The captain and staffs are amazing. They take good care of us and make sure we are safe while having fun. The boat provided spam musubi, chips, cookies, granola bars and drinks. We had fun playing SUP on the sandbar and the water is so clear. The snokeling is the most fun part of the tour. We were able to see sea turtle that swim by us so close. Highly recommended to join if you are coming to Hawaii.

During the transfer, the driver kindly introduced us to recommended restaurants along the way. He was very friendly and left a good impression.

We were able to see sea turtles. We took photos from the boat and also saw them swimming nearby while snorkeling.

It was great to be able to take commemorative photos while doing activities like stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).

**[Negative]**
The time when you can see sandbars like those shown in guidebooks and on websites is quite limited. Although we were there during a relatively low tide, the sand was completely submerged, and the water level was above an adult's waist.

This is due to weather conditions, so there's not much that can be done about it, but on the day we participated, there were strong winds, and the current was quite fast. The SUP was being swept away, so it didn't feel like a graceful activity, and it was physically exhausting.

Again, due to the weather, it can't be helped, but it had rained right up until the event, and there were strong winds during the activity time, so the sea didn't look very clear. (We didn't see many fish while snorkeling.)

Additionally, there were people who were confused when they were told on-site that they couldn't participate in snorkeling if they couldn't do the breaststroke. I think it would be good to include this information in the participation guidelines.

送迎の際にはドライバーの方が道中にあるおすすめレストランなど紹介してくれました。とても親切な方で好印象でした。

ウミガメを見ることができました。船上から写真を撮ることも、シュノーケリング中に近くを泳いでいるところを見ることもできました。

【悪かった】
ガイドブックやサイトHPに掲載されている写真ようなサンドバーがみられる時期はかなり限られています。比較的干潮に近い時間帯でしたが砂は全く見えず、水位は大人の腰より上でした。

これは天候によるものなのでどうしようもないですが、自分たちが参加した日は強風で、潮の流れがかなり早かったです。SUPもどんどん流されてしまうので、優雅に遊ぶという感じではなく、体力を消耗しました。

これも天候によるので仕方ないですが、直前まで雨が降っていたことと、アクティビティの時間帯に強風が吹いていたため、海はあまりきれいに見えませんでした。（シュノーケリングはあまり魚を見つけられませんでした。）

また、平泳ぎができないとシュノーケリングには参加できない。ということを現場で伝えられて戸惑っている方がいました。参加時の注意事項に記載してもよいかと思いました。


【人による】
別の方も口コミで書かれていましたが、日本語スタッフの方は終始タメ口でした。
海外で参加するアクティビティにもかかわらず、日本語でコミュニケーションをとることが可能な方がいてくれるのでありがたい。ととらえる方もいると思いますし、応対がやや失礼に感じると思う方もいると思います。これは払った料金とサービスの質を各位がどうとらえるかによるかと思います。

どの程度泳げるのかはスタッフでは判断できないので自己判断というのは分からなくもないですが、目安となる基準や、浅瀬で参加可否を判断してもらうためのステップとかはあってもいいのではないかと思いました。人によっては冷たく突き放されたように感じてしまうかと思いました。

This was my third time participating, and depending on the timing and the people going, the condition of the sandbar varied, which made it enjoyable. I was able to see a lot of sea turtles 🐢. During our free time, I had fun doing stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The boat provided plenty of spam musubi, snacks, and drinks, making it a quick but fulfilling tour. I used the first flight on the morning of December 30th for the New Year's holiday. The captain spoke in English, but then a female staff member named Izumi kindly explained everything in Japanese, which made my first snorkeling experience worry-free.

The weather was a bit cold, and it rained partway through, but not only were we able to see many sea turtles, we also got to swim with them.

There were other tours with various options that I considered, but I'm glad I chose Captain Cruise!

