We participated in a New Year's Eve luau show with a total of nine people, including my husband's parents and my family. It was a really lovely spot by the lagoon where we could see the sunset, which was different from our usual experiences.

The show's excitement captivated my one-year-old son, who even started dancing. My parents also moved closer to the stage and seemed to have a great time.

As for the buffet, it included traditional Hawaiian dishes and sushi rolls, making it easy for everyone from children to the elderly to enjoy. However, I wouldn't say the taste was extraordinary.

Unfortunately, the staff's efficiency wasn't very good, and we had to wait quite a while from gathering to getting to our dining seats, which was tough for my son.

Overall, I think it was a good experience since we were able to enjoy it as a family.

夫の両親、私の家族合計９名で大晦日のルアウショーに参加しました。普段とはちがいラグーンサイドでの、夕陽が見えるとっても素敵な場所でした。
ショーの迫力は1歳になる息子も興味しんしんで、踊りだすほど。私の両親もステージ近くまで移動し、相当楽しめた様子でした。
ブッフェの味と内容ですが、ハワイの伝統的な食事や海苔巻もあり、子供からお年寄りまで食べやすいものでした。お味は、感動的とまでは言えません。
ただ、スタッフの手際があまり良くなかったのか、集合から、食事の席までかなりの時間並び、息子には辛かったです。
総合的には、家族で楽しめたので良かったと思います。

This was my first time participating. I used it for my honeymoon. The sandbar was beautiful, and there was plenty of free time, so it was really great. The lunch on the boat, where they grilled meat, was very delicious.

The snorkeling was a bit cold, but I was able to see a lot of fish. After getting out of the water, they also prepared warm drinks, and the staff's service was excellent.

I highly recommend it.

初参加です。新婚旅行で利用しました。サンドバーも綺麗で、自由な時間もたっぷりあったのでとてもよかったです。ランチも船上でお肉を焼いてくれてとてもおいしかったです。
シュノーケルは水が少し冷たかったですが、たくさんの魚を見ることができました。海から上がったあとは、温かい飲み物も用意してくれてスタッフの対応も◎です。
おすすめです。

It was my first time participating!! I was deeply moved by the beauty of the sandbar. Also, I was able to take many wonderful photos. On the boat, I got to see a lot of turtles, which was very healing. Thank you very much☆

It was great to see traditional Hawaiian dance easily near Honolulu. It was more impressive than I had imagined, and I was very satisfied.

ホノルルの近くでお手軽にハワイの伝統的な踊りがみれて大変良かったです。想像していたより見ごたえがあり満足しました。

My friend and I had a great time. We biked from Kailua to Lanikai and did a little snorkeling and then back to Kailua for a little R&R on the beach.Kailua was one of the best beaches we went to, great water and sand.... wish we did the kayaks but I guess it's best to reserve something for next time!

I participated at the request of a child who loves whales. Since I had only seen them on TV, I was thrilled to see a real whale's tail. The meal was just okay.

I found out that a new show started in Waikiki, and I thought, "This is it!" so I decided to participate! The content exceeded my expectations!! I had a great time.

While it incorporates elements of Hawaii, the main focus is on dances other than hula, which is refreshing ✨ I think this American and exciting show would be great for those who are repeat visitors to Hawaii.

In this show, Elvis, Michael, Elton, and Lady Gaga made appearances. Each of them was a wonderful performer, and while watching the images projected on the big screen, I forgot they were impersonators and got completely absorbed in the performance♪ Michael's dance was fantastic! The costumes looked just like the real thing!

Since I’m in my twenties, I wasn’t very familiar with Elvis and Elton, but there were songs I recognized from dramas, so it didn’t matter, and I enjoyed it anyway!

The tropical drinks and cocktails named after the stars were also fun. I chose the Lady Gaga drink~♪

After the show, we took photos together as a memento. Everyone was very friendly and happily posed for pictures and signed autographs. I want to see it again!!!!

