First time snorkeling for me and my husband, and it was absolutely amazing!! Dan and his wife really made us feel comfortable in the water... I am not a very good swimmer and had an awesome time even in the deep areas of the ocean. Swimming/Snorkeling with the fishes was an amazing experience and would love to do it again!

We gathered at Hilton at 6 AM, and they seemed to have picked us up about 10 minutes earlier. When we went, the order of pickups was Prince → Hilton → Sheraton.

After about an hour's drive, we arrived at Waianae Harbor. We were supposed to board a medium-sized boat and head out, but on that day, we were lucky enough to encounter dolphins in the shallows.

As we spotted dolphins in the distance, we hurried to get ready and jumped into the water. For those who can't swim or aren't very comfortable in the ocean, falling from the boat might be a bit scary. Hang in there!

After floating for a while, a pod of dolphins came by at intervals. The sea was very clear that day, and we could see them much more clearly than the last time we saw them. The dolphins would swim away and then come back or get close to us; it was truly a lucky day.

After saying goodbye to the dolphins and getting back on the boat, it was time for turtle snorkeling! Previously, we had seen two turtles of different sizes swimming together, but this time we only saw one medium-sized turtle. Two participants even touched the turtle, which was surprising...

After enjoying about 15 minutes of that, we split into those who would continue with stand-up paddleboarding & boating and those who would continue snorkeling. Since stand-up paddleboarding and boating can also be done at the hotel, we chose to continue snorkeling.

I was a bit disappointed thinking we might only see one turtle today, but after believing and waiting, we ended up seeing about 4 to 5 turtles in turn. I think we snorkeled for about 30 minutes. It was great to have so much time for snorkeling.

When everyone got back on the boat, lunch was served: cheeseburgers, juice, and snacks. The cheeseburgers were regular-sized and tasted average.

After that, we all danced the hula, which turned out to be surprisingly fun. I have participated in dolphin encounters before, but since this included snorkeling and hula dancing, I think I would choose the university program again next time.

ヒルトンは朝6時に集合、10分前には迎えに来ていたみたいです。私達のときはプリンス→ヒルトン→シェラトンの順で送迎でした。
そこから一時間ほど車に乗り、ワイアナエハーバーへ。中型のボートに乗り、沖へ…となる予定でしたが、この日は運良く浅瀬の方でイルカに出会えました。
少し先に見えるイルカを目で追いながら急いで準備をし、海に飛び込みます。
泳げない人や海にあまり慣れていない人は船から海に落ちるのが少し怖いかもしれません。頑張って！
しばらく浮いて待っていると、イルカの群れが数個時間差でやってきました。海がとても透明な日で、以前見たときより数倍はっきり見えました。
イルカが向こうに行ったと思ったらまた帰ってきたり、近くに来てくれたり、本当に運が良かった日でした。
イルカたちを見送って船に上がり、今度はウミガメシュノーケル！以前は大小２匹が一緒に泳いでいたのですが、この日は中くらい１匹を皆で見ました。ツアー参加者で二人、ウミガメに触っている人がいました。びっくり…。。
皆で15分楽しんだあとはスタンダップパドル&ボート組とシュノーケル続行組に別れました。
スタンダップパドルとボートはホテルでもできるので、シュノーケル続行組にしました。
今日はウミガメ１匹かな、と少し残念でしたが、ひたすら信じて待っていたところ、計4～5匹ほど順番に現れてくれました。計30分くらいはシュノーケルしたと思います。時間的にたくさんシュノーケルできて良かったです。
皆が船に上がるとランチのチーズバーガー・ジュース・スナックが出ました。チーズバーガーは普通サイズで味も普通。
そのあとはフラダンスを皆で踊り、これが意外と楽しかったです。
イルカ中学にも参加したことがありますが、シュノーケルの長さとフラダンスがあるので次参加する場合はまた大学の方を選ぶと思います。

Overall, I had an enriching American-style tour experience. As soon as we arrived at the sandbar, we went snorkeling and saw the fish underwater. My husband, who experienced snorkeling for the first time, was thrilled by the colorful fish! After getting down to the sandbar, we played volleyball with a net that was set up. Chasing the ball, passing it, and applauding nice plays created an unexpected sense of camaraderie. The BBQ lunch we had when we got hungry was incredibly delicious. The staff were kind and cheerful, and there were staff members who understood Japanese, which made for a fun and truly memorable experience.

