The scenery and atmosphere were fantastic. The Mai Tai was very delicious and since it was all-you-can-drink, I had quite a few. Everyone was cheerful and having a great time. When boarding, you enter the water a little, so shorter clothes might be better. Many people wore shorts. It felt a bit chilly, so I think it's good to have something to throw on. It was truly a wonderful time. I plan to use this again.
景色も雰囲気も最高でした。
マイタイがとても美味しく飲み放題なのでたくさん頂きました。
皆酔っぱらって陽気で楽しかったです。
乗船するとき海に少し入るので、短めの服がいいかも。
ショートパンツの方が多かったです。

To celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, we both went to Hawaii for the first time. We participated in a luxurious 5-star course.
Welcomed by a hula performance, we boarded the ship and took the elevator to the top floor, the 4th floor. Inside the calm ship, with a grand piano, we were shown to a window seat and offered welcome champagne. When I mentioned that I wasn't comfortable with alcohol, they brought us non-alcoholic champagne.
As we set sail, live piano music began, and we started our meal. It began with appetizers, followed by a main lobster salad and fruit sorbet. For our second drink, we had Blue Hawaii, which also had a non-alcoholic option.
During a break in the meal, we stepped out onto the deck to see the sun beginning to set over the ocean, creating a vibrant sunset. I couldn't help but take mental snapshots. On the opposite side, the lights of the hotels along Waikiki Beach started to shine, and it was very beautiful.
When we returned inside, they brought out the main dish, prime tenderloin beef, as if they had been waiting for us, and we enjoyed it along with jazz music. The meat was very tender and cut easily with a knife. The dessert was also very delicious.
The jazz live performance continued until we disembarked, with the staff seeing us off. Although there was a bit of strong wind and swaying, it made me feel like I was truly on a cruise ship, and I was very satisfied.
結婚30年の記念にと、二人とも初めてのハワイへ。ちょっと豪華に5スターコースでの参加でした。
ウェルカムフラに迎えられて乗船すると、最上階である４階までエレベーターで・・・グランドピアノが置いてある落ち着いた船内で、窓際の席に案内され、ウェルカムシャンパン。アルコールが苦手と伝えると、ノンアルコールのシャンパンをもってきてくれました。
出港すると、ピアノの生演奏が始まり、早速食事。前菜に始まり、メインロブスターのサラダとフルーツシャーベット、2杯目の飲み物はブルーハワイ、これもノンアルコールがありました。
ちょっと食事の合間に、デッキに出ると太陽が海に沈みはじめ、鮮やかな夕陽が…思わず心のシャッターをパチリパチリと・・・逆サイドではワイキキビーチ沿いのホテル群の灯りも輝きはじめ、とてもきれいでした。
船内に戻ると、待っていたようにメインであるプライムテンダーロインビーフを持ってきてくれ、ジャズ音楽とともに堪能しました。肉がとても柔らかく、簡単にナイフで切れます。デザートもとてもおいしかったです。
スタッフに見送られての下船までジャズライブが続きました。
ちょっと風が強く横揺れがありましたが、逆にクルーズ船に乗っているんだとの実感も感じられ、とても満足でした。

I rode it for the first time in 30 years. I participated with a pre-reserved champagne buffet. It was enjoyable to interact with people from various countries, and the beauty of the sunset and fireworks was stunning. Dancing on the ship was also fun. I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be better than I thought!

We participated as a family of four. We wanted to join the five-star experience, but we were late in making our reservation and it was fully booked. After reading the reviews, we thought that the three-star experience might be sufficient, so we made a reservation for a window seat with a photo plan.
In the end, we enjoyed the three-star experience very much. The lobster was surprisingly tender and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and also tasted great. We had no complaints about the food or service.
There were many tourists, and the boat was fully packed. A group from Korea was quite loud, so it was good that we had a window seat. The sunset was very beautiful, and we enjoyed the live performance as well. It gets cold when the sun goes down, so it's good to have a jacket.
If anyone is hesitating, I definitely recommend it!

