I had a great time paddleboarding at Kailua Beach. The waves were relatively calm, so even though it was my first time in the ocean, I managed pretty well. However, it was a bit challenging to carry my own equipment from the office to the beach. It was surprisingly heavy. I was satisfied because I could spend my time as I liked!

波も穏やかな方だったので、海での初めてでしたがまぁまぁできました。
ただオフィスからビーチまで自分で道具を持って行かなければならないので、ちょっと大変です。
意外と重いです。
自分の好きに過ごせるので満足でした‼︎

The instructors were very enthusiastic, and I enjoyed the time on the boat while searching for dolphins. I was truly moved when I actually saw the dolphins! Thank you!

When we arrived at the port, a suspiciously named boat called "Dangerous" came to greet us (laughs). Although they didn't speak Japanese, I could feel the staff's consideration. There was a manual in Japanese.

As soon as we set off, we saw a large group of dolphins swimming! The boat rocked quite a bit, and since I had read reviews, I took motion sickness medication beforehand. By the return trip, about half the people were feeling groggy, so the medication is essential.

Also, it was cold! Perhaps due to the weather, the sea at the activity site was chilly, and the return boat was extremely cold, so it's necessary to prepare for that. There were quite a few sharks. We could see them in groups for about ten minutes. At first, it was thrilling, but I gradually got used to it.

It was a great experience to snorkel with sharks, something you don't get to do often.

港へつくと「危ない」という怪しげな名前の船がお迎えに来てくれました（笑）日本語は通じないですが、スタッフの方がの気遣いがわかりました。
日本語での説明書はありました。
出発するとすぐにイルカの大群が泳いでるのが見れました！
船はかなり揺れます、口コミを見ていたので酔い止めを飲んでいきました。
帰りには半分くらいの人がグロッキーになっていましたので、酔い止めは必須です。
あと、寒い！天気のせいか実施場所の海も冷めで帰りの船がめちゃくちゃ寒いので対策必要です。
サメは結構いました。だいたいグループで１０分見れる感じです。
最初はドキドキでしたが、さすがにだんだん慣れてきます。
なかなか体験できないサメとのシュノーケル良かったです。

The captain and crew were great. Everyone on the boat had a great time. Bring a small cooler with your favorite beverages, sit back and relax. It was a fun time. Will definitely do it again. It's only a two hour or so trip but we'll worth the money.

This is my second year taking on the challenge. Last year, I had a photo with my wife, but this year I planned to attempt the 150 meters alone. However, since solo flights weren't allowed, it turned into a 150-meter trial with three people.

Once we were in the air, it was truly high. I could see the Hilton skyscraper and Diamond Head at the same eye level.

Next year, I definitely want to come with my family and let the kids take on the challenge.

２年続けてのチャレンジです。
昨年は奥さんとのツーショットでしたが、今年は僕一人150ｍに挑戦しようと思っていました。ところが一人でのフライトは出来ないという事で３人での
150ｍトライになりました。
空に上がると本当に高かったです。ヒルトンの高層ビルや、ダイヤモンドヘッドも同目線で確認できました。
来年も是非家族ときて子供たちにチャレンジさせてあげたいと思います。

I always use this bus from the hotel in Hawaii to the airport. You can feel safe being transported by foreign drivers, so I definitely recommend using it.

ハワイのホテルから空港までは、必ずこのバスを利用しています。
外国人ドライバーでも安心して送迎してもらえますので是非利用されたらいいと思います。

This is our third time participating as a senior couple. The sea can be quite challenging with the wind, so we decided to paddle leisurely in the calm canals where there are no waves or wind. While enjoying the views of golf courses and vacation homes, we were occasionally greeted by dogs, and we made a round trip to the lake (pond) in two hours. It was a fulfilling time.
Note: When paddling, your lower legs can get quite sunburned, so be sure to take thorough sun protection measures!

シニア世代の夫婦で 今回で 3回目の参加になります。 海は風もあり 大変なので 風も波もない運河を ゆったりと漕ぐことにしています。 ゴルフ場や別荘地を眺めながら 時折犬の歓迎を受けて 、奥の湖(池)まで2時間かけて往復しました。 充実した時間でした。
注意事項 ： 漕いでいると膝下がかなり焼けます 念入りな日焼け対策を‼︎

The pickup was about 15 minutes late.
It’s a car marked with "Keana Farm Zipline," so you can just wait at the meeting point.

