For about ten years, my mother and I have been visiting Hawaii almost every year, but this time we decided to try sailing for the first time and boarded the Mai Tai Catamaran, which departs near our hotel. I used to stay at the Sheraton, so I often saw it, but I never thought to ride it... For some reason, I was curious this time and decided to give it a try, and it was so much fun! I wish I had done this every year. As mentioned in other reviews, there were very few Japanese people on board. Besides us, there was only one couple, and the rest were from various countries, which made it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively! My mother doesn't speak English, but she had a great time getting wet and laughing with someone from another country who was sitting across from us, using gestures to communicate. It was refreshing to look at the city of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea and feel the ocean breeze. We also saw sea turtles. The duration of the trip was just right. I read in other reviews that it was good to bring less luggage, so I tried to minimize what I brought. Before boarding, they took our picture, which we could purchase on the way back for $20. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money to buy it, and that's the only regret I have.

10年程前からほぼ毎年ハワイに母娘で訪れていたのですが、今回初めてセーリングをしてみようと思い、ホテル近くから出航するマイタイ・カタマラン号に乗りました。昔、シェラトンを利用していたので、よく見かけていたのですが、乗ってみようと思うことがなく・・・。なぜか今回気になって乗ってみたら、とっても楽しくて、これなら毎年乗ればよかったと思いました。他の方の口コミにもありましたが、日本人は少ないです。私達の他に、1組カップルの方がいたくらいで、他は国際色豊かでした。それが、また楽しかったですね。ノリがいいので！母は英語が話せませんが、向かいに座った違う国の方と共に濡れて、一緒に笑ってジェスチャーを交えて楽しそうでした。海からワイキキの街やダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めて、海風を感じて爽快でした。あと、ウミガメも見れました。時間もちょうどいい長さでした。他の方の口コミで、荷物を少なくして乗船したと記載されてたので、持ち物を極力少なくして行ったら、乗る前に写真を撮ってくれて、帰るときに購入できるのですが・・・20ドル。持ってなくて買えませんでした。それだけが心残りでした。

We participated in this cruise as the start of my cousin's bachelor party and boy what a great way to start it out! The catamaran was so cool, there was plenty of room for everyone, the staff was helpful and very friendly, and the views were breathtaking. We even saw a sea turtle at the end! The staff made it so fun and made some pretty good drinks to boot. The appetizers were not great, but that is not why we were on the cruise. It was a relaxing and easy cruise right off the pier and around Diamond Head. The sunset views were beautiful. I would highly recommend taking a sunset Waikiki Sail on the Spirit of Aloha.

I was looking forward to the meal before the show based on the reviews, but it was disappointing. ⤵ The seating during the show was good and easy to see, but the development of the one-hour show was lacking and I got bored.

ショータイムも席は見やすく良い席でしたが1時間程のショーの展開がイマイチであきてしまいます。

It is located on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center. There is a ticket counter where you can give your name and receive your tickets.

You can choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There are smoothies and other options, and since the air conditioning is a bit strong, it might be a good idea to bring a light jacket.

We happened to have seats in the center, but I think you can still enjoy it even from the side seats, as Mr. Presley might come to you as well.

ロイヤルハワイアンセンターの4階にあります。
チケット売り場があるので名前をいい、チケットを受け取ります。

ドリンクはアルコールとノンアルコールが選べます。
スムージーとそうでないものがあり、少し空調が効いているので薄手の上着を持っていくといいかもしれません。

私達はたまたまセンターの席でしたが、端の席でもプレスリーさんが来てくれたりするので充分楽しめると思います。

We had a great time on the boat with our two kids and baby. They lived seeing the fish and turtles through the glass. The captain and his mate were very friendly. We would do this again!

We participated as a couple. We were the only Japanese people there. The explanation was only in English, but it was sufficient. The snorkeling lasted about 30 minutes, which was enough for us. The yacht ride afterwards was very refreshing with the splashes of water. Riding on the yacht became a great memory. The captain was really cool. It departs from Waikiki and returns in the morning, so I recommend it.