５スターに参加したかったが、予約するのが遅くなり満席に。レビューを読んで３スターでも十分かも？と思い、予約。窓側席&写真つきプラン。
結果、３スターでも十分楽しめました。ロブスターは思ったよりプリプリで美味。ステーキも焼き加減が良く美味しかった。食事、サービスは不満なしでした。
観光客が多く、船内は満席。韓国からの御一行が騒がしく、窓側席にしてよかったです。
夕焼けがとても綺麗で、ライブも楽しめました。日が落ちると寒いので、上着があると良いです。
迷っている方がいたら是非お勧めします！

There were also interesting local English jokes, and with explanations in Japanese, I felt comfortable participating. Before arriving at the sandbar, I was able to see turtles, and I encountered them several times during the activity. It was a bit challenging for my first time on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) due to the wind, but the guide was helpful and showed us safe spots. There were plenty of snacks and drinks, and the coffee was delicious.
Bringing a towel and a change of clothes is essential. You won't have too much, so be prepared for when you come out of the water.

A calm atmosphere suitable for adults. 大人向けの落ち着いた雰囲気

The pickup location was at the Hokulani, but we paid a total of $4 for two people to change it to the Sheraton. At the pickup location, we were given a sticker indicating our participation in the plan. (Photo 1) The driver who came to pick us up was the only person who spoke Japanese and provided various explanations. When we arrived at the pier, there was usually a welcome dance by both men and women, but due to the weather that day, they were not dancing and greeted us with umbrellas instead. Following the staff's guidance, we took the elevator (Photo 2) to the fourth floor. We were shown to our table, where a bottle of champagne was already prepared and poured for us. (We hadn't ordered the champagne, but it seems it was included in the course?) Just as I thought it would be impossible to finish a whole bottle, they collected it after I poured my second glass. It turned out to be a mistake; I got tipsy after just two glasses of champagne.
Since it was our 40th wedding anniversary, we chose a live show with a buffet/course dinner included / a luxurious 5-course meal (with prime tenderloin), and opted for a guaranteed window seat or private seating + a commemorative photo.
From the beginning, a set of snacks was prepared in the center of the table. There were many varieties, and they were delicious. (Photos 3, 4) Each table had a rough outline of the tour and drinks written in both English and Japanese. (Photos 5, 6) For non-alcoholic drinks, I should have asked for a virgin. The non-alcoholic drinks came with a plumeria flower.
The 5-star experience, while not having a washlet compared to the 3-star, had very clean and nice restrooms. When I handed over the card I received during my last 3-star cruise, I was given a keychain. (Photo 7) During the meal, there was a greeting from the captain (female) and interactions from the crew. During breaks in the meal, most people went outside the ship to take commemorative photos.
Before docking, the 5-star experience was lively with jazz and singing. The 3-star became chaotic before docking, involving all the guests. The 5-course allowed us to sit calmly and just listen to the jazz, which I personally preferred for its relaxed adult atmosphere. They provided napkins, but the 3-course required us to break and eat a whole lobster with our hands and tools, which left our hands smelling and dirty. The lobster in the 5-course was split in half, making it easy to eat with a knife and fork.
Two drinks were included, with the drinks shown in the photos: blue Hawaii on the right and strawberry daiquiri on the left (Photo 8), lemon-lime on the right and lava flow on the left (Photo 9).
The atmosphere was calm with jazz (Photo 10), and in the end, we won for being the couple with the longest anniversary at 40 years. There was a dance for the anniversary couples. The last coffee was served black, without milk or sugar, which was bitter for me, perhaps due to the lack of time.
Having taken the Star of Honolulu multiple times, I didn't need the printed photos as they were bulky and unnecessary. After negotiating, I requested the photos in digital format. In addition to the celebration plan, I directly called a Hawaiian company, and for $20, I received two photos on a USB memory stick instead of via the internet. The capacity was 1GB (with 959MB usable), containing the two photos.