とにかく、アメリカ的で充実したツアーが体験できました。サンドバーに着くなり、シュノーケリングで海中の魚を見ました。色とりどりの魚の姿に、初めてシュノーケリングを体験した夫は大喜び！　サンドバーに降りた後、張られたネットでバレーボールをしました。ボールを追いかけてパスしたり、ナイスプレーに拍手したり、思わぬ連帯感を感じました。お腹がすいて食べたＢＢＱランチはすご～い美味しかった～。スタッフが親切で明るくて、日本語が分かるスタッフもいたので、楽しくてすごくいい思い出ができました。

Shuttle service to Hanauma Bay with inclusion of snorkelling hire + flippers. Some additional hire costs $3 for add on to snorkel deeper without water coming into snorkel. Reliable timing of pick up and drop off. Friendly staff. Booked last minute and was very happy with service.

I was worried about waking up early for our second day in Hawaii, but we made it onto the bus without any issues! Since it can be quite physically demanding, I recommend having at least a little breakfast before heading out.

We started snorkeling when we spotted a group of dolphins, but they disappeared quickly, so we returned to the boat and moved to another location. We repeated snorkeling a total of three times where the dolphins were. The kids, who had only interacted with dolphins at places like Sea Life Park, were extremely excited to see them swimming so close by.

After the dolphins, we snorkeled at a spot with honu (sea turtles) and fish. The honu came so close that the kids were thrilled once again. We brought a waterproof camera, so even now, the kids look at the photos of the dolphins and honu and reminisce about the experience. They still cherish the stuffed animals we received.

Swimming against the waves can be tiring, but it was a pleasant fatigue. Watching the sunrise from the ocean and having such wonderful experiences made it all worthwhile.

If I have the chance again, I would love to enroll in college.

ハワイ２日目の朝早くの出発で起きられるのか心配でしたが、無事にバスに乗車！
かなり体力を消耗するので、少しでも朝食を取っていった方が良いと思います。

イルカのグループがいたのでシュノーケリング開始しましたが、あっという間にいなくなりボートへ戻り移動。またイルカがいるところでシュノーケリングを合計３回繰り返しました。すぐ近くをイルカたちが泳ぎ、シーライフパーク等でイルカに触れ合った位しかしたことがない子供たちは大興奮でした。
イルカの後はホヌや魚がいるスポットでシュノーケリング。こちらでもホヌが触れるくらい近くまで来て、またも子供たちは大興奮でした。防水カメラを持参していったので、今でも子供たちはイルカやホヌの写真を見ては思い出に浸っています。いただいたぬいぐるみは今でも大切にしています。

波に逆らって泳いだりして疲れますがそれは心地よい疲労感で、海から朝日を見たり素敵な体験をしたので参加してよかったと思います。

また機会があったら大学へ入学したいと思います。

The weather was cloudy with occasional sunshine, but it was very beautiful. The water was up to my waist, and I was truly moved by the scenery that can only be seen in Hawaii! The staff were all friendly, and the cheeseburger was delicious. It was a bit cold on the way back, but I had a great time. Thank you very much.

The sandbar was not as white as I had imagined, and the water was up to my waist. It seems that this depends on the time of year, and to experience the condition I envisioned, I would need to plan my visit accordingly.

Still, the feeling of walking in the middle of the ocean was quite strange.

After getting wet, it gets pretty cold on the boat, so a change of clothes or something to cover up is essential! (I felt quite cold myself.)

The hamburger I had on the boat was delicious!

サンドバーは、想像していたよりは白くなく、腰上ぐらいまで海水がありました。
これは行く時期に依るらしく、想像する状態を体験するためには、時間時期を決め打ちでいかないと行けないとのことでした。

それでも、海のど真ん中を歩いている感覚は、なんだか不思議でした。

濡れた後、ボートに乗ると結構寒いので、着替えか羽織るものは必須です！(自分は結構寒い思いをしました)

ボートの上で食べるハンバーガーは美味しかったです！

I just want to say that it didn't turn out like the attached photo. I didn't bring a swimsuit this time because I didn't want to wear one. I thought it would be fine to just wear shorts since I was only going to step onto the sand.

