I chose the Pacific Star plan. The food was delicious, but the boat was quite rocky, and even though I took motion sickness medication, I still got seasick and couldn't eat much... what a shame. I enjoyed the show, and the scenery was beautiful. It felt like a plan that really captured the essence of Hawaii!

I apologize for the late post, but I used the service in April. Since our arrival date was on a Friday, I signed up for my friend’s first trip to Hawaii to see the Hilton fireworks! My friend, who was worried about motion sickness, was very happy to enjoy the fireworks while feeling the pleasant breeze (a jacket is a must!). I usually watch from the beach, but seeing the fireworks from the water was exceptional. I would like to sign up again next time!

I showed my voucher at the booth as instructed, but was told it was the wrong place and that I needed to go to the Sheraton. When I went to the Sheraton, there was no reception area. When I returned, I saw the same person from earlier with the boat in the photo, so I asked again and was told to wait there. However, while I was left waiting, more and more people boarded the boat, and as they were about to close it, I asked again and was told to hurry up. The staff on the server and the dancers were very service-oriented, and I thought it might be nice to sign up for the same experience again when I go to Hawaii. The food was excellent in both taste and portion size, and I believe it offers great value for the price. If you accidentally take too much crab, you might not be able to finish the steak on your plate. It's great to see and great to eat! While it may seem cliché compared to entering a famous restaurant in Waikiki, I definitely think this dinner cruise is a better deal and more reasonable!

For our honeymoon's final day, we were considering a dinner cruise. When I talked to friends and did some searches, "Star of Honolulu" came up as the top option, but I wondered if there might be better ships out there, so I did some research myself. However, the results still showed that Star of Honolulu was the best choice, so even though it wasn't cheap, I went ahead and booked it. The buffet-style meal was delicious, and I was very satisfied with both the taste and the menu. Our seats were on the second floor with a great view! I signed her up as a surprise gift since she is a bit scared, but the fun was so overwhelming that she seemed to forget her fear and was really happy, asking to go to the front of the boat to take pictures. There were not many Japanese people, but the foreigners were lively, dancing and singing, which made it incredibly enjoyable. Was a great night with good food and good entertainment to follow. Rose was our server and what a fantastic job she did, she had a number of tables to look after (as servers do over there) yet she gave intimate tables of two just as much as large group tables.
Overall a well run experience from pickup to drop off couldn't fault it at all

We were seated at a table in the bow section on the first floor. Although we were guided there, our group's seats were no longer available. When we informed the staff, they kindly asked other guests to move and prepared the best seats in that room for us. (I later found out that there was a group using extra chairs for their luggage.) While they were preparing our seats, they made sure we weren't bored by asking, "Where are you from?" and the musician made jokes to entertain us. During the meal, they kept us entertained with singing and dancing, and I was impressed by the sense of unity we experienced in the same room.

I was at the designated location 15 minutes before the pickup, but when I called the tour company 20 minutes after the scheduled time, they told me the bus had already left and that I would have to pay for my own transportation. Their response and attitude were utterly shocking.

I've signed up for local tours dozens of times, but this is the first time I've experienced something like this, and I can't contain my anger.

I will never go on such a frustrating tour again.

The drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the cheerful crew created a fun atmosphere, making the cruising experience fly by. The last time I came to Hawaii, I participated in the daytime cruise, but I personally recommend the sunset cruise because it’s not too hot, and the sea breeze feels nice! If you go to Hawaii, definitely consider joining this. It should be enjoyable for people of all ages and genders.

Star of Honolulu Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise & Polynesian Show

Worth the money

We went for my daughter's graduation, we had a great time. The food was ok, but the performances and audience involvement made up for it. My kids really enjoyed it! The sunset was amazing!!! This is a must do activity.