結婚40周年なので、ライブショーと選べるビュッフェ／コースディナー付き / 豪華5スター（プライムテンダーロイン付き5コース）、オプションで窓際席またはプライベート席確約+記念写真を選択した。
席には最初から中央におつまみセットが準備されていた。種類が沢山あり美味しかった。（写真３、４）
各テーブルにツアーの大まかな流れ、飲み物等を英語と日本語で書いた物が置いてあった。（写真５，６）アルコール抜きはバージンと頼べばよかった。アルコール抜きにはプリメリアの花が添えてあった。
5スターは3スターに比べればウオシュレットではなかったがトイレも大変きれいで良かった。昨年3スター乗船時くれたカードを渡したら、キーホルダーがもらえた。（写真７）食事中にはキャプテン（女性）の挨拶も、クルーの話しかけもあった。食事の空き時間にほとんどの人は、船外に出て記念写真を撮っていた、
寄港前5スターはジャズと歌で盛り上がる。3スターは寄港前から大騒ぎになり全てのお客が巻き込まれてしまう。5コースは、落ち着いて座ったままで、ジャズを聞いていればいいので私は個人的には落ち着いた大人の雰囲気の5コースが気に入った。おしぼりはくれるけど3コースは丸ごとロブスター1匹を手と道具で割って食べるので、手に匂いがつくし汚れる。5コースのロブスターは半身に割ってあるのでナイフとフオークで楽々食べることが出来た。
ドリンクは2杯付、ドリンクの写真右ブルーハワイと左ストロベリーダイリキ（写真８）、右レモンライムと左ラバフロー（写真９）
ジャズで落ち着いた雰囲気（写真10）、最後は結婚記念日の長さで40年の私達が優勝。記念日のカップルのダンス。最後のコーヒーは時間がなかったせいか、ミルク砂糖なしのブラックで私には苦かった。
何度もスターオブホノルルに乗船しているので利用できない印刷した写真は持って帰るのにかさばるし沢山あっていらない、写真をデータで欲しいと交渉してもらった結果。セレブレーションプランに加え、私が直接ハワイの会社に電話して20$かかったデータでの写真（2枚）の渡しは、インターネットでの送付ではなく当日USBメモリでもらえた。容量は１G（使えるのは959MB）の中に2枚の写真が入っていた。

On the day I arrived in Hawaii, I participated in a sunset cruise. During the pickup, participants receive a sticker to place on their chest and two drink vouchers each. The sticker indicates the floor number of the boat and the table number.
Once on board, we go to get salads and cheese from the buffet. After a while, the boat starts moving, and the course meal and music begin.
According to prior information, casual attire like aloha shirts was suggested, but a Black couple three tables away was dressed formally, which was a bit surprising. The man, sitting with the woman facing away from the sea, told her how beautiful the sunset was and stood up to turn her around to see it. Then, he knelt down, took out a ring, and proposed.
A proposal during a sunset cruise with a beautiful sunset is just wonderful. There was a big round of applause and cheers from the surrounding guests.
As the sun set and the meal came to an end, we began our journey back. In the end, we danced to music like "YMCA," and the venue became one in excitement.
A note of caution: When the boat docks, there is an announcement for the shuttle bus, but they only mention the bus number without providing the hotel name or destination. I later found out that the top number on the sticker given during pickup was the bus number.

最後には、ＹＭＣＡなどの音楽で踊り、会場がひとつになって盛り上がりました。
注意点。船が着岸すると、迎えのバスの案内があるのですが、バスのナンバーを言うだけで、ホテル名などの行き先を教えません。後から分かったことですが、ピックアップの際に渡されたシールの一番上の数字がバスのナンバーでした。

The evening started with a welcome Hawaiian dance, and the tables were decorated with rose flowers, setting the stage for a wonderful dinner to come. As we began, live piano music played swing jazz in the background. We had booked this dinner cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. I made a reservation for Friday to catch the fireworks launched from Waikiki Beach every Friday. The fireworks viewed from the cruise ship were amazing. The shows and singing on board were also fantastic.
However, with that many people, the restrooms felt insufficient. It seemed like there was always a line for the women's restroom...
I highly recommend making a reservation for Friday!!
毎週金曜日にワイキキビーチから打ち上げされる、花火を狙って、金曜日に予約しました。
クルーズ船から見る花火は最高でした。
船内でのショーや歌も最高でした。
ただあの人数では、トイレが少なく感じました。
特に女子トイレは常に渋滞ができてたような・・・
予約するなら金曜日おすすめです！！

