It was a cloudy day during the rainy season, but I was able to enjoy it without any downpours. I was amazed when a sandbar suddenly appeared from a depth of 10 meters! I didn't bring reef shoes, so I walked barefoot, which was a bit painful on the soles of my feet (laughs). During snorkeling, I was really happy to see beautiful fish and sea turtles up close! The weather in Hawaii in January was not great. This time, there was light rain from the morning, it was a bit chilly, and the wind was quite strong, which made me worry. However, the staff created a very fun and bright atmosphere for the participants who were feeling down. When we actually arrived at the sandbar, the rain stopped, and the water was surprisingly not too cold (everyone borrowed free wetsuits). After taking photos at the sandbar and returning to the boat, we saw a sea turtle swimming around the boat. Everyone's low spirits instantly lifted, and we started taking lots of pictures. There was also a snorkeling lesson in shallow water, where we swam about 10 meters to see if we were okay before going to deeper areas, which was great for beginners. I thought I couldn't do it because I can't see anything without my glasses, but they lent me prescription goggles, so I was able to give snorkeling a try. The waves were quite high, but I managed to get through, which was good. My first snorkeling experience was amazing; there were lots of coral reefs below me, and I could see colorful fish swimming around. Plus, I even encountered a sea turtle, which was fantastic. By the time we were heading back, the clouds cleared, and the sun came out, making the sea sparkle beautifully. I never thought snorkeling could be this wonderful. I was so happy to have such a great experience. The driver who picked us up from the hotel was also friendly and wonderful. I truly appreciate how well the staff treated us. If I come to Hawaii again, I would love to join this tour once more.

1月のハワイは天気がイマイチ。今回も朝から小雨がパラパラ、肌寒く、風もなかなか強くて大丈夫かと心配でした。ブルーな参加者達に対して、スタッフさん達はものすごく楽しく明るく雰囲気づくりをしてくれました。実際サンドバーまで到着すると、雨はあがり、海の中も思いのほか寒くなく（無料のウェットスーツをみんな借りました）サンドバーで写真撮って船に戻るとウミガメが、船の周りを回っていました。みんな低かったテンションが一気に上がって写真を撮りまくっていました。シュノーケリングも浅瀬でレッスンがあり、10メートルくらい泳いでみて大丈夫そうなら足のつかないところに行くという、初心者にはありがたいものでした。私は眼鏡をとったらなんにも見えないので無理だと諦めていましたが、度付きのゴーグルを貸してくださったのでシュノーケリングにチャレンジできました。波がなかなか高かったけどなんとか進めたので良かったです。初シュノーケリングは最高で、眼下にはサンゴ礁がたくさんあり、カラフルなお魚がいっぱい泳いでいるのが見れました。しかもウミガメにも遭遇できて言うことなしです。帰る頃には雲も切れて晴れ間見え、海がキラキラして素敵でした。シュノーケリングがこんなに素敵だとは思いませんでした。素晴らしい体験ができて嬉しかったです。またホテルからピックアップしてくださったドライバーさんもフレンドリーで素敵でした。スタッフの方々にはほんとに良くしていただき感謝です。ハワイに来たらまたこのツアーに参加したいです。

Since I have a 5-year-old child, I tried to reserve a kayak, but I was told, "There are few available, so please let us know on the boat. We participated in an event with my husband during the New Year. We were picked up near the hotel and set sail from a marina about 30 minutes away by car. An interpreter was also on board the boat. We anchored in just the right spot and took turns diving in. Wearing yellow helmet-like capsules, we rode sea scooters into the underwater world, which was like a dream. By chance, we encountered a sea turtle, and it was truly moving! There was also a photographer who captured our moments. By the time we returned to the boat, a double rainbow appeared, which was even more touching! I want to go again!

In early December, I participated in a tour recommended by a colleague with my family of seven across three generations. We enjoyed the popular malasadas from Hawaii on the boat and headed offshore in less than seven minutes. The weather wasn't great, and the water was cold, reaching up to my waist, but I was amazed by the number of sea turtles. They approached us without fear. The tour guide was also very friendly. My 84-year-old and 82-year-old in-laws were thrilled and having a great time. The buffet-style BBQ lunch was delicious, and we went back for seconds. There was a little incident at the end, but I was grateful for the tour guide's quick response. This was a tour I would love to join again when I come back to Hawaii. This time, I participated with my 6-year-old son, and he decided not to go snorkeling. I thought I would have to skip snorkeling too to stay with him, but the tour staff member kindly said, "Don't worry, I'll look after your son. You and your partner can go ahead!" My son ended up having lunch on the boat and playing around it. I really appreciated that! We also got to experience stand-up paddleboarding, which was incredibly fun. Along the way, a sea turtle even came by and passed right next to my son! It was a great experience.

