This time, I participated in Dolphin & You for the first time. The weather was decent, and after setting sail, I was able to see turtles and flying fish, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see any dolphins. Since they are wild dolphins, I understand that this can happen. However, the staff's bright smiles and their efforts to create a lively atmosphere made the experience enjoyable, even though it was disappointing not to see dolphins. I left the boat vowing to try again next time. Next year, I will definitely see dolphins! I’m looking forward to my next trip to Hawaii even more.

今回、初めてドルフィン＆ユーに参加しました。
お天気もまあまあで、出航後カメや飛び魚には逢えましたが・・・残念ながらドルフィンには逢えませんでした。
野生のドルフィンですので、こんなこともあるかなとは思います。
しかし、スタッフの明るい笑顔や場を盛り上げる対応で、ドルフィンに逢えなかったことはすごく残念でしたが、楽しいひと時を過ごすことが出来ました。

This time, our family of four (with a 4-year-old and a 1.5-year-old) participated. We were excited as we headed to Sea Life Park! For a while, my 4-year-old brother was scared and hesitant about the water. However, when a dolphin swam right in front of him and he got to touch it, his excitement skyrocketed, and he seemed to have a great time. My 1.5-year-old brother also managed to touch the dolphin while crying, feeling both surprised and happy.

Touching, kissing, and shaking hands with the dolphin was truly a wonderful memory.

The photos (shots with the dolphin) and DVDs sold in the park are quite expensive, but I thought they would be a nice keepsake, so I purchased photos and a DVD for all four of us. I haven't watched the DVD yet, but it was reassuring that we could see samples when purchasing it.

I participated in a Japanese-language tour. Naturally, all the participants were Japanese, making it feel as if I were in Japan, but I was glad I chose a Japanese tour because I didn't miss any of the suddenly appearing fish. I was able to see many more fish than I expected, including sharks, rays, and sea turtles! I was torn between a premium tour and a regular one, but I had plenty of fun on the regular tour.

I participated in the Premium Submarine tour with a total of 11 family members, relatives, and friends. It was a very valuable experience to see turtles swimming and even sharks. Everyone was thrilled, and I'm glad we joined. However, the boat ride to and from the submarine can make you seasick, and some people who joined us got sick, so if you're prone to motion sickness, taking anti-nausea medication is a must!

Before heading to the sea, I was taught how to stand on the board inside the shop. The instructor taught me in broken Japanese, but once we got into the water, the instructor spoke only English except for a few phrases like "paddle," "stand," "come here," and "danger." I don't understand English at all, so even if I had questions or things I wanted to know, I couldn't get my point across, which made me anxious in the water.

I had surfed once in Japan just for fun, so I could manage somewhat without starting from scratch, but my companion was a complete beginner and not very athletic, so they struggled with paddling. I felt like we were left to fend for ourselves, and I don't think it was a very good school.

There were about four instructors in the water (with many students), and one of the Black instructors was particularly strict, to the point of being harsh. He would push his board towards students in front of him without any concern, which could have caused serious accidents.

I think it would be tough for someone with no surfing experience and no understanding of English.

海の中の先生は４人くらいいましたが（生徒はいっぱい）、そのうちの黒人の先生は特に厳しいというか、ひどかったです。前に生徒がいるのにそこに向かって平気でボードを押されたりして、ぶつかったら一大事なのに。。。

サーフィンの経験が全くなく、英語も全くわからない方は厳しいと思います。

I found out that the Dolphin Encounter I had booked in advance wouldn't allow me to swim with the dolphins, so I upgraded to the Royal Swim for an additional $100.

This Royal Swim experience was a lot of fun as I got to be pushed by two dolphins and even stand on the water's surface, which was a bit acrobatic. However, since there were nearly 10 participants during that time, I only had about 10 minutes in total to touch and play with the dolphins (I was in the same pool for about 45 minutes).

At $200 for just 10 minutes of interaction, it felt a bit pricey, so I recommend asking at the reception to change to a time when there are fewer people (you'll need some English negotiation skills as Japanese won't be understood). The group after us had only three people and got to play with three dolphins, so I think that was a better deal.

