I was amazed by the size of the whales!
I enjoyed the breaching, which is a big jump, and various dives.
The sight of them spouting water all around seemed to symbolize the richness of the Hawaiian sea.
It was a fun tour.
However, I was disappointed that I couldn't catch the English guide's explanation about the bones.

ブリーチングと言われる大ジャンプやさまざまな潜水が楽しめました。
あちこちで潮吹きをしているようすがハワイの海の豊かさを象徴しているようでした。
楽しいツアーでした。
ただ、英語ガイドの骨の説明が聞き取れなかったのが残念でしたが。

We participated with six people ranging from my daughter in her 20s, to those in their 30s and 50s, and my mother who is 88 years old.

At the beginning, those who wanted to hear the explanation in Japanese gathered on the deck (which is netted and allows you to see the ocean below), while the explanations inside the ship were in English, so naturally, we chose the deck. Out of the six of us, four were honestly a bit nervous sitting on the net while listening to the explanation. The Japanese explanation was enjoyable and started the time well.

Everyone took motion sickness pills just in case, but I thought being on the deck would definitely be more fun, and if you stay on the deck, you probably won't get seasick.

We caught a glimpse of a whale shortly after the cruise started, but it was hard to see more after that. However, even without seeing whales, the lively staff made it very enjoyable. We saw another whale on the return trip.

Although it wasn't extremely close, we were able to see it spouting water. We also enjoyed the view of the Waikiki hotels from the sea.

It was mentioned that two drinks were included in the ticket price, but since it was a one-hour cruise, most people probably only had one drink! I enjoyed the champagne.

I thought the cruise duration could have been a bit longer. My 88-year-old mother also had a great time, and everyone was very satisfied.

We were lucky to participate at a discounted rate due to a campaign!

一番下は20代の娘から、30代、50代、最高は母88歳までの6人で参加。
はじめに、日本語の説明を聞きたい人はデッキ（ネットになっていて下は海面が見えるところ）で、船内は英語で説明ということでしたので当然デッキで。それも6人のうち4人は正直にネットの上におっかなびっくり座って説明を聞きました。日本語堪能そして楽しい説明で時間がスタート。　
一応全員酔い止めも飲んでいましたが、デッキの方が絶対楽しいし、デッキにいれば酔うこともまずないかなと思います。
クジラはクルーズスタートから間もなくちらっと見えてあとはなかなか。でもクジラが見えなくてもノリノリのスタッフでとても楽しんでいました。復路でもう一度クジラが見えました。
ものすごく近い距離ではなかったのですが、潮を吹くところも見ることが出来ました。
海から見えるワイキキのホテル群の景色も楽しめました。
2杯までアルコールはチケット代に入っているということでしたが、1時間のクルーズなのでほとんどの人は1杯かな！？シャンパンを美味しく頂きました。
もう少し長くてもいいかなと思うくらいのクルーズ時間でした。
88歳の母もとても楽しかったと全員大満足です。
今回はキャンペーン中ということでお安く参加出来てラッキー！

This is my seventh time in Hawaii, and I finally made it to the sandbar. Thank you, Izumi, for your help. It was amazing.

今回でハワイは７回目、やっとサンドバーに上陸出来ました。スタッフのいずみちゃんありがとう。最高でした。

My husband and I recently went on the Starf Honolulu on a whale watching Cruise. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the boat, we boarded the boat and it was all fun from there. I highly recommend this cruise for anyone. We actually got to see a couple of whales so that made the day even more memorable.

For the first snorkel outting of our trip, this was a great way to get the ball rolling. Other than the long drive to get to the boat launch everything was smooth sailing. The crew was great and fun to travel with and were very knowledgable on the sites we visited. The trip to the sand bar was a treat. Only regret is we would love to have stayed at the reef longer.

