Intense ride to an amazing waterfall

If you like adventure in an area you have not explored before, this is for you. We had a side-by-side thrilling ride to an amazing waterfall. The view is breathtaking and the water so refreshing. Water was great to cool off and clean up a bit. Amanda, Alysha, and Saire were excellent guides. They were very helpful and extremely personable. We highly recommend this Big Island adventure.
Shoes and clothes that can get dirty, bandana for your face, water shoes for swimming..

We enjoyed our day. The staff were organized and very friendly. They ensured everyone was safe and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed being able to explore the property and look at the waterfalls. We had a nice time sitting by the waterfall and having time to enjoy going in the water. We were a bit disappointed by the ride itself as were are more seasoned and experienced riders. The pace was very geared to beginners and some guests had no clue what they were doing and that slowed the activity. We also hoped to have a ride close by ocean and that isn’t part of this activity, not their fault. I should have looked into that more. We basically road around through trails in a field. One last bit of advice, they should chill the drink they serve better. We appreciated though being provided a drink and snack part way through.
Ask about who you’re going to be touring with, as less experienced tourists slow the pace down.

Great zip line experience! Beautiful scenery. Always felt safe. Guides were awesome! I was worried about transportation from cruise ship and back. We caught a taxi and same guy came back to pick us up. No problem.

Great time, great food, great service! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening cruising down to Captain Cook. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The mean was wonderful. We loved that we could sit back and enjoy the scenery while being served. I would definitely recommend this dinner cruise.

ジップラインは次第に高く、長いものになり、よりエキサイティングかつハイスピードになるよう構成されていて、すごく楽しいです。
ガイドの方も盛り上げ上手で、みんなで楽しもうという一体感があります。
確かに英語ができないと、話半分になっちゃいますが、それでも話の中には参加でき、楽しい雰囲気を感じることはできました。
集合場所には、ナビに全頼りだと着かないかもしれません。最後は少し注意が必要です。

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises
The best snorkeling tour on the island!

Hosts are great, very friendly and shared historical information at sites along the way. We saw a mother and baby whale as well as hammerhead sharks on the trips to and from. The sea life at the snorkeling site were abundant and beautiful.
Highly recommend this tour above others.

初出航ながら運良く大遭遇！

出航して5分ほどで逢えました！
その後も続々とブロー・ブリーチング・テールスラップ・ペックスラップを見せてくれました。
距離はけっして近くなかったけれど、これだけ頻繁に“ダンス”を魅せてくれたので大満足です。
宿泊していたヒルトン・ワイコロアが運良く海側最突端の部屋でしたが、朝や昼に海を眺めていると遠くでブロー＆ブリーチングをしている姿が見えます。
ツアーに参加したのは3月初旬でしたが、頻繁に出逢えるホエールウォッチングには最適・絶好の時期のようです。
好天に恵まれて、多少の波はありましたが心配していた船の揺れも少なく、快適な船の旅でした。
出航前の待ち時間45～60分ほど。日除けのない砂浜で待つので天気の良い日は十分な日焼け対策と水分補給の準備を！
砂浜から小型のグラスボートで本船まで移動します。足が波に洗われるので濡れてもよい恰好で！

ハワイは20回近くいっていますが、今まではゴルフ目的でしたが、歳を重ね(79歳)同伴者がいなくなり今回は妻と妻の友達２人でした。
女性陣の希望で初めてホエールウォッチングをしました。
ガイドは英語で理解出来ませんでしたが、船は懸命にクジラを追っているな感じは伝わって跳ねるきましたが、近くでの遭遇出来ず、遠くで微かに吹き上がる潮と跳ねる黒いクジラが一瞬見られました。
大満足は出来ませんでしたが、期待感は十分でした。
帰路船からみるハワイ島の海岸に打ち上げてある白い波しぶきは地上では見られない迫力ある光景でした。
船の軽食はパスタが一品だけで期待ハズレでした。
乗船前に個人情報等をＰＣに入力する作業があり、時間がかかりましたので、乗船時間は余裕を持って行かれると良いと思います。

ヘリコプターの初搭乗なこともありますが、エキサイティングでした。パイロットさんが日本語でも解説してくれたので、助かりました。まあ、火山活動なので仕方ないですが、キラウエアの赤い溶岩は見られませんでした。あと、滝への着陸ツアーではありませんが、見られると思っていたので少し残念です。
やはり助手席だったらと思います。グループ外の人がパイロット助手席に同乗した場合、その人の服装、振る舞いで、後席の人は快適性、外の見易さに影響アリです。ガイダンス通り暗めの服装をして欲しいです。

とにかく、イルカはかわいいです！
一緒に遊び、泳ぎ、エサやり。貴重な体験でした。
多少、英語が苦手でもチャレンジすべきです。なんとかなります。イルカを大事に思い、インストラクターの動作をよく見れば触って良いところがわかります。

実際に船に乗って鯨を見るのは初めてで、近くで見れて迫力がありました。たまたま2頭いたのでかなりラッキーでした。何度か海面に上がってきてくれたのも最高でした。
天気と運次第。こればかりは、どうにもなりません！
