It was bad timing with President Trump's visit, but everything proceeded on schedule without any issues. The night view and fireworks were great, but the buffet on the ship was somewhat disappointing in taste. Most of the main meal was on the sweeter side, which was disappointing; the only thing that was really good was the lobster. I was satisfied with the fruits and vegetables. I was able to see the fireworks from a good spot on the deck, so I was happy with that, although the duration was short.

We were blessed with great weather and were able to see a truly beautiful sunset. Surrounded by a fun captain and mostly non-Japanese guests, I had a wonderful time even though I don't understand much English. The boat didn't sway as much as I expected, and no one got wet at all. We stepped into the sea a few steps to board the boat, and then we were barefoot inside the boat the whole time. You can see a different view of Diamond Head too! I definitely want to join again if I have the chance!

It was my first catamaran tour, and there were over 40 people on the tour, but there were no other Japanese participants. Since all the instructions were in English, there were many things I didn't understand, but I didn't have any particular problems and had a great time. Since it was a catamaran, I didn't have to worry about seasickness and enjoyed plenty of free drinks like Mai Tais and champagne. I wish I had brought some snacks... The scenery is wonderful. It's romantic. As we got closer to Diamond Head, there was a lot of noise with dancing and singing to the music. It was about an hour, but it was fun. We took commemorative photos before boarding and bought them on the way back.

The fireworks were shorter than I expected (about 5 minutes), so I thought it might not have been necessary to take the boat just for that. However, the atmosphere on the boat with the dining, dancing, and performances, as well as the night view, was very nice. I got seasick as soon as we boarded and couldn't move from my seat much, but the staff was very attentive and considerate. They took photos during boarding and would come around to sell them later. We decided to have the data sent to us via email, but there was no Wi-Fi on the boat, so I couldn't confirm the data reception. Later, it turned out that the data hadn't been sent, but I consulted with VELTRA, and they were able to send it to me after I returned to Japan. I was very grateful for their help. I think it's better to receive the photos in physical form.

this boat ride was absolutely amazing. I would do it again. I loved that you can book it all online and show up the day of, super easy. I called them to get clarification and they were more than helpful. The ride was more than expected. Both of the guys working were energetic and funny. They made the ride very fun, while still giving everyone their own time to hang out and take photos. The open bar was obviously a great perk also. I really enjoyed the sunset cruise and would love to try one of the other ones they do.

On the day of the cruise, the wind was very strong, and it rained intermittently, but I had a great time cruising. As the captain said, "Today will be very bumpy" due to the wind and tide, it was indeed quite rocky, and I felt like I might be thrown off if I didn't hold onto the railing. (In such weather, it's not suitable for children.) The captain mentioned, "It's been windy all week; it's not usually like this."

I debated between the Star of Honolulu and this one, but I chose this based on the price and atmosphere. As mentioned in other reviews, I felt that there were relatively more participants from Western countries than from Asia, but it wasn't unusual to see Japanese people, and I was able to make friends.
