Big Island
On the way to the manta snorkeling point, while riding the boat and enjoying the beautiful sunset, we were able to see two whales and many sharks. I heard that sharks can only be seen about twice a year.
During snorkeling, the large mantas came so close that it felt like they were almost going to bump into us, which was very impressive!
The staff were all very kind, and having a Japanese guide on board made us feel secure. After the tour, they even sent us the videos taken with the GoPro for free. I highly recommend this tour!

This is a luxurious tour where you can enjoy whale watching, dolphin watching, sea turtle viewing, and snorkeling all on a cruise charter. We participated as a family of six across three generations, and with two staff members accompanying us, one of whom entered the water to provide guidance and support, my 78-year-old mother, who has paralysis on her right side, was truly grateful to be able to snorkel together. I couldn't see any dolphins, whales, or turtles, not even a shadow or a hint of their presence, and I felt no motivation to search for them. The first snorkeling spot had hardly any fish, yet we were made to swim there for a long time. The second snorkeling spot was really great, but I got cold and tired from the first spot, so I ended up spending less time at the second one, which was disappointing. The hot dog for lunch had a sickly red sausage that was surprisingly bad, and I couldn't eat it. It was the worst hot dog I've ever had; I always thought you couldn't make a hot dog taste bad no matter how you prepared it, so I was shocked. There were no pineapples. The boat was simpler than I expected and rocked a lot, making it uncomfortable to ride. I thought the quality for this price was terrible.

I would not change one thing about this tour. It exceeded our expectations. the communication before the experience was excellent. Jason was an exceptional guide - so attentive! He is an expert in astronomy and Hawaiian history which we greatly enjoyed. He had a great telescope and a cool machine that takes pictures of celestial objects in the sky that he EVEN EMAILED TO US LATER! Just wow! The chicken stew was delicious too! This is my third manta tour, and each one has been different. This time, I felt the most at ease. Having support from Japanese staff was really helpful. The moment the manta appeared was truly breathtaking. However, it was quite cold during this season, and the return trip to the port was chilly, so those planning to go should prepare accordingly.

Right after we set off, we spotted a pod of dolphins near the exit from the port. They even showed us some jumps. We sailed south along the west coast of the Big Island to the Captain Cook landing site. While listening to explanations about the history of the Big Island, we were able to see the magnificent overall view of the island from the sea, which was quite enjoyable. I was surprised to see manta rays so close. I saw several of them, and their graceful movements as they surfaced and spun around to eat were beautiful and magical. It felt like I was in a dream world, and I could have watched them forever.

My two friends and teenage son went on this sunset sail and had an absolutely beautiful time. The sunset colors were stunning, and dolphins played along the bow of the boat as we were underway. It was magical! Crew was great. Drinks were yummy. It was a great thing to do on our last night in Hawaii. Highly recommend.
This was our third time on the Hani Olani catamaran, sunset cruise with our cousins. Each time has been a great experience. It’s great being barefoot on the deck of the catamaran makes serve drinks and food. The crew are always really nice and accommodating making us feel comfortable and treating us like royalty. It’s so beautiful to be out at sea and watch the sunset. It’s such a great surrounding. We highly recommend this excursion and most likely will do it again when we come back to the Big Island
We took this tour with Jason. It was amazing. Jason, a local, was fantastic. He was personable, engaging, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour, and Hawaiian culture and lifestyle. The views speak for themselves and are breathtaking.
Highly recommend this excursion to anyone who is interested in views, astronomy, and something different to do, when on vacation. I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and look forward to the next time.

We had a wonderful time at the luau, met nice people at our table as well. Was a little disappointed with the food as I was expecting a more traditionally cooked food. The entertainment was first class.
Overall we had a wonderful time and would do it again.
My husband, who experienced snorkeling for the first time, ranked the experience at Kealakekua Bay as the most enjoyable activity. Although he wasn't confident in swimming, he was able to borrow a float and easily swim to see the fish. It was great that there was no stress involved. I enjoyed diving from the second floor of the boat. Even though it was a jump into the sea from a height of 5 meters, it required courage. It became a wonderful memory for our sixtieth wedding anniversary trip. Thank you for your hospitality.

Gorgeous, unimaginably beautiful views. Very interesting and informative guided tour. Strenuous though, they warned us about the low oxygen and a couple people were visibly feeling ill. "Dinner" was hot but not very good (heavily salted vegetable lasagne).
My husband, adult daughter, and I had a spectacular time on this excursion. Our driver/guide/astronomy guru, Maka, was the lynch-pin of the whole experience. After seeing the beautiful sunset at the top, we scurried down to set up for our tour of the night sky. Maka has significant knowledge, a great sense of humor, and an amazing telescope! We all want a laser pointer now!! Fortunately, the three of us experienced only giddiness as an effect of the altitude…the three of us were silly and laughed so much. What a great memory! We had rented a Jeep for our week on the Big Island. Someone had suggested we were wasting our money going on a tour, rather than driving ourselves. But, though the tour was not inexpensive, it was worth every penny for the experience! Highly recommend!!
This hike adventure was awesome! The views at different stops along the way were just amazing. Our Guide Jon was great! He was a knowledgeable about so many things such as the local birds, plants and history of the area. Entering a lava tube that was hundreds of years old was interesting, and fun. Jon made sure our group remained safe and also had fun along the way. One has to experience this activity to really appreciate it! I would definitely recommend this activity.

Kona water is so clear we had wonderful views during this trip.
We had a great time on the Dinner Cruise. We were especially impressed when we received a call from Medina from the Body Glove office. She noticed that we stated we both had limited mobility when we registered, so she called to tell us we could park at the pier right across from the boat and arranged to have their crew unlock the gate for us when we arrived. This made it very easy to board. The crewmembers assisted my wife, who uses a walker, during boarding and when getting off the boat. Everyone on the crew was very warm and friendly. Service was excellent. Food was good. Entertainment was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this cruise and thank the folks at Body Glove for their kind assistance to both of us.

It was really fun to see the manta rays up close. It was a different kind of excitement compared to the Osaka Aquarium! Be careful as it can be tiring on your arms since you have to hold onto the pipe to watch.

Night snorkeling with the manta rays was incredible! We had a wonderful show from six different rays the entire time we were in the water. The guides were all very friendly and helpful. They assist with wetsuits before you board, then assist with masks onboard, and assist with floating noodles and less-experienced swimmers while in the water.
A word of warning - the water (and subsequently, the boat) were rolling intensely once we left the dock. And once you leave the dock, there is nowhere to go to get away from the rolling. Several individuals succumb to seasickness on our cruise. Not sure if maybe the ocean was just rough on our night, or if this amount of rocking is normal. Either way, I would advise caution if you are sensitive to motion sickness or vertigo.
