アラモアナサンセットドライブを楽しみにしていたのですがきれいな夕焼けにならず残念でした。まぁ自然のことなので仕方ないですが。この日は道路が大渋滞で一周約６０分のところ９０分かかりました。ディナーの予約等されている方は注意です。
ダウンタウン方面を巡るマラマライン、以前（５年前）と大分ルートが変わっていました。カメハメハ大王像、出雲大社は以前は「車窓より見学」でしたが今回は下車しての写真タイムがあったのが良かったです。

運転手の方は生粋の日本人でしたが早口で滑舌もそこまでよくないので、聞こえにくいと他の方も言ってましたが「これくらいのスピードでしゃべらないと話すことが沢山あるので。私の出身地ではこれくらいが普通です。どこ出身ですか？‥あぁ、○○地方はゆっくりですからね」と悪びれる様子も改善もなく逆にお客さんをバカにするような発言。最後まで聞きづらかったです。
しかも、最後にチップは○%くらいですね、まぁそれ以下でも構いませんが、とチップ額を強制してくる始末。
聞こえないのはストレスになるので、もしこのガイドさんに当たったときに備えて前方席を狙ってください。

海沿いのドライブが多く、左側は山ばかりで全然楽しくない。

My husband and I recently booked the tickets and shuttle to hike Diamond Head as I was reading how you had to have reservations to hike unless you are local. This is a change since the first time I hiked it when you didn’t have to make reservations. We also didn’t rent a car this visit, so the shuttle was perfect as it dropped us off and picked us up at a designated time. We were given tips on the way there as well as instructions how to make the hike more enjoyable. I highly recommend going with this company as you have three times to choose from to be picked up without the dynamics of reserving tickets or driving there or finding parking which is limited. The shuttle takes you as close to the trailhead as possible
There was a bit of an internal mistake with the tour company, and the guide seemed to have a tough time, but the participants were able to enjoy themselves.

Our tour guide “D” was so friendly, kind, informative, and very considerate. We had many stops for different tastes of Hawaii. The tasting started with Malasadas from the Leonard’s food truck. We also stopped at a macadamia nut farm that also had this sweet little pearl shop where I bought gifts for my daughters and myself. The best part for me was when we stopped at a beach to try and see turtles and my family did spot some playful ones! We stopped and had garlic shrimp for lunch which was delicious and filling and we ended the day shopping in Haleiwa Town. I think we stopped at like 3 beaches and the Blowhole. It was a whirlwind and a little taste of everything!
We enjoyed the malasadas that the guide purchased while looking at the ocean, and there were plenty of activities like tastings and photo opportunities at the stops. Everyone praised the garlic shrimp as delicious. This tour is highly recommended as a one-day course to fully experience the essence of Hawaii.

練習を始めてすぐに私と妻はセグウェイ自体は6回目なのですぐにOKが出て次は初セグウェイの甥！
それでもガイドさんの的確なアドバイスと丁寧な説明でものの数分でスイスイと乗れていました。
その後、少し年配の方も練習していましたが結構短時間で乗れていました。
練習が終わるとガイドさんを先頭に年配の方、甥、妻、私の順にライド開始！
セグウェイで走ると風がめちゃくちゃ気持ちいい！！
要所要所で撮影もしてくれて甥も喜んでいました。
最後にカカアコウォーターフロントパークの広場で自由ライド！

が、マノア方面から雨雲が近づいて来ていたので心配していたのですがとうとう降って来ました。
ポンチョを着るほどの雨ではなかったものの強く振りそうなのと風が強く寒くなって来たので撤退です。
ゆっくりと帰れなかったのは少し残念でしたがそれを差し引いてもやはりセグウェイは最高です！
普段あまり感情を出さない甥も次もまた乗りたい！！

It was an amazing day! I was lucky to see both seals and turtles. It was a rare experience to enjoy food unique to Hawaii. The garlic shrimp was incredibly delicious!
