Two crew members entertained us a lot and took many photos for $40. They transferred the photos to my iPhone right after we disembarked and gave us an SD card. I experienced this two days after the Honolulu Marathon, but unfortunately, the weather was bad with high waves, and some people got seasick before the boat even left the shore. Since five groups were boarding in order, there was quite a bit of waiting time, and ultimately, many people ended up feeling sick 💦.

I managed to be okay because I skipped breakfast and took motion sickness medication. Watching the first group go up helped me understand what to expect, so it wasn't too scary, and while going up, there was no swaying, which felt nice!

This was our second family trip to Hawaii, and while we were debating what activities to do, we found this one. After checking with the kids, they seemed excited, so we decided to sign up. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our activity, but we had a great time nonetheless. My eldest son, who is not fond of heights, said it was a bit scary, but my daughter and younger son, who is in elementary school, loved it and wanted to do it again.

I thought I would feel more scared when going up, but I ascended smoothly and didn't feel scared at all. It was a great opportunity to see Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean direction, something I had never experienced before.

We were also lucky enough to see whales from the boat. My eldest son was right above them, so he got to see the whales from the sky.

The staff were kind, and we were able to enjoy the experience thoroughly.

The staff is accustomed to dealing with Japanese customers, but the explanations will be in English. However, during the boat ride, there are also explanations in Japanese, so I think it would be reassuring to pay attention to those as well.

Since I had already arranged a rental car from Waikiki to Haleiwa and everything was planned, I couldn't cancel. As a result, I ended up with just the regular kayak for two hours, which was quite boring. In the end, the weather improved on the day, and it didn't rain, plus the waves weren't high, but I still couldn't do the clear kayak and snorkeling.

Additionally, I received a text the day before asking me to look for a white truck, and since the company operated with just one truck, there was no office building at the meeting point. The way it was described during the booking made it seem like there would be a building, which caused quite a bit of confusion. I was told that if I came in the summer, I could do the clear kayak and snorkeling, but I wanted to combine it with the Honolulu Marathon, so I came in the winter. If it says that clear kayaking and snorkeling are available, I really hoped they would do their best to provide those activities.

申し込んだクリアカヤックとシュノーケリングが出来ず、雨が降るかもということで直前にキャンセルするかレギュラーカヤックにするかの選択肢を出され、ワイキキからハレイワへのレンタルカーも用意してすべて計画済の後だったのでキャンセルするわけにもいかず、クリアカヤックとシュノーケリングの料金でレギュラーカヤックだけとなりそれが2時間で退屈なものとなった。結局当日天気は持ち直し雨も降らず波も高くなかったがクリアカヤックとシュノーケリングはしてもらえなかった。また前日にショートメールが来て白いトラックを探してくれということで、トラック1台で運用してる会社だったので、集合場所に事務所的な建物はなく、申込時は建物があるような書き方だったので、かなり混乱すると思います。夏に来ればクリアカヤックとシュノーケリングが出来るのにと言われたが、ホノルルマラソンと合わせたかったので冬に来たが、クリアカヤックとシュノーケリングが出来ると書くのであれば、極力クリアカヤックとシュノーケリングを実施してほしかった。
