On the last day of my trip to Hawaii, I decided to treat myself a little and used the sunset cruise. Upon arriving at the port and completing the check-in, I was guided by a woman in a tuxedo to board first, separate from the other guests in line. I was taken directly to the top deck, where I received a welcome service that only 5-star guests can enjoy, including a greeting from the captain.
After a while, we went inside, and since we had received three drink tickets each before boarding, I ordered some drinks. The drink menu and food list were written in Japanese, so I could understand the contents even without knowing English.
As we set sail, the food was served, but about 30 minutes later, it was sunset time, so I stepped outside to watch the sun go down. It was a bit rushed, but the sunset, unobstructed by anything, was the most beautiful I had seen during my stay, and it was truly moving. I couldn't capture it well in photos, so I highly recommend experiencing it with your own eyes!
The staff were very kind and took photos for us, offering advice on locations as well. Since the top deck was exclusive to 5-star guests, it was never crowded, allowing us to enjoy our time without worrying about others around us.
The timing of the food being served was based on the progress of each group, so we could enjoy our meal without any stress. The staff were always attentive to us, and when I felt a bit seasick, they quickly provided medication. There were also Japanese staff members, which made me feel very reassured as I could converse in Japanese despite my limited English.
Along the way and at the end, we had a private concert from our own pianist and singer, making it feel like a luxurious moment in a jazz bar. While the lower deck was lively, it felt like we were on a completely different ship, enjoying a quiet and private time.
The food, service, and location were all exceptional and worth much more than the price I paid. I highly recommend this for a special day with someone important. I definitely want to use this service again.
今回ハワイ旅行最終日の夕食に少し背伸びをしてこちらのサンセットクルーズを利用しました。
港に着いて受付を済ませると、他の方が並んでいる列ではなく、5スター専用でタキシードを着た女性に案内され1番に乗船することができました。そのまま船の屋上に案内され、船長のお出迎えなど5スターの方でないと受けられないウェルカムサービスをしていただきました。
しばらくして室内に入り、乗船前に1人3枚ずつドリンクチケットを頂いていたので、ドリンクを注文しました。
ドリンクメニューやお品書きは日本語で書いてあり、英語がわからなくても内容を知ることができました。
出航と同時に料理が運ばれましたが、その30分後には日没時間でしたので、食事半ば外に出て日が沈むのを見ていました。少し慌ただしかったのですが、前に遮るものが何もない夕日は滞在中に見たどれよりも綺麗で感動しました。写真では上手く写すことができなかったので、是非目で見て体感していただきたいです！
スタッフの方がとても親切に写真を撮影してくださり、場所などもアドバイスしてくださいました。
最上階は5スターの方しか出入り出来ないため、混雑もなく終始周りの人を気にせず過ごすことができました。
料理が出てくるタイミングは、グループごとに進み具合で持ってきてくださったのでストレスなく食事を楽しむことができました。
スタッフの方は常に私たちを気にしてくださり、少し船酔いした時もすぐにお薬を出してくださいました。日本人のスタッフもいて、英語が拙くても日本語で会話することができたのでとても安心しました。
途中と最後には私たち専用のピアニストや歌手の方のコンサートがあり、ジャズバーにいるような贅沢なひと時でした。
下の階は終始賑やかでしたが、まるで違う船に乗船しているかのように静かでプライベートな時間を楽しむことができました。
料理もサービスもロケーションも、お値段以上に最高で私にはもったいないくらいでした。
特別な日に大切な人と利用するにはこれ以外ないくらい本当にオススメです。是非また利用したいと思います。

There is a shuttle service to nearby hotels, so it's安心 at night. The appetizer buffet came with free drinks, and while the buffet was on the second floor, we were on the third floor, which had a great view. There weren't many types of appetizers, but it was fine since we had eaten a little beforehand. The beer, sparkling wine, and wine were all-you-can-drink, which was a great deal. The staff was friendly, coming to take our orders and even taking photos for us. We could also access the second floor, where we could listen to live music. The sunset was beautiful.