ワイキキで新しいショーが始まったと知り、これは！と思い参加してきました！
内容は期待以上！！とっても楽しむことができました。

ハワイの要素も盛り込んであるのですが、フラダンス以外のダンスがメインで新鮮✩
ハワイリピーターの方にはこんなアメリカンでエキサイティングなショーもいいと思います。

今回のショーではエルビス、マイケル、エルトン、レディーガガが登場しました。
どの方もすばらしいパフォーマーで大きなスクリーンに映し出される映像を見ていたら
彼らがそっくりさんだなんて忘れて聞き入っていました♪
マイケルのダンスがよかったです！衣装も本物そっくり！

２０代のため(～)エルビス、エルトンにはあまり親しみがなかったのですが、
ドラマで聞いたことある曲もあったりして、そんなことは関係なく楽しめましたよ！

トロピカルドリンクや、スターの名前にちなんだカクテルなども楽しい。
私はレディーガガのドリンクを選びました~♪

ショーのあとはみんなと写真撮影で記念にもなりました。
みなさんとてもフレンドリーで心よく写真撮影、サインに応じてくれます。
また見にいきたいです！！！！！

We participated for Green room and got front row seats.
The “stars” came off the stage and sang to me and shook my hand.
“Elvis” comes so close that you can lightly smell his perfume.

When they first come to the stage, you may think they are kind of chubby, but once they start to sing and dance, you will be amazed. It’s unbelievable that they are not lip singing.

The stage equipment and audio system is great. During the performance, there is a video on the screen that shows the real star singing. The “star” on stage and the star on the screen come in sync and you start to believe that the “star” on the stage is real.

Even though you don’t know the star, they will sing many popular songs old or new, so any generation can enjoy the performance.

After the show the stars will be at the lobby, and they will give you autograph and take a picture with you.
In my mind I believe that “Michael Jackson” was real to me so I got excited and screamed.

I was amazed by the size of the sea turtles. The beauty of the ocean was just as I had heard. While snorkeling, I felt my physical limits. The waves were rough, and it was disappointing that I couldn't see anything! (I was grateful for the help that came to me, haha.) Spending time in such a beautiful place with my son, who is studying abroad at UH, became an unforgettable memory.

ウミガメの大きさには驚きました。海の美しさも評判通りでした。シュノーケルでは体力の限界を感じました。波が荒くて何も見えなくて残念！（助けにきてくださって助かりました(笑)）
UHに留学中の息子と久しぶりにあんなに美しい場所で過ごせて一生忘れない思い出になりました。

When making the reservation, I read some experiences and saw comments saying "we didn't see any whales," which made me a bit hesitant. However, since we come to Hawaii every year and my husband's mother was visiting Hawaii for the first time, we thought it would be nice to participate and enjoy the view of the Waikiki hotels from a large boat. We didn't see any whales, but we were able to spend a relaxing time.

We were blessed with clear skies and low tide, allowing us to enjoy the heavenly sea.

A sea turtle swam right up to us in the vast sandy beach that was dry up to our ankles.

Although it didn't completely dry up, we were able to fully appreciate its beauty.

The guide was also enjoyable and provided excellent navigation, which made us feel at ease.

晴天にも恵まれ、干潮にも恵まれ天国の海を楽しめました。
足首まで干上がった広大な砂浜に、ウミガメが目前までスイスイと泳いでいます。

完全に干上がるまではいきませんでしたが、十分美しさを堪能できました。

またガイドの方も楽しく、しっかりとナビゲーションしてくださるので安心できました

We were blessed with clear skies, and we were able to see the tail fin clearly. We also got to see baby whales, so we thoroughly enjoyed the whale watching experience. The guide was American, but it seemed he had studied Japanese well, as he spoke clearly and explained the location and direction of the whales, which was very helpful.

晴天に恵まれ、尾びれもしっかりみれました。
子供のクジラもみれたので、しっかりホエールウォッチを堪能できました。ガイドの方もアメリカ人の方でしたが、しっかり日本語を勉強されているようで、聞き取りやすい発音で、クジラがみつかった位置や方位など説明してくださり、助かりました。

The timing was just right, and I was able to see whales perfectly! It was moving! I definitely recommend it.

時期がちょうどいいこともあり、クジラばっちり見れました☆感動しました☆ぜひおすすめです。

I participated in the monitor tour this time.

At pickup, an old bus arrived, which made me a bit anxious, but there were no problems at all! The driver even entertained us with singing while driving (laughs).

Upon arrival, we boarded the boat. First up was sea turtle watching. We were lucky to see many that day. Then we arrived at the sandbar. Unfortunately, it was only knee-deep, but we could stand in the middle of the ocean, and the view was beautiful!

Since I went in January, there was a perfect photo opportunity when the sun came out! At this time, we could practice snorkeling, but it was cold, so I quickly returned to the boat.

For lunch, we had homemade hamburgers!! They were incredibly delicious☆ During this time, the crew sang while playing the guitar, and we enjoyed a relaxing time.

Next, we moved to the coral area! Finally, it was time for snorkeling. It was cold, but once I got in, I was amazed by the coral and fish!

Before I knew it, the fun time had passed.

