Great time! Best luau experience! The family was incredible! Husband said it was the best pulled pork he has ever eaten!

We had a great time, celebrated our anniversary! The family that hosted the luau was wonderful and we were impressed with every aspect of the luau. If you are staying on Waikiki beach, be prepared for an hour drive to get there. We didn’t account for that length of time so we didn’t get to appreciate the hiking available beforehand.

I participated in a Hawaiian show in Hawaii that I was looking forward to with my wife.

The meeting place and schedule were as planned, and they provided transportation by bus without any issues.

The local Hawaiian show, including hula dancing and fire dancing, was so much fun!!

However, there was no Japanese announcement on-site, so I couldn't keep up with the vibe. There were hardly any Japanese people there. If I could speak a little more English, I think I would have enjoyed it more and been able to communicate with the people at my table!

Love the show!

The host was funny and great knowledge about his own culture and traditions. It’s our first time so I wouldn’t be able to compare with other Luau. The show was about the different Polynesian cultures dance so just not only about the fire dance that gets everyone excited. It shows you the dance and the cultures. The Waimea fall is not flowing right now secondary the drought, ( last time occurred in 1992) so my family was little disappointed that couldn’t see the fall and swim in the pond. Look at bright side, this doesn’t happen all the time and I got to see a waterfall without water. Wished there was some warning ahead and I would have planned differently. Otherwise it was still a nice trail for family to walk.

Amazing time with the family!

My whole family loved this luau! The fact that it also includes entry to the park is a steal; it's beautiful! Our host was very funny and personable. I loved that they have cultural activities like showing the people attending the luau how to open coconuts, and weave leaves into a headband. The food was good, and the host was giving special shoutouts to people who were celebrating things like anniversaries, graduations, etc. The people who were doing the dances did great! Even my sister that's 3 years old was super entertained. You really get a family feel at this luau; shoutout to the 9-year old kid who was doing some fire dancing as well! It was awesome and I definitely prefer giving my money here than some random resort doing shows. The vibe is 10/10!

The friendly staff and outgoing nature of the performers kept my husband and I engaged and satisfied the entire time! Great outdoor space for the little ones! Can’t beat the view!!! Definitely worth the trip to roam the legendary grounds of The Royal Hawaiian.

Get there early for sure. Games and activities were fun. Make sure to watch the pig coming out of the ground! Food was good but not great but the show during and after dinner was really good. Left there not regretting spent the money.

I reserved a front-row seat. The host only spoke in English, so I couldn't understand anything they were saying... but I knew this in advance and could get the vibe, so I accepted that. The problem was the food.

After the drinks were served, the appetizer? It was served in a bento box-like container, and it was bad. Then we were served a plate with a mix of chicken, beef, and pork. Not many people around me finished their meals. We paid nearly 100,000 yen for this meal. What a letdown. The show itself was only good during the last 15 minutes. I was glued to the fire dance, but before that, it was a bit dull.

I booked this hoping my kids, who are visiting Hawaii for the first time, would feel the essence of Hawaii, but I'm not sure if it was worth the hefty price.

A great experience for the whole family. The show had a variety of dances and songs; and the performers were great. Also, being right on the beach with the sunsetting over the water and the lights of the cityscape in the night sky, it made for some beautiful pictures. We would definitely do it again.

I didn't have any concerns about infection since we were all facing the same direction watching the show or eating quietly. When you show your voucher at the entrance, you receive a card. The card has $20 loaded onto it, which can be used for drinks or shopping at the concession stand. You can enjoy some leisurely activities while waiting for the show to start, like riding in a canoe. The teriyaki chicken was delicious.

A Hawaii "must do"!

A cultural and historical event that any and every visitor to Hawaii should experience at least once. Not only is it a smooth operating show, but they did an outstanding job of explaining the historical reasoning behind everything.

The food was great and the hospitality was first class. Their location on the north side of the island was amazing and a counterpoint to the the South side. There's also the added benefit of being just down the road from famous Sunset Beach!

We booked a shuttle to and from the Luau and paid for the Standard Package. This set up was perfect. The shuttle boarding was organized, spotless, and new. Our guide filled us in on expectations of the ride and luau. There were funny stories/laughter/entertainment on the bus. The luau was exceptional, professional, very well organized and laid out. Something for everyone. The dancing/singing was fantastic, everyone could see the open air stage from their seats, food was fantastic and lots of it. Drinks were aplenty, beautiful backstage for pictures either by a professional for purchase or your selfie.
I would absolutely take this again and recommend it to everyone!

The grounds are beautiful, but it was just an average experience in our opinion. This luau show itself was low energy and our bus leader was on the over stressed and anxious side. The pre show had all sorts of activities going on that made the experience more enjoyable for anyone with kiddos. The lines for drinks were plentiful and went very well. The buffet food lines seemed to be going in the wrong or opposite direction, as one had to traverse everyone in line with a full plate of food.

My overall experience at this resort was that it was a beautiful place to enjoy and experience laughter, family, love and great music. The resort overall was beautiful sensory with singing and luau dancers dancing next to the ocean. There were items that we didn’t like for example the food. The food was cold and very uncomfortable unclean. What I mean by this is that it was more like a buffet before COVID was established., no one was serving our food and we had to serve ourselves, just a recipe for disaster. Our seating arrangements at the luau were very confusing too, we given a guide to seat us, to sit us by a number system arranged on the tables., with the number of people at this luau their so be a better system on how they seat people for a better experience.

Loved the activity! The travel was not too long. Food was really good and we could go for seconds. I got the VIP package and it was definitely worth it because it gets you closer to the stage, two framed photos to take back home as well as 3 comp drinks and some additional swag. Overall it was a great experience, the show went on longer than expected but we were okay with it. Highly recommend!

From 5-645 you just check out some activities that they have. Its a sand beach so wear appropriate shoes. Meal is ok and entertainment is good. I feel they should get a better description of the evening.

Beautiful area, white tablecloths.....table for two, which was the best. Food was so delicious and the service was outstanding.....our waiter was the BEST! Loves his job and does an outstanding job of it. Enjoyed the show and hearing about the history of Hawaii....everything was PERFECT.