I couldn't see it, but it was a good boat trip in a short amount of time, I suppose? Unfortunately, I couldn't see it, but it was nice to relax on the boat while feeling the wind and enjoy the view from offshore rather than from the beach. The cost performance was good since it was two people for the price of one. It might be better to go in with the mindset that if you can see it, you'll be super lucky...

見れませんでしたが、短時間で、良い船旅ってとこでしょうか？
残念ながら見れませんでしたが、風を感じながら船上で寛いだり、ビーチからではなく、沖からの眺めを楽しむことも出来るのでよかったです。二人で一人分というコストパフォーマンスがよかった。見れれば、超ラッキー位でいったほうが良いかも・・・

I participated in a trip with a silver couple.
Since I chose to meet on-site, I took THE BUS from my hotel in Waikiki to ALOHA TOWER. I was advised to arrive about 10 minutes early for the 8:00 AM meeting time, so I arrived about 30 minutes early. However, the OFFICE opened at 8:00 AM, and the STAFF arrived shortly after, so I think it would have been fine to arrive a bit later.
The whale watching was amazing; the STAFF and the captain provided detailed explanations about the whales' ecology before and after departure. I was deeply moved to see them spouting water multiple times and raising their tails.

シルバー夫婦の旅行で参加しました。
現地集合を選びましたのでワイキキのホテルからTHE BUSで
ALOHA TOWERまで行き、８時集合で10分前位には来るようにとあったので、30分ほど早めに到着しましたが、OFFICEは８時OPENとなっていてSTAFFが来たのも８時過ぎで、もう少し遅めでもよかったと思います。
ホエールウォッチングは鯨の生態など出航前後にSTAFFや船長が詳しく説明をされ、実際何度も潮を吹いている姿や尾ひれを上げたところなど見ることができて感動でした。

There is a lot of traveling back and forth then actual viewing spots, and because of that there was not enough time at Waimea Canyon which is the main spot of the trip. People taking half day tour should not be mixed with fullday tour, there was a lot of time lost in going back and forth droping those people, and the return flight to oahu should be planned accordingly we had to wait 2 hrs at the airport.

This was my first experince whale watching, had a blast! We were able to see 5 whales! After the boat was returning to shore, I went to the back of the boat and saw another whale. We did the Breakfast Cruise, water and coffee are free, everything else is a charge. Be one of the first ones outside, so you can have a good veiw by the railings. Also you will be standing outside on the deck to see the whales so be prepare as it is windy. I did enjoy that the naturalist on board was very informative about whales, she gave us lots of clues on what to look for when whale watching. I would recommed to this Cruise early on you vacation so as you travel the island you can find your own whales!

The sea was a beautiful cobalt blue. The children were very happy. The lunch on the cruiser was delicious. I definitely want to participate again on my next trip to Hawaii.

Only two groups (a total of four people) participated, so we had the hammocks to ourselves, which felt like a great deal. It might be due to winter, but the weather wasn't the best, and it was a bit chilly while sailing. However, the water wasn't as cold as I expected, and the sea was very clear, making snorkeling enjoyable. I knew from reviews that fins weren't provided, so I brought my own. Not only fins, but we were also allowed to bring our own food and drinks.

It seemed they scattered some bait before snorkeling, as there were plenty of fish. While there weren't many colorful fish, there were a lot of them, and I was really impressed when I first entered the water. Additionally, there were many sea turtles. They weren't at all wary when I approached, and I was able to swim alongside them for a little while.

Seeing Waikiki from offshore and watching the catamaran raise and lower its sails made for a great experience.