This tour seems to have started in the last few years, and since it was a small group, the staff were entertaining, which made it really great☆

今回モニターツアーで参加しました。

ピックアップ時にはちょっと古いバスが来て不安でしたが、
全然問題なし！運転手さんが運転しながら歌の披露とかしてくれました(笑)

到着して船に乗り込みます。まずは海亀ウォッチング。
この日はたくさん現れてくれました。
そしてサンドバーへ到着。残念ながらひざ下くらいでしたけど、海の真ん中に立てて、眺めもキレイでした！

私が行ったのは1月だったので、太陽が見えた時にシャッターチャンス！！という感じで写真を撮ってくれました。
この時にシュノーケルの練習ができますが、寒くてすぐに船に戻りました。

そして昼は手作りハンバーガー！！
めっちゃおいしくいただきました☆
このときにクルーの人がギターを片手に歌ってくれたりして、ゆっくりとした時間を過ごします。

そして、珊瑚エリアへ移動！
いよいよシュノーケル。寒いけど、入ってしまえば後は珊瑚と魚に感動！

あっという間に楽しい時間が過ぎました。

このツアーはここ数年からはじめたらしく、少人数だし、スタッフさんも面白くて、本当に良かったです☆

I thought it might be too early to see whales, but I was able to catch a glimpse of a whale's back. It wasn't an impressive whale watching experience, but I feel lucky just to have seen it. Seeing a lot of fish at the Aloha Tower harbor was an unexpected stroke of luck.

クジラを見るにはまだ時期が早かったかと諦めムードの時にクジラの背中を見ることができました。迫力のあるクジラ観賞でなく、なんとも地味~なものでしたが、見れただけラッキーと納得しています。アロハタワーの港でたくさんの魚を見れたのは想定外のラッキーなものでした。

This was my second time on Kauai, and I had a great time!

Traveling with a small group of six made everything run smoothly.

The guide was entertaining, and the scenery was magnificent—an excellent tour!

カウアイ島へは2度目でしたが、とても楽しめました！

6人の少人数で回れたのでスムーズに動けました。

ガイドさんも面白くて、景色も雄大で最高のツアーでした！

It was a bit cloudy and cold in December, but the sea was incredibly beautiful and I was moved!

The lunch was also luxurious and I was very satisfied! ☆

12月参加で少し曇っていて寒かったのですが、海はものすごくきれいで感動しました！

ランチも豪華で大満足でした☆

I saw it~☆ After about 30 to 40 minutes on the boat, we spotted a whale in the distance☆ But then, for a while, we didn't see anything... Just as the announcement of "We're heading back to port" came on, a moment of disappointment washed over us, and then suddenly, about two whales appeared really close by~~ They raised their tails and splashed down!! It was amazing!! I was so moved that I forgot to take pictures...

乗って３~４０分で少し遠目ですが、クジラが見えた☆
でも、それからしばらく何も見えず。。。
「帰港します」
のアナウンスが流れて。。。
ちょっとがっかり感が漂った瞬間に、
すごく近くで２頭くらいかな～～
尾ひれを上げてザブーン!!
スゴかったです!!感動!!
見とれてしまって写真を撮るのを忘れてしまいました。。。

Since I participated in the green room, my seat was right in front of the stage. The stars came down from the stage to sing right in front of me and even shook hands. They came so close that I could faintly smell Elvis's cologne!

Even if I thought, "Wait? A bit chubby?" when they appeared, their singing, dancing, and even their talk and gestures were so realistic that I was completely drawn in. It's amazing that there was no lip-syncing!

The stage setup was quite elaborate, synchronizing with real footage, and combined with their singing skills, I gradually started to feel like I was watching the real thing.

Even for generations that don't know the originals, there are standard songs woven in, so I think everyone can enjoy it with a sense of recognition like, "Oh, I know this song!"

After the show, the stars casually responded to requests for autographs and photos at the exit. Since I was already feeling like I was with the real ones, when I took a photo with Michael, I couldn't help but let out a squeal of excitement!

It seems like there is a variety of cast members, so I definitely want to go again.

