I liked that it was easy to find the location since it was near Hilton, and the travel time was minimal. I was worried that traveling by boat might make me feel sick, but it was not a problem at all. The staff spoke only English, but they were very considerate, making it easy for beginners, and they entertained us with some broken Japanese. We started at 9:00 with six participants, and there were three other groups with two participants each, but everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the other activities. Some tours can take up a lot of time just for travel, so I plan to sign up for this tour again next time.

On the day of participation, we received an explanation from our guide, Mieko, that it might be better to avoid going out to sea due to strong winds. As beginners, we decided to go to the river instead. The river had no waves, so we were hardly worried about falling in.

In the river, we saw Hawaiian plants and fruits, and fish swimming around. There were also people living in luxurious homes having a party, and they cheerfully called out to us, asking if we were having fun with a microphone in hand!

My wife got a bit tired in the river, so I decided to challenge myself and go to the sea alone. There were some people being swept away, possibly due to the strong winds, but it seemed okay since the wind was not blowing out to sea. Personally, I found the waves to be more enjoyable. I recommend that those who are less strong try the areas with fewer waves. Mieko was also an interesting person and taught us carefully. I fell in once, but I would like to try again!

I signed up for a tour with a Japanese guide.
We had about two hours of free time at the beginning, and I rented a bike to go to Lanikai Beach!
They carefully taught us how to ride the bike and kayak, so even beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind.
They also lend out snorkeling gear and mats, so you can go hands-free! Both Lanikai Beach and Kailua Beach were incredibly beautiful, and we saw plenty of fish even in the shallow waters!
The guide led us while kayaking, and they took lots of photos for us.
We learned a lot about the island, and it was a very fulfilling experience!
We even saw a sea turtle while kayaking, which was a rare experience!
Honolulu is busy and urban, but Kailua was relaxed and comfortable!
The Japanese staff, as well as the other staff members, were all friendly, and even though we couldn't speak English well, we had a great time!
I forgot my smartphone on the bus on the way back, and when I contacted them, they quickly returned it to me, which was a big help. Thank you very much.

My husband and I did this excursion together. He loves scuba diving, so he enjoyed it, but not as much as he does diving. I, on the other hand, get claustrophobic diving, so I LOVED this because I didn’t have to have anything touching my face/a mouthpiece. While under water, we saw tons of fish and sea turtles. In addition to scuba scootering, we got to snorkeling while we waited our turn for the scooters, so it was like two excursions in one. The staff were all great too!

Capt. Neal was great as well as his crew. The equipment provided was great and the crew encouraged everyone to participate. Kevin even got me to jump off the top of the boat! My husband and I tried several different activities. The trip length was perfect and everyone had a good time. The crew was multi-lingual speaking Korean, Japanese and English. The tour company made sure to keep us very informed of details and transportation. I would use this company for other adventures next time.

I had a great time paddleboarding at Kailua Beach. The waves were relatively calm, so even though it was my first time in the ocean, I managed pretty well. However, it was a bit challenging to carry my own equipment from the office to the beach. It was surprisingly heavy. I was satisfied because I could spend my time as I liked!

This is my second year taking on the challenge. Last year, I had a photo with my wife, but this year I planned to attempt the 150 meters alone. However, since solo flights weren't allowed, it turned into a 150-meter trial with three people.

Once we were in the air, it was truly high. I could see the Hilton skyscraper and Diamond Head at the same eye level.

Next year, I definitely want to come with my family and let the kids take on the challenge.

This is our third time participating as a senior couple. The sea can be quite challenging with the wind, so we decided to paddle leisurely in the calm canals where there are no waves or wind. While enjoying the views of golf courses and vacation homes, we were occasionally greeted by dogs, and we made a round trip to the lake (pond) in two hours. It was a fulfilling time.
Note: When paddling, your lower legs can get quite sunburned, so be sure to take thorough sun protection measures!

We paddled to a small island, and it was definitely worth the effort!!! It was so beautiful!! I took a lot of photos and was very satisfied☆ The instructor, Mieko, gave precise explanations!! All the other staff members were also wonderful and made it very enjoyable to play. We were able to bike to the nearby Lanikai Beach, the food was delicious, and we had a great time from start to finish!! Thank you very much♪

Since I applied on my home computer just before departure, I left without confirming the pickup location and time, which made me really anxious about whether I could participate. Just to be safe, after arriving in Hawaii, I called the local contact number and checked my page to confirm the location and other details. When I called the local contact, I couldn't understand much as they spoke in Japanese, but I soon received a call from someone who could speak Japanese, which made me feel relieved and able to participate. There were three groups of foreigners and two groups of Japanese, including my family, totaling 12 people on the boat. My son and I flew together. The view of Diamond Head in the distance and the blue ocean from above was very beautiful. I didn't find it too scary, but my son seemed to be scared and couldn't let go of both hands, so he couldn't take pictures with his smartphone. (Photos are available for purchase at $30 for a CD with the data for those who want them.) The piloting technique of taking off from the back of the boat, dipping into the sea up to the waist, and landing at the back was impressive. The minimum items to bring when participating are a swimsuit, cash or a card, sandals (which you take off when flying), and if you have them, a T-shirt or other top, a towel, and sunglasses.

I challenged myself to 150m! The local guide was lively and kept the participants engaged while leading us. The location is a harbor that is about a 10 to 20-minute walk along the coast from the Waikiki area, on the opposite side of Diamond Head, so you can enjoy the scenery while walking there. It might actually be faster to walk than to take a car.

The tip is $10 per person, and the photo data purchase was around $30, if I remember correctly. It's nearly impossible to take photos by ourselves, so we bought the SD card filled with memories to take home. There are many photo data files, and some of them are quite funny (the guide added a little extra touch to some photos). Definitely worth buying!

It was fun! However, the boat is small until you take off into the sky, so it sways a lot. Even with motion sickness medication, I felt a bit queasy, so be prepared! My wife usually doesn't get seasick, but she ended up feeling sick on the boat.

I retired after about an hour due to lack of stamina, but it felt great to ride the waves with Diamond Head in the background, surrounded by the blue sea and sky. I was a bit worried because it said "English-speaking instructor," but they were fluent in Japanese, so I was able to participate with peace of mind. The paddling was tough, so I want to build up my stamina and try again.

This is my seventh time in Hawaii. Although I had tried to challenge myself several times in the past, the timing never worked out, and this time I finally got to do it!

On the first day after arriving in Hawaii, I took an evening lesson to combat jet lag, and the weather and waves were perfect, allowing me to stand up from the very first try. The two hours flew by, and it was so much fun that I booked another lesson for the day before my return.

However, the second time was on a day with strong winds, which made it a bit challenging. For beginners, it might be better to avoid days with strong winds for easier riding.

The scenery was amazing, and I was able to fully enjoy the beautiful views of Hawaii! Unfortunately, the timing for parasailing was noticeably inconsistent among different people. They do take commemorative photos, but it costs $30 in cash or $35 with a credit card, and you should also prepare a $10 tip per person.

However, at the end, we were told to give a $20 tip per group on the boat, so I used the $30 for the photo cost.