But then I heard that the sandy area only appears during new moons or full moons. When I actually went, the beautiful white sand was under the gorgeous blue sea. The water was about knee-deep. However, to get down, I had to wade into the water up to my chest and then walk to that spot, which ended up meaning I had to view it from the boat... Not bringing a swimsuit was a mistake, but I never expected that the time when it looks like the promotional images would only be during a very limited period.

Well, aside from that, the weather was nice, and I got to see a lot of sea turtles, so it was good overall. Yeah, I guess I don't need to make a choice next time.

添付の写真のようにはいかないということだけ言っておきます。
水着になるのが嫌だったので、今回は水着は持って行かなかったわけです。
サンドの上に降り立つだけなので、ハーフパンツでいいかなと。

そしたら、砂地が出るのは新月とか満月とか、そういう時だけっていうじゃないですか。
実際行ってみたら、きれいな白い砂地はキレイなブルーな海の下。
膝の高さくらいまで海があったかな。
ただ、降りる際には一度海に胸くらいまで入って、その場所まで歩いて行かないといけなくて、
結果船から眺めるハメに・・・。
水着を持ってこなかったのも失敗だったんですが、まさかプロモーション画像のような時期は、
ほんの一部の時期だけなんて。

まぁそれを除けば、天気もよかったし、ウミガメもたくさん見れたし、良かったかな。
うん、もう次はチョイスしなくてヨシ。

I signed up because it wasn't too early in the morning.
I was disappointed that I could only see the sea turtles for a moment.
Playing beach volleyball at the sandbar was fun.
The hamburger was delicious.

Since it was my first time snorkeling, I would have appreciated a more detailed explanation.
I wanted to know that it's easier to swim using fins rather than treading water in deeper areas, and that you should get back on the boat facing backward.

The water was about thigh-deep, but I was satisfied to have gone to the sandbar.

朝が早すぎないので申込しました。
海ガメが一瞬しか見れなかったのが残念でした。
サンドバーでのビーチバレーが楽しかったです。
ハンバーガーも美味しかったです。

シュノーケルをしたのが初めてだったので、説明は丁寧にしてもらいたかったです。
深い所では立泳ぎより足ヒレを使って泳いでた方が楽とか船に上がる時は後ろ向きからとか説明して欲しかったです。

太股くらいまで水がありましたが、サンドバーに行けて満足でした。

The explanation was very clear, and I was able to participate enjoyably. It's essential to have wet gear when the weather isn't good, so I was glad that it was provided. I was also moved by the sea turtles, pufferfish, and rays.

とてもわかりやすい説明で楽しく参加できました。天気が良くないときはウェット必須ですね、準備されていたのでよかったです。ウミガメやフグ、エイなど感動もありました。

The pickup was on time, the bus driving was problem-free, and the guide was very entertaining and likable. However, the weather was not great; it was overcast, and the sea water was cold, which was completely different from the blue sky I had imagined, so I was very disappointed. I wonder if it depends on the season? I think it would be helpful if you could include that information as well.

ピックアップは時間通り、バスの運転も問題なく、ガイドさんはとても面白く、好感が持て良かった。
ただ、お天気が今一で、ドンヨリしていて、海の水は冷たくて、想像していた青い空晴れ渡る空のもととは全然違うものだったので、とても残念だった。時期にもよるのかなぁ？と思いますが、その辺も書いて頂けると参考に出来ると思いました。

Two people in their 60s, two in their 30s, an 18-year-old, a 7-year-old, and a 2-year-old participated. The crew and the hamburgers on board were very delicious, which was great, but they mentioned that the sandbar area is close to the mountains and there aren't many sunny days. It was very cold. When getting off the boat to the sandbar, you have to go into the water up to about your waist. My 18-year-old eldest son and my husband had fun participating in the sandbar activities, but they did not join the snorkeling. About half of the participants did not join. Those who did were shivering. If you bring plenty of warm clothing and think about staying warm, you can enjoy it. I thought it would be the same as the sandbars in Okinawa, so I only prepared for heatstroke. It was the complete opposite.