グリーンルームで参加したので席はステージまん前でした。スターたちがステージから降りてきて目の前で歌ってくれたり握手してくれます。エルビスの香水がほんのり香るほど、身近に来てくれます！

登場したときに「えっ？ぽっちゃり？」とか思っても、歌のうまさ、踊りのうまさ、トークやしぐさまで本物そっくりで、ぐんぐん惹きこまれます。口パクはいないというのがすごい！

ステージの装置もかなり凝っていて、本物の映像とシンクロしてきて、歌のうまさとの相乗効果で、次第に本物と錯覚してきました。

本物を知らない世代でもスタンダードな曲が織り込まれてるので「あ、この歌知ってる！」とどの世代にも楽しめると思います。

ショーの後、出口でスターたちが気軽にサインや写真撮影に応じてくれます。すでに見てるほうも本物と錯覚してるので、マイケルと写真を撮るときには「キャー」と黄色い声を上げてしまいました！

出演するキャストにバラエティがあるようなので、是非また行きたいです。

Hawaiian traditional feast "LUAU."
This time, I participated on New Year's Eve.
The luau here is very accessible since it's located in Waikiki, so you can feel safe even without transportation.

Additionally, from the lagoon venue, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Last time, I attended another luau held in a location farther from Waikiki, but unlike that one, there were no attractions we could participate in (like lei making or games), and the setup was more about enjoying a buffet-style meal while watching the show.

In terms of experiencing a luau for the first time, I think this is a luau that you can enjoy easily with its accessibility and food.

I definitely recommend this activity for anyone visiting Hawaii!

ハワイ伝統の宴「LUAU」。
今回は大晦日の夜に参加しました。
ここのルアウは、ロケーションもワイキキ内なため、とても行きやすく送迎がなくても安心です。

また、会場であるラグーンからは、ちょうどサンセットが綺麗に見えます☆

前回はワイキキから離れた場所で開催されている、他のルアウに参加したのですが、そちらのように自分たちが参加できるアトラクション(レイメイキングやゲーム等)はなく、ショーを観ながらビュッフェスタイルの食事を楽しむ構成になっていました。

初めてのルアウを体験するという意味では、アクセスのし易さや食事等、気軽に楽しめるルアウだと思います。

是非ハワイを訪れた人には体験してもらいたいアクティビティです♪

I participated in an afternoon BBQ lunch tour.

I wanted to walk on the sand where the water had receded, but the water level was about 15 to 20 centimeters, which was a bit disappointing... Still, the beauty of the ocean and the surrounding scenery was truly amazing!! After walking on the sandbar, I snorkeled for about 20 minutes, but it was quite cold. A sea turtle swam right by me, and I was able to see it up close.

All the staff were very friendly, and I had a really enjoyable time!♪♪

午後のBBQランチ付きツアーに参加しました。

水の引いた砂の上を歩きたかったのですが、水位が１５~２０センチほどありちょっと残念でした・・・
それでも海の綺麗さ、周りの景色は本当に最高でした！！
サンドバーウォーキングの後は、シュノーケリングを２０分ほどしたのですがかなり寒かったです。泳いでいるすぐそばを海ガメが通りすぎて間近で見ることができました。

スタッフの方の皆さん感じがよく、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができましたっ♪♪

I used the service on January 8. We were able to see the tails of whales about three or four times off the coast of Honolulu. The meals were satisfactory and matched the price. On the way back on the boat, there were also activities like lei-making and hula dance classes, which everyone enjoyed. I think it's a tour that is definitely worth participating in.

１月８日に利用しました。
ホノルル沖で、３、４回クジラの尻尾だけでしたが見ることができました。食事も価格相応の内容で満足いくものでした。船の帰りには、レイ作り、フラダンス教室等も開催され、皆さん楽しんでいました。
十分に参加する価値があるツアーだと思います。

I applied with some hesitation, but I was truly moved to see whales! The kids were also impressed, and it became a great winter vacation memory. I've been to Hawaii quite a few times, but I had never participated in something like this, so I especially recommend it for families with children. The food was enjoyable too! I would love to participate again.

半信半疑で申し込みましたが、本当にクジラを見れて感動！子供達もインパクトがあり、いい冬休みの思い出になりました。ハワイはかなり行ってますが、こういうものに参加したことがなかったので、子供がいる人には特におすすめです。ご飯も楽しめました！又、参加したいですね。

Having joined other whale watching tours in the past, I can share my thoughts for comparison:

If you really want to see whales, you should go on a small, fast, and maneuverable boat.

I recommend a small group tour that stops the boat if dolphins are spotted and allows you to dive into the sea.

However, for those with children or those who may feel uneasy about small boats, this large boat tour might be the right choice.

It might be better to join with the mindset of hoping to see whales while enjoying a lunch cruise. The food is quite delicious, and there are events on board, so I think it's a tour that won't disappoint.

