I participated with two friends, making a total of three of us. Before we departed, the weather was not very good, and I was quite worried, but we were able to experience a beautiful sandbar as the sun came out. The visibility wasn't great, probably due to the rain, so I give it three stars, but we did see sea turtles, and the crew was cheerful, making it a lot of fun! I think it’s worth going! There was a tour guest who mistakenly thought it was a regular cruise, and they seemed to have some downtime while snorkeling, so I think it's important to be careful when choosing a tour. i went on the tour with my 2 and 4 year old kids and my mother, my sister, and aunt. I was little worried because our group age was ranging from 2-65 year old. But we all had a wonderful time and this became one of the best memories we have.
The tour was well organized and the boat is new and clean and lunch was pretty good. It could be little cold depending on the weather, but overall it was a great tour! I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

We particularly found our guide Ernal Smith to be informative, entertaining and caring with enthusiasm and excellent and expansive knowledge. It was definitely a highlight of our Hawaiian visit.
We took the afternoon dolphin watch cruise that set sail at 1pm. Saw some sea turtles and a dolphin pod from afar. The snorkelling was nothing great...lots of reef fishes and mostly dead coral. Being prone to motion sickness, I was elated at how wonderfully stable the catamaran was, and for once I actually enjoyed sailing instead of spending half my time being sick over the rails. In spite of my disappointment at not seeing dolphins up close, the afternoon turned out to be a really pleasant cruise along the beautiful Ko Olina coastline. The staff were attentive and friendly. My 3 year son threw a fit when I got him out of the choppy waters during the snorkelling session. Kudos to the staff who successfully quietened him down by giving him bread to feed the fishes from the back of the ship. Food was great. Pulled pork sandwiches, chips and fruit salad were delicious. All in all, a lovely afternoon.

Our waters are cooler than what you would experience in the Caribbean, so we don't feature the fanning type of coral- mostly the brain, and other types of more rock looking features. During our stay, we were worried about the weather because a typhoon was unusually coming, but it was sunny and we were able to swim in the emerald sea! The staff were cheerful and kind, and I’m really glad we used this tour!

The only one bad thing for me was that I didn't remember/they didn't know how much it cost. I reserved this tour through the internet in advance like 10 days ago and payed with my credit card. Since my friends(there were 5 of us) tried to pay me by cash at the day of the tour but the voucher didn't mention about the price, I asked at the front how much they charged on my credit card. And the lady checked my name on the list and PC and said it's $485. I thought it's a little more inexpensive than I thought, so I asked her to double check and she said it's correct. So we just split the bill. But I found that they charged $695, which was the correct amount, after I left hawaii and got back home...Unfortunately all other friends are form other countries, so I gave up getting the difference in the bill from them. :(
I think the total amount should be on the voucher or at least they should have gave me correct info!
The weather unexpectedly turned to rain. It wasn't constant, and there were moments of sunshine peeking through the heavy clouds, so it was a rain I could accept. I couldn't help but feel a bit regretful, thinking how much more beautiful it would have been if it had been sunny.
We had plenty of time for snorkeling around the turtle spot and at the sandbar, so I enjoyed it thoroughly. The highlight was definitely the delicious hamburger for lunch. It was amazing.
I felt like the wait for the bus back was unnecessarily long, but my swimsuit dried completely. The bus had air conditioning, so a cover-up is a must.