６０代２人３０代２人１８歳７歳２歳で参加。乗務員さんや、船上のハンバーガーはとっても美味しくて良かったですが、サンドバー付近は、山間の近くにあって、なかなか晴れる日がないとの事。とっても寒いです。船からサンドバーに降りるときは、へそ下ぐらいまで海に入らないとだめです。18歳の長男と旦那は楽しく、サンドバーバレーに参加してましたが、シュノーケリングは,不参加。半分ぐらいの方不参加でした。入った人は、がくがく震えてました。着替えなどたくさん持って防寒を考えていくと入れます。私は、沖縄のサンドバーと同じだと思っていたので、熱中症対策ばかりで。真逆でした。

Honestly, I feel a strong sense of disappointment. We moved from the meeting point to the office and watched an explanatory video. Up to that point, everything was fine, but after that, we waited about an hour for the boat to go out to sea. There was no explanation, and we just waited. Finally, when the boat arrived and we thought we were going out to sea, we just boarded another boat that had already gone out. On that boat, there was still no explanation, and we were made to wait for over an hour… and in the end, I got seasick. I ended up experiencing the underwater scooter while not feeling well.

By the way, there were about ten Japanese people on board with us, and almost everyone was struggling with seasickness; they all looked very uncomfortable. I definitely recommend that anyone participating in the future take measures against seasickness!

正直、残念という想いが強いです。
集合場所からオフィスまで移動し説明ビデオを観賞。ここまでは良かったのですが、その後は海にでる船を待つこと約1時間。なんの説明もなく、ただただ待つだけ。やっと船が来て海に出たと思ったら、先に海に出ていた船へ乗船するだけ。その船でもまったく説明がないまま、さらに1時間以上待たされ…あげくのはてに船酔い。体調が優れないまま水中スクーターを体験するという結果になりました。
ちなみに一緒に乗船していた中に日本の方が10名ほどおりましたが、ほぼ全員の方が船酔いとの闘いで、皆さんもとて辛そうでした。
ぜひ今後、参加される方は必ず船酔い対策をし参加されることをおすすめします‼

とにかく、空と海と周囲の景色とのコントラストが綺麗です。

of all my snorkelling experiences in Hawaii over the past 5 years,
I would say this was the best to date. Turtles are surrounding you
And actually come up from underneath you so you have to kick
Away so as not to invade their space. Crew was very informative and friendly.
Chose the 9 am option so as to have lunch buffet after a morning of snorkelling.

OK. Nothing special. It's as advertised. I would recommend it.

Dan's guided tour of the Hanauma reef is excellent. We viewed Fish, turtles, rays, and coral. Regardless of your ability, you will feel safe. This is nature's beauty at it's best and your guide will make sure you see it all.

We went on our honeymoon, and it became a very enjoyable memory. The captain kept the atmosphere lively throughout the shuttle bus ride, and we had a great time playing volleyball in the shallow waters and enjoying handmade hamburgers from the crew.

Snorkeling at the coral reef allowed us to swim closely with sea turtles and interact with colorful fish.

However, the weather was bad that day, and the strong winds made it quite cold, which was disappointing as we couldn't see many sea turtles.

If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to go back!

新婚旅行で行ったのですが、とても楽しい思い出になりました。
送迎バスよりキャプテンが終始盛り上げてくれ、浅瀬でのバレーボールやクルーの方の手作りハンバーガーなど、楽しいひとときを過ごさせていただきました。
珊瑚礁でのシュノーケリングは、ウミガメと間近で泳げたり、色とりどりの魚達と触れ合うことができました。

ただ、当日の天気が悪く風も強かったため、ウミガメがあまり見れず、何よりも寒かったのが残念でした…。

またハワイに行く機会があったら、是非もう一度行きたいです！

I was a bit worried because there were reviews saying the meeting place was hard to find, but it was right there as soon as I went down the east corridor of Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort towards the beach. Once we reached the point in the ocean, we put on life jackets and snorkels and went underwater. We saw many black fish, and occasionally some white and colorful fish, and I was even able to see a sea turtle come up for air. Although there were no fins, I had a great time.

After everyone caught their breath, we went sailing. The weather was nice, the wind felt good, and the view was great. Snacks and drinks were provided. My wife had a bit of a tough time with seasickness, so it might be a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to take some medication beforehand.

