Although I wasn't expecting much from the meal, the food was served warm, and the lobster was thick and delicious. The table was indeed a bit cramped, but it was manageable. The show was also very enjoyable and great. The countdown fireworks were a spectacular sight. I reserved a front-row seat. The host only spoke in English, so I couldn't understand anything they were saying... but I knew this in advance and could get the vibe, so I accepted that. The problem was the food.

After the drinks were served, the appetizer? It was served in a bento box-like container, and it was bad. Then we were served a plate with a mix of chicken, beef, and pork. Not many people around me finished their meals. We paid nearly 100,000 yen for this meal. What a letdown. The show itself was only good during the last 15 minutes. I was glued to the fire dance, but before that, it was a bit dull.

I booked this hoping my kids, who are visiting Hawaii for the first time, would feel the essence of Hawaii, but I'm not sure if it was worth the hefty price.

A great experience for the whole family. The show had a variety of dances and songs; and the performers were great. Also, being right on the beach with the sunsetting over the water and the lights of the cityscape in the night sky, it made for some beautiful pictures. We would definitely do it again.

Loved experiencing this right in Waikiki! The location at the Royal Hawaiian hotel was really convenient (no long bus rides) and the food was 10 out of 10. It started to rain a bit during the show and within minutes, the servers brought out towels to everyone so we could stay dry and catch the last bit of the show. Service was fantastic. Would recommend the extra to get the Premium seating closer to the stage.

A great location to view the Waikiki fireworks at midnight to ring in the New Year. However, do not attempt if you get sea sick easily, no matter how many Dramamine you take! 3/4 of the guests got sea sick last night. Rough waters = sea sick.
The food and dessert was great. We had a nice size steak, and a nice lobster. Dessert was good too.
The hula show was nice. There was a nice singer and a sax player too.
The lady who played the ukulele was nice, but could have played more. There were times w no music at all.
I recommend this, but not with bad weather. We took a chance because we booked this trip for New Year’s Eve, but will not do it again if rough waters are out n about.

Unfortunately, the weather on the day was not great, so the event was held indoors. However, the spacious indoor setting was not a problem at all. We enjoyed the welcome drinks, additional drinks, and the food thoroughly, and the main show, despite being hosted in English, was moving. The price is a bit on the higher side, but I believe the experience is worth it.

We were seated at a central window table. There was a leak from the ceiling (it was a sunny day).

Right after we started our meal, water droplets began falling onto our food and clothes. Our clothes were ruined, and of course, we couldn't eat. Three groups, including us, totaling eight people, faced this unfortunate situation.

Everyone was quite mature about it; no one got angry or excited. Instead, there were wry smiles of disbelief. But the mood definitely plummeted! It took a long time for them to respond, and as the countdown approached, we were finally moved to a new table and given food near the dimly lit back of the ship, close to the door leading outside the cabin.

We were looked at with puzzled expressions by other guests. We couldn't see the show in front of us, and our appetite had already vanished.

Despite splurging on a good seat, it turned into the worst countdown that I will remember for a lifetime. Of course, the captain did offer an apology...

The venue facing the beach had a perfect atmosphere with the ambiance of the setting beach and the area illuminated by the bonfire. The food was delicious, and it was completely different from the luau I experienced at another hotel, which was very nice.

Thanks to choosing the premium seats and arriving early, I was able to enjoy the show from the front row. If you arrive late, you might end up with seats further back, so I recommend arriving at the designated time.