シュノーケリングは30分位でしたが、私達には十分でした。
そのあとのヨットは波しぶきをあげて、とても気持ち良かったです。
ヨットに乗れたことがいい思い出になりました。すごくかっこいいキャプテンでした。
ワイキキから出発で午前には帰るのでおすすめです。

Saw this performance with my teen age daughter. It was a great show and we both enjoyed it. It was a fun night out in Waikiki. The dancers are the best part in my opinion. Elvis has strong vocals. Good band too. Excellent stage show - very entertaining. The food was great - my steak was cooked perfectly. Beautiful presentation. Even my picky daughter liked the food and tried the lobster. We had great seats - center stage up front. Everyone was very welcoming and the wait staff attentive. The drinks are quite tasty and pretty potent. We did the VIP package and the welcome mai tai was delicious. I'm glad we went.

Expected the glass to be under our feet but we had to get up and look through box, it was ok

It was a fun show that I would like to attend again. However, while they did their best, the singing ability of each performer didn't quite match the real thing, and since I was imagining the originals, I felt a bit unsatisfied. Video recording was not allowed, but taking photos was okay.

また行きたいと思う楽しいショーでした。ただ頑張っておられましたが各歌手の歌唱力がさすがに本物に及ばず、本物をイメージして鑑賞しているだけに少し物足りなさを感じてしまいました。動画はダメですが写真撮影はオッケーでした

This cruise was the perfect length for those with children. Wesaw a turtle and a pod of dolphins!!! Our family was very excited and loved the snorkeling!! Very reasonably priced for this experience

We had a fabulous time on our snorkel sail. Loved the convenience of being able to walk to the boat launch, and the crew (including check-in personnel) were warm and welcoming. We were elated and surprised to be greeted by a pod of spinner dolphin as we sailed out off of Waikiki -- an unusual sight! -- and my kids were thrilled to watch them racing the boat. The snorkeling itself was great...not a ton of different types of fish, but we saw a half-dozen sea turtles and a couple of eels (COMPLETELY worth the trip). Our guides even found a small octopus for us to ogle!

Free snacks (chips) are provided, and water, beer, soda, and cocktails are available to purchase. They snorkel and mask they provided us were good quality with no issues. (No fins though, so if you have your own set you might want to bring them.) Highly recommended! We will be repeating the experience the next time we are on Oahu.

On our last night in Waikiki, my husband and I participated in this event. First, we were welcomed with a welcome drink and entered the venue. We had about 90 minutes for dinner, which allowed us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Lobster, salmon, and steak were served. The taste was just okay. Next, the show began, featuring Hawaiian hula dancing, fire dancing, and impersonation acts, all accompanied by a Hawaiian band. There were many foreign participants, and I thought that if you don't understand English, it might be difficult to grasp what was being said. However, it was a lively and enjoyable time.

ワイキキ最後の夜に、夫婦二人で参加しました。まず、ウェルカムドリンクでおもてなしを受け、会場に入ります。食事の時間が90分程度あり、ゆっくりいただけました。ロブスターやサーモン、ステーキが出てきます。お味はまあまあといったところでした。次にショーが始まり、ハワイのバンドの演奏に合わせて、ハワイアンのフラダンスやファイヤーダンス、ものまねショーが見られます。外国の方の参加が多く、英語がわからないと何を言っているのか理解できないこともあると思いました。しかし、賑やかで楽しいひと時でした。

The glass bottom boat was a great experience that didnt break the bank. The tour guides were friendly, casual, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended for a chill day out on the water.

The music was playing, and it looked like so much fun! I sat in the front. When the waves came, I got completely soaked, and we all got really excited! I took pictures with people nearby. If I could speak English, I might have been able to communicate more. I want to ride again when I come back to Hawaii. Thank you!