The instructors can understand simple Japanese.
However, the explanations for the zipline and during the ride were in English, so I couldn't understand the conversations or jokes.
There was a spot along the way where we could break and eat bananas and macadamia nuts.
Communication with the instructors was manageable, so it was fine.
It was really fun!
You can bring your own camera; I had my iPhone, but I thought a GoPro would have been better.

送迎は15分遅れぐらいで来ました。
ケアナファームジップラインと書かれた車なので集合場所で待っていれば大丈夫です。

インストラクターさんたちは簡単な日本語なら通じます。
ですが、ジップラインの説明や回っている最中は英語なので会話やジョークなどがわからなかったです。
途中でバナナやマカダミアを割って食べれるところがありました。
インストラクターさんたちとのコミュニケーションはなんとかなるので大丈夫です。
とっても楽しかったです！
カメラも持ち込み可で、iPhoneを持ってたのですが、GoProのが良かったなと思いました。

I thought it would be easy, but in reality, it was quite difficult to master the technique of standing and paddling—laughs. However, sitting down makes it easy even for beginners. My husband seemed to have good balance and, although he was a beginner, he was smoothly paddling while standing.

We paddled to a small island, and it was definitely worth the effort!!! It was so beautiful!! I took a lot of photos and was very satisfied☆ The instructor, Mieko, gave precise explanations!! All the other staff members were also wonderful and made it very enjoyable to play. We were able to bike to the nearby Lanikai Beach, the food was delicious, and we had a great time from start to finish!! Thank you very much♪

簡単に出来そうと思っていましたが実際はコツがなかなか掴めず立って漕ぐのは難しかった～笑　座ってなら初心者の人でも簡単に出来ます。旦那さんはバランス感覚が良いみたいで初心者だけど立ってスイスイ漕いでいました。
小さな島まで漕ぎましたが頑張っていく価値はあります!!!とにかくキレイ!!沢山写真を撮ってもらい大満足☆インストラクターのミエコさんの説明は的確です!!他のスタッフの方も全員対応がすばらしく良くとっても気持ちよく遊べました。隣のラニカイビーチにも自転車で行けたし、ご飯もおいしかったし、何から何までとことん楽しめました!!ありがとうございました♪

I was supposed to be picked up at the hotel, but since no car arrived at all, I called customer service. They said they left because they couldn't meet me at the designated spot. I was told to take a taxi, but I was informed that it was too late and asked if I could change the date instead. I was at a loss for words due to their attitude, especially since I was looking forward to the fireworks.

It's puzzling why we couldn't meet at the designated spot, which was just the hotel parking area and not that large. The hotel staff had also told me that it was fine to wait on this bench, so I wasn't late for the meeting time.

I was able to change the date and board the boat the next day. The scenery and the food were both very good.

ホテルにピックアップに来てくれるはずが、全然車が来ないのでカスタマーサービスに電話したら、待ち合わせ場所で会えなかったから行ってしまったとのこと。タクシーで来てください、あーでももう時間が間に合わないですね、日にち変更できますけど？と素っ気なく言われました。花火を楽しみにしていたのに、向こうの対応に言葉が出ませんでした。
待ち合わせ場所はホテルの駐車スペースでそんなに広い場所でもないのに、なぜ会えなかったのか不思議でたまりません。ホテルのスタッフにも、このベンチで待っていればいいよと言われたので、こちらが待ち合わせの時間に遅れたわけでもありません。
翌日に変更してもらって船に乗ることはできました。景色も料理もとてもよかったです。

Since I applied on my home computer just before departure, I left without confirming the pickup location and time, which made me really anxious about whether I could participate. Just to be safe, after arriving in Hawaii, I called the local contact number and checked my page to confirm the location and other details. When I called the local contact, I couldn't understand much as they spoke in Japanese, but I soon received a call from someone who could speak Japanese, which made me feel relieved and able to participate. There were three groups of foreigners and two groups of Japanese, including my family, totaling 12 people on the boat. My son and I flew together. The view of Diamond Head in the distance and the blue ocean from above was very beautiful. I didn't find it too scary, but my son seemed to be scared and couldn't let go of both hands, so he couldn't take pictures with his smartphone. (Photos are available for purchase at $30 for a CD with the data for those who want them.) The piloting technique of taking off from the back of the boat, dipping into the sea up to the waist, and landing at the back was impressive. The minimum items to bring when participating are a swimsuit, cash or a card, sandals (which you take off when flying), and if you have them, a T-shirt or other top, a towel, and sunglasses.

