The luau itself was amazing. My family and I enjoyed participating in the pre show activities while learning about true polynesian culture and traditions. It's a smaller luau with only about 200 guests but with the smaller number of patrons you really get to interact and learn from everyone involved.
The host for the activities, Uncle Bob, has a great sense of humor as do the men that do the "cooking" and food prep demonstrations. These men are no joke, they even climbed up the coconut trees. They teach you about a traditional tribe welcoming and uses the guests to act as the tribes while explaining the rituals associated with welcoming guests to their community.
Not a huge selection of foods to sample but everything there was delicious. Kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, macaroni salad, green salad with macadamia nuts, rice, rolls, chantilly cake from Teds Bakery and a coconut type of jello dessert.
The family band that played music during dinner was Amazing. Those kids can really sing! The dancing was very traditional, not just girls in coconut bras and hula skirts, but real polynesian dancing showcasing dances from a variety of the polynesian islands. I was a VIP guest and we were right at eye level with the stage but it looked like most people would have quite a good view of the stage. We also got to go to the buffet first and got great souvenirs. My husband and I got hand fans, my son got a wooden Maui-type hook necklace and my daughter got a wood beaded bracelet that said Hawaii with hibiscus flowers printed on it. After dinner and show on your way out you were able to speak more with the staff and dancers and take pictures with them.
If it was your birthday we all sang happy birthday and you got an extra piece of cake, if it was your anniversary or honeymoon they brought you onstage for a slow dance and gave you a nut lei.
All this plus you get entry into the Waimea valley where you can swim in a waterfall and see beautiful trees and foliage!

During our first trip to Hawaii, we decided to sign up for a Hawaiian show. We went in early June, and since it was in the evening, the sun was still shining when we were shown to our seats, which were directly in the sunlight. There was nothing to block the sun, so the seats that weren't in the shade (the ones directly in front of the stage) were extremely hot until the sun went down. Fortunately, we were seated in a shaded area, which was a relief.

The meal was a buffet, and since many people were going to get food, I was a bit worried about whether there would be enough left. However, it turned out fine. (There was a system in place where the area for getting food was determined, and you couldn't go up to get food unless you were called by the staff.)

We enjoyed the event even from our seats that weren't directly in front, and the dancing was wonderful. The male hula dancers were incredibly impressive and surprised us.

On the way back, we were able to take photos with the dancers in the lobby, which made for a great memory for us, as we had never seen authentic hula before.

行ったのは6月上旬、夕方からなのでまだ陽も落ちてなくて座席に通される時間帯は日差し直撃。
特にさえぎる物もないため、陰になっていない席（ステージ正面席）は陽が落ちるまでは暑さ地獄。幸運にも横っちょの陰の席だったので助かりました。
食事はビュッフェで、かなりの人が取りにいくので「残っているのかなぁ～」と少々不安ではありましたが、大丈夫でした。（ビュッフェを取りにいくエリア順が決まったいました。ボーイさんからそのエリアへ声がかからないと勝手に取りにいってはいけない仕組みでした）
イベント自体は正面席でなくても十分に楽しめましたし、踊りも素晴らしかったです。男性フラが迫力満点で驚きました。
帰りには、ロビーで踊り子さんたちと写真が撮れましたし、
一度も本場のフラを見たことない私たちにとってはとても良い思い出になりました。

It rained during the day, so we were indoors after it got dark. The location is a bit hard to find, so it’s better to arrive early. I reserved a golden seat, but it was positioned too far to the side from the stage, and the angle was blocked by equipment like speakers, which was a bit disappointing. It was a buffet style, but if you miss the timing, there can be a long line, and some items run out quickly. I read in other reviews that golden seat guests had priority, but it seemed like regular ticket holders were the first to grab food, and we followed after them. The taste was generally good.

The Toa Luau was a great first luau for our family (30 to 60 year olds). Waimea Valley itself is beautiful; definitely come at least 2 hours early to be able to walk to the waterfall and enjoy the scenery. The pre-luau activities like weaving grass head bands, husking coconuts etc were fun. The show itself was fantastic too - they performed authentic ceremonies and dances from different Polynesian islands. The host was hilarious! Only slight downside was the food was only mediocre. We are all vegetarian and our main entree was bland quinoa; but we were happy there was even a vegetarian option (you have to request ahead of time though). Overall this luau is definitely worth it and we will recommend it to all of our family and friends!!

I reserved the front row guaranteed seats. We arrived around 16:40, but there were already about 15 people in line. We didn't know where the entrance was and ended up walking all the way around the Hilton, so I recommend getting there as early as possible! The show is definitely worth it. The muscular men are mesmerizing. I especially recommend taking videos of the fire show and the finale so you can look back at them later. It's better not to have high expectations for the buffet. We didn't have much of an appetite due to jet lag, so we just had a light meal and then relaxed at the bar afterward. There are other luaus, but this one is calm and I recommend it for travelers who don't have much time!

Since it was a trip to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, we booked the Diamond Seat. The front row center seat was impressive. I'm glad we chose the Diamond option. The meal was a buffet, and while it wasn't exceptionally delicious, it was decent. There was also a separate dessert buffet with pineapple cake and fruits. Each person received three drink tickets, but we couldn't use them all. The performers engaged with the audience, calling out to people and dancing on stage, which made it lively and interactive. After leaving the venue, we were able to take photos with the performers (no tips required).

Negative points: The meeting location had changed. It would have been helpful to have directional signs along the way to reach the location. I felt anxious while searching around.

We participated as a family of four adults and two children (both girls, 8 years old). We drove there with a rental car, and the location was easy to find. Having participated in several similar activities before, we decided to choose this one because it seemed like there wouldn't be many Japanese people. Indeed, we hardly saw any Japanese, and we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of being abroad. I don't speak much English, but I didn't have any trouble communicating, and both the activities and the meals were great. The children were able to participate in most of the activities and seemed to have a lot of fun.