音楽が流れ、楽しそう❗️前の方に乗りました。波がきたら、全身ずぶ濡れで、キャアキャア盛り上がりました(^^)
近くの方と写真撮りました。英語が出来たらもっとコミニケーションできたのかも。

My son and his friends said this was one of their highlights, only second to renting scooters but they are just 21:). Thanks for making their time memorable!

I often stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village, but I had never seen a luau before and experienced it for the first time. The meal was a buffet with a variety of dishes, and it was delicious and filling. The luau show was also great.

There is a recommendation to arrive 10 minutes early, but it takes about 40 minutes from the start of admission to completion, and since it’s still sunny at that time, if you go too early, it can be hot and the wait time is long. I felt there was no need to rush.

ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジにはよく泊まるのですが
ルアウは見たことがなく、初めて体験しました。
食事はビュッフェ形式でいろいろなメニューがあり
おいしくお腹いっぱいになりました。
ルアウショーも良かったです。

会場には10分前に来るように案内がありますが
入場を開始してから完了するまで40分ぐらいかかり、
まだ日も照っている時間なので早く行くと暑くて待ち時間が長いです。
急いで行く必要はないと思いました。

In addition to the star-studded stage, there were beautiful hula performances, impressive fire dances, and the food was delicious! My elementary school daughters also enjoyed it.

スターのステージに加え、華やかなフラ、迫力あるファイヤーダンス、お料理も美味しいです！小学生の娘達も楽しんでました。

I was well taken care of in Hawaii during my meals! I enjoyed the drinks and food, and since I have weak legs, they helped me carry things and I also enjoyed dancing! The hula show was more than enough! The performances by Presley and other activities were wonderful and captivating. This year, I also got to see the fire dance for the first time! I'm looking forward to putting the photos I purchased in my album. I will visit again next year. Please continue to provide wonderful shows!

I was able to enjoy a spectacular fire dance. The large circle that matched the visuals in the background was also impressive. I definitely want to recommend this to anyone going to Honolulu. The food was delicious, and it was a wonderful entertainment experience that kept us entertained during mealtime.

豪快なファイヤーダンスも楽しむことができました。後ろの映像とマッチングしているところも見ごたえのある大きなが円で良かったです。是非ともホノルルへ行く人にも勧めたいと思います。食事もおいしく、食事時間にも楽しませてくれる大変良いエンタテイメンントで素晴らしかったです。

All in all a fantastic experience, well organised and the hosts were very engaging and knew thier stuff. Would highly recommend and would also go again or one of there other experiences. Thanks guys.

I was able to fully enjoy the ocean in Honolulu. The weather was great, and we had plenty of time for snorkeling, followed by a fun cruise. I even encountered the turtles I wanted to meet, which made it a wonderful experience. If I have the chance again, I would definitely like to participate.

ホノルルの海を満喫できました。
天気も良く、シュノーケルの時間もたっぷりあり、その後のクルージングも楽しかったです。
出会いたかった亀にも遭遇でき、大変楽しめました。

We traveled with a 3-year-old child and my grandfather, so I made a reservation for some beach activities. The check-in was along the beach under the blazing sun... we arrived too early and the sunlight was intense! But the pier to the boat! My spirits were lifted!!

I was told to stay outside if I wanted to hear explanations in Japanese, and there was one Japanese crew member, so I felt reassured about the language barrier!

As soon as we set off, we saw small fish and even a sea turtle in the shallow waters, and the sea breeze was refreshing! It was a quick hour, but I was very satisfied.

However, since the time was short and we were on the boat, I thought alcohol might not be necessary. If there was an option for just soft drinks, I would have preferred that!