This was my first time participating. I chose this dinner cruise because I wanted to experience an overseas atmosphere, and there were fewer Japanese people on it. The content of the cruising was as I imagined; we enjoyed a buffet at the beginning and then each of us enjoyed the scenery, as well as Hawaiian dance and music at the bar. The taste of the food was just average.
The problem was the shuttle service to the hotel. We were staying at the Prince Waikiki, and during the pickup, we were the first to be picked up, followed by stops at other hotels. Considering that they drive on the right side and the route to the destination, it was a logical order. However, on the way back, we passed by the Prince Waikiki first but for some reason, we just went straight past it. In the end, we were left until the very last, and ultimately dropped off about 100 meters away from the Prince Waikiki, being told to walk back. It didn’t make sense since other hotels were dropped off at their pickup locations.
Additionally, it seemed that the arrangements for the return bus were poor, and we had to wait for about 30 minutes. Because of that, what was supposed to be a tour ending at 7:30 PM ended up with us getting back to the hotel at 9 PM. Given that this tour operates daily, the poor arrangements and inefficient shuttle route make it hard to recommend. It might be better to meet on-site. I will not participate in this tour again.
今回初めて参加しました。海外の雰囲気を感じたかったので、日本人が少ないこのディナークルーズを選びました。クルージングの中身については想像通りで、最初にビュッフェを楽しんであとはそれぞれ景色を見たり、バーでハワイアンダンスやハワイアンミュージックを楽しむ内容でした。料理の味は普通といったところ。
問題はホテルまでの送迎サービスでした。
私たちはプリンスワイキキに宿泊していたのですが、迎えの時は最初にピックアップされて他のホテルを回るルート。右側通行であること、目的地へのルートを考えると合理的な順番です。そう考えると、帰りのルートはプリンスワイキキを1番最初に通過するのですが、なぜかそのまま真横を通過。結局最後まで残されて、挙げ句の果てにプリンスワイキキから100メートルほど離れたところに降ろされて、あとは歩いて帰れと言われる。他のホテルはピックアップした場所で下ろしているのに意味が分からない。
この日はさらに、帰りのバスの段取りが悪かったようで30分ほど待たされる。
それも重なり19時30分に終了するツアーのはずが、ホテルに帰り着いたのは21時でした。
毎日運行しているツアーなのに段取りが悪い点や非効率的な送迎ルートを考えるとあまりおすすめはしません。
現地集合がいいかもしれませんね。
私はもうこのツアーには参加しません。

I have participated in activities like the Sunset Dinner Cruise several times in the past, so I had a certain level of expectation regarding the food and service. However, this dinner cruise exceeded those expectations significantly. Here are three points that far surpassed other dinner cruises:
1. The quality of the food was high. I ordered the all-you-can-eat crab and steak course. Honestly, I didn't expect much in terms of quality for the all-you-can-eat crab. However, the crab served was large, meaty, and flavorful, pleasantly surprising me. The steak, despite being lean meat, was tender, juicy, and very delicious.
2. The quality of the service was high. The service from the staff and the performers in the show was excellent. I particularly appreciated the opportunity to interact with the performers during the show, such as high-fives, which I found to be wonderful.
3. The view from the boat was incredibly beautiful. Watching the sunset from the ocean was unobstructed, and since the weather was clear that day, it was very picturesque. Additionally, the view of the Hawaiian nightscape from the boat after sunset was also stunning.

しかし、提供されたカニは、サイズが大きく、身も詰まっており、味も旨味がしっかりしており、いい意味で期待を裏切られた。
ステーキも赤身肉であるにも関わらず、柔らかくジューシーでとても美味しかった。
② サービスの品質が高かった事
店員、劇の出演者のサービスも非常に良かった。特に、劇の出演者と劇中に触れ合える、ハイタッチ等が出来る事が非常に素晴らしいと感じた。
③ 船からの景色が非常に綺麗だった事
沖からサンセットを眺めるという事で、邪魔する物がなく、当日は晴れであったため、とても綺麗であった。
また、サンセット後に、船から眺めるハワイの夜景もとても綺麗であった。

The weather was great, and I was able to see a beautiful sunset (*^^*). I was also satisfied to see whales during the cruise! I was so captivated by the sunset and the show that I didn't focus much on the food, but the roast beef was delicious! At the end of the show, everyone got to join in and dance, which was a lot of fun!

