There is no better way to experience Hawaii, than out on its beautiful, indescribable blue waters. After doing a bit of research, I knew I wanted to go snorkeling on the west side of the island. I also snorkeled at Hanauma Bay, but there is zero comparison. Two completely different experiences. Sailing out of the harbor, on the beautiful catamaran, with the wind in your hair, onto the sparkling water, a stunning, panoramic view of the majestic mountains behind you, with three fabulous hours of yet unknown adventures ahead of you---well, what more can you ask for? Our time on this tour was great. It went by entirely too fast. But every minute was wonderful. We saw more dolphins than we could count. Had great visibility while snorkeling. Saw many different types of fish and marine life. All under the skillful supervision of the awesome crew. Also, the boat was not overly crowded, which was terrific. Plenty of room to move about and to have a good seat. The food and drinks were perfect. I just wish it was twice as long. And honestly, next time we go back, I will probably go more than once. It's simply the best way to experience the magic of Hawaii. PS. I booked through Hawaii Activities.com and I believe the company name is also Hawaii Nautical. No matter which you book it, it's completely worth it!

Every time I visit Hawaii, I always love to go Snorkeling and normally go to Hanauma Bay. This time we decided to try something different and was so glad we all went on Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel Adventure & BBQ Lunch Boat Tour. I enjoyed it so much that I will schedule it again next year. "Great job!" Captain Bob and crew, see you next year.

I booked this snorkeling activity for a short duration since a full-day activity seemed tiring. We checked in at Outrigger Beach and set sail! There was only one other Japanese couple with us; the rest were from overseas. The captain gave explanations in English, so I didn't understand much (laughs), but I could get the gist through gestures, so it was okay.

We received a full set of gear, including goggles, and headed into the sea! It seems wearing a life jacket is mandatory, but those who were experienced took them off. I was able to let some air out and dive a bit, so I thoroughly enjoyed the ocean.

Along the way, a sea turtle appeared, and I was able to see it up close! It was exciting to watch it come up for air and be so close. After swimming to my heart's content, we went sailing. Some people were drinking, and it turned into a bit of a party. They even took pictures for us, and we had a great time☆

I recommend this for anyone looking to do an activity without spending too much time!

1日がかりのアクティビティは疲れてしまいそうなので、短時間でシュノーケリングができるこちらを予約しました。
アウトリガーのビーチで受付して出航です！日本人は私達と1組の夫婦のみで、あとは海外の方ばかりでした。船長が説明をしてくれますが、英語なのでほぼ分かりませんでした(笑)ジャスチャーでなんとなく分かるのでオッケーです。
ゴーグル等セットを一式もらって海へ！救命胴衣は必須のようですが、慣れている方は外していました。少し空気を抜いて潜ったりできたので、思いっきり海を満喫しました。
途中、ウミガメが現れてしっかり見ることができました！空気を吸いに上がってきたり、かなり近くで見れたのは嬉しかったです。思う存分泳いで、その後はセーリング。お酒を飲んでる方もいて、ちょっとしたパーティーになってました。写真を撮ってくれたり、楽しく過ごせました☆
時間をかけずアクティビティをしたい方はオススメです！

First encounter with wild dolphins with my 5-year-old son.
I was worried since it was also his first experience with snorkeling, but he quickly got used to it and had a lot of fun.
The staff were very friendly and enjoyable, and by the end, he was completely a fan of the staff member (laughs).
Even after returning to Japan, he was super excited while sharing his impressions with his grandmother.

シュノーケルも初体験だったので心配しましたが、すぐに慣れてとても楽しめました。
スタッフの方もとても気さくで楽しい方達で、終盤にはすっかりスタッフのお姉さんのファンに(笑)
日本に帰ってからも祖母へ感想を話しながら大興奮でした。

The food was also quite delicious. The weather was nice, and the sunset and fireworks were amazing. There were staff members who could speak Japanese, so I was able to enjoy myself with peace of mind. 😊

ご飯も普通に美味しかった。天気も良くて夕陽も花火も最高。日本語が話せるスタッフがいて、安心して楽しめました(^^)

Hmm... honestly, my feeling is that it's disappointing not to have good weather. I did see sea turtles, but I hardly saw any fish while snorkeling. Perhaps I had too high expectations of the beautiful sea and sandy beaches. The instructors were very nice, so that's also a memorable part of the trip.