3歳前の子供と爺と３世代で旅行をしたので海遊びに予約しておきました。
受け付けは炎天下のビーチ沿いで・・・早く着きすぎて日差しが強かった～
でも、船までの桟橋！テンション回復！！
日本語で説明が聞きたい場合は中に入らず外にいて！っと声を掛けられ
クルーに日本人が１人いるので言葉の面でも安心！
出発してから、すぐの浅瀬で小魚がいたりウミガメが見えたり海風も爽やかっ！
あっという間の１時間でしたが大満足です

しかし、時間も短いし船の上ということからアルコールはいらないかも。
ソフトドリンクのみの料金がでるなら、そちらでもよかったと思いました☆彡

I'm 56 years old, but I don't know Elvis from his peak years, I just met Michael, and I have no idea about Katy. However, including the Hawaiian part, it was a lot of fun.

We started with cocktails and then enjoyed a meal while chatting. I thought, "This tastes familiar," and it might be from STAR of Honolulu?

All the performers put in a lot of effort, entertaining the audience. Since our seats were close, we could even hear their breathing. It was very powerful. There were many Japanese people, so maybe they made the English jokes easier to understand?

My husband and I are beginners who are totally hooked on Hawaii (this is our third time in three consecutive years). It was our first time at a typical Hawaiian show, and we had a great time; the time flew by.

Being from the countryside, I'm not used to entertainment itself, so I might find everything "amazing."

いい歳（56歳）ですが、エルビスは若い頃のピークを知らず、マイコーはジャストミート、ケイティーはさっぱりわからず。でもハワイアンも含めて、とても楽しかったです。
カクテルからスタートしてワイワイ言いながら食事へ、「どこかで食べたようなと思ったら」STAR of Honolulu？かな。
出演者みんな一生懸命のパフォーマンスで、観客を楽しませてくれます。席が近いので、皆さんの息遣いまで聞こえます。迫力満点です。日本人が多いので英語のジョークもわかりやすく言ってくれてるのかな？
私たち夫婦は、ハワイ・どハマリ初心者（3年連続3回目）です、ベタなハワイのショーが初めてでしたが普通に楽しく、時間の過ぎるのもすごく早く感じました。
田舎者なので、Entertainmentそのものに慣れてなくて、何でも「スゴイ」と感じているかもです。

I boarded the ship alone.

Since I occasionally get motion sickness, I took some anti-nausea medication 30 minutes before boarding (I wanted to enjoy the trip).

I checked in at a small booth next to the Sheraton Hotel. I think just saying my name was enough to complete the check-in.

We gathered near the catamaran and then lined up for a photo. (Afterward, they were selling the photos for about 2,000 yen. I wish that was included in the tour price.) I didn't understand anything during the English explanation, but it was fine. After the photo session, we took off our sandals and boarded the ship. The side we boarded was the direction we were heading (front). I placed my bag behind a chair, but I hope that was okay.

There were no Japanese people on board. Everyone else was families or couples.

It was fine to wear a swimsuit.

They played reggae and other music, which felt nice. I think Mai Tais were sold for around 500 yen. I believe there were beers available too.

The captain had a great vibe. He interacted with other guests, but since I was alone, he asked me where I was from, which made me happy. Because of that, a group of young men and women sitting next to me spoke to me in Japanese. I made friends, even if just for the trip.

A man who had come by boat from quite far away (maybe he was an acquaintance of the captain?) was lounging on an air sofa, floating. (What a luxurious way to spend time!) I felt like the scene of the captain tossing a can of beer was very American!

We moved quite far from Waikiki Beach. I was moved by the sight. I love the ocean, and I almost cried... haha.

If you sit on the side you boarded (the front), you'll get splashed by waves along the way. Kids and young people were having fun. The passengers were all getting excited together. If you don't want to get wet, please be careful.

The sea breeze felt really nice, and I almost fell asleep on the way back.

I decided that I will definitely ride again when I go to Hawaii. I could ride every day. Next time, I want to try the sunset cruise too.

