I participated in the Sunset Dinner Cruise on August 26, 2022. The weather was nice, and I was seated in a spot where a pleasant breeze was blowing. We were welcomed with a drink.

The food included salad, appetizers (buffet), and the lobster had a visually appealing portion with just the right amount of flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. With the ticket, you could choose up to two drinks, and for those who wanted more, additional orders were available, so be careful not to drink too much!

We were also able to see fireworks from Hilton, and there was a show to enjoy on board. It was a wonderful time that I will remember, and I would love to participate in this cruise again.

I booked the Three Star tour. 85% of the guests were present. Among them, about 40% were Japanese, which shows that Japanese people really enjoy this tour. The lobster was the easiest to eat of all I've had so far, and it was wonderfully prepared, allowing me to finish everything.

The impressions of the show, as everyone has introduced, were very satisfying. As for my comments, I would like to share about the infection control measures during the COVID-19 situation.

There were few Japanese people on board, and aside from the staff, I hardly saw anyone wearing masks. I recommend bringing hand sanitizer and using it, of course during meals and also when entering and exiting the restroom, just to be safe.

The show had not only the performers but also the audience joyfully cheering. The atmosphere was very good, but if there were cameras that could capture the spread of droplets, it would be quite a sight. Therefore, I think it's essential to wear a mask while watching and to have the mindset of sanitizing any exposed skin afterward.

Please note that as of August 2022, you cannot leave Japan without a negative PCR test certificate, so I am writing this with the assumption of taking quite cautious measures. The show itself was truly wonderful and I highly recommend it.

私からのコメントとして、Withコロナの中での感染対策について紹介します。
船内は日本人の姿は少なく、スタッフを除いてマスクをしている人もほとんど見かけません。携帯アルコール消毒を持って行って、食事の際は無論、トイレの出入りの際などに念のために消毒することをお勧めします。

ショーは、パフォーマーの方だけでなく観客の皆さんが、陽気に声を上げています。雰囲気はとてもよいのですが、もし飛沫の拡散が見えるカメラでもあるなら、すごい状態になっていると思いますので、鑑賞時はマスク着用必須で鑑賞後は肌の出ている部分を消毒するぐらいの気持ちでいたほうが良いと思います。
なお、このコメントを書いている22年8月現在は日本帰国時のPCR陰性証明がないと出国自体ができないため、かなり慎重な対応をとる前提で記載しております。ショー自体はとても素晴らしく、お勧めです。

I took a one-night trip to Honolulu and joined the Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Star of Honolulu. I was picked up from the hotel and accompanied throughout the experience. I chose the lowest-ranked buffet, so I'm not sure if that's why the food was just okay. I didn't go for seconds. They do dance the hula at the end, but since they perform at the same level rather than on a stage, it was hard to see. I wish they would create a stage. It felt like it wasn't worth the price. The crew members were kind, though.

Since it was my family's first time in Hawaii, I looked for a tour that would allow us to quickly experience Hawaii. It can be difficult to participate alone, but we had a great time together as a family. We chose a course that included three dishes and came with photos, and the food was delicious, with plenty of portions that left us full. We got to see hula and dances from other islands, and at the end, the staff who served us joined in the dancing, which seemed to be a lot of fun for the kids. Of course, the sunset viewed from the ocean in Hawaii was beautiful, and while it may be cliché, I feel like we truly enjoyed the Hawaii that matched our expectations.

We dressed up as a family of three and participated. We started with unlimited cheese, followed by salad, appetizers, soup, lobster, steak, and cake, enjoying a full-course meal. We reserved a window-side seat with champagne, and the view was wonderful. We were also free to go out on the deck to take photos, capturing moments of the rainbow and sunset. During the show, we enjoyed hula and traditional Hawaiian dances, and to wrap it up, everyone in the audience stood up to sing and dance to YMCA! Most of the audience were Westerners, but since it was the YMCA covered by Hideki Saijo, which we all know well, it was a lot of fun! I would love to participate again if possible.

I visited on the second day after arriving in Hawaii.
I recommend this for those who want to feel the essence of Hawaii.
I tend to get seasick, but I had no issues at all.

The food was delicious, and I was able to indulge in a whole lobster, plus it came with steak, so I was quite full.

The scenery was also very beautiful, and if you're lucky, you might see a rainbow.

During the meal, we enjoyed music and hula dancing, which was a lot of fun.

At the finale, everyone danced and sang (laughs).
Most of the Asian guests were just sitting and eating, so there was no pressure to join in the dancing.
Whether you want to dance along or just enjoy the atmosphere, you can participate comfortably.

It became a wonderful memory.