出発間際に自宅のパソコンで申し込んだため，ピックアップ場所と時間の確定を待たずの出国となり，本当に参加が出来るか不安でした。念のため，ハワイ到着後に現地の連絡場所へ電話したり，マイページで確認して場所等を確認しました。現地の連絡先へ電話すると日本語は通じず何を言われているかほとんど分かりませんでしたが，すぐに日本語の通じる方から電話があり，安心して参加が出来ました。ボートへは外国の方が３組と日本の方が私達家族を含めて２組の12名で乗船しました。息子と三人で飛びました。遠くに見えるダイヤモンドヘッドや上空から見る青い海はとてもきれいでした。私はあまり怖いと思いませんでしたが，息子は怖かったようで両手を放す事が出来ずにスマホで写真が撮れていませんでした。（写真は３０ドルでデータの入ったCDカードの販売が希望者へあります）ボートの後部から空へ飛び，海に腰まで海水へ浸からせそして後部で着陸する操船テクはさすがでした。参加時に持って行った方がいい物は最低限であれば水着，現金かカード，飛ぶ時は脱ぐがサンダルで，あれば良いものはTシャツ等の上着，タオル，サングラスくらいです。

I use Roberts Hawaii every time, so I don't have much to say about it now, but I am grateful for how easy it is to use. I will use it again next time.

毎回、ロバーツハワイを利用していますので、今更感想もないのですが、利用しやすいことだけは、感謝しています。次回も利用します。

I have been using their services every time I visit. Last year on the Big Island of Hawaii, and this year on Maui and Oahu, I have decided to use Roberts Hawaii for airport and hotel transfers. The year before last, I had an inexperienced driver, and after circling around various hotels, we finally arrived in front of my hotel. However, during that time, I experienced the not-so-funny incident of passing my destination hotel multiple times, but in the end, I did reach my destination, so I consider it acceptable. I plan to continue using their services in the future.

毎回訪問時には、利用させていただいております。昨年のハワイ島、今年のマウイ島とオアフ島と、いずれも空港とホテルの送迎には、ロバーツハワイと決めています。一昨年は、不慣れなドライバーに当たったため、あちこちのホテルを巡回した後、ようやくホテルの前に到着しましたが、その間、何度も目的地のホテル前を通過したという笑えない事件も経験しましたが、結果的には目的地に着けましたので良しとします。今後も同社を利用するつもりです。

After being picked up at the hotel in Waikiki, we traveled for about an hour in the van to the North Shore. If you're worried about motion sickness, I recommend taking some medication beforehand.

Once we arrived, we were guided to the sandbar by a humorous guide and crew members.

If you wish to go snorkeling, you'll receive a brief lesson and wear a life jacket before walking a few meters from the sandbar and swimming out into the ocean.

It was enjoyable to see sparkling fish and turtles swimming leisurely around the sandbar. During the boat ride to and from the location, we learned about the history of the sandbar and Hawaii, which was very educational.

If I have the chance to travel to Hawaii again, I would love to participate in this activity once more.

ワイキキのホテルでピックアップしてもらったあとにノースショアまで行くのでおおよそ1時間くらいはバンに揺られます。
心配な方は酔い止めを飲んでおくのが良いかと思います。

現地に着いてからはユーモラスなガイドとクルーの方にサンドバーを案内してもらえます。

シュノーケリングを希望する場合は簡単なレッスンを受けて救命胴衣を着用した上でサンドバーから数m歩いて沖を泳ぎます。

キラキラとした魚やサンドバーを悠々と泳ぐ亀を見ることが出来て楽しかったです。
行き帰りの船上ではサンドバーが産まれた経緯やハワイの歴史を説明して貰え、勉強になりました。

次にハワイに旅行することがあってもまた、参加させて貰いたいなと思います。

I participated in the 150m event.
I was impressed by the beautiful sea and the view of Waikiki.
The shuttle driver was humorous, and even if you're not confident in your English, you can still enjoy the tour.
I thought it might be a bit dull to take our own photos, so I declined the suggestion for a photoshoot.

