A Must do!

My husband and I were on our Honeymoon and were told you must go to the top of Haleakala to see the sunrise and do the bike tour down. We absolutely LOVED it! Everett our driver picked us up at 2:40am at our hotel- Ritz Carlton which was about an hour away from the office, he was so cheerful and so full of knowledge. He was AWESOME! I want to make sure everyone knows to be prepared to dress in warm clothes, it was FREEZING at the top of the volcano. Once the sun came up we then met up with Jesse and Ben who were our tour guides for the bike ride down and Jesse was a total comedian, so funny and made us laugh A LOT! You do not necessarily need to be a good bike rider as there is very little pedaling but I would suggest that you know how to balance on a bike and use the brakes as you do go FAST down the volcano unless you use the brakes accordingly. They were extremely helpful and I felt safe the entire time as they had a trailer follow us down the entire volcano. It was completely worth waking up so early to see the breathtaking sunrise above the clouds and bike down... A must do while in Maui!