Wonderful female captain Hosanna and her crew with tons of experience and warm personalities. We went in November 2025- so many turtles and sealife, great play equipment and knowledgeable crew willing to help ensure our baby girl had a great time, the transportation from Waikiki to the boat launch was clutch! So great all around! And spam masubi and snacks on the boat ride was icing on the cake! Highly recommend 10 out of 10!!

The transportation and everything else was taken care of perfectly. It's reassuring that there is always someone who can speak Japanese, and there were plenty of turtles to see, so it felt like we had a turtle tour as well. 🤣

Meals and drinks were included, and there were plenty of activities besides snorkeling, which was great. On the bus ride there, they provided explanations of the tourist spots (in English, but it was simple enough to understand), so I think it's a good idea to go on the first day. ☺︎

However, my two elementary school-aged sons remembered last year's experience and chatted a lot with the crew! This year, it seems that the honu (sea turtles) came very close to us often! I didn't snorkel with my face in the water, but while playing and taking photos in the shallow area, they came right up close to me!

At SAP, the rain and wind were strong, and my son said, "This year is tough!" (laughs) Still, we had a valuable experience, enjoyed warm drinks and chatted on the boat, and even ate spam musubi, which was fun! Our family promised the ladies that we would come back next year!

Even if you get tired from swimming, you can take a break on the boat, and you have quite a bit of freedom to enjoy your time on-site. The sandbar was very beautiful, and I was lucky enough to encounter a turtle. Those who had booked the same time as us were split into two boats, and we enjoyed snorkeling and free time at different times.

After receiving an explanation about snorkeling, my mother asked, "Is it okay for me to go since I can swim?" and was told firmly, "We can't know if you can swim or not. You have to decide for yourself." This made her anxious, and she decided not to go. Since this trip was meant to be a way to show appreciation to my mother, seeing her sad face after being spoken to so coldly made me really sad.

Everyone else went snorkeling, so while we were waiting, a staff member from another boat came over and said that if she could swim, she could join the snorkeling group. They also offered paddleboards and floaties, but all of that was from the other boat. There was no encouragement from the staff on my boat for those who weren't going snorkeling at that time.

I understand that they need to be strict to prevent accidents and that they can't take responsibility, but I wish I could have experienced it with the staff from the other boat who communicated in a kinder way. It was disappointing.

私たち以外はみんな行っていたので時間を潰していると別の船のスタッフの方が話しかけてくれて、泳げるなら泳げる人の捕まっていけばシュノーケリングも大丈夫だよ。と案内してくれました。暇そうにしているとサップや浮き輪も案内してくれましたが、全部別の船の方。私が乗った船の方からはシュノーケリングに行っていない人へその時これしてていいよ〜など声掛けはありませんでした。

もちろん事故に遭わないために強くいうことや責任をが取れないことも承知していますが、これなら優しく伝えてくれる別の船の方で体験したかったなと思い残念でした。

I looked at various reviews and checked the tide before going. I had a lot of fun paddleboarding and snorkeling. Izumi-san (a Japanese person) explained everything, so it's totally fine even if you don't understand English. About 70% of the participants were Japanese. Since it's a place you can only reach by boat, the price might be reasonable, but since the playtime is only about two hours, it would be nice if it were a bit longer. There was also a simple toilet available.

It was my first time snorkeling, but the water was murky, and there were only black fish that looked like carp. I heard there were sea turtles, but I didn't see any. Some people say it's really beautiful, but I think it's better not to have high expectations.

I only took cash for tips as valuables, but I forgot the bus tip (1 dollar), so it's better to bring both the crew tip and the bus tip.

On the way back, since you return in your swimsuit, it's good to wear something over it.

ホテルの前まで、バスで来てくれると
思っていましたが、敷地が広くて

Thanks to Jamie, our savior who understands English, we were able to fully enjoy stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling! Especially, when he asked my 14-year-old daughter if she could swim, and she replied that she wasn't very good at it, he made sure to assign a staff member to help her. She was so happy to see a turtle! On the way back, when she felt seasick, he brought her ginger ale, and after drinking it, she felt completely better, which became a great memory as well!