We set sail in a relaxed mood with acoustic guitar performances. There were many tourists, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and American visitors, and the musician played music that appealed to everyone (like Southern All Stars for the Japanese audience). It was a buffet course, and the food was very good, with excellent service from the staff. Of course, the main attractions were the sunset and night views, but even if you're not comfortable performing in front of others, the staff kindly guided us through dances and hula. ビュッフェのコースでしたが、味もとても良くスタッフの方の対応もすごくよかったです。
メインのサンセットや夜景はもちろん、ダンスやフラなどもあまり人前に出るのが得意でなくてもスタッフの方が優しく誘導してくれます。

We participated as a couple. There were only six Japanese people, including us, so we ended up getting closer. There were many young people, and the atmosphere was fantastic, but unfortunately, due to a small accident, my favorite glasses that I bought for about 50,000 yen a week ago disappeared into the ocean in Waikiki. What should have been a fun trip was ruined. I think those who will participate in the future should pack minimally and consider that if something falls, it might disappear into the sea. The Mai Tai was very delicious.
夫婦二人で参加致しました。日本人は私達を含め６人と少なかった為、かえって仲良くなりました。若い人達が多く、ノリノリで、最高でしたが、ふとした事故で、１週間前に50000円程で買った、お気に入りのメガネがワイキキの海に消えてしまいました。楽しいはずの旅行が、台無しになりました。これから参加される方は、最小限の荷物で、下に落としたら、海に消えてしまう事を考えておいた方がいいと思います。マイタイは大変美味しかったですよ。

I heard that the OP tour is very popular, so I applied for it. I was also considering the OP at the Polynesian Cultural Center, but this one offered a dinner show during the cruise, which provided a luxurious experience.

We received a warm welcome with hula dancing and music in front of the ship. Inside the ship, the staff greeted us with smiles. When they asked how many people were in our party and I replied "two," I was pleased to be offered two different seating options for two people, allowing us to choose. I think it's a good idea to consider that the area with the microphone is at the front, where you'll be watching the hula dance show, when selecting your seats. Once seated, a staff member comes to take drink orders. My husband ordered alcohol, but we were not asked to show our passports. At this time, a photographer comes around to take pictures at each table, and later they will come to sell the photos in an album. I'm not sure if credit cards are accepted, so I recommend bringing cash just in case if you're considering purchasing photos. (I was forgotten by the photographer at my seat and didn't get my picture taken. As the hula dance show starts later, those who were overlooked should speak up to the staff as soon as they notice.) The views from the ship include three beautiful sights: 1) the ocean, 2) the mountains, and 3) the cityscape. Once the ship reaches the open sea, it circles around the same area, ensuring that all seats have a view of every sight, which is great. At that time, the ship sways a bit, so if you are prone to seasickness, I recommend taking motion sickness medication beforehand. (I tend to get very seasick but forgot to take my medication, yet I was fine.) Since I chose the buffet option, it was very casual, and the host encouraged us by saying, "Feel free to take pictures," so everyone was freely getting up to take photos. Many foreigners brought selfie sticks. The scenery is so beautiful that I wish I had brought one too... The views are stunning at any time of day, whether during the day, at sunset, or at night. It was nice to have the freedom to eat for those who wanted to eat and take pictures for those who wanted to take pictures. At the end, there was a hula dance show, and although some small children were crying, the ship has an upper deck, so it's easy to move there even when the show starts, making it accessible for families with children. The hula dance show featured one male and one female dancer, and I thought it was quite authentic. It was really wonderful. At the end, we all danced to YMCA, which made for a very enjoyable experience. The food was just okay. The dessert was a bit dry, but I think the main focus of this tour is to enjoy the scenery and the hula dance, so overall, I was satisfied. If you place more importance on the meal, a course meal might be better. Due to the mediocre food and the missed photo opportunity, I would rate it four stars, though I think families would have plenty of fun with this course.
【For Participants】
1) Tips are necessary.
As mentioned in the details on Veltra, tips are required. I think it's good to bring some cash.
2) Men should wear collared shirts, and women should opt for dresses.
Since we chose the buffet style, it was relatively casual, but many people were dressed formally. (Even formal attire was just a casual dress.) There were some Japanese women who came in pants and sneakers, but they looked a bit out of place. If you're unsure about what to wear, a dress that costs around $19 at ABC Mart would be sufficient.
3) A jacket is essential.
If you have a seat on the ocean side, it can be cold at night depending on the day, so I recommend bringing a cardigan.
船の前でフラダンスと音楽で熱烈なお出迎えを受けました。船の中ではどのスタッフが笑顔で案内をしてくれました。何人で来たか聞かれ、「二人」と答えると、2人用の席を二か所勧められ、どちらか選ばせてもらえたのは嬉しかったです。マイクがある方が前方となり、フラダンスショーを見ることになるので、それも考慮して席を選ぶといいと思います。座席につくとスタッフが来て飲み物の注文を取ってくれます。旦那はアルコールをオーダーしましたが、パスポートの提示は求められませんでした。この時に、カメラスタッフが来て各テーブルごとに写真を撮り、あとでアルバムにして販売に来てくれます。クレジットカードＯＫかどうかわかりません。写真購入を考えてる方は念のため現金を持っていくといいと思います。（私の席はカメラスタッフに忘れられており、写真を撮ってもらえなかったです。後半になるとフラダンスショーが始まり、写真が撮れなくなるので、写真を忘れられた人は気づいた時点でスタッフに声をかけましょう。）船から見える景色は①海 ②山 ③街並みの三カ所が見えて、どれもきれいです。船は沖まで来ると、同じ場所をグルグル廻り、どの席からも全部の景色が見えるように配慮してもらえるので嬉しいです。そのときに、やや揺れるので、船酔いしやすい人は事前に酔い止めを飲んでおくといいと思います。（私はめちゃくちゃ船酔いしやすいタイプなのに酔い止め薬を飲み忘れたけど大丈夫でした）ビュッフェを選択したのでとてもカジュアルで、司会の方も「写真撮ってきていいよ」と声をかけてくれたので、皆自由に席を立って写真を撮っていました。外国人も自撮り棒を持ってきてる人が多かったです。景色がすごくきれいなので私も持っていけばよかった・・・。日中、日の入り、夜景とどの時間帯でも景色がきれいです。食べたい人は食べ、写真を撮りたい人は撮り、と自由でよかったです。最後にフラダンスショーがありますが、小さな子供が泣いたりしていましたが、船には屋上があるので、フラダンスショーが始まってもすぐに移動できるので子連れでも参加しやすいと思います。フラダンスショーは男女一人づつが踊っていて、かなり本格的だったと思います。すごく素敵でした。最後に全員でＹＭＣＡを踊ってとても楽しい経験になりました。食事はまぁまぁですね。デザートはパサパサしたケーキだったりしましたが、このツアーは食事より、景色、フラダンスを楽しむのがメインだと思うので、私は全体を通したら満足です。もし、食事に重きを置くなら、コース料理の方がいいかもしれません。食事がいまいちだったのと写真の撮り忘れがあったので、辛口ですが☆4つにしたいと思います。家族連れならこのコースで十分楽しめると思います。