過去、他にもホエールウォッチングに参加していますので、
比べた感想を言いますと、


クジラを本当に見たいのなら、速度の速い、小回りのきく
小さい船でいくべきです。

クジラのほかにもイルカが見えたら船を止め、
海にもぐらせてくれるような、
そんな少人数のツアーがお勧めです。


しかし子連れや、船酔いなど、小型の船が不安な人にとっては
この大型船のツアーは正解かと思います。


ランチクルーズしたついでに、クジラが見えればいいかな、
という考え方で参加したほうがいいかもしれません。
でも料理はなかなか美味しいですし、船内のイベントもありますし、はずれのないツアーかと思います。

It's just a short distance from the hotel to the boat, so we easily participated as a family. What surprised me was encountering whales just a stone's throw away from Waikiki. I was amazed that whales were swimming so close. I felt the depth and endless charm of Hawaii.

　ホテルから船までもスグですし、かなり気軽に家族で参加しました。
　驚いたのはワイキキ目と鼻の先でクジラに出会えたことです。こんなに近い所にクジラが泳いでるなんてビックリ。ハワイの懐の深さや尽きない魅力を感じました。

We participated in an early morning plan with a 7:30 pickup for a three-generation family trip. This was our fourth stay in Oahu, but it was our first time visiting the heavenly sea sandbar, and everyone was filled with excitement.

The beauty of Kaneohe Bay was astonishing; we could see coral and tropical fish right at the harbor where the boats were docked. Once we boarded the boat and headed out to sea, we spotted sea turtles (honu) here and there. The water at the sandbar was about knee-deep, but the location was truly as wonderful as advertised. During snorkeling, we encountered a school of fish swimming among the corals just three seconds after diving in—absolutely amazing.

Surrounded by a rich ecosystem, beautiful sea, friendly and cheerful staff, and picturesque views in every direction, it became a memorable experience for us. Our whole family was very satisfied.

I don't think there’s much worry about seasickness due to the boat's structure and the calm sea, and the activities were enjoyable for everyone, from kids to grandma. If you have the chance, I highly recommend it.

　３世代家族旅行の折に7:30ﾋﾟｯｸｱｯﾌﾟの早朝ﾌﾟﾗﾝに参加です。家族みんなでのオアフ滞在は4度目だったのですが、天国の海サンドバーへは初めてで一同ワクワク感たっぷりで臨みました。
　驚くのはカネオヘ湾の綺麗な事、船の係留されている港でいきなり珊瑚や熱帯魚が見られ。いざ船に乗って沖に出ると、あちらこちらでウミガメ(ホヌ)を確認。サンドバーは膝下位の水位でしたが、看板に偽りなしの素晴らしいロケーション。その後のシュノーケルでは、潜って3秒で珊瑚の間を泳ぐ魚の群れに遭遇で言う事なし。
　豊かな生態系と美しい海、親切で陽気なスタッフ、どこを向いても絵になる素敵な景色に囲まれ、心に残る体験となりました。我が家のみんな大満足です。
　船の構造と穏やかな海で船酔いの心配もそうないと思いますし、体力的にも子どもからバアちゃんまで各々に合わせて楽しめる内容で問題なし。機会あれば、ぜひお勧めです。

I watched the show from the Premium Circle on New Year's Eve. The show was packed with content and very enjoyable. I think it was also great in terms of experiencing the local culture.

大晦日のプレミアムサークルでショー観覧しました。ショーは内容盛りだくさんでとても楽しかったです。現地の文化に触れるという意味でもとてもよかったと思います。

I couldn't see any whales. The boat was large and I didn't feel much rocking. The top deck was very pleasant. However, there were only a few chairs, so it's best to be at the top from the start. If you don't see any whales, you can get a free ticket for another ride, but there was a long line. There were many foreigners, but there were also Japanese announcements, so there were no particular issues.

クジラは見れませんでした。
船は大きくあまり揺れも感じませんでした。
一番上のデッキはとても気持ち良かったです。
でも、椅子が少ししかないので、最初から一番上にいたほうがベストです。
見れなかった場合、再度の無料乗船券をもらえますが、長蛇の列でした。外国人の方が多かったですが、日本語の案内もあり特に問題ありませんでしたよ。

I participated in whale watching on New Year's Day. Since it was my first time in Hawaii, it felt great to look at Waikiki from the sea and enjoy the refreshing breeze. Although I didn't see any spectacular whale jumps, I was able to spot spouts and their backs. I hope to see more next time.

元旦にホェールウォチングを・・・と思い参加しました。
ハワイは初めてなので、海からワイキキを眺めたり、爽やかな風でとても気持ちが良かったです。
鯨の豪快なジャンピングなどは見られませんでしたが、潮吹きや背中などは確認できました。
次回は、期待したいです。