We participated as a family of four. The dinner is served buffet-style, allowing you to enjoy your meal while taking in the beautiful scenery. There are about ten different types of dishes, and some include coconut milk, so those who are not fond of it might have limited options. At the end of the tour, you can watch a show featuring hula dancing and other performances. The quality seems to vary, but it looked like the area next door (the more expensive course?) was really lively with a haka performance. To wrap things up, all the guests stood up and danced to the YMCA. My parents, who are approaching their sixties, were shy but had a great time dancing, which made for a wonderful memory (laughs).
家族4人で参加しました。ディナーはビュッフェ形式で美しい景色を見ながらご飯を食べることができます。種類は10種類くらいで、ココナッツミルクとかが使われている料理もあるので苦手な人は食べられるものが限られるかもしれません。ツアーの最後にはフラダンスなどのショーが見れます。クオリティはピンキリな印象ですが、隣のエリア(高いコース？)はハカみたいなのもやっていたようですごく盛り上がってました。最後の締めはゲスト全員が立ってYMCAを踊りました。還暦手前の両親が恥ずかしそうにしながら楽しく踊っていたので、それもまたいい思い出です（笑）

The upper deck was great for taking pictures. We started off with a charcuterie board that had tasty cheeses and fruit. The second course included lobster over a beet salad with a nice puree. My only reservation was the meat which was overcooked in my opinion, but to be fair, I'm sure many people prefer a medium-well filet. Taking pictures in between courses was a huge plus and didn't make us feel confined to the table. Overall, I would recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a good time.

I participated in a five-star dinner cruise this time. Perhaps because it was a weekday (excluding Friday), the exclusive fifth-floor area was quite empty, but the interior of the ship was very luxurious, and having fewer people allowed for a more relaxed experience. The weather was nice, and the views of Diamond Head and the sunset from the ship were beautiful. Fortunately, the crew spotted a whale, which became a wonderful memory. With the five-star experience, there is a private deck, so it might be great for those who want to take photos leisurely from the ship.
I felt that the number of courses was a bit on the lower side, but the portions were generous and the taste was delicious, so I was very satisfied. The cocktails I ordered were all tasty and visually appealing as well. The staff were friendly, making it a very memorable trip.
今回5スターでディナークルーズに参加させて頂きました。平日だった為か(金曜を除く)4Fの5スター専用フロアはかなり空いていましたが、船内はとても豪華な作りで人が少なかった分かなりゆったりと過ごすことが出来ました。天候もよく、船内から見るダイヤモンドヘッドやサンセットはとても綺麗でした。運よくクジラを船員さんが見つけてくれて見れたのもとても良い思い出となりました。5スターだと専用デッキがあるので、船上から写真をゆったり撮りたい方には良いかもしれません。
コース料理の品数は少なめに感じましたが、ボリュームがあって味も美味しかったのでとても満足できました。また注文したカクテルもどれも美味しく見た目も良かったです。
スタッフの方々も感じがよく、とても良い旅の思い出となりました。

This was my fifth sunset dinner cruise on the Star of Honolulu, and no matter how many times I go, I always want to take it when I visit Honolulu. This time, I went with my grandchild, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time.
We were picked up before the scheduled time, which allowed us to smoothly get to the port and board the ship early, so we were able to sit at a very nice window-side seat.
Onboard, we first enjoyed a buffet of fruits and cheese. After that, we savored the course lobster and beef steak while watching the show. In between, we went out on the deck to enjoy the sunset and the views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach, taking plenty of photos.
The show continued right up until just before disembarking, and we had a wonderful time. The singer was very talented, and I was captivated by their performance.
It was the best experience. Thank you very much.