現地で事前に申し込んでいたDolphin Encounterはイルカと泳げないことが分かり、一気にRoyal Swimにアップグレードしました。(＋$100)　
このRoyal Swimコースは2頭のイルカに足を押してもらい、水面に立てるようなちょっとアクロバティックなことができてとても楽しかったです。ただ、参加者が10人近くいた時間帯だったので、私がイルカを触ったり遊べた時間は合計で10分程度(同じプール内には45分くらいいました)

I thought it would be scary, but when I actually went up in the air, I was moved by the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Even though the wind was strong, there was hardly any shaking, and I regretted not bringing my camera.

While I was up there, a rainbow appeared, which made the experience even more amazing. I think it lasted less than 10 minutes, but I was completely satisfied. I felt like I wanted to try it again and again. The staff only spoke English, but they were bold and fun people. Those who can't speak any English might feel anxious, but I think as long as you understand some words, you'll have no problem enjoying it.

I highly recommend it!

I took my girlfriend to the Navatek Sunset Dinner Cruise, and it was very romantic and fun. We booked the Royal Package, so we were taken to the upstairs which was much better than standard in the downstairs (i think!). The foods were great, and we couldn't even finish the three (3) drink tickets we received. The guy who was singing and playing the guitar for us that night was fantastic. The boat itself was pretty stable, and even though I was worried that I would get seasick, neither of us did. :)

For the foods, drinks, entertainment we got, I would recommend this cruise to anyone! Our server, Jenn, was very pleasant as well.

Great food, a great staff, and a beautiful boat. What you would expect from a non-private romantic dinner cruise. Got the 5 drinks per person included but didn't have time to finish all the drinks. Window seat was nice but doesn't allow for the best view of the dancers and performers on the stage . I would definitely recommend it as for the price you get everything expected.

I love parasailing, so whenever I go to a resort abroad, I always do it. The extreme height is quite impressive. Flying over the ocean while feeling the wind is the best! It feels amazing! The view of Honolulu is also great. Towards the end, you splash down into the water up to your waist. Overall, it was so much fun!

However, since most of the instructions were in English, I was a bit confused about which car to take on the way back.

We went parasailing for our honeymoon with my husband for the first time! Everyone else participating was a foreigner, but they all friendly talked to us and we took pictures of each other. Most of the explanations were in English, but important points were explained with gestures and in Japanese. The instructor was also very lively, shaking the ropes and playfully dropping us into the sea, which made it a lot of fun. Since it was our honeymoon, the instructor kindly celebrated with everyone at the end.

I was a bit confused about where to go before and after the ride, but there was a natural flow, so I just followed everyone.

There was no waiting time, and the view of the sea and Diamond Head from above is a must-see!

The weather on the day was perfect, truly ideal for parasailing! The view from the sky was wonderful and felt great. The staff were very friendly, and we had a fun time. I highly recommend it.

We just purchased the general admission which starts at 4pm til 9pm Friday, 9/14.
We thought that when we get there there will be entertainment in each island that was presented but to our surprise some of the islands are empty. No performers. We did the canoe ride wherein you don't really see much entertainment, just showed us the different cultures of diff. islands.
The Cultural show was the best. But because of the site where we seat we could not really see it very well.
But we had a great time.

Suggestion: It would be nice if you have some more choices of menu in the snack bar for those guests that did not buy the package with the dinner and the luau so they can also enjoy the food even if they have to buy it themselves.

I was filled with excitement!

As for the experience, after setting sail, we were hurried into the sea with "Hurry, hurry!!"
The local staff guided us with "Right! Left! Down!" and when we looked in those directions, there were so many dolphins!
When the dolphins swam away, we got back on the boat and moved to another spot. (This time we went into the sea three times.)
We then moved to the next spot.
We swam with fish and sea turtles. It was a canoe experience.
After about 40 minutes of fun, we docked while eating cheeseburgers.
On land, we had a hula experience for about 30 minutes.

The water clarity wasn't very high, but there were so many dolphins right in front of us, almost like a video!
I could hear the dolphins communicating!
Dolphins jumped right in front of us!

I was lucky enough to see two sea turtles up close, within touching distance!

I don't think the price was high considering the experience.
All the staff were kind, the driving was safe, and I was able to sleep well on the way back. I felt fulfilled and would love to participate again!
I want to take my future children along someday!
I highly recommend this to everyone!