ベルトラの詳細に書かれているようにチップが必要です。多少現金を持っていくといいと思います。
②男性は襟付きの服、女性はワンピースが無難
ビュッフェ形式のにしたので割とカジュアルでしたが、正装してる人が多かったです。（正装といってもカジュアルなワンピース程度のものです）日本人女性でズボン、スニーカーで来ている方もいましたが、ちょっと浮いていました。服装に困ったらＡＢＣマートで19ドルで売っているようなワンピースでも十分だと思います。
③上着は必須
海側の席になると夜ですし、日によっては寒いので、カーディガンを持っていくといいと思います。

I stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki, so I decided to enjoy the fireworks from the sea. It was convenient since the boat departs right in front of the hotel. The fireworks and the night view from the water were absolutely beautiful. Also, I felt lucky because I could see a lot of stars. It was a bit chilly, so it might be good to have something to wear over your clothes. It's best to wear something that can get wet! The crew on the boat really got everyone excited, and it was a lot of fun. I had a Mai Tai, and there was also unlimited alcohol available.

We participated in the all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet on the 3rd floor, which included free drinks. It was relatively quiet, and the waiter took our drink orders. I chose champagne, and it was a rosé champagne. It was delicious. Beer, wine, and champagne were free, while other items were available for an additional charge.

I participated in the 5-star course. I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was delicious, and both the staff at the table and the other staff were kind and helpful. Perhaps because it was a 5-star experience, I was shown to a lovely seat. The live performance was also very good, and my grandmother, who joined me, was very happy.
However, one disappointing point was that despite confirming the end time with the staff before the tour started, the ending was significantly delayed. As a result, I had to leave the live performance early, cancel the shuttle bus, and rush home by taxi. Normally, it would be wonderful to enjoy a long, lovely live show, but this time it was quite troublesome.
That said, I am grateful for the wonderful experience, and it has become a good memory. I would love to participate in the 5-star experience again someday.