The weather was gloomy all day. The staff spoke to us in Japanese, so I was able to participate without any anxiety. Everyone was kind and taught us well.

I had plans in the morning and was looking for a tour in the afternoon when I found and booked this one. The guides spoke Japanese and were all friendly. The meal was a simple buffet, but with a 360-degree oceanfront view from the boat. The taste may vary depending on personal preference, but it was a luxurious lunch.

While snorkeling, I saw several sea turtles on the ocean floor, and I could see them up close! However, it can be cold in late December if it's not sunny! It's a good idea to have a warm rash guard, bath towel, and a change of T-shirt that you can wear on the boat.

I enjoyed the stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) without any additional charge, but due to safety concerns, the area where we could paddle was quite limited. Standing and paddling would end quickly, and we kept having to turn around and repeat that.

One disappointing thing was that one of the guides threw the leftover juice he was drinking into the sea. I was disheartened to see a guide, who is supposed to protect the beautiful Kaneohe Bay surrounded by coral reefs, throwing juice into the clean ocean.

ガイドさんたちは、日本語が話せて、みんなフレンドリー。
食事は、簡単なビュッフェでしたが、船の上だと360度オーシャンフロント。味は好みもあるかと思いますが、贅沢なランチでした。

シュノーケルをしていると、海の底にウミガメが何匹もいて、間近で見る事ができます！
しかし、12月下旬の晴れていないと寒いです！
必ず船の上で着られる温かいラッシュガードやバスタオル、替えのTシャツとかがあるといいですよ。

SUPが追加料金無く実施出来て楽しめましたが、安全上の問題で、SUPの出来る範囲がかなり狭く立って漕ぐとすぐに終わり。また、Uターンし、立って漕ぐと終わり。の繰り返し…でした。

残念だった事は、ガイドさんの1人が飲んでいたジュースの残りを海に捨てていた事です。
珊瑚礁に守られた美しいカネオヘ湾を守るガイドさんが、綺麗な海にジュースを捨てるなんてガッカリしました。

We had really high expectations, looking at the pictures and reading some of the reviews. Unfortunately, it did not turn out anything like we had expected.
The whole thing took over 6 hours, from the time we were picked up and dropped back. Mind you the actual underwater scooter experience was just 10 minutes of these 6 hours.
We were made to wait on the boat for about 3 hours and obviously lot of people got sea sick.

First, it's a good idea to thoroughly check the tide schedule and book your tour on a day when the low tide aligns with the sandbar experience. This will determine everything about the tour. We went on a day with a water depth of about 60 cm (which was the best day for us). Since we were aware of this, we weren't disappointed, and even with a water depth of 60 cm, it was still an amazing experience, so we enjoyed it thoroughly.

During the snorkeling, although there weren't many types, we were able to see a lot of fish. For lunch, we had healthy food, which is great during a trip when it's easy to lack vegetables. On the day we went, there was a decent amount of wind, so the sea kayaking was canceled, but we were able to do a little bit of stand-up paddleboarding (they teach you how to ride beforehand), and the kids could play with floaties and on the sea carpet, allowing us to spend a very fulfilling time. We even saw a sea turtle!

This was my first experience with my child. We were excited to see fish and sea turtles up close. We had to wear something like a helmet, but it became difficult because at first, the pressure underwater was manageable with just a little ear equalization, but suddenly the accompanying instructor pulled the plug, and the pressure caused pain in my eardrum. I wonder why that happened? I desperately tried to endure until the time was up, plugging my ears with my fingers. I wanted to ask for adjustments, but there was no one nearby, and I was scared. The boat was shared with about 15 people. We ate some snacks and regained our energy.

Fabulous experience - I would highly recommend this to everyone. Well organised, helpful staff, who went out of their way to make it an amazing experience for all. Plenty of time to snorkel when it wasn't your turn to ride on the underwater scooter. We saw turtles and lots of different types of fish. The photographer took great photos and a video, which you can pay to download later if you want to. A perfect day and I loved every minute of it.
One tip - take a sweatshirt. The weather wasn't great the day we went. Whilst the sea was warm, we were provided with wet suit tops so we were fine during the activity but we were a bit cold when we got out of the water, during the pack up and the boat ride back to shore.