？上記で40分ほど遊んだあと、チーズバーガーを食べながら　寄港。
？陸上で30分ほどフラ体験。

水の透明度はあまり高くなかったですが、まるで映像のように目の前に沢山のイルカが！！
イルカの話し声が聞こえます！
イルカが目の前でジャンプします！

海ガメは、運よく二頭を目の前に見ることができました。
距離としては触れるくらい！

金額もあの内容なら高くないと思います。
スタッフの方も皆さん親切な方で、運転も安全で、帰りもよく眠れました。次もまた参加したいような充実感です！
いつか子供が生まれたら、参加させてあげたい！

Wow, so cute! I was really nervous about holding onto the dolphin's fin, but dolphins are so smart. They make it easy for someone like me who isn't very good at this, and they go nice and slow. I was worried about being second in line to kiss the dolphin, but that turned out to be totally fine. First, I supported the dolphin's face with both hands and pressed it against my cheek for a photo, then I gave it a kiss while looking at the camera. Next, I held onto the dolphin's fin for a belly ride, swimming all the way to the middle of the deeper pool, but since I was wearing a life jacket, it was all good! The feeling of the dolphin's belly is something you have to experience for yourself. It feels amazing! Of course, I bought the photos; they were a bit pricey, but they really make for a great keepsake, and I even got a frame set.

As for the important stuff, you can bring your valuables to the poolside, so that's reassuring. Wear your swimsuit there, take it off on-site, and put on the life jacket to go. Afterward, you can rinse off with a water shower while still in your swimsuit and change in the changing room. No worries at all! A Japanese person provides explanations and translations from a distance, so make sure to listen carefully! There were also baby dolphins swimming around, which were adorable. I participated in the 10 AM session, and I think I got on the bus to go back around 1:15 PM. I was able to see the dolphin show, and you can eat at the Sea Lion Café. Even though it's called a café, it's just an open terrace, but they serve light snacks like chili dogs and iced café lattes. You can definitely fill up and enjoy yourself. Touching such cute dolphins up close was the best! There was a girl with really long acrylic nails, and I hope she considers that they might hurt the dolphins.

いやー可愛い可愛すぎるー！　イルカのひれにつかまれるかすごく不安だったけど　イルカって頭イーんだね　駄目な私につかまりやすくちゃんとゆっくりやってくれるよ。順番が２番目でイルカにキスできるか不安でしたがこれも全然ＯＫでした。まずはイルカの顔をを両手てささえて自分のほっぺにあてて、カメラ目線で写真っ次は口にチューしてカメラ目線。その次にいるかのひれにつかまって泳ぐベリーライドっちょっと深いプールの真ん中まで泳ぐんだけどライフジャケットきてるので大丈夫！大はしゃぎイルカのお腹の感触は実際に体験してみてください。ちょーきもちいいよ。写真は勿論買いましたよ　ちょっと高いけどほんと記念になるしっ額もセットで買っちゃったよ。　気になるところで・・貴重品はプールサイドまで持っていけるので安心。水着は着て行って現地で脱いでライフジャケットを付けてＧＯ。終了後は水着のまま水シャワーをして着替えルームで着替える感じ　心配はなにもなし！日本人のひとが説明通訳を遠くからしてくれるからよく聞いてね！赤ちゃんのイルカもウロチョロしててかわいかった。１０時のに参加したんだけど　１時１５分くらいにバスに乗って帰ったのかな？イルカショーも見れたし、ご飯はシーライオンカフェで食べれるよ。カフェって言ってもオープンテラスだけど　もちろん軽食　チリドックとアイスカフェラテかな？のんでお腹いっぱい充分満喫出来るよ。ほんとにかわいいイルカをまじかで触れてさいこー　チョーつめの長いスカルプつけた子いたけどちょっと考えてもらいたいなイルカちゃんにキズがついちゃうんじゃないかって心配になったよ。

　自分のほんの数十センチ下を、赤ちゃんイルカとお母さんイルカのペアが、何組も泳いでいます！しばらく平行して泳ぎました。追いつけなくても彼らは繰り返しやってきて、まるで遊びに来てくれているようでした。ウィンクしながら目の前を横切るイルカさんや、見事なスピンを披露してくれるイルカさんも・・彼らは遊び心いっぱいでした。心から感激しました。