We traveled on the ship with three generations of our family, from ages 3 to 72. The large windows provided great views, and while the food and desserts were a bit too sweet, they were still quite delicious. On the way back, the bus took us through a street with Christmas illuminations with the lights turned off, which was enjoyable until the very end.
However, there was no announcement, which left us a bit confused about when to go for food and whether we could sit on the second floor without ordering drinks.
Despite the many positives, my rating is average due to the dishes. They seemed to have only been washed on the surface, with grease remaining on the underside, and sometimes they were completely dirty. It felt wasteful, especially since the crew members were very attentive. I hope this can be improved.
3歳〜72歳まで家族3世代で乗船。窓が大きいので景色も良く、料理もスイーツは甘すぎでしたがほどよく美味しく、帰りのバスは明かりを消してクリスマスイルミネーションのある通りを通ってくれて最後まで楽しめました。
ただ何もアナウンスがないので、料理をとりにいくタイミング、2階はドリンクを飲まなくても座っていいのか、戸惑いが少しありました。
良いことが多かったものの評価が普通なのは…食器類。表面しか洗ってなくて裏は油汚れが残っていたり、たまに全面汚れていたりしたので、せっかく船員さんも丁寧な方たちなのにもったいないなぁと思いました。是非改善を。

I requested a window-side private seat, but I was disappointed at first because it wasn't by the window at all. However, since it was diagonally in front of the main seating, I decided to let it go. The food was better than I expected. The appetizers and meat were delicious. The show wasn't anything special, and the fireworks ended in five minutes. The cost-effectiveness seems a bit poor.
窓側、プライベート席確約で頼みましたが、窓際側でもなんでもなく最初はがっかり、しかし、メイン席の斜め前だったのでまあいいかとあきらめて。
食事は思ったより良かった。前菜、肉げ美味でした。ショーは大した事なし。花火は五分で終了。
費用対効果は少し悪いかな？

Among my past dinner cruise experiences, this one had the most relaxed atmosphere and was quite pleasant. However, it also had the least appealing food for my taste. Although it was a buffet, all the meat dishes were off-puttingly smelly to me, and the vegetables were not fresh at all; everything was wilted. As for the bread, it was dry and crumbly... well, this is a common trend with bread in overseas places, especially in America, but I felt like it took all the moisture out of my mouth. I was amazed at how low the quality could be. In other words, I took one bite of the food and didn’t touch it again. I think sandwiches or hamburgers would have been a hundred times better. Everything else was great, but when the food is bad, it ruins the whole experience. Recently, Hawaii has seen a significant increase in high-quality restaurants compared to the past (partly because more owners and culinary directors are Japanese or of Japanese descent), so I was quite shocked by the food this time. This is purely my personal opinion as a food analyst (I do restaurant ratings and such).
過去のディナークルーズ体験の中では一番ゆったりとした雰囲気と快く過ごせたと思う。が、しかし過去体験の中で最も料理が私の口には合わなかった。ビュッフェ方式だか、肉料理は全て私にとって臭く、野菜も新鮮とは言えず、どれもがしんなり、さらばパンなら…が、これまたパサパサでモサモサ…まぁ海外、特にアメリカのパンに多い傾向ですが、口の中の水分を全て持って行かれるかと思いました。よくここまで質を落とせるなと思うほどのレベルです。すなわち料理は一口食べただけでその後はまったく手を付けずじまい…。サンドイッチとかハンバーガーなどの方が100倍良いと思います。それ以外はとても良いのに料理がダメだと全てが台無しなんですよ。最近のハワイは昔に比べてとてもレベルアップしたレストランが増えてきた（オーナーや料理ディレクターが日本人か日系のところが増えたのでという理由も少なくない）ので、今回はビックリするくらい料理でした。あくまでもフードアナリスト（レストランの格付けとかしております）としての私の極めて個人的な見解です。

It was cloudy until just before, but luckily the clouds cleared, and the sunset viewed from the sea in Hawaii was beautiful. The dinner show was lively thanks to the staff, and it was interactive and fun, making the time fly by. I also had a great conversation with a couple from San Francisco at the next table, which was the best part.

This was my third time participating, and I still think the food here is delicious. The meat was tender and tasty, and the crab was sweet with plenty of meat. It seemed like the participants were all people who could afford a decent price, so I was able to enjoy a great atmosphere. I definitely plan to participate again next time. The show was also entertaining.
3回目の参加でしたが、やっぱりここの料理は、おいしいと思いました。
お肉も柔らかくておいしいし、カニに至っては甘くて身もしっかり詰まっていました。
参加者もそれなりにいい値段を支払える方々ばかりなのか、とてもいい感じで過ごすことができました。
是非次回も参加させていただきます。
ショーも面白かったです。