参加は二組（計４名)だけで、ハンモックの上を半分ずつ、貸切状態で、お得感がありました。
冬なので仕方ないかもしれませんが、お天気がいま一つで、セーリング中は少し寒かったです。
でも、思ったより水は冷たくなく、海の透明度も高く、シュノーケリングは楽しめました。体験談からフィンの貸し出しがないのがわかっていたので、自分でフィンを持参しました。フィンだけでなく、食べ物や飲み物も持ち込みＯＫでした。
シュノーケリング前に餌を撒いてくれたようで、魚がたくさんいました。カラフルな魚はいなかったのですが、とにかくいっぱいいて、初めに海に入った時は感動でした。
そして、海亀もたくさんいました。近寄ってもちっとも警戒せず、少しだけ一緒に泳げました。
ワイキキ沖からワイキキを見れて、カタマランの帆を張ったりしまったりも見れたので、良い体験ができました。

I would not characterize this center as a place to do serious information seeking about a culture, but it sure was fun and I learned enough to know it was at least good in what it selected. Yes, the most impressive thing was the stage show, and especially the ending. The story was a rather neat way of combinding all the island cultures and their unique features and similarities. The performers were wonderful.
On the negative side, not many and mostly resolved, our tickets should have included our meal and did not, so needed to be corrected. The food was OK, certainly not great.But there were a few " authentic dishes" that seemed and were more tasty, if only they had been more identified and described.
Sometimes the students hired seemed less than knowledgable or interested in their jobs.Others were wonderful. How do you review them?
And finally, because our tickets needed to be reissued, we ended up in the nosebleed section, which would have been fine, except that the air cond

We originally tried to book the Navatek Cruise for Valentine's Night, but it was fully booked. We then booked the following night (Wednesday 15th Feb), but after receiving our confirmation we were advised that 15th had been overbooked, so we were moved to the 16th. Found this slightly strange, as we were a party of 10, however, no great harm done as we were all free on the 16th.
Bus pick up was slightly early, but we lost this advantage when a couple of passengers at one of the other hotels were late, however, still reached the dock in plenty of time.
Cruise itself was very good - we had pretty good views from our table. The food and entertainment was excellent and service fast and efficient. Drink prices also very reasonable (a decent bottle of red wine was only $ 20.00).
Views from up on the viewing decks were spectacular, and everything finished bang on time at 7.30 pm, with buses sitting waiting for us at the dock, before a speedy ride back to our hotel.
Overall a very good exp

The weather was nice, and I was able to see whales. The staff who understood Japanese were very kind.

I participated on my honeymoon. I was able to see whales multiple times. While we were eating, whales kept appearing, and we were going back and forth between our seats and the deck. Looking back, I should have eaten first; the delicious food ended up getting cold...
Onboard, there were also activities like lei-making and hula classes, and I had a very enjoyable time.

ハネムーンで参加しました。クジラを何度も見る事ができました。ご飯を食べている間に何回もクジラが出てきて席とデッキを行ったりきたりでした。今思えばご飯を先に食べるべきでした、せっかく美味しい物が冷めてしまった…
船内ではレイ作り、フラ教室なども開催され、とても楽しい時間をすごすことができました。

This time, I participated with ten friends, and the boat to Sandbar was separated for international guests and Japanese guests. The staff's service after boarding the boat was excellent. The hamburgers for lunch were, as expected in America, hearty and delicious. It's an attraction that can be enjoyed by groups, couples, and families alike. I will participate again!

今回は友人１０名で参加したのですが、サンンドバーに行くまでの船もインターナショナルと日本人で別れていたり、船に乗ってからのスタッフの対応は最高によかったです。昼食のハンバーガーもさすがアメリカ肉ボリューミーで美味しかったですね。グループでもカップルでもファミリーでも楽しめるアトラクションです。また参加しま~す。

I had some concerns before participating due to reviews mentioning seasickness and not being able to see anything. However, the boat didn't sway violently at all; it was just a gentle rocking, and I didn't experience any seasickness. In fact, I was so drowsy from the motion sickness medication I took just in case that I almost dozed off while standing, haha.

As for the whales, I was thrilled to see them up close right from the start. I was able to see them several more times after that, and I got great video footage, so I was very satisfied.