集合場所がわかりにくいという口コミがあったので少し不安でしたが、Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resortの東側の通路を海に向かっていってビーチに出たところにすぐありました。沖に出てポイントに着いたらライフジャケットとシュノーケルをつけて海中へ。たくさんの黒い魚と、ときどき白やカラフルな魚が見え、また一度ウミガメが息継ぎに上がってきたのを見ることができました。フィンはありませんでしたが、十分楽しめました。
みんなが一息ついたらセーリング。天気もよく風も気持ちよく、眺めもよかったです。スナックやドリンクが出ました。妻は船酔いで少し大変でしたので、酔いやすい人は酔い止めを飲むなどの対策をした方がよいかもしれません。

It's a very enjoyable plan if you're with someone. However, I've heard that the sand mountain only appears 2-3 days a year. But the freshly grilled hamburgers were delicious, and it became a great memory.

連れと一緒ならとても楽しいプランです。
ただ、ほんとに砂山が出現は年に２－３日とのこと。
でもハンバーガー焼きたてでおいしいし良い思い出になりました。

I was really looking forward to this tour because I had heard from a friend who participated that it was great.

On the bus ride from the meeting point to the West Coast, the staff energetically explained the climate of Hawaii and more. They also taught us the differences between mammals and fish in a fun quiz format, and when we encountered dolphins, they explained how to approach them without startling them, which heightened my anticipation even more.

Then, we set sail. When we spotted dolphins, we went closer by boat and swam near them under the guidance of the staff.

There were about 50 dolphins swimming together. We swam just below the surface, so we could see the dolphins swimming above us. I was moved by this first-time experience! And they were wild dolphins. It became an unforgettable moment.

On the way back, we enjoyed cheeseburgers and warm tea on the boat. Eating them while feeling the wind after swimming made them taste even better than usual.

In the end, all the crew members danced hula on the boat to wrap up the tour. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

友人がこのツアーに参加し、とてもよかったときいていたので、とても楽しみにしていました。

集合場所から西海岸までの行きのバスの中、元気いっぱいにスタッフさんがハワイについての気候等の説明もしてくれました。
その他、哺乳類と魚類の違いをクイズ形式でわかりやすく教えてもらったり、イルカに遭遇した時にイルカが驚かないポイントの説明を受け、　一層期待が湧きました。

そして、出港。イルカを見つけると船で近くまで行き、スタッフさんの誘導でイルカの近くまで泳ぎました。

イルカが５０匹ほど群れをつくっていました。イルカの群れよりも海面に近いところを私たちは泳いでいたので、イルカの群れが泳いでいるのを上から見ました。
この初めての体験に感動しました！
しかも野生のイルカです。一生忘れない感動になりました。

帰りの船の中でチーズバーガー、温かいお茶を頂きました。
泳いだ後に船の上で風にあたりながら頂いたので、いつもより格別に美味しかったです。

最後はクルー全員で船の上でフラを踊って終わりました。
とてもいい思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

everything was good except bad weather (windy rain).

I was able to see dolphins up close. I had my photo taken, but there were people who had many photos for the same price and others who did not, so it would be nice if that could be improved. I thought the staff were cheerful and kind, which made it enjoyable.

イルカを近くで見ることができました。
写真を撮って頂きましたが、同じ金額で沢山写ってる人と、そうでない人といるし、他の人の写真ばかりのUSBを買っても、ちょっと困りますのでその辺は改善していただきたいと思います。
スタッフの皆さんも陽気で親切で楽しめたと思います。

I went in April, and it was cold. It feels even colder with the wind, so wearing a wetsuit makes it more enjoyable. Be careful with rash guards, as they can make you feel even colder when the wind blows. The water is clear, and there are fish and turtles, so I think girls and children would like it. If you have a waterproof camera, you can take pictures. Non-waterproof cameras are not allowed because they could get damaged.

