Thanks to the Japanese guide, I was able to enjoy a safe and fun time. I had the best half day with music in the background. I wished I could stay at the sandbar forever. The foreign guide was also fun and friendly, which was great. It would be nice to have fresh water showers on the boat. The restrooms at the dock were too dirty. There were also no paper towels or trash cans. I think suggesting to use the restroom there while filling out the consent form would help avoid crowding the restroom on the boat.

We chose a catamaran with a restroom just in case since we had children with us, but we didn't use it even once. The kids had a great time too!

I was relieved to have the reception in Japanese before boarding. Although it was said that English would be used after boarding, there were some people who could speak broken Japanese, so it wasn't a problem at all. The explanations for snorkeling and the staff were very enjoyable, and I had a great time.

However, perhaps due to the wind, I felt very cold after getting out of the water and was shivering. I wished they could at least provide warm drinks for a fee.

The Japanese staff provided assistance from the pre-boarding explanation and even accompanied us on the boat, so I had no issues at all. I signed up for the full set with the banana boat and bumper tube, and everything was well organized. After that, I was able to enjoy enough time for SUP, kayaking, and snorkeling.

Since there was only one changing room after the activities, returning to the boat a little earlier than everyone else allowed for a smooth change. There were many comments about the bus being cold, but the driver frequently checked the temperature inside, so those in swimsuits didn't seem cold at all.

I think I will participate again next time!

Check-in was at 5 PM, and we were given three drink tickets per person and shown to our seats. Although the front row was fully booked at the time of reservation and we had the basic plan, we were seated at a two-person table on the edge of the third row, which had a good view. The waiters came by at just the right times to take drink orders and even offered to take photos, providing a pleasant service experience. At the end, the two leftover drink tickets were exchanged for cute paper packs of mineral water to take home.

During the time from check-in to the show, we observed the making of kapa and poi. The kapa-making demonstration had a bit of a line, but it was organized into small groups, and even if you didn't understand English, it was fun to see the cute hula girls up close. There was no making of na lawaia, but instead, there was a corner where they stamped your arm with a tattoo-like design. The show was scheduled to start at 7 PM, but in reality, singing and hula began around 6 PM and ended by 8:40 PM. It was nice that we could take photos with the performers at the end. Compared to the Hilton show I attended previously, the stage was smaller, but at the Hilton, there were a lot of people, leading to long lines for check-in, a buffet-style meal with more waiting, and shared large tables. We arrived at Kualoa Ranch in just under an hour with a 10:15 pickup. Since our activity started at 14:15, we had about two and a half hours of free time (laughs). It was around lunchtime, so we leisurely had lunch and spent time browsing the gift shop.

Before the activity began, we watched a safety video. We were the only Japanese participants, but they showed us a video in Japanese, which made it easy to understand and feel secure about participating! Our group had two guides during our start time, but all the explanations were in English, so it might be tough for those who don’t understand English at all. However, the buggies themselves were fantastic, and I think it’s an activity that can be enjoyed even without understanding English! You can drive with a Japanese license, so if you have one, you should definitely drive there! If there aren’t any participants with a license, I believe the guides will drive you.

We had to change from horseback riding to buggies due to full reservations, but I’m really glad we did because it was so much fun! I highly recommend it!!!

I had the best experience thanks to the kind staff. The weather was not great, with some rain, but I was able to see many sea turtles, which was amazing. Thank you! "Shaka"

- The boat was clean, and I didn't have to worry about seasickness. We had fun conversations during the ride and got to see sea turtles. The kids were even allowed to touch the steering wheel and take pictures with the captain.

- During free activity time, we could freely use the SUP and floaties. We enjoyed SPAM musubi, snacks, juice, and water at that time (it was a style where we could take from the basket).