綺麗な海とワイキキの街を一望できて感動しました。
送迎ドライバーがユーモラスな方で、ツアーも含めてですが、英語に自信が無くてもちゃんと楽しめます。
写真は自分たちで撮れば良いかなと考えて野暮かも知れませんが撮影の提案は断りました。

This Booze Cruise is the best value and highlight of our Waikiki trip. Strong drinks, great waves, fun music, what's not to love? Can't wait to do it again!

I ended up lining up at the wrong meeting point for a different catamaran and was shocked when they told me just before boarding, "Your voucher is wrong! You're supposed to be at a different place!" I dashed barefoot across the sandy beach and just made it in time (laughs). The sunset was amazing, and there were few Japanese people on board, no children, so I was able to enjoy an adult atmosphere.

It was a bit nerve-wracking, but I definitely recommend the catamaran over the cruise!

違うカタマランの集合場所に並んでしまい、乗船ギリギリに「バウチャーが違う！私達が乗るのは違う場所だ！」と言われビックリしました。砂浜を裸足でダッシュして何とかセーフ(笑)夕日が素晴らしく、船内も日本人は少く、子供も居ず、大人の世界で楽しめました。
ハラハラしたけどクルーズより絶対にカタマランをオススメします！

We participated as a couple. Since it was an afternoon tour, the water level seemed a bit high, reaching about waist height. It was sunny and beautiful, but... We spotted turtles several times as they were being fed. The lunch was a buffet style and delicious.

夫婦で参加しました。午後のツアーだったので、水位は少し高かったみたいで、腰くらいありました。晴れててキレイではありましたが。。亀は餌付けされているので、何度も目撃ました。お昼ご飯は、バイキング形式で美味しかったです。

Me and my 3 friends had such a great time with the Manu Kai Cruise. The crew was so nice, funny, and knowledgeable, and we got up close and personal with spinner dolphins. They were even very caring and helpful when one of us got a bit seasick. 100% recommend.

The advance reservation for the shuttle is always helpful. It's also nice that it includes the tip, as I tend to forget about that.

The staff was lively and it was fun. However, it might not be suitable for those who are prone to motion sickness... Even taking motion sickness medication didn't help (tears).

Overall, it was a fun tour that really got everyone excited. The duration was short, so you can make the most of your day. Of course, the view from the sandbar was amazing.

全体的に盛り上げてくれるツアーで楽しかった。
時間も短時間なので、１日が有効に使えます。
もちろん、サンドバーの景色は最高でした。

I went to the point and swam in the cage, but the swaying was intense, and the time I could enjoy was reduced. Motion sickness medication is a must. The sharks were smaller than I expected, and they seemed accustomed to humans, so they weren't particularly intimidating.

サメも思っていたより小さく人間慣れしているのか特に迫力はなかったです。

I challenged myself to 150m! The local guide was lively and kept the participants engaged while leading us. The location is a harbor that is about a 10 to 20-minute walk along the coast from the Waikiki area, on the opposite side of Diamond Head, so you can enjoy the scenery while walking there. It might actually be faster to walk than to take a car.

The tip is $10 per person, and the photo data purchase was around $30, if I remember correctly. It's nearly impossible to take photos by ourselves, so we bought the SD card filled with memories to take home. There are many photo data files, and some of them are quite funny (the guide added a little extra touch to some photos). Definitely worth buying!

It was fun! However, the boat is small until you take off into the sky, so it sways a lot. Even with motion sickness medication, I felt a bit queasy, so be prepared! My wife usually doesn't get seasick, but she ended up feeling sick on the boat.

現地ガイドの方がノリ良く参加者をまとめながら進行してくれます。
場所もワイキキ地区からなら海沿いをダイヤモンドヘッドの反対側に歩いて10分から20分にあるハーバーなので景色眺めながら散歩してすぐ着きます。車の送迎より歩い方が早いかも。
チップは1人10ドルづつと写真データの購入に30ドル？だったかな？
自分達で写真撮るのはほぼ不可能なので思い出の詰まったSDカードは購入して帰りました。
沢山の写真データがあり中には面白く写っているものもあります。（ガイドさんが一手間加えた写真があります。）買うべき！
楽しかったです！が空に飛んで行くまで船が小さくので揺れが凄いです。酔い止め飲んでも少し船酔いしますので覚悟してください！
妻は普段船酔いなどしませんが船酔いしてしまいました。

I have never felt so seasick from the boat's rocking during the journey. It was the worst I've ever experienced in my life. The actual event felt relaxed and leisurely without any thrill.

