The dog was a great swimmer, friendly, and very well-behaved! In the second half, we enjoyed underwater scooters. There was no trouble communicating with the instructor using gestures. It might be a good idea to review how to equalize your ears beforehand. For those with claustrophobia, it might be a bit tough, but I had a great time. I was able to see turtles up close, and the fish came to the food in my hands. Photos are $40, videos are $40, and both together are $60. I purchased both as a keepsake.

I took a deep breath, ducked under water and up into the globe of my personal submarine. There was a small chain link bag of fish food that I was instructed to shake, by hand motions, from the diver that stayed near and guided me around. The fish swarmed around me, bumping my fingers as they eagerly gobbled the food. It was surreal. The trip began with A few of us boarding a large motorized rubber raft that took us to a sandbar. The guide had a dog that was very enthusiastic. At one point it jumped into the water and swam behind the boat, which continued on leaving the dog way behind. At one point it was so far behind it was hard to see it. A real swimmer. We jumped into the water and were instructed how to use the Seabob. It pulled us around the water, which was too shallow to really get the feel of the machine. Low tide was not a good time to do this. It was an incredible experience. I highly recommend it.

I had a great time enjoying SUP at the sandbar with my dog Shaka. I took a lot of photos with my iPhone, creating many memories. Thanks to the diver's care, I was able to see fish and sea turtles up close with Scuba Bob. It was truly an amazing experience. Scuba provided the photos as data for the group for $40. Videos are an additional $40. I think that's a very reasonable price.

I joined this tour after reading reviews on Veltra. At first, I was a bit worried because there were some negative reviews, but once I participated in the tour, I realized there was nothing to worry about. Everyone was very friendly and nice. However, regarding what to bring, I think it's essential to have something warm, like a large towel, especially during the winter season (we participated in February) when coming out of the water.

While I recommend scuba diving, I highly recommend Scuba Bob, where you can comfortably see underwater! If you have a phone in a waterproof case, you can take a lot of great photos underwater! That’s what I did. If I have the chance to go again, I would choose this tour.

It´s quite a unique and different experience. I don´t know if all of these scooters are like this but mine didn´t move much. You could turn but not move forward so that was disappointing.

I saw mostly sardines, a couple of pretty fish and two small sea turtles at the bottom (but you had to be looking hard for them). The fun thing is that they have a food thing attached to each scooter so you squeeze it and the fish (mostly sardines) come right in front of your face.

The crew was really helpful and nice. They gave me some sea sickness oil but I think they should offer it to everyone since four of us threw up.

Overall it was an OK experience but I wouldn´t do it again like I´ve done snorkeling multiple times.

It was a bit windy, but the sky was clear! The sandbar wasn't out, but there was a tour schedule, so it couldn't be helped. However, walking in the sea feels great! You can encounter honu while snorkeling! Other tours have boat entries, but Captain Bruce's tour allows entry from the sandbar, snorkeling right above the honu's habitat! The staff's support was also very satisfying, and I highly recommend it!

The Angel's Sea was truly beautiful! The water temperature was a bit chilly, but I gradually got used to it. Occasionally, there are stones mixed in with the sand, so I recommend bringing surf shoes if you're concerned about that.

In addition to exploring the sandbar, we could also enjoy activities like snorkeling, floating, and SUP, making for a very enjoyable half-day! During snorkeling, we were able to see three sea turtles, which I also recommend.

There were plenty of staff members, so I felt safe throughout the program. Additionally, we could interact with other participants during the program, which I think is one of its attractions.

We participated as a couple. We were moved to see beautiful fish. A sea turtle swam from afar, and the staff operated the sea bob to take us close to it. We were thrilled to see the gracefully swimming sea turtle at a distance where we could almost reach it. It's an activity that anyone can enjoy without any swimming skills, so you can relax and have fun. I think it depends on the weather and luck, but the afternoon of February 13, 2020, was amazing. The contrast of the blue sky, the white sandbar, and the blue ocean was stunning, and even as a beginner in snorkeling, I was able to see a sea turtle! A turtle came so close that I felt like saying, "Don't come this way!" and I swam right above it. I had seen many turtles basking on the beach in Hawaii Island, but this was my first time seeing one swimming in the ocean. I was thrilled. Additionally, besides the popular restaurant Masala, we had plenty of buffet-style lunch. Not only the Japanese guide but also the foreign staff, including the captain, all made an effort to communicate in Japanese, which made me very satisfied. (It felt more respectful to Japanese customers compared to other tours where foreign staff would say, "I can't speak Japanese" and just speak in English.) I noticed thoughtful details, like the sandals I took off when boarding the boat being neatly arranged when getting off, and towels laid out on the bus seats for the return trip. I thought I would definitely like to participate again when I come back to Oahu.

Last year, a friend made a reservation with Beltora for me, and this time I booked it myself!