うーーん、、天候に恵まれず残念というのが正直な感想。ウミガメたしかに見れたけど。シュノーケルしたけど、魚もほとんど見れず。あまりにも綺麗な海や砂浜を想像してしまっていたあたしにも問題があるのでしょうか。
インストラクターの方々はとても感じが良かったので、これも旅の思い出です。

This was awesome! The entire crew was funny and helpful. There were plenty of turtles and fish for everyone to enjoy! The only downside was how many different groups of tourists were also at the same location at the same time. Still plenty of awesome pictures and fun!! Would do it again in a heart beat!

Our driver and tour guide, Lola, did a great job explaining both the history and local importance of the sites we visited. Her sense of humor made the tour all the more enjoyable.

On the day we participated, there were many Japanese people, and we split into two boats: one for Japanese only and one for a mix of Japanese and foreigners.

We were on the mixed boat, but it was reassuring to have Japanese staff members on board. The tide was a bit high that day, so we couldn't see the sandbar, and the water level was about waist-deep. If you want to see a sandbar like in the photos, I recommend researching in advance. Here, you can stand, so we practiced snorkeling, but you can also play volleyball.

After that, we enjoyed a juicy hamburger lunch! It was really delicious, and I was happy that soft drinks were unlimited. Next was turtle watching! We were able to see a few close up. Finally, we went snorkeling around the coral! There were many small fish swimming, and it was beautiful. By the way, the water is deep here, so you can't stand. You can rent snorkeling gear (fins, mask) and life jackets to swim. The weather can change quickly, so it's convenient to have a light jacket. A towel is essential.

The staff were friendly, and we had a great time enjoying the ocean!

参加した日は日本人が多く、日本人だけの船と日本人＋外国人混合の船に分かれて出発しました。

私達は日本人＋外国人混合の船でしたが、日本人のスタッフの方がいたので安心でした。
この日は潮が少し満ちていたのでサンドバーは見られず、腰より低い位置くらいの水位がありました。
写真の様なサンドバーを見たい方は事前に調べておく事をおススメします。
ここでは足がつくので私達はシュノーケルの練習を行いましたが、
バレーボールで遊ぶことも出来ます。

その後はジューシーなお肉のハンバーガーランチ！これはとっても美味しかったです。ソフトドリンクが飲み放題なのも嬉しかったです。
次はウミガメウォッチング！割と近くで数匹見ることができました＾＾
最後はサンゴの周りでシュノーケリングです！小さい魚が沢山泳いでいて綺麗でした。
ちなみにここは深いため足がつきません、シュノーケルセット(フィン、マスク)とライフジャケットなどを借りて泳ぐことができます。
天気が変わりやすいので、羽織りものがあると便利です。タオルは必須です。

スタッフの方も気さくで、海を満喫できて楽しかったです！！

There are various dolphin tours, but this tour where we encountered sea turtles was excellent.
Although Honolulu has high prices and relatively few good restaurants, the lunch we had here (hamburgers) was delicious, especially since we were hungry from exercising. My 9-year-old daughter also enjoyed it and gave it high praise! It became a wonderful memory of Hawaii.

イルカツアーはいろいろありますが、ウミガメに出会える本ツアーは大変良かったです。
ホノルルは物価も高いわりにおいしいお店が少ないですが、
こちらでいただきました昼食（ハンバーガー）、運動してお腹がすいていたこともあり、ウチの9歳の娘も美味かった、と好評でした！
ハワイの良き思い出となりました。

I wanted to go on a sunset cruise, but it was fully booked, so I gave up on that. However, choosing this option was definitely the right decision!

I've walked on Waikiki Beach before, but seeing the beach and Diamond Head from the ocean was spectacular.

It was faster than I expected and thrilling. The only downside was a group of students from Canada who were making a lot of noise, getting injured, and even throwing up. However, I think it was an experience that makes me want to participate again.

サンセットクルーズに乗りたかったのですが、予約がいっぱいで断念しましたが、こちらにして大正解でした！
ワイキキビーチで散歩したことはあっても、海から見るビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドは壮観でした。

思ったよりスピードがあって、スリリングでした。
カナダからの学生の団体がいて、大騒ぎして怪我をしていたり、吐いたりしてて騒がしかったのが唯一の難点でした。
しかし、また参加したいと思える内容だったと思います。

The entrance has a heavy door, and I could see tables with tablecloths from outside, which made me worry about my outfit. However, I was relieved to see people eating in T-shirts and shorts (laughs). The pasta was chewy and delicious, and the dessert was also tasty. The prices are reasonable, so I would like to go again.