口コミで船酔いや見れなかったなどの記事があり、参加前は正直不安はありました。ですが、激しく揺れることなどはなく、ゆっくり揺れる程度で船酔いは皆無。むしろ念のため飲んでおいた酔い止めの副作用で眠たくて立ちながら寝そうになってました 笑
肝心のくじらはと言うと、初っ端から近くで見れて感動でした。
その後も何回か見れてビデオにもばっちりとれて大変満足でした。

I took a bold step to take a vacation after 30 years of service and 20 years of marriage. It felt like we truly relaxed this time in Hawaii, which we hadn't visited since our honeymoon.

This tour was simply "healing."

From the moment we boarded the bus at the meeting point on January 31, we could feel the staff's consideration. During the ride, they talked about Hawaii's flora and the town's scenery, and before we knew it, we arrived at our destination.

The encounter rate with sea turtles was almost 100%.

What impressed me about this responsible tour company was their unwavering priority on "safety" in everything they did.

This is an extremely important point for participants.

Even as beginners, they constantly kept an eye on us. Especially during snorkeling, in addition to the guiding staff, there was a boat prepared, and one staff member was diligently watching over everyone's safety near the participants who were enjoying themselves.

Moreover, they implemented these safety measures discreetly without making a big deal out of it. We, as a mature couple, were keenly aware of it!

Thank you. Truly, thank you.

This became a memorable trip that we will never forget.

私が勤続３０年、結婚２０年ということで思い切って休暇をとってやってきました。
新婚旅行以来のハワイで、夫婦ともども今回は本当にゆっくりしたという感じでした。

特にこのツアーは「癒された」の一言。

１月３１日、集合場所でバスに乗った時からスタッフのお気遣いが感じられ、乗車中でもハワイの草花の話、町並みの話など、あっという間に現地に着きました。

ウミガメの遭遇率はほぼ１００％と言ってもいいのではないでしょうか。

それと、私が「さすが、責任あるツアー会社だな」と思ったことは、すべてにおいて”安全性を最優先している”という点。

これは参加者にとって極めて重要な点ですね。

初心者の私たちにも常に目配りを怠らず、特にシュノーケルの際には、案内のスタッフ以外にボートが一艘用意してあり、楽しんでいる参加者のそばで１名のスタッフがしっかり皆んなの安全を見守っていてくれたのです。

しかも、それをことさらアピールすることなく、さり気ない安全対策、私たち熟年？夫婦はしっかりと見ていましたよ！

ありがとう。本当にありがとう。

いつまでも忘れることのない記念旅行となりました。

晴れてはいたけど、風があって、ちょっと寒かったです・・・

素足で潮の引いた場所まで歩くのが、ちょっと痛かったです・・・。

停泊中の船のすぐ近くにウミガメも現れてくれて♪

ウミガメが見られると、良い事があるとか・・・

思い出がひとつ増えました♪

I wanted to visit the beautiful sandbar I saw on TV, so I decided to join this tour. The weather on the day was cloudy with occasional light rain. They picked us up at the hotel. The driver was a local, but there was always a Japanese staff member to support us, so even those new to traveling abroad can participate with peace of mind.

After about an hour on the bus, we boarded the boat, and the crew was introduced. Yukki, the Japanese staff member, entertained us with her lively talk. First, we encountered about ten sea turtles. They occasionally peeked their faces above the water, and I quickly made a wish.

Then we headed to the main sandbar. It was a strange feeling to see a shallow area appear in the middle of the ocean, clearly different in color from the surrounding sea. The temperature that day wasn't very high, and it took quite a bit of courage to get into the water. However, according to the staff, the water temperature was still on the warmer side. After taking photos at the sandbar and enjoying the scenery, we were supposed to go snorkeling. However, due to the cold, we decided to pass.

I was very grateful to participate at a reasonable price as a monitor this time. Unfortunately, the weather was a downside. I think if it had been sunnier, we could have seen the beautiful scenery like what we saw on TV. Also, Hawaii was cooler than I expected... I think it's better to bring about two bath towels since changing into swimsuits inside the boat can be difficult. If I have the opportunity again, I would like to participate.