4月に行きましたが寒いです。風があると尚更寒いのでウェット来たほうが楽しめます。ラッシュガードは風が吹くと余計寒いので注意が必要です。水が綺麗で魚や亀がいますので女の子や子供は好きと思います。
カメラは防水なら撮って貰えます。非防水は壊す危険があるとかで撮ってもらえません。

It was my first experience in my life, and I was very impressed. The staff's explanations were also very interesting and easy to understand. I thought the beach would be exposed due to the tide, but on May 5th, it was only up to my knees, which was a bit disappointing.

生まれて初めての体験、感激しました。スタッフの説明も大変面白く、解りやすい感じでした。
潮の引き具合で、砂浜が出ていると思ってましたので、5月5日はひざ下ぐらいまでだったので少し残念でした。

It was a very fulfilling tour that lasted only in the morning. The sandbar was incredibly beautiful and felt like a different world. Since we could return to Waikiki by lunchtime, we were able to make good use of our time. It's okay to get on the bus in wet clothes, but it was still cold. I wish I had changed in the restroom before getting on.

午前中のみで、とても中身の濃いツアーでした。
サンドバーはとてもキレイで別世界。
お昼にはワイキキに帰れるので時間も有効に使えます。
帰りのバスは濡れた服のままでもオッケーですがやはり寒い。乗る前にトイレで着替えたら良かったなと、思いました。

My 5-year-old nephew also participated. (The accompanying fee was a bit high...) We were able to play at the Kaizan Bar as if we had it all to ourselves. After this, we joined other underwater scooter participants by boat, and my nephew stayed on the boat while the three of us went diving. The clarity of the ocean was amazing. Each diver was with us, so it was completely not scary. By shaking a net filled with bread underwater, a huge number of fish gathered around us. A photographer took underwater photos for us (for a fee, and later, the photos will be sent via email. You can choose between videos and photos), so there’s no need to bring an underwater camera. While waiting on the boat, my nephew also got some bread and was allowed to feed the fish. Snacks and water are available freely. However, since you might get hungry, I recommend bringing some light snacks.

5歳の甥っ子も一緒に参加しました。(同行料金にしては高い。。。)
カイサンドバーで、貸切のような形で、遊べました。
この後、ボートで他の水中スクーター参加者と合流し、甥っ子は、ボートでお留守番させ、三人で潜りました。海の透明度すごいかったです。
一人ずつ、ダイバーがついてくれるので全く怖くありません。
水中で、パンの入った網をゆすることで、ものすごい勢いで魚たちが集まってきます。
カメラマンが水中写真を撮ってくれるので(有料で、のちほど、写真がメールで送られてきます。動画と写真選べます。)水中カメラを持っていく必要はありません。
ボートで待っている間、甥っ子もパンをもらい、えさやりをさせてもらいました。
スナック菓子と水は自由に頂けます。
しかし、お腹がすくので、軽食を持っていくことをおすすめします。

Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach are both stunning beaches.
Hotel → Shuttle bus → Shop for beach guidance and snorkeling rental → About a 5-minute walk to the beach.
The staff provides thorough explanations.

Kailua Beach
It's a beach where just lying on the sand feels great.
Coral is only found in some areas.
Since there are waves, boogie boarding is recommended.
I saw some people kite surfing.

Lanikai Beach
It's about a 10-minute walk from Kailua Beach, with a slight uphill.
You access the beach through a residential alley from the road where cars drive.
The two islands are impressive, making it a beach with a fantastic view.

The pizza for lunch is huge.
Fins can be rented for an additional fee.

ホテル→バスで送迎→ショップでビーチの案内・シュノーケルレンタル→ビーチまで５分くらい徒歩
スタッフの方が丁寧に説明してくれます。

カイルアビーチ
砂浜に寝転がっているだけで気持ちがいいビーチです。
珊瑚があるのは一部の場所のみです。
波があるので、ブギーボードがおすすめです。
カイトサーフィンをしている方がいました。

ラニカイビーチ
カイルアビーチから10分くらいで歩いて行けます。少し坂道あります。
車が走る道路から、住宅の路地を抜けてビーチへ。
２つの島が印象的で、眺めて最高のビーチです。

昼食のピザは巨大です。
フィンは別料金で借りられます。

I saw 3 and one came up to the surface beside me! Very cool. Unfortunately there wasn't much else to see, some fish. Stay near the guides in the water as they know where turtles hang out. Crew was outstanding! Catamaran ride was fun!