入口が重厚感のある扉で、テーブルクロスのあるテーブルが外から見えたので、服装大丈夫か？と心配しましたが、Tシャツ短パンで食べられている方も居てホッとしました(笑)
パスタがもちもちで美味しかったのと、デザートも美味しかった
お値段もリーズナブルなので、また行きたいと思います。

The staff and crew worked wonderfully together to create a pleasant experience for us during the tour. My elderly parents couldn't participate in many activities, but while we were resting on the boat, they pointed out swimming sea turtles and recommended meals, showing great consideration. It became a lifelong memory with my parents.

スタッフ、クルーの皆さんが、ツアーを盛り上げようと素晴らしいチームワークで気持ちの良い時間を過ごさせていただきました。　高齢の両親はあまりアクティビティに参加できませんでしたが、ボートで休んでいるときも、ウミガメが泳いでいることを教えてくださったり、食事を勧めてくださったりと、気配りをしてくださいました。　両親との一生の思い出になりました。　

I was worried about departing due to the rainy season, but fortunately, the weather was nice, and I was able to see a beautiful sunset over the sea from the ship, which became a wonderful memory! The crew members were cheerful, and I enjoyed some light snacks (like chips and bread) to satisfy my hunger, making it a fun experience!

雨期のため出港するか不安でしたが、運よく天気も良く船上から綺麗な夕日を海から見ることができ、とても良い思い出になりました！船員の方たちも陽気で、軽食(チップスやパンなど)で小腹も満たされ、楽しかったです！

This time, I chose the Stage Side VIP Dinner Course for Rock of Ages, which I had been curious about for a while. After enjoying a Mai Tai and various snacks at the welcome reception, along with beautifully arranged fruit, we moved to our stage-side seats.

The dinner included a main lobster, salmon, steak, and salad, all served in just the right portions and delicious. We enjoyed the show while sipping drinks without having to move from our seats. The impersonators of Elvis and Michael, along with the female vocalist, were excellent in both singing and performance. The collaboration of hula dancing and rock and roll was captivating and left us very satisfied.

The cast also came down close to us, and there was a fire dance, making for a high-quality show that kept us excited the entire time. We were even able to take photos with the cast after the show. There were families with small children, so I thought it would be nice to bring my daughter’s family next time.

今回は前から気になっていたロック・ア・フラショーのステージサイドＶＩＰディナーコースを選びました。ウエルカムレセプションでマイタイと各種おつまみや、お花仕立てのフルーツを頂いた後ステージサイドの席へ移動。
ディナーは、メインのロブスターにサーモン、ステーキ、サラダ等どれも程良い量で美味しく戴きました。席の移動もなくドリンクを飲みながらショーを拝見。エルビス、マイケル両そっくりさんと女性ボーカルは歌もパフォーマンスもうまく、ダンサーとのフラダンス、ロックンロールのコラボは魅力たっぷりで大満足。
キャストも近くに降りてきたり、ファイヤーダンスもありと休む間もないクオリティーの高いショーで大興奮のひと時でした。ショー後にキャストとの写真も撮れました。小さいお子様ずれの方もいたので、次回は娘家族も連れてきたいと思いました。

Shortly after departure, while everyone was offering prayers to the blue sea, dolphins began to swim nearby. When we hurriedly entered the water together, we could see the dolphins swimming!

During snorkeling, we were also able to see sea turtles and many fish.

Communication was perfectly fine in Japanese. There was even a morning call on the day, which was really kind. Above all, the crew members were truly friendly and cheerful. They ensured safety while we were in the water.

I'm in my mid-50s, but I can't swim, I'm scared of the ocean, and I was worried about seasickness. However, with the wetsuit rental and life jacket, I wasn't cold and didn't sink! I took motion sickness medication in advance, so I was fine on both the bus and the boat.

The sparkling blue sea, hula dancing, ukulele performances, and the burgers we ate on the boat were all delicious, packed with fun.

I no longer fear the sea or the boat! Thank you so much to all the staff. I would love to participate again when I go to Hawaii. This is a tour I want many people to join! Dolphin & You, which is gentle to the sea, marine life, and people, is the best!