テレビで見た美しいサンドバーに一度は行きたい！と思い、参加しました。
当日の天候は曇り時々霧雨でした。ホテルまでピックアップ。ドライバーさんは現地の方でしたが、日本人スタッフが常にフォローしてくれるので、海外始めての方でも安心して参加できます。

バスに揺られること約一時間。船に乗り込み、クルーの紹介。日本人スタッフ、ゆきさんのテンポいいトークで楽しませてくれました。まずは、ウミガメ。10匹くらいに会えました。時々顔を水面に覗かせてくれて、すかさず願いごとをしました。

そして、メインのサンドバーへ。海の真ん中に浅瀬が現れて、不思議な感覚でした。周りの海の色と明らかに違いました。その日の気温はあまり高くなく、水中に入るのにはかなり勇気が入りました。でも、スタッフいわく、それでも水温は高い方とのことでした。サンドバーで写真を撮ったり、景色を眺めた後はスノーケリング。しかし、あまりの寒さに私たちはパスしました。

今回はモニターで、リーズナブルに参加させてもらえたのはとてもありがたかったです。残念だったのが天気。もっと晴れていれば、テレビで見たような美しい景色が見れたのだと思います。また、予想以上にハワイは涼しかった。。。厚めのパーカー、そして船内で水着を着替えるのは難しいのでバスタオルは2枚程度持参した方がいいと思いました。また機会があれば、参加したいと思います。

I participated in the activity mentioned in the title.

We set off early in the morning while it was still dark. Despite getting caught in a bit of traffic, we arrived at the location in about an hour. The weather was nice, but it was quite windy. Due to the tides, the sandbar was submerged... and the seawater was cold... Depending on the weather, it might be tough for the elderly and small children. However, there was a family with a five-month-old baby participating in this tour, so if the weather is good and there’s no wind, it would be perfect.

The female Japanese guide was fun and made an effort to engage with each tour participant, which made her a very likable guide. As for the locals... if they are dealing with Japanese people, their attitude can be a bit arrogant, but I guess that can’t be helped?

When it comes to snorkeling, once you're in the water, you don't feel the cold! However, I wished I had fins. Why couldn't we wear them? Is it to avoid damaging the coral reefs? If that's the case, I suppose it can't be helped.

It got a bit long, but overall, thanks to the efforts of the Japanese-speaking guide, it was above average. It really depends on the weather. However, looking at it from a different perspective, it was an enjoyable tour. The seawater was cold for us, but we had fun!

早朝、まだ薄暗い中出発。
少々渋滞にはまりながらも、１時間ほどで現地に到着。
お天気はよかったのですが、風が強かったです。
潮の満ち干きの関係上、サンドバーは海の中・・・海水が冷たかった。。。
天気によっては、ご年配、小さなお子様にはきついかな？
でも、今回のツアーには生後５ヶ月の赤ちゃんも、家族で参加していたので、天気がよく風もなければ最高ですね。

女性の日本語ガイドさん、楽しくて、ツアー客を楽しませようと、一人一人に声をかけていて、とても好感のもてるガイドさんでした。現地のかたがたは。。。。日本人を相手にするのであれば、ちょっと態度が横柄というか、しょうがないのかな？

シュノーケリング、海の中に入ってしまえば、寒さは感じない！でも、足ひれが欲しかった。なぜ、つけられないのでしょう？珊瑚礁を壊さないため？なら仕方がなのかな？

ちょっと長くなりましたが、総合的には、日本語ガイドのお姉さんががんばったおかげで、中の上。天気しだいです。でも、見方を変えれば、楽しめるツアーでした。我々は海水が冷たかったけど、楽しみましたよ！

Thank you for the other day. I think it was a valuable experience.

I had a great time. The hamburgers for lunch were delicious too! I was able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling.

