On February 25th, I participated with my 6-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, and it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the blue ocean. The sandbar was about knee-deep for adults. We were able to encounter a few sea turtles. As for snorkeling... well, it was a bit disappointing with the overcast sky. However, we did see a few fish. My daughter struggled a bit during her first snorkeling experience. The BBQ hamburger we had on the boat was really delicious. I would love to participate again on a sunny day!!

We boarded a boat from the port and arrived at the sandbar after about 30 minutes! From above, the white area is the sandbar, so we were told that it was shallow enough to stand comfortably, and I finally understood what it was like when I saw it. I thought it looked beautiful from the photos and made a reservation, but I didn't expect it to be out in the ocean. It was my first dolphin and snorkeling tour. Honestly, I was worried about whether I would really see them, even though I had seen pictures before departure. During the bus ride to the boat, the fun staff provided a great briefing, and once on board, the captain and crew made sure there were plenty of enjoyable events unique to Hawaii!

As for the dolphins... we received a notification about a dolphin sighting as soon as we boarded, and the snorkeling began! I was thrilled to be so close to the dolphins.

ヒドイ人は一度も海に入ることなく最初から最後まで横になってました。。。

This was my second time participating. Last time I was pregnant, but this time I brought the child who was in my belly back then. I was a bit anxious about bringing my one-and-a-half-year-old, but they kindly lent us baby wetsuits and blankets on the boat for warmth, and everyone was very friendly, allowing us to enjoy as a family.

I walked to the sandbar holding my child. It was a manageable distance to carry them. Bringing a swim ring was a good idea; when I got tired of holding them, I let them float in it (laughs). We were able to see sea turtles up close, and my child was delighted. I was so happy when our family of three arrived at the sandbar.

Once we got out of the water, it was cold, so having a bath towel and a diaper change was essential. However, the bus back after getting off the boat was warm, making it comfortable enough for a deep sleep... it was so much fun!

I saw a lot of sea turtles. The staff was amazing!! It was the best memory. I've been to Hawaii more than ten times, and I can't believe I didn't participate in this tour until now. I highly recommend it! Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the BBQ lunch, but I was surprised! It was delicious. Since it was a trip with three generations, it became a really wonderful memory.

There were Japanese staff members, so I was able to enjoy the experience without any inconvenience. I was worried about seasickness, but I was fine; however, a few people seemed to be feeling unwell. The staff were very attentive and offered advice like, "It's good to drink around this time on the bus," so for those who are concerned, I think it's better to take something. However, since the boat will sway, I believe seasickness is a personal responsibility. Also, since it was February, it was a bit chilly, and I rented a wetsuit separately, which was a good decision. By the afternoon, it warmed up with the sunlight, so it wasn't an issue. I was surprised to see the dolphins at a closer distance than I expected. I was really happy because I didn't think I would get to see them so up close. Moreover, I got to jump in several times, not just once. At the end, we were able to go snorkeling near the port. It seemed to be quite warm that day, and even though we went a little over time, we were able to see a lot. Above all, all the staff were kind, and their dedication was evident. I definitely want to participate again when I come back to Hawaii. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Waikiki Beach and Hanauma Bay are crowded, so I was looking for other snorkeling tours when I found this West Oahu tour. In my case, it was almost a private tour, which was a great deal and a satisfying experience.

The vehicle (which was a new car at the time, haha) was driven by the guide, so it wasn't a shared bus, allowing for a comfortable ride even over long distances. We stopped at many points, including places I wanted to visit and some I learned about for the first time, and the guide provided detailed information about Hawaii's history, making the journey very enjoyable.

The best part is that there were no people at any of the points we visited! Most tourist tours are filled with other tourists. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to fully enjoy the private natural beauty of Hawaii. The snorkeling was also incredibly mystical and private since there were no people in the water. Beginners will have no problems at all; they provide excellent support.

ワイキキビーチやハナウマ湾は人が多いので、他のシュノーケルができるツアーを探していたところ、こちらの西オアフツアーを見つけました。
私の場合はほぼプライベートツアーで大変お得で満足な経験をさせて頂きました。
車(この時は新車でしたw)はガイドさんの車で乗り合いバスとかではない為、長距離も乗り心地よくとても快適に過ごせました。
行ってみたかった場所や初めて知った場所、かなり多くのポイントに車を停め、ハワイの歴史などとても詳しく教えて頂き道中もとても楽しめました。
何といってもどのポイントも人がいないのが魅力です‼どの観光ツアーも行く先は観光客ばかりですよね。プライベートなハワイの大自然を満喫したい方に是非おすすめしたいです。
シュノーケルも海に人がいないのですごく神秘的でプライベートなシュノーケルを楽しめました。初心者の方も全く問題ありません。しっかりサポートしてくれます。

I highly recommend the sandbar adventure if you're in Oahu. We were picked up close to our hotel. The bus trip was very comfortable and the tour guide was informative and entertaining. The sandbar was amazing! We were able to walk around and they also set up a net for those who are interested in playing volleyball. We had hamburgers for lunch with chips and bbq beans. The snorkeling was also enjoyable. We were able to see and swim with the sea turtles and tropical fish along the protected coral reef. The staff was so laid back and organized. I highly suggest bringing swim shoes, towel and extra change of clothing. There is a bathroom in the pier. We love it so much we are planning to do it again.

We were supposed to meet at 7:30 AM, but the three of us woke up at 7:20 and were late. We finally got in touch with Akima-san after 9 AM, but they had already moved quite a bit along the West Coast. We took a taxi to Makaha Beach and joined the tour. It’s a funny story now, but everyone, please make sure to set your alarms properly.

My 78-year-old mother tried snorkeling for the first time. She gave up partway through, but she looked happy to finally get into the ocean. I made Akima-san use a lot of energy.

The beautiful scenery and Akima-san's smile were wonderful. When there was trash on the beach, people picked it up, and it felt very natural and normal. It made me realize that visitors should also keep this in mind.

Although it was a short tour, I got to hear a lot of interesting stories. As plant lovers, we found it very fascinating and took many photos.

When we arrived at the sandbar, we only played in the sea, so it might be cold. However, they lend you wetsuits for free! I had a lot more fun wearing one. All the staff were really entertaining; they helped us ride the surfboards and kept us engaged with stories. The water level was a bit high, so we couldn't see the beach, but it was still beautiful.

During my visit, the wind was strong, and snorkeling was canceled, but instead, they showed us a lot of turtles. It was so exciting! Even if you can't do one activity, they will definitely make sure you have fun, so I think you can participate with peace of mind.

Our guide, Akima, shared various insights about the origins of Hawaiian language and island myths during our travels, which was enjoyable and something I wouldn't have learned on my own. During snorkeling, we got to see incredibly beautiful waters and even spotted a sea turtle, which was very satisfying. My friend, who can't swim at all, was even taught how to swim, making it a very fulfilling day that exceeded the tour's content. Thank you for the ride back to the hotel. I hope to have the opportunity again.