出航間もなく、青い海にみんなでお祈りを捧げているうちに、イルカたちが近くを泳ぎはじめました。
みんなでちょっと急いで海に入ると、イルカたちが泳いでいるのが見えましたー(^^)

シュノーケリングではウミガメやたくさんの魚たちも見ることができました。

連絡はすべて日本語で大丈夫。
当日はモーニングコールもあり、本当に親切です。
なんといってもクルーの皆さんが本当にフレンドリーで、ニコニコ。そして海ではしっかり安全を確認してくれています。

私は50代半ばですが、泳げないし、海はこわいし、船酔いも心配でしたが、ウェットスーツレンタルにライフジャケットなので、寒くないし沈みません！ 酔い止めをあらかじめ飲んでおいたらバスも船も大丈夫でした。

キラキラの青い海、フラダンス、ウクレレ演奏、船の上で食べるバーガーも美味しくて、ぎゅぎゅっと楽しさが詰まっていました。

海も船もこわくなくなりました！
スタッフの皆様本当にありがとうございました。
またハワイに行ったら参加したいです。

I had a great time last time, so I made a reservation again this time. Last time it was just my husband and me, but this time I participated with my mother and a friend, making it four of us.

My mother, who is in her 50s, also challenged herself on the slides! There are many slides that adults can enjoy as well. It might be better to wear a type of flip-flop that doesn't come off easily (the kind that holds your foot) so you don't have to keep taking them off.

The lockers allow for easy access, so you can enjoy yourself without carrying your belongings. You can also reapply sunscreen during your visit. There are changing rooms available, but it's better to wear your swimsuit underneath beforehand so you can start having fun right away.

前回行って楽しかったので、今回も予約しました。前回は夫婦2人。今回は母と友人と4人で参加しました。
50代の母もスライダーに挑戦！大人でも楽しめるスライダーが多いです。脱げないタイプのビーサン（ホールドするやつ）の方がいちいち脱がなくて済むので、よいかも。
ロッカーは出し入れ自由なので荷物を持たずに楽しめます。途中で日焼け止めの塗り直しなども可能です。
更衣室もありますが、事前に下に水着を着用してきたほうがすぐ楽しめます。

They came to pick us up by bus, but it was incredibly cold. We managed to cope with parkas and bath towels. We went as two women, and the bus seats were spacious, allowing us to relax and take a nap.

We couldn't bring in bottled drinks like juice or tea. The Japanese staff kindly said, "We'll give them to you on the way back, and we'll make sure you can drink during the trip." When we went to pick up our things on the way back, they had stored them in the refrigerator for us.

Unlike in Japan, the pool allowed cameras, flip-flops, cell phones, hats, and sunglasses on the slides! There were many families with children, but adults can have plenty of fun too!

The food isn't very promising. The price for a hamburger set is $9.99, which is reasonable, but it's best to go at a different time because there are long lines during lunch hours. I waited in line for a little over an hour.

I definitely want to go again! However, the lockers are quite expensive at $18, and you don't get your money back. That's equivalent to about 1900 yen, which is a level you wouldn't pay in Japan.

バスで迎えに来てくださるんですが、とてつもなく寒いです。パーカーやバスタオルでしのぎました。女二人で行きましたが、バスの席もゆったりしていて、のんびりうたた寝出来ました。
ジュースやお茶などのペットボトルは持ち込めないです。日本のスタッフさんが「帰りにお渡ししますし、途中も飲めるようにしておきますね」とかなり親切にしてくださいました。帰りに預けたものを取りに行くと、冷蔵庫に入れて保管してくれていました。
プールも日本と違ってカメラ、ビーサン、ケータイ、帽子、サングラスつけたままのスライダーがOKでした！
子連れの方が多くいますが、大人でも充分はしゃげますし楽しいです！
食べ物はあまり期待できません。
値段はハンバーガーセットが$9.99なので、まずまずですが、時間をずらすといいですがお昼時はかなーーーり並びます。私は1時間少し並びました。
また行きたい！ってなります！
ただロッカーは大$18とかなり高いです。お金も帰って来ません。日本円だと１９００円相当、、、日本だと借りないレベルです。

My first sandbar experience.
I thought it was an unbelievable sight when I saw it on TV, so I joined this tour to see it in person.
Perhaps it wasn't the right season for the sandbar, as there was more seawater than I expected, which was a bit disappointing, but I was very satisfied to swim with sea turtles.
Next time, I want to change the timing and participate again!

