerves from reminding you you’re going to be hundred of feet up in the air. It’s worth it! You’ll appreciate the picturesque palm trees, streams and lastly the huge waterfall. This took my breath away but in a good way. Bring your camera for all the unforgettable shot. What you show all your social media friends and family will surely make them jealous. Love the experience highly recommended!

A great time at Umauma Falls Zipline Tour & Waterfall Swim Adventure / 9 Zipline Tour.

Although it rained, it was a great time with my visiting friends. Our group had about seven total members, and we all felt included and enjoyed the adventure together. When the weather turned into rain, and the wind made the rain even more interesting... We all decided to make the most of it and enjoy the unique experience. Our Guides were friendly, informative, and humorous. They take safety seriously but they take the time to make sure you are having fun while being safe. Safety tip... "Keep your head and face to one side of the tether, or you'll get a knuckle sandwich." We will return on a sunny day to enjoy the waterfalls, but it was a great time for all, and the guides made it extra memorable.

It was a perfect day! The plantation was BEAUTIFUL and we learned so much about all the native and non-native agricultural while walking to the next platform. Byron and Monique were amazing and had our family laughing the whole time! Totally making everyone feel at ease. The tips they provided ensuring we got the most out of each ”zip”were a huge help and made the adventure just that much more fun. We would do it all again in a heartbeat!

We weren’t sure about the waterfall swim/kayak, the kids said this was their favorite part of the time at Umauma, even better than zip lining!!

Highly recommended for people of almost any age!!

We had blasting time at the 7 Zipline tour!! It was an amazing experience to fly on top of the waterfalls, Our tour guides both Zoey and Emma were so fun and took care of us in every step of the Zipline with safety!! Me and my sons were able to experience the Zipline on top of the big waterfalls more than 500ft who was an amazing memory this summer!!

I liked how you start small for those who a less experienced and afraid of heights. Our guides were awesome in explaining everything and giving history of the area. The funniest part was when Angela hid behind some bushes and started making pig sounds, causing one of the participants to jump back! LOL! The guides really did a great job making it fun and relaxing my nerves.

Totally awesome experience w professional zippers who keep safety first but make it super fun!! I embraced the challenge of the bridges to help me w my fear of high edges. Curtis and Eli , our guides, are very knowledgeable of Hawaii , and some hidden gems to visit!

Overall great experience. There was construction traveling to the location and they waited for the people that were stuck in traffic. The staff was very friendly and answered and questions we had. They helped take pictures at the end by the waterfall for everyone. I felt very comfortable with the safety equipment. Especially going over the waterfall and the other really far drop. I would definitely recommend this company.

This Zip-line Tour was off the hook! David and Josh, along with the other staff, were awesome and very good at what they do! They’re safety instructions were very friendly and clear that made it a really simple and fast process. They’re funny humor kept my wife and I engaged and laughing the whole time which helped break the ice and had everyone conversing. The Zip-Lines are short at the beginning but that’s ok because it was our first time doing this type of activity and helped ease into the longer ones. The grand finale is awesome and are still super stoked about doing it! You won’t be disappointed. Oh! And you have to try the different types of bananas while tracking through the different Zip-Lines and don’t forget to enjoy the views! Once again, thank you Josh and David for a great time and all the info provided! Until next time!