　それ以外にも、陽気なスタッフと、客を1秒たりとも退屈させないYurikoさんのトークや気配りは、「プロの仕事だなあ」と感じさせました。ローカルの方と触れ合え、お手製ランチにミニshow、現地では有名なフラの先生にフラを習うことができ、至れり尽くせり。ハワイの文化や自然へのリスペクトを基本にしながら、内容も構成も全体によく練られた上質のパフォーマンスであると感じました。これでこの値段は、決して高くはありません。

We gathered at the school office and practiced how to stand on a surfboard. After that, we each took two surfboards and walked across the street to the beach, immediately getting into the water and following the instructor. As someone who doesn't exercise much, I was already exhausted by this point. I desperately followed the instructor's commands of "Paddle!" and "Stand up!" By the end of the day, all participants were able to stand on their boards. It felt truly refreshing to glide through the wind. I'm really glad I participated. One downside was that the ocean floor was covered in rocks and corals. When I got back to the hotel and looked at my feet, I found many scrapes and was bleeding. (laughs) I think it would be good to take some precautions for that.

I participated in the premium tour. It was relaxing and enjoyable. I sat in the front, and my 8-year-old child was thrilled to be doted on by the guide. The program we received at the reception included a list with pictures of fish, and my child particularly enjoyed checking off the fish they saw. There were comments about the staff chatting amongst themselves being noisy, but I didn't mind it at all. Cold air was coming from below, so it was chilly at my feet. If you're sensitive to the cold, it would be good to bring leg warmers or something similar. The company's website has a diving map, and I aimed for the right side, which supposedly passes by the wrecks more often, but the course changes depending on the sea currents that day, so it ultimately depends on luck. The pilot tries to be fair to both sides, but it felt like the left side had a slight advantage during our trip. It might be a "grass is greener on the other side" feeling. This tour is definitely worth experiencing at least once. Also, since the boarding area is located within the Hilton Hawaiian Village, it's very convenient for guests staying at the hotel. It would be nice if there were discounts for not needing transportation, but unfortunately, that benefit is not available.

We had our first experience last year (2006) and the main activity we wanted to do this year (2007) was the ATV adventure again we very much enjoyed our selfs we did a couple different trails and had a terrific guide (Lance) thanks Lance for making this trip as memoribale as the last see you when return again!

It's a rare event! Everyone was having a great time, shaking hands with dolphins and enjoying playful interactions, forgetting their age. Both the grandchildren and adults were equally excited. It seemed like everyone was greatly healed by the experience. There are also sea lion shows and dolphin shows to enjoy. Just a note, the restaurant is small, so it's advisable to efficiently use the stand shops or prepare simple meals.

I signed up for a tour because submarines can't be ridden in Japan, and my child wanted to try it. We traveled by boat to the location of the submarine, but due to lack of sleep, I ended up getting seasick even though the waves were calm. I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are prone to getting sick. However, once we were on the submarine, there was hardly any rocking, so my nausea subsided, and I was able to enjoy watching the seabed. I was satisfied to see sharks and swimming turtles on the ocean floor.

潜水艦は、日本では乗れないし、子供も乗ってみたいと言うのでツアーに申し込みしました。船で潜水艦の場所まで移動するのですが寝不足もあって波が穏やかなのに酔ってしまいました。乗り物に弱い方は、酔い止めの服用をお勧めします。しかし潜水艦に乗るとほとんど揺れなかったので酔いも収まり楽しんで海底を見る事が出来ました。海底でサメを見たり泳いでる亀を見る事ができ満足でした。

Parasailing was something I absolutely wanted to try in Hawaii. I was a bit anxious about the fact that everything was in English, but the driver, the instructor (everyone was handsome!), and the ticket booth staff were all very kind, so there were no problems at all. My father (68), who had signed up as an observer, suddenly decided he wanted to participate on-site, so he signed up on the day with his limited English. He was able to join after paying the difference, and off we went to the sea! Everyone else was foreign couples, but the atmosphere was great, and I felt no tension at all. It seems we were set to a height one level above standard, but there was no sense of fear, and we enjoyed the amazing view. Even at my father's age, he could participate and have fun. In the end, we took a great photo with the instructor! We also had photos taken for an additional fee, but since the boat was swaying, I think they turned out better than what we could have taken ourselves. Next time, I’ll challenge myself to go even higher!

I was moved to see beautiful tropical fish and sea turtles up close. While snorkeling may not allow children to observe enough, this experience lets even small children participate and observe the fish, which I think is great.