初めてのサンドバー。
テレビで見てあり得ない景色だと思い、ナマで見たいと今回のツアーに参加させて頂きました。
サンドバーは時期じゃなかったのか、思ってたより海水が多くちょっと残念でしたが、ウミガメと泳げて大満足です。
次回は時期を変更して、再度参加したいです！

It was cold, and the water was up to my waist, but I was able to see turtles, and snorkeling was fun. The guides were very friendly, and it was an enjoyable tour. The food was delicious.

It would be better to have an underwater camera (you can either buy a toy camera or borrow a GoPro). Many people had waterproof phone cases.

On the way back, I didn't have much cash and had a bit of trouble with tips... (I was a bit careless since there were tours that didn't require tips).

In October, it was cold, possibly because it was cloudy. It might be a good idea to have a towel and a long-sleeved jacket.

寒くて、腰まで水が浸かりましたが、亀もみれたし、シュノーケリングもたのしかったです。ガイドのみなさんも非常に感じがよくて、楽しいツアーでした。食事もおいしかったです。
水中カメラ的なの(トイカメラを買うかGoproを借りるかできますが)があった方がいいです。(防水用の携帯ケースを持たれてる方がたくさんいました。)
帰り際で、現金があまりなくて、チップに少し困りました…(いらないツアーもあったので油断してました。)
10月で、曇っていたためか寒かったです。タオルと長袖の上着があったほうがいいかもしれません。

I think it was great that almost no Japanese people were on the bus, and even on the boat, we didn't encounter any Japanese, which made it feel very foreign despite being in Hawaii. We were able to connect with people from various countries on the bus, all in English, and it was nice to wrap up our last night in Waikiki together as a family on this tour.

日本人がほとんどバスに乗ってなくて、船の中でも顔をあわさずハワイなのに日本人に遭遇することなく外国感満載で、英語オンリーでバスの中でも色んな国の人たちと一体感になれてワイキキ最後の夜を家族全員でこのツアーで締めくくれたのは良かったと思う。

The food was delicious, and the seating was right in front, which made me very satisfied! I had such a fun time. The lively atmosphere felt very much like being abroad, and I was really glad I came to Hawaii. The welcome drink was tasty, and I could choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The fruit platter was cute, and everything was enjoyable from start to finish. The main dish, lobster, and the seasoning of the meat were just right, and I finished it all (laughs). It might have been a bit too much for Japanese people, but I was able to eat slowly, which was really nice. The show was loud, almost full, and even without understanding English, I enjoyed just watching it. I definitely want to make a reservation again next time! They also took photos for us, which became a memorable keepsake. Other Japanese guests seemed to be having a great time too, and since the location is facing Kalakaua Avenue, it was easy to find. I felt that the atmosphere is really important. Time flew by quickly. The Hawaiian vibe, the excitement of being abroad, and the food all resulted in complete satisfaction! I thought I might not need the photos, but it’s nice to have something tangible to remember it by. We could also take videos and photos, which made for fun memories!

お料理も美味しく、座席も目の前で大満足でした！すごく、楽しい時間を過ごせました。海外らしい盛り上がりで、ハワイに来て良かったなとすごく重いました(^^)ウェルカムドリンクも美味しく、アルコールとノンアルコールを選べたり、フルーツの盛り合わせも可愛く、最初から最後まで楽しかったです。メインのロブスター、お肉の味付けも丁度良く完食しました（笑）日本人には少し量が多かったかもですが、ゆっくり食べることができたのですごく良かったです(^^)ショーも大音量で、満席近く、英語がわからなくても、見てるだけで楽しめました(^^)次も、予約したいと思います！！写真も撮ってもらい、思い出に残るものとなりました。ほかの日本人の方もすごく楽しそうにしており、場所もカラカウア通りに面しているのでまようことなく行けました。雰囲気って、すごく大事なんだなぁと感じました☆時間がたつのが、早かったですね。ハワイらしさと、海外のテンション、そしてお料理、全てが満足となる結果でした！写真は要らないかな？と思いましたが、やっぱり形に残るものがあると良いですね(^^)ビデオ撮影や、写真を撮ることも出来たので、楽しい思い出となりました！！

At the sandbar, we practiced volleyball and snorkeling, and for lunch, we had hamburgers made with meat grilled by the staff. We also saw sea turtles, and the actual snorkeling experience was amazing with so many fish. It was the best tour! No need to worry about language at all! Sunscreen is a must! ☀️☀️☀️ The guide was also a funny person and kept us entertained during the boat ride.