The sandbar had high water levels, so we couldn't walk on it, but the weather was perfect and we had a great time! Last year, I encountered a sea turtle swimming on the surface, and while I didn't see one this year, I was happy to spot two turtles stuck among the corals while snorkeling! Captain Bruce's staff are always polite and fun, and they clearly let you know when someone spots a sea turtle while snorkeling.

Regarding what to bring, most items available for rent on-site, except for wetsuits and snorkeling masks, are paid rentals, so I recommend bringing seasickness medication and anything else you're used to from Japan. I participated in February, which is the rainy season, but the day I went was sunny! However, the day before it rained heavily, so it's best to check the weather for your participation day. If there's a forecast for heavy rain, it can be too cold to enter the water, and of course, snorkeling wouldn't be possible, which would make spending time on the boat a waste of money. If you have a date with free cancellation and there's a clear heavy rain forecast, I recommend canceling.

The shuttle bus to the meeting place was over 10 minutes late for two consecutive years. This is common in Hawaii, so it's best to arrive early and wait for at least 15 minutes before the meeting time!

This time the weather was sunny, but there were occasional clouds, and the sea was constantly cold and shivering. When playing at the sandbar or snorkeling, it's recommended to leave valuables on the boat and minimize your belongings, bringing only a small amount of cash and your smartphone in a waterproof case.

This time, I added a photo session for an extra $80 because we struggled to take good pictures ourselves last year. The Japanese staff from Captain Bruce always provide fun explanations and host the event, and this time it was a male staff member who took photos in between activities. There were plenty of opportunities and timing for photos, but the technical skills were completely amateur, and I don't think it's worth the $80, so I would recommend skipping it. While I was very satisfied with Captain Bruce's tour itself, the photo session was just one staff member (an amateur) taking pictures with a good camera. Many photos were shadowy or unclear, which was disappointing.

I plan to go to Hawaii next year and the year after, and I intend to participate in Captain Bruce's tour each time, so I recommend booking with Beltora, who has great customer service! The photos I uploaded were taken with our own smartphones!

持ってきた方が良い物の記載で、現地貸し出し有りの物はウエットスーツとシュノーケリングマスク以外はほぼ有料レンタルなので、船酔いの為の酔い止めとか、日本で飲み慣れている物を持参する事をおススメします⭐︎私が参加した２月は雨季ですが、私の参加日は晴天でした♪でも前日はドシャ降りの大雨で催行だったので、参加日の天気は気にした方が良いです⭐︎大雨だと、海に寒過ぎて入れず、もちろんシュノーケリングも出来ないので、船の上で過ごすだけなのはお金が無駄過ぎます。無料キャンセル出来る日程であきらかに大雨予報であれば、キャンセルをおススメします。

集合場所へのお迎えのバスは２年連続10分以上遅れて来ました。ハワイあるあるなので、集合時間前に集合して、15分は待ちましょう！

今回は晴天でしたが、時々雲がかかり、海は常に冷たく震えてました。サンドバーで遊んだり、シュノーケリング中は荷物は船に置くので貴重品や荷物は少なくし、少しの＄とスマホ等を防水ケースに入れて身に付ける事をおススメします！

今回、プラス$80も付けてフォトセッション付きを申し込みました。去年自分達だけではうまく写真が撮れなかったからです。毎回キャプテンブルースの日本人スタッフが楽しい説明、司会進行してくれて、今回は男性で楽しかったのですが、その人が合間に撮影をするというものでした。写真を撮る時間やタイミングは沢山あったのですが、技術面が完全に素人で$80の価値は絶対にないので、申し込まない方が良いと思います。キャプテンブルースのツアー自体は本当に満足していますが、フォトセッションはいちスタッフ(素人)が良いカメラで撮るだけです。影だらけや誰か分からない写真が多く、残念でした。

来年も再来年もハワイに行く予定で、毎回キャプテンブルースのこのツアーに参加するつもりで、申し込みは対応が良いベルトラさんをおススメします♪アップした写真は自分達のスマホで撮影したぶんです！

This was the tour I was most looking forward to on my first trip to Hawaii. The sandbar was about 20 centimeters deep. Walking on the ocean was refreshing, and all the staff were friendly, so I enjoyed it without any worries. The joy of encountering sea turtles while snorkeling! There were about 5 or 6 of them... I was happy they came by the boat on the way back. Even the kids who couldn't swim enjoyed playing in the ocean with stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. And the lunch was very delicious! It might be rude to say it was unexpected, but it was truly tasty. If I get the chance to go to Hawaii again, I will definitely want to participate again.

I visited the dream sandbar that is often featured on TV. The weather was absolutely perfect, to the point where the locals said it felt like summer, not winter in Hawaii. My daughters, aged 6 and 12, had a great time. My eldest was especially excited to participate in snorkeling and encountered over ten sea turtles. The shallow area in the middle of the ocean was truly magical and wonderful. The guide warned us about seasickness, but the sea was calm, and we were totally fine. I would love to go again.