The venue is on the rooftop of the 6th floor, and every visitor is given a fresh flower lei, which you can take back to Japan. Perhaps due to the large number of attendees, the weather was not particularly bad, but the event was held in an indoor facility adjacent to the outdoor venue. However, the indoor space was equipped with better lighting and facilities, which made the show even more enjoyable than it might have been outdoors.

Additionally, the fire dance was performed in a small courtyard area just outside the indoor venue. We were able to stand up from our seats and surround the performers, allowing us to see them up close and truly enjoy the experience.

The night started great with the friendly, funny driver and host. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. Paradise Cove is one of the most beautiful locations i have ever been to. All the activities before the show were fun! I loved that i was able to use my cove card at the marketplace. All the staff was so friendly and the dinner was delicious! I purchased The deluxe package which included GREAT seats and table service so i didn't even have to get up for anything. The waiters were very attentive and kept making sure i was doing ok. The show was the best luau performance i have ever seen! The performers did an AWESOME job! I will definitely attend the luau next time i come to Hawaii.

I felt like I finally stepped out into the world since there were hardly any Japanese people around. The pre-show activities were fulfilling in a compact area. A wonderful dancer introduced Hawaii up close. The show was, of course, great, but the bus ride back was also so enjoyable thanks to the guide's performance that I couldn't even sleep!

This was our first time in Oahu and first time at a Luau. Highly recommend Toa
Luau. We arrived a few hours early since ticket includes admission to the Waimea Valley Gardens and Falls. Bring swimsuits and take a dip into the waterfalls at the end of the valley! We walked back to the Luau in time for the fun activities and 'pre-Luau' events includes crafts. We attended as a couple but this would be wonderful for families. The Luau then began with an amazing show complete with dancing and fire! Cousin Billy our host was entertaining and hospitable--the entire experience has a 'family' welcoming vibe. The food was good with a variety of choices. Because we were on our honeymoon Cousin Bill called up all the anniversaries/honeymoon couples for a special gift and blessing which was so special to us. We would definitely return this time with our family! Great job Toa Luau we'll be back!

There were many types of food available to fill up before the show, and I was quite satisfied. The show included audience participation events, creating a friendly atmosphere. The singing and hula were fantastic, and the fire dance brought everything to a climax. It was an incredibly enjoyable evening.

I took advantage of the long holiday to travel to Hawaii. While looking for optional activities, I found Paradise Cove in Ko Olina, where you can enjoy an authentic luau, and I signed up out of curiosity. On the day of the event, when I arrived 30 minutes before the opening, there were already many people lined up. Once the doors opened, we received a welcome drink (either alcoholic or soft drink) and were greeted with leis as we entered. After that, they reserved seats for us from the front. I understood the meaning of lining up. You can enjoy activities until the meal. Everyone gathers at the sound of the conch shell. Even if you don't understand the language, you can have fun. By the way, there were no Japanese people there today. It really felt like being in a foreign country! The meal is served buffet-style, and you can also enjoy traditional whole roasted pig. The show is amazing. It's different from any hula or luau I've seen before. You definitely have to try it!!

連休を利用してハワイ旅行に行きました。オプショナルを探していたところコオリナに本物のルアウを堪能できるパラダイスコーブがあることを知り興味本位に申し込みをしました。申し込みの日、開場の30分前に行くともう大勢の人が並んでいました。開場が始まりウエルカムドリンク(アルコールかソフトドリンク)をいただきレイの歓迎を受け入場しました。その後、席の場所を前の方から予約してくれます。列ぶ意味がわかりました。食事までアクティビティを楽しめます。ホラガイの音に皆集まります。言葉がわからなくても楽しめました。ちなみに今日は日本人は一人もいませんでした。外国に来たってかんじですか！食事はバイキング方式で伝統の豚の丸焼きも食べれます。ショーは最高です。今まで見たフラ、ルアウと一味違います。ぜひご賞味あれ！！

We attended with seven family members in the Diamond Seat. The price is high, but the major benefits are being able to watch the show from the front row and having priority access to the buffet. The buffet had a long line, possibly due to the Golden Week crowds, and it was disappointing to be cut in line by those who didn't have priority. The drink bar also had a Japanese menu available. Additionally, they take a photo of you at the beginning, and later a staff member comes around selling the framed photo for $50, which is amusing. After the show, the performers allow you to take pictures in the hallway, so that was satisfying.

Have been here multiple times. Veltra always does it right. Pick up right on time, good bus ride, on time delivery. Paradise Cove is great! Activities and shopping to kill time, really good meal, and really good show. Highly recommended!

The performances were amazing and the staff were really friendly and funny. The food was also amazing!! You will not regret it. Paradise Cove was the best place for the luau. The views were incredible.

I thought it was a bit expensive, but the show was impressive, the location was great, and the food was really delicious. The male dancers were cool!

I opted for the premium plan, but I don't think there was much difference in viewing the show. It was more about being able to eat first at the buffet. I'm not sure about the standard seats, but the seats at the very back were arranged as round tables for 5-6 people, and you could see the stage directly, so that might have been better. The show is conducted in English, but there was someone who explained the process of making clothes from tree bark in Japanese.

プレミアムプランにしていましたが、ショーの観覧にはあまり差はなかったと思います。どちらかというと、食事（ビュッフェ）が先に食べられるということだけかな。スタンダード席かどうかわかりませんが、一番後方の席が5－6人の丸テーブルになっていて、正面にステージが見られるので、そのほうが良かったかな。
ショーは英語で行われますが、その前の木の皮から服を作る工程については、日本語での説明をしてくれるひとがいました。