Three years ago, I participated with my daughter and had a great time, so this time I joined with friends. The staff were very considerate, taking photos for us and accommodating the two who didn't participate in snorkeling by letting them stay on the cruiser. The malasadas and BBQ were also very delicious, and we even had seconds. We were blessed with wonderful weather and had the best time.

強いて言うなら、行きのドライバーさんが集合時間より遅れて来たこと、車内で配るスケジュールを1枚ずつ唾を付けて配っていたこと、カイルアへ行く途中の着替えがどこかのトイレで個数も少なく、地元の方も使うので譲っていたら時間が…となり焦ったぐらいです。ブーキモは空いててすぐパンケーキを食べれました。
あと、ツアーがチップ込みだと助かるな〜と思います。次回は干潮の時にぜひ参加します。

On the day of the tour, the weather and temperature were unusually pleasant for the rainy season, surprising even the guide, and it wasn't cold at all when we entered the sea. The staff were friendly and really helped to create a lively atmosphere. The water was shallow, reaching just below my waist, but I was able to see a variety of colorful tropical fish and sea turtles while snorkeling. Since I can swim, I would have liked to take off my life jacket and wear fins to dive a bit (though it might not have been safe). Overall, it was an amazing experience.

ツアー当日は、ガイドさんも驚くほどの雨期としては異例の天気と温度で、海に入っても全く寒くありませんでした。スタッフの方たちも気さくで大いに盛り上げてくれました。水深は浅いところで股下位でしたが、シュノーケリングでは色とりどりの熱帯魚やウミガメを見ることが出来ました。私は泳げるので出来たらライフジャケットを脱いでフィンをつけて潜ってみたかったです。

My son had a phenomenal time and can’t wait to go again. I have issues snorkeling but I was hopeful I wouldn’t have issues with this. Let’s just say I am extremely thankful that I did it once and that the staff was so very patient and helpful with people like me (who have water issues). I can’t say enough about how great the people are who work this tour and everyone should do it (at least once)

If you're going to the sandbar, I definitely recommend Heaven's Sea (Captain Bruce's). Other tours seem to guide you to places a bit further away.

The sea was cold, but the sandbar was very mystical, and I was able to see sea turtles, which made for great memories. The timing wasn't very good, and the tide only went down to about waist level, so I want to try again someday for a better experience.

The tour crew was also very fun, and the lunch was delicious.

Thanks to the clear weather, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The sandbar had knee-deep seawater, but it was not a problem. The staff were cheerful and fun, making for an enjoyable time. The lunch was delicious as well. I was able to spot a sea turtle while snorkeling. I was a bit wobbly on my first stand-up paddleboarding experience, but it was fun. I would love to join this tour again when I come back to Hawaii. I hope to reunite with the staff!

It was a trip with my son.

We participated because my son wanted to see a moving sea turtle. We were moved by the scenery from the sandbar and encountered a sea turtle in a familiar area. Later, a large sea turtle swam up to my son, who had become completely hooked on snorkeling, and he was very satisfied. It became a wonderful memory. The experience is definitely different when viewing from above the water compared to snorkeling. I am very grateful to Captain Yuka and Jamie for their great support.

When we arrived at the sandbar, the water was about waist-deep, and by the time we were heading back, it had risen to chest-deep. I was hoping we could walk on the sandbank, so that was disappointing. I think it would be helpful if there was an indication of the approximate water depth when signing up for the tour.

Snorkeling starts from a place where you can stand, which is reassuring for beginners, but it suddenly drops to about 10 meters deep, so those who are not good at swimming may feel scared.

Other activities like stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking were fun. However, it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't go very far and that if there were many people wanting to use them, we could only use them for a short time.

The grilled meat for lunch was delicious. There was plenty, and I went back for seconds multiple times.

シュノーケリングは足の着く場所からスタートするので初心者も安心ですが、
急に10メートルくらいの深さになるので、水泳の苦手な人は恐怖を感じます。
その他のアクティビティでSUPやカヤックは楽しかったです。ただ、近くのみであまり遠くには行けないのと、利用希望者が多いと短時間しか使えないのがちょっと残念でした。
ランチの焼肉は美味しかったです。沢山あって何度もおかわりしました。
次は潮目を確認してから参加したいと思います。