It was a bit cold, but since you have to walk to the sandbar, it might be tough for families and elderly participants.

There is also a Japanese guide, so you can participate with peace of mind!

I recommend bringing a change of clothes for the return trip.

楽しかったです。お昼のハンバーガーもこれまたおいしんです！シュノーケリングでたくさん魚も見れました。

寒かったのもありますが、サンドバーも結局歩くしかないので、ファミリーや年配者連れには厳しいかなと思います。

帰りの着替える服を持参されるのをオススメします。

The wind was strong and the boat rocked, but I was satisfied to see the rare breaching. I wasn't sure where the meeting place was, but a Japanese person in line helped me by telling me to hand the printed reservation form to the counter to get the sticker to put on my clothes. I would like to participate again.

風が強くて船もゆれましたが、めずらしいブリーチングも見れて満足です。
集合場所がよくわからず、列に並んでいる日本人の方に、プリントアウトしたした予約用紙をカウンターで渡し、服に貼るシールをもらうことを教えてもらいました。
また、参加したいと思いました。

I've visited Hawaii several times, but this was my first time participating in this activity. I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, we were hit by heavy rain and strong winds on the day, so we couldn't enjoy snorkeling. It was very disappointing since I had high expectations... I will definitely try again! I want to believe that it's a sign to come back (laughs).

However, thanks to the rain, I was able to see a double rainbow, which was very moving. The staff's guidance was also entertaining, so I highly recommend that everyone give it a try!

ハワイは何度か訪れていますが、このアクティビティの参加は初めてでした。とても楽しみにしていたのですが、当日は生憎の大雨に強風に見舞われ、シュノーケリングを楽しむことができませんでした。期待大だっただけに非常に残念でした…。またリベンジします！きっと、また来いってことだと思いたいです（笑）
ただ、雨のおかげか（～!）ダブルレインボーを見ることができてとても感激でした。スタッフの方のガイドも面白かったので、みなさんも是非参加されてみてはいかがでしょうか。

I signed up because it was supposed to be a Japanese-speaking guide, but the guide who picked me up at the hotel hardly spoke any Japanese. The bus was shared with other English-speaking guests, and for about 50 minutes from the hotel to the boat, I was left feeling like an afterthought as I listened to conversations in English while the Japanese speakers were treated as secondary.

The activity itself was good, as there were Japanese staff on the boat who provided clear explanations.

日本語ガイドということだったので申し込みましたが、ホテルに迎えに来たガイドはほとんど日本語を話さず、バスは英語圏の他のお客さんと一緒で、ホテルから船に乗るまでの間約50分の間、英語の分かる人と話をしており、英語のわからない日本人はおまけのような扱いをされているような感じで気分がよくありませんでした。
アクティビティ自体は日本人スタッフも船に居てよく説明していただきました。

It may have been a coincidence, but everyone except for us were American participants, so we really felt like we were abroad.

たまたまかもしれませんが、自分たち以外は全員アメリカの参加者でしたので一番の海外気分になれました。

You have to try the spear tossing and eat the pineapple delight!

We went on our honeymoon. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, and it rained on the way there. However, while we were at the sandbar, the sun miraculously came out, and we were able to see a wonderful view. ☆ After that, we were able to see some turtles and rays. At the last snorkeling spot, it rained, and we couldn't see well underwater... If it had been sunny, I think we would have seen amazing corals and colorful fish.

あいにくの天気で、行く途中雨が降ったりしました。
が、サンドバーにいる時は奇跡的に太陽が出てきて、素晴らしい景色を見ることができました☆
そのあと、カメやエイにも少し会えました。
最後のシュノーケルのポイントでは、雨が降って海の中がよく見えませんでした。。。
晴れていたら、素晴らしい珊瑚と色とりどりの魚達に会えたと思います。

I can see whales! Such expectations have truly come to life!! Next time, I want to see them even closer. I'll go again.