My adult daughter and teenage son and I had an amazing time. From the warm welcoming from the hula dancers and music being played to the staff. I had a reserved table with the view of the water. Beautiful set up. The food was delicious and beautiful presentation. Our waiter was very attentive. Enjoyed the dancers/performance and music. The fireworks show from Waikiki because it was on a Friday night was absolutely beautiful while being on the water. The fireworks were okay wished it was more of them but it was nice just the same. I highly recommend this cruise. We went in July 2022

From check in to the end this was well organized. We loved our waiter, how our table was set for us, delicious drinks. The show while we ate our dinner was amazing they did a wonderful job, the music was also pleasant, and dessert was yummy, the view is breathtaking. We went in July so we did not need sweaters of any kind. We did not know if we'd get motion sickness, so we still took some dramamine an hour before and we did just fine. We also loved our picture a memory that we will forever have with us, worth the price!

I wanted to see the Hilton fireworks, so I decided to join the dinner cruise the night before. I'm glad I could sign up on such short notice.

Every time I come to Hawaii, I've booked a dinner cruise, but honestly, I was surprised by the small boat and that dinner was a bento box. I was the only Japanese person who couldn't speak English well, and I was worried about what would happen if something went wrong. However, when I communicated my concerns to the staff, they reassured me that it would be fine and encouraged me to enjoy myself. They also made sure to take care of my drinks.

In the end, the bento box, which I was initially surprised by, turned out to be delicious on the boat, and I was able to eat it all. The fireworks were beautiful, and overall, I had a great time participating. (Having two drinks also lifted my spirits, haha!)

毎回ハワイに来た時はディナークルーズを申し込んでいたのですが、正直小さい船（ボート？）でびっくりして、ディナーもお弁当なのがびっくりしました。
日本人でまともに英語が喋れないのが私一人だけで、何かあった時に困るのでスタッフに伝えると問題ないですよ、楽しみましょうって言ってくれて、飲み物等も気を遣ってもらえました。
結局びっくりしたお弁当も船の上だと増し増しで美味しくて、全部食べられました。
花火もきれいで、総じて楽しんで参加できました。（お酒2杯で気分が上がったのもありますw）

I took my parents, brother, aunt and cousin. We all loved the special treatment with the package. The food was above expectations. The views were nice. Loved the fireworks on the Friday night cruise. The music and entertainment was amazing. The young lady who served us was a new trainee and did a wonderful job. The only thing that was a little off putting was the manager’s conversation was a little repetitive throughout the dinner.

It was a little too crowded for my liking and the show was lackluster. Overall a bit to touristy for my liking. My daughter did not feel good the entire trip. They do offer you ginger candy if you are nauseous.

The food was really good, as were the cocktails and the views were amazing.

I also loved the professional photographer and we did purchase a beautiful family picture.

So overall mixed reviews.

The sunset cruise was larger than I expected. I chose the three-star option, and it was packed with volume. The lobster was particularly large, with a firm texture, and it was very delicious.

Since I added a commemorative option, there were arrangements for photos, cake, and champagne. However, the photos were taken right after boarding the ship, so the background was land. I wish we could have taken some pictures in a nicer location on the water.

The cake was not what I expected; it was a large whole cake, so it felt more like something to take home rather than to eat on the spot. I ended up having to eat it for breakfast over the next couple of days, so it might not have been necessary.

One reason I added the option was to sit by the window, but there were people who sat by the window without the option, so it might not have been necessary after all.

Everyone was dressed very casually, so I think you don't need to worry about a dress code. The cruise had delicious food, and the singing and dancing were really great. At the end, everyone stood up and danced together, which was a lot of fun.

The price is a bit on the high side, but I’m glad I booked it. For those considering it for a honeymoon, you might not need to add the option. I definitely recommend the tour!

記念のオプションをつけたので、写真、ケーキ、シャンパンの用意がありましたが、写真は船に乗ってすぐ撮影されたため、背景が陸地でしたので、できればもう少し海上の素敵なロケーションでも撮影してもらえたらなと思いました。
ケーキは、思っていた感じではなく、大きなホールケーキでしたので、その場で食べるというよりは、持って帰る用という感じでした。笑
向こうで食べ切るために、２日ほど朝頑張って食べるという感じになったので、いらなかったかもしれません。笑
オプションをつけたのは窓側がいいからということもありましたが、つけていなくても窓側に座れていた方もいたので、特につけなくてもよかったかもと思います。
服装は、本当にラフな感じで皆さん参加されているので、ドレスコードは気にしなくて大丈夫だと思います。
クルーズは、お料理も美味しく、歌やダンスもとてもよかったです。最後にはみんなで立って一緒にダンスをしたり、大盛り上がりで楽しかったです。
お値段は少し高級ですが、申し込んでよかったと思います。
ハネムーンでご検討されている方でも、オプションは別につけなくてもいいかもです。ツアー自体はおすすめです！

This activity is for those who like to treated like a VIP. From arrival to departure, you feel like a special guest. This boat is enormous. 4 floors of dining & entertainment. The views from the 4th floor walk around area can’t be beat. The food is good and the drinks are outstanding. If you get cold easily, bring a light jacket. The dining area is air conditioned. Supposedly, you can see the Hawaiian Village fireworks on Friday nights. A great way to get some fantastic photos and memories.
