We brought our family of 3 on this excursion. For reference our kids are 11,9 and 6. They had alot of keep the entertained. Paddle boarding, kayak, snorkeling and snacks. As well as a bathroom on board their boat. The boat was nice and clean! It was a fun excursion that took about half of the day with travel time from our resort at the Aulani. Defintely worth our time! The weather was nice and sunny on the day we went so it was nice to relax on their floating raft.

During the transfer, the driver kindly introduced us to recommended restaurants along the way. He was very friendly and left a good impression.

We were able to see sea turtles. We took photos from the boat and also saw them swimming nearby while snorkeling.

It was great to take commemorative photos while doing activities like stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).

**[Negative Aspects]**
The time when you can see sandbars like those shown in guidebooks and on websites is quite limited. Although we were there during a relatively low tide, the sand was completely submerged, and the water level was above an adult's waist.

This is due to weather conditions, so there's not much that can be done, but on the day we participated, there were strong winds, and the current was quite fast. The SUP was being swept away, so it didn't feel like a leisurely activity, and we ended up exhausting ourselves.

Again, this is due to the weather, but because it had rained right before and there were strong winds during the activity, the sea didn't look very clear. (We didn't see many fish while snorkeling.)

Additionally, there were participants who were confused when they were told on-site that you cannot participate in snorkeling if you can't swim. I think it would be good to include this information in the participation guidelines.

【悪かった】
ガイドブックやサイトHPに掲載されている写真ようなサンドバーがみられる時期はかなり限られています。比較的干潮に近い時間帯でしたが砂は全く見えず、水位は大人の腰より上でした。

これは天候によるものなのでどうしようもないですが、自分たちが参加した日は強風で、潮の流れがかなり早かったです。SUPもどんどん流されてしまうので、優雅に遊ぶという感じではなく、体力を消耗しました。

これも天候によるので仕方ないですが、直前まで雨が降っていたことと、アクティビティの時間帯に強風が吹いていたため、海はあまりきれいに見えませんでした。（シュノーケリングはあまり魚を見つけられませんでした。）

また、平泳ぎができないとシュノーケリングには参加できない。ということを現場で伝えられて戸惑っている方がいました。参加時の注意事項に記載してもよいかと思いました。


【人による】
別の方も口コミで書かれていましたが、日本語スタッフの方は終始タメ口でした。
海外で参加するアクティビティにもかかわらず、日本語でコミュニケーションをとることが可能な方がいてくれるのでありがたい。ととらえる方もいると思いますし、応対がやや失礼に感じると思う方もいると思います。これは払った料金とサービスの質を各位がどうとらえるかによるかと思います。

どの程度泳げるのかはスタッフでは判断できないので自己判断というのは分からなくもないですが、目安となる基準や、浅瀬で参加可否を判断してもらうためのステップとかはあってもいいのではないかと思いました。人によっては冷たく突き放されたように感じてしまうかと思いました。

The weather was also great, making it a lifelong memory. However, there was a lack of information, so I ended up going far away without knowing where the restrooms and showers were.

It was a surprisingly chilly morning for Hawaii. Initially, we signed up without needing wetsuits, but the day before, our guide contacted us and advised that it would be quite cold in the morning, so it would be better to wear wetsuits. My husband and I, both over sixty, along with our daughter, participated in the tour. From the pick-up to entering the bay and snorkeling, our guide was with us the entire time. While our daughter is experienced, it was our first time, and I personally had some physical limitations, which made me anxious at first. However, thanks to the guide's help and instruction, I was able to get used to breathing and managed to complete an hour of snorkeling. It was truly a valuable experience. I highly recommend this tour to those who have never tried it before, so don't hesitate to join as a beginner!

This was my third time participating, and depending on the timing and the people going, the condition of the sandbar varied, which made it enjoyable. I was able to see a lot of sea turtles 🐢. During our free time, I had fun doing stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The snacks, spam musubi, and drinks on the boat were plentiful. It was a tour that went by in the blink of an eye. The female staff were all lively and wonderful.

I’ve been on various snorkeling tour options before, but this one was quite disappointing for the price. There was no thorough explanation, just “do as you like.” The cold weather was unavoidable, but everyone felt cold on the boat. In the end, they managed to serve us tea, but it was too late; many were already shivering. I wish they would consider the situation a bit more at those moments.

After that, the communication was in English, and while there were some things I didn't understand, I never felt completely lost or troubled. It was great that we could watch a video explanation on the bus, which minimized any downtime after arriving.

On the day of the trip, it was colder than I expected, so I couldn't snorkel for a long time. However, I was very grateful that they were flexible and accommodated a sudden change in the return bus schedule when I negotiated it on the spot.

I brought my own snorkeling set, but for those who don't have one, rentals are available on-site. The bus was easily recognizable with the company's logo, which was also a nice touch!

We had some free time during our company trip, so we participated as a pair. First, we were greeted by a sea turtle at the port, which was quite refreshing since I had no image of sea turtles being at ports in Japan!

When we set out on the boat to search for dolphins, we all sang a prayer to respectfully enter their natural habitat and threw plumeria flowers into the sea. After the prayer, as we moved the boat forward, we were surprised to see a whale spouting water and showing its fin—it's amazing how easily we could spot such creatures!

While we were searching for dolphins, Ryuichi-san explained the mountain range on the west coast, and the sight of the mountains at sunrise was very impressive. Towards the end of our trip, many dolphins appeared, and we were able to take photos right next to the boat!