道中の船揺れで未だ嘗てないほど酔いました。人生で一番。本番はスリルなくのんびりしている感じでした。。

I easily found the counter for Roberts Hawaii. There was a staff member who spoke Japanese, and they smoothly guided us to the pickup area, making us feel like the most important customers. It seemed like the roads were congested, so we waited a little for the shuttle to arrive. (In the meantime, I was able to use the time to switch out the SIM card I had prepared.)

I think it depends on the location of the hotel, but since my hotel was the last stop, it took about an hour as we went to five hotels before mine. Both the driver and the staff were kind.

ロバーツハワイのカウンターは迷わず分かりました。日本語を話すスタッフがいらしてスムーズに乗り場まで案内して下さいまして、私達が一番の客のようでした。道が混んでるようで送迎車到着まで少し待ちました。(その間に用意しておいたsimカードを入れ替えたりして時間を使えました)
ホテルの場所にもよると思いますが、私の滞在ホテルが一番最後でしたので前に5つほどホテルを回りましたので1時間ほどかかりました。ドライバーさんもスタッフの方も優しかったです。

This is Hawaii time! My first impression is that I will come back! This is my fifth year in Hawaii. This time, I'm staying for three weeks, so I'm challenging myself to snorkeling, something I've never done before. My wife can't swim at all, so she has been practicing at a nearby pool for a year, but in reality, she hasn't been able to go much and still can't breathe properly while swimming. The day before the tour, we practiced just the arm movements of the breaststroke at the hotel pool (saltwater pool). Is this level okay??? Both my wife and I are 70 years old. The large bus at Sheraton Aloha Landing was full, which shows its popularity. The rain stopped, and the cloudy sky was a relief. Water volleyball was more difficult and fun than I expected. We watched turtles, ate delicious BBQ hamburgers, and went snorkeling for the first time. My wife held onto me while colorful fish swam within reach. We quickly got used to snorkeling, and it was a blissful time.

これぞハワイの時間！また来るぞ！と言うのが第1の感想。ハワイ5年目。今回は3週間の長期滞在なので、これまで一度も無かった、シュノーケリングにチャレンジ。家内は全く泳げないので、1年前から近くのプールで練習していたが、現実にはなかなか行けず、まだ息継ぎができない。今回のツアーの前日ホテルのプール(海水プール)で、平泳ぎの腕の動きだけ練習。こんなレベルで大丈夫？？？家内も私も70歳。シェラトンアロハランディングで大型バスが満杯。人気の程が伺える。雨もあがって曇り空が助かる。水上バレーも思った以上に難しく、面白い。カメを眺め、美味しいBBGハンバーガーを食べて、初シュノーケリング。家内は私につかまりながら。色とりどりの魚が手が届くところで泳いでいる。すぐにシュノーケリングにも慣れ、至福の時間。

I visit every year, more than 10 times. Each time, I enjoy the different colors of the sea and the varying water levels. The one thing that never changes is the instructor, YUKIKO. She always greets us with her exceptionally cheerful smile. This year (June 28, 2019), I will go with my sister.

毎年通い詰めて、１０回以上。毎回、海の色と水の量が違い楽しんでいます。
ちっとも変わらないのがインストラクターのYUKIKO。とっびきりのご機嫌な笑顔で迎えてくれます。
今年は（２０１９年６月２８日）おねいちゃんと二人で行きますね。

It was amazing to see the beautiful white sea and the sea turtles swimming gracefully up close. It was my first time being able to see sea turtles that closely. The guide was very lively and made the experience enjoyable throughout.

白い美しい海と、優雅に泳ぐウミガメを間近で見られたのが最高でした。あんなに近くでウミガメを見ることができたのは初めてでした。ガイドの方のノリがたくさん盛り上げてくれて、終始楽しい時間を過ごせました。

Real friendly, helpful crew. Enjoyed every minute of the tour. My only complaint was the lack snacks and refreshments. The only thing that was available was rice crispy treats and water. Had we known that this was all that was available, we would have brought our own.