たまに車酔いをする方なので、
乗船30分前に念のため(楽しみたいので)酔い止め薬を飲みました。

シェラトンホテル脇の小屋？で受付。
名前を言うだけでチェックインが済んだ気がします。

カタマランが止まっている近くに集合し、そのあとに一列に並び写真を撮ってもらいます。
（終わったあとに確か2,000円ぐらいで販売していました。ツアー代金に含まれて入れば良いのになぁ。）
英語の説明を受けてもなにも分かりませんでしたが大丈夫でした。
撮影が終わると、サンダルを脱いで乗船。
登った側が進行方向(前)＊です。
荷物は適当に椅子の後ろに入れましたが大丈夫だったのかな？

日本人はゼロ。
全員ファミリーやカップルでした。

水着でも大丈夫でしたよ。

レゲエなど音楽がかかって気持ちが良いです。
マイタイは500円ぐらいで販売していた気がします。
ビールもあった気がします。

キャプテンのノリが良かったです。
他のお客さんにも声をかけていていましたが、私は一人での乗船でしたので、どこから来たの〜？と、声をかけてくれました。嬉しかったです。
それもあり、隣に座っていた歳の近い男女グループが日本語で話しかけてくれました。
旅の間だけですが友達も出来ました。

ビーチからかなり離れたところに船で乗って来た男性(キャプテンの知り合いだったのか？)がエアソファーに寝転び、浮いていました。(すごい贅沢な過ごし方！)
キャプテンが缶ビールをおすそ分けで投げている光景がアメリカっぽい〜〜‼︎‼︎と感じました。

ワイキキビーチから結構離れていきます。
なんだかその光景に感動。
海が大好きなので涙ぐみました…。笑

登った側・進行方向(前)＊に座ると、途中でスプラッシュ！といって波がかかります。
子どもから若者が楽しんでいました。割と乗客みんなで盛り上がります。
濡れたくない方は気を付けてくださいね。

海風が本当に気持ちよくて帰りに寝そうになりました。

またハワイに行ったら必ず乗ろうと決めました。
毎日乗っても良いかも。次はサンセットクルーズも乗りたいです。

Competent crew and very friendly. Website preparation is excellent.

The captain and crew mate were excellent. They were having fun and clearly love their jobs. We had a great time and got to see beautiful sights.

My husband and I were looking for a night out and this fit the bill. Our service was the best of the several excursions we have taken while here. The food was good and was cooked at our request to my personal liking. The show itself was very good which continually moved forward with good timing. The only negative I found was we sometimes lost the vocals, my husband thought is was probably due to our location in the room, which was on the floor directly in front of and below the stage. Dispite this it was an excellent show.

Fantastic experience with a first rate crew. Well worth the value for three hours of snorkeling, sea turtles, spinner dolphins, colorful fish, and great sailing. Crew put safety first and had fun with everyone on the boat. Would go back in a heartbeat! My nine year old says this was her best experience of the vacation!! Thanks to the Holokai crew!

This was my second time participating, and it was so much fun that I brought a friend who was visiting Hawaii for the first time.

At the Terrace Luau, there was a whole roasted pig, and all the Hawaiian dishes were delicious.

It seems that the content of the show is constantly changing, so I never got bored.

About 90% of the participants seemed to be Japanese, but Katy Perry wasn't very well-known among the older audience and didn't get much of a reaction.

Michael Jackson and Elvis were, of course, very well-known and received a great response.

We got to see both hula and fire dancing, and everyone in my group was very satisfied. They said the one-hour show flew by.

I would like to participate again when I visit Hawaii next time.

ハワイ料理も美味しいものばかりでした。

ショーの内容は、どんどん以前と
変化しているようで
見飽きませんんでした。

参加者は９割がた日本人のようでしたが
ケイティー・ペリーは年配者の方には
知名度が低くてあまりウケませんでした。

マイケルジャクソンとエルビスは
さすがによく知られているので
大ウケでした。

フラもファイヤーダンスも見られて
同行者はみんな大満足。
1時間のショーがあっという間だったと
言っていました。

また渡ハしたときは、参加したいと思います。