スターオブホノルル号でのサンセット・ディナークルーズは５回目となりますが何回乗船してもホノルルを訪れたら乗りたくなり今回はハワイ島初めての孫と乗船しました。
出発地には定刻前にお迎えが着てスムーズに港へ行き早く乗船出来たので
とても窓側の良い席に座ることが出来ました。
船内では最初に果物とチーズのブッフェコーナーで持って来て食しました。
そのあとはショーを見ながらコースのロブスターやビーフステーキを美味しく頂きました。
合間にはデッキに出てサンセットやダイヤモンドヘッド、ワイキキビーチ等の景色を堪能し写真も沢山撮りました。
下船前直前までショータイムは続きとても楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

On the day we arrived in Hawaii, we checked into the hotel at 3 PM and had a tour pickup at 4:30 PM. We were able to enjoy ourselves without getting too tired, had meals, and watched a show. There was no jet lag either. On the way back, we were also taken back to the hotel, which was convenient. The salad was a bit bitter, which was a problem... But the sunset was beautiful, and we even got to see whales swimming, which felt like a bonus.

The welcome ceremony upon boarding had already ended, and we were just standing at the entrance of the ship.
The space between the seats was narrow, creating a feeling of pressure.
The welcome champagne was only filled halfway, and the glasses were dirty.
I ordered a Mai Tai for my second drink, but it was filled with a lot of ice and very diluted. If you order a drink, I recommend choosing one without ice.
The lobster was delicious, but everything else was not good. The steak, in particular, was rare and seemed like it hadn't been cooked on board. Moreover, even though it was served rare, the menu stated that consuming raw or undercooked meats increases the risk of foodborne illness, which made me question why they would serve it rare.
I made a reservation for Friday to see the Hilton fireworks, but during the fireworks, most passengers rushed to the land side, and despite reserving a window seat, we couldn't see anything. Additionally, people crowded to one side of the ship, causing it to tilt significantly, which was quite scary.
The only positive aspect was the performance of "65 Years of Aloha," where the performers were very energetic and entertaining.
If your goal is to see the fireworks, I think it's more reliable to watch them from land.
Unfortunately, the cost-effectiveness was low.

特にステーキはレアで、船内では調理していないような出来でした。しかもレアで出してきたのにメニューには生や半生の肉類を食べることは食中毒のリスクが高まることをご了承くださいと記載があり、ではなぜレアで提供するのか意味がわからなかったです。
ヒルトンの花火を見るため金曜に予約をしたのですが、花火の時間に乗客のほとんどが陸側に殺到して窓際席を予約したのに全く見られず、しかも船の片方に人が殺到し船がかなり傾き怖かったです。
唯一よかったのは65イヤーズ・オブ・アロハの演出でめちゃくちゃテンションの高い演者がいて楽しめました。
花火目的でしたら陸地から見る方が確実だと思います。
費用対効果は残念ながら低かったです。

The most memorable part of this dinner cruise was being able to enjoy the sunset in Honolulu without any obstruction from buildings, all in a wonderfully fun environment on the water.
The delicious course dinner, the recommended cocktails, and listening to a professional singer accompanied by a piano performance while watching the sunset was just fantastic!
Additionally, it seemed that there were many Japanese guests, and the local staff were accustomed to serving Japanese customers, which made our dinner cruise enjoyable and hassle-free.
However, there was one concern. That was seasickness. The ship didn't sway much, and I was fine, but my wife got seasick and seemed to have little appetite during the first half and middle of dinner. After stepping outside to get some fresh sea air, she started to feel better, and from there, we were able to enjoy dinner.
For those who want to experience a dinner cruise and are aware that they are prone to motion sickness, I strongly recommend taking anti-nausea medication beforehand. A special memory of your Hawaii trip could turn into an unpleasant one...
In conclusion, we took this dinner cruise on the last night of our Hawaii trip and were able to create the best memories of our time there. If you're on the fence about it, I definitely recommend participating in this tour!
今回のディナークルーズに参加して、一番思い出に残ったことは、ホノルルの夕焼けを他の建物の邪魔なく、すごい楽しい環境で海の上から見れたことです。
美味しいコースディナーを食べ、オススメのカクテルを頂き、プロのピアノ演奏に合わせてプロの歌手の歌を聞きながらの夕焼けは最高でした！
また、日本人のお客も多いのか、現地の従業員の方も日本人対応に慣れており、特に不便なく楽しくクルーズディナーを終えることができました。
しかし、1つ気がかりだった点があります。それは、船酔いです。
船内は大した揺れもなく、私は何事もなかったのですが、妻が船酔いしてしまい、ディナーの前半、中盤は食欲がなさそうでした。
船外にでて海風に当たってから調子が良くなり、そこからディナーを楽しむことができました。
これから、ディナークルーズを体験したいと思う方で、車酔いや船酔いしやすいと自覚がある方は、事前に酔い止めを飲んでおく事を強くオススメします。せっかくの特別なハワイ旅行の思い出が嫌な思い出になるかもしれないので...
最後になりますが、
私達はこのクルーズディナーをハワイ旅行の最後の夜に行き、ハワイでの最高の思い出を作ることができました。

