Booked a sunset cruise for Valentines Day 2023 with my sweetie. We had a blast! Saw whales and dolphins and had lots of laughs with the friendly and engaging crew. The drinks were great and the appetizer platter they present to each person was delicious! Shrimp, fresh fruit, hummus and crackers, cheese...yum! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and they gave us roses and champagne as a special VDay treat. Thanks everyone!

We took this cruise to celebrate my husband's birthday. The cruise was wonderful. We enjoyed the food and the entertainment.
Check in was simple and organized.
I was able to get my parking validated by purchasing coffee at a shop before checking in.
We saw a whale in the distance while on this cruise.

To say the Star of Honolulu is a fabulous ship is an understatement!
We were both so impressed the minute we walked up beside her! We really enjoyed everything about our evening! The dancers were so sweet as they welcomed us onboard, our window seats were great, the food was really good, and such a fun atmosphere! Our only complaint was their decision to serve crab legs as part of our meal plan. It was delicious, but just a messy food item to pair with our nice dress clothes & date night. And the views of coastline & Waikiki Beach were phenomenal! I had booked the Friday night cruise, hoping to view the Friday night fireworks off the beach ... but the weather changed those plans on us, which was understandable, we still really enjoyed! This was our first time experiencing a sunset dinner cruise ... and we both said we can't wait to go again on the Star of Honolulu!

The view of the land from the sea was incredibly beautiful. The sunset was also wonderful. However, as the day went on, the wind picked up and it got quite cold, so I spread out the beach towel I brought and used it to sit on and cover my shoulders. It might be a good idea to bring a jacket during this time. Although there was an all-you-can-drink option, it was too cold, and I could only have one drink at the start. When the catamaran set sail, everyone started dancing to the upbeat music and stood up to take photos, creating a very cheerful atmosphere. Although Japanese was not spoken, the vibe was very lively.

This was a lovely experience. The jazz singer was incredibly fun and talented. The food was excellent. The servers (Collin and Rob) were incredibly kind and attentive. The sunset was stunning. Finally, the Polynesian show was lovely and a great way to end the night. I would come again.

サンセットを逃さないちょうど良い時間、完璧なタイミングで運ばれてくるお料理、楽しいショータイム、このお値段で盛りだくさんの納得の内容でした。
特にカニが美味しかったですし、全体の量も十分でした。
デッキからはワイキキの夕景や空港から飛び立つ飛行機が見えてとても綺麗です。
ただ、満席だった場合は隣の人と肩や肘がぶつかるくらいの距離感で仕切りのアクリル板などは無いので、そういうのが気になる方はご注意を。

What a great & wonderful experience. This was our first time to do this type of event and we were blown away. Staff and crew were so professional and courteous! My expectations were definitely exceeded! I will return to the Star of Honolulu and next time we are bringing my daughter and her boyfriend. Food was prepared and cooked to perfection! At the dockside check-in they were very helpful. I just showed my confirmation email and she gave us out boarding passes. The dockside hula show was good. They had 2 musicians playing and 3 dancers, it wasn't Cirque Du Soleil but if thats what your expecting go to Las Vegas!!
I loved the meal. The purple bread (made with Ube) was good, it tasted like the Kings Hawaiian Rolls! The steaks are cooked medium rare, which I enjoy but was too under cooked for my wife. Even since she didnt eat her steak she still was full with the Crab and Chicken. The ice cream was delicious. The Mai Tai's were on point.
Our server was perfect. Very attentive to our needs, conversational without being annoying. Extremely gracious and appreciative.