Unfortunately, the type of dolphin we encountered couldn't swim alongside us, and the waves were a bit high that day, so we couldn't dive at the snorkeling spot with fish and coral reefs. I really hope to swim with them next time!!! 🐬

いざイルカを探しにボートを出すと、

イルカを探す間、りゅういちさんは西海岸にある山脈の説明をしてくれて、朝焼けの山脈がとても綺麗だったことが印象的です。
イルカは終盤の方に沢山出てきてくれ、
船のすぐ側で写真撮影できました◎
そのイルカの種類が一緒に泳げないイルカだった事と、その日は少し波が高く、魚や珊瑚礁があるシュノーケリングポイントで潜れなかったので、次回こそ一緒に泳ぎたいです！！！🐬

I had the best beach experience in Hawaii! I took the ride from the Ala Moana Hotel. The meeting place was easy to find. Printing the voucher is a must. It took about 30 minutes to reach the destination. We left on the 10:45 AM flight and returned on the 1:45 PM flight. Although the stay was short, I was able to enjoy it thoroughly even without a guide. It was just the right amount of time for me. It was comfortable and quick, much better than spending half a day.

I was told by the older gentleman at the counter that there are no fish on the central beach, various fish on the right side of the reef, and large fish on the left side. He was absolutely right! I didn't want to spend money, so I went without fins or goggles, but I had a fantastic time. The water is shallow, so it worked out fine. Next time I go, I will bring fins and goggles from Japan.

We participated in a tour that included a shuttle service to Hanauma Bay and a snorkeling set, with three people including a 12-year-old child. The pickup time was early in the morning. It was still dark outside, and I was worried about being out so early, but shortly after arriving, dawn broke. We were able to see a wonderful sunrise, which was the perfect start to the day.

Snorkeling was first thing in the morning, and there were plenty of fish. Although there were times during the day when it was cloudy, it didn't matter, and we still had a great time seeing lots of fish.

On this day, there were no other Japanese participants in the tour besides us. However, that wasn't an issue at all.

Additionally, we could borrow life jackets on the spot by asking the tour staff. Please note that these are cash only.

We considered renting a car to get there, but I think it was better to avoid the hassle of reservations and enjoy the convenience.

I would definitely like to participate in this tour again.

I used the first flight on the morning of December 30th for the New Year's holiday. The captain spoke in English, but then a female staff member named Izumi kindly explained everything in Japanese, which made my first snorkeling experience worry-free.

The weather was a bit cold, and it rained partway through, but not only were we able to see many sea turtles, we also got to swim with them.

There were other tours with various options that I considered, but I'm glad I chose Captain Cruise!

年末年始（12月30日）の朝一便を利用しました。
キャプテンは英語を使用されますがその後で女性スタッフのイズミさんが日本語で丁寧に説明してくださり、初めてのシュノーケリングも不安なく体験できました。

天候は少し寒く、雨も途中降ったりしましたが、ウミガメを沢山見ることができただけでなく、一緒に泳ぐことも出来ました。

色んなオプションが付く他社ツアーもあり、悩みましたが、キャプテンクルーズを選んでよかったです！

Wonderful experience swimming with the turtles. But I was struggling with light headedness and nausea. The lifeguard and crew were so caring and sensitive. They encouraged me to stay out in the water as long as I felt confident but then took me back to the boat via the surf board when it was too much. I was given a ginger ale to sip on and the team frequently checked on me. Always encouraging and supportive. I never felt shamed or ridiculed. Thank you

I participated in early December, and unfortunately, the weather was quite chilly and rainy, but I still had a great time. There were beautiful coral reefs nearby, and fish were swimming right in front of me. Just peeking into the water was captivating, and while enjoying other activities, time flew by quickly. During the round trip to the sandbar, there was also a performance by the crew, and the captain and crew's stories were entertaining as well.

参加日は12月初旬あいにく肌寒く、雨も降るイマイチな天候でしたがそれでも存分に楽しめました。
綺麗なサンゴ礁が近くにあり、目の前を魚が回遊しています。海中を覗くだけで夢中になれますし、他のアクティビティも堪能していると、あっという間に時間がなくなります。
サンドバーまでの往復中も、クルーの演奏もあり、また船長やクルーたちのお話も面白かったです。

In the past, Hanauma Bay was crowded and seemed to be getting dirtier year by year. However, with the implementation of entry restrictions and the fact that very few people visited during COVID, I felt that the beautiful Hanauma Bay has returned. After the Honolulu Marathon, the weather was unpredictable with a lot of rain, so when I made my reservation, I kept an eye on the weather forecast and chose a day with a low chance of precipitation. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I encountered a heavy downpour like a tropical rain shower.

After that, the weather was cloudy with occasional rain, and very rarely did the sun peek through, but I was still able to go snorkeling, which turned out to be a memorable experience. I hope to make a comeback on a sunny day next year.

昔は人も多く海も年々汚れてきた印象のハナウマベイでしたが、入場制限を行い、またコロナで人が全然入らなかった事も幸いして、綺麗なハナウマベイが帰ってきたと感じました。ホノルルマラソンが終わった後はお天気が不順で雨も多かったので、予約を取る時に天気予報とにらめっこして、降水確率の低い日を選んだのですが、残念ながら到着した時にスコールの様な豪雨にあいました。
その後は曇り時々雨、ごく稀に薄陽がさすお天気でしたか、シュノーケリングも出来てなかなか無い思い出になりました。
来年、晴れの日にリベンジしたいと思います。