So much fun!! I was a little nervous at first to bring my daughter because it is a bar and she is only 16 (although very mature for her age), but it was our last day in Hawaii and we had already checked out of the hotel, and she wanted to go, so I thought what the heck. She had a great time hanging out on the lounging splash nets and “jumping” the waves. The crew and other passengers were great too, kept her entertained and sipping on POG juice while her mama had a few mai tais. What a wonderful way to end our vacation in Hawaii! Highly recommend it.

I thought it was a little expensive at first for a 90-minute cruise but when I heard there was an open bar included, I couldn’t believe it. I had sooo many drinks lol. The music was great and the sunset was just too pretty. I also made a few local friends who said they do this cruise all the time. We kept hanging out after and they took me to their favorite bar in SALT in Kaka’ako so we could keep the party going. Mahalo!

Hubby and I wanted a fun night out for our first night in Hawaii, but we didn’t want to shell out for a fancy dinner cruise, so this was the perfect fit. There weren’t many people out since it was a weekday so the vibe was chill and perfect. The crew was friendly and attentive and made sure we had a great time. Don’t miss it!

This was my second time on the sunset dinner cruise. It was truly a wonderful show, no matter how many times I see it.
However, I had requested a surprise cake for my family's birthday, and unfortunately, the staff forgot to bring it out... (I understand they were busy).
In the end, they brought it out just as the cruise was ending, but we couldn't eat it and had to take it home. Given the high temperature, the cream melted, and it ended up being ruined. It became a memorable experience, but not in a good way.

何度見ても本当に素晴らしいショーでした。
ただ、家族のバースデーのためにサプライズで頼んでおいたケーキをスタッフの方がまさかの出し忘れ・・・（忙しいのは分かりますが）
結局終わり掛けに出してくれたのですが、食べれず持ち帰ることになり、気温も高いことからクリームは解けるはで結局台無しになってしまいました。
悪い意味で思い出になりました。

The dinner cruise in Hawaii was a wonderful experience and created great memories! I participated through 5 Star, and the food was incredibly delicious, with an amazing atmosphere! During the cruise, there were piano performances and singing, which are things you can't easily experience in the streets of Hawaii. I joined as part of my honeymoon, and I'm really glad I did! Besides the participation itself, the plan was easy to join with services like photo opportunities and transportation close to the hotel, so for those considering it, I definitely recommend giving it a try!

We participated as a family this time. The food was very delicious. The staff couldn't speak much English, but they kindly helped us by putting together words. Since it was Friday, we were able to see the beautiful fireworks from the Hilton Hotel, which was great. After that, there was a climax show, and the hula dance was interesting, but the best part was when everyone on the boat sang and danced to the YMCA song together. I recommend joining this tour on a Friday. Just be careful as the boat sways a bit, so watch out for seasickness.

料理もとてもおいしかったです。店員さんも英語が話せないけど単語を組っとて下さり親切にしてくださいました。
金曜日だったのでヒルトンホテルからの花火がすごくきれいで見れたのはよかったです。
そのあとにクライマックスショーがあり、フラダンスも面白かったのですが、最後YMCAの曲を船に乗っていた人みんなで熱唱し踊ったりしたのがすごくよかったです。
このツアーに参加するなら金曜日がおすすめです。
後船が少し揺れるので船酔いに注意ですね。
