A sailing trip for about an hour starting at 3:30 PM. It's not often that you get to view Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean, but participating in this sailing allows you to enjoy the land views from the sea. Since it's still early and the sun hasn't set yet, it's not a sunset cruise, but on a nice day, the breeze is truly pleasant. The catamaran-style boat doesn't rock too much, so it's comfortable. There are separate restrooms for men and women, so even though the sailing is only for an hour, there's no need to worry about that. This tour includes two drink vouchers in addition to the boarding fee. Both alcoholic and soft drinks are available, and there's a bar counter where cocktails can be made. I went out on the deck, enjoyed a draft beer while feeling the refreshing sea breeze and sun, and took in the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head right in front of me. It was a liberating sailing experience, and I plan to repeat it if I have the chance. For those who prefer not to be directly exposed to the wind and sun, there is also an indoor area where you can enjoy the scenery. The boat itself feels very clean and new. We participated as a couple. We followed the recommendation to join in the afternoon of our arrival day. We were exhausted from the flight, so I wanted to rest a bit at the hotel and have lunch before joining, but there wasn't enough time. We ended up checking in, changing clothes, and hurriedly heading to the meeting place. On the way, I regretted not doing it the next day, but once we got on the boat and out to sea, all those thoughts disappeared! The incredibly beautiful blue sea and sky, the refreshing breeze, and the view of Waikiki from the ocean made me forget reality and lifted my spirits. I was hungry, so the beer hit me pretty hard (laughs), but that was fine too. You get two free drinks, but given the time, it feels like you might not be able to drink both, so it's better to drink quickly. The snacks were just a few types of snack foods in bowls... but they were surprisingly tasty, so I ended up eating a bunch at the end! It finishes quickly, but it's enough for a sailing experience. It was a wonderfully luxurious time where I could just relax. In our session, the participants were about half foreigners and half Japanese. The main crew member was a cheerful and kind Japanese-American who explained everything in both English and Japanese, which was reassuring. Next time, I want to join a longer sailing trip where we can also see dolphins.

This was my second time participating, following last year. Perhaps due to the season (last time was in March), there were fewer waves this time. Also, it was no longer an all-you-can-drink option (beer was $3). Because of that, there were fewer people getting drunk and making noise, resulting in a quiet cruise. However, the view of the hotels in Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat was incredibly beautiful.

水平線やワイキキの街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッドを一望でき景色が最高でしたね！
ウミガメも見れました。
とてもいい体験が出来ました。
夕方出発はサンセットが見れるそうで今度は夕方にのってみたいと思います！

This is my fourth time in Hawaii. Each time, I sign up for a sunset cruise, and this May I experienced a 5-star cruise, so I wanted to experience the daytime ocean as well and signed up this time. However, once we got out to sea, the waves were high, and the boat swayed significantly back and forth, making it very difficult to stand. Many people got splashed and soaked... it was full of thrills. (I'm not sure if this is always the case...)

It was windy, but I brought a windbreaker, so I was able to enjoy sailing without feeling cold.

The staff inside were very pleasant, bringing drinks and checking in on us, which made for a great experience.

Along the way, we were able to see dolphins and sea turtles up close, and the hour went by in no time.

Although we lived in Hawaii for many years, we didn't decide to really enjoy ourselves until we came back for a visit this year. THis adventure on the Makani was the absolute highlight of this trip. It was fun, and most of all inexpensive. The crew was fun and very people friendly. The entire activity was just a complete joy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Capt. Jon and crew. As a sailor, my enjoyment was enhanced by Capt. Jon's tales of building the vessel and sailing itr from the Caribbean to Hawaii. He is justly proud having built a beautiful and very comfortable boat. As hoped, we were able to watch whales within sight of the beautiful Hawaiian coast and also enjoyed some great sailing. Great trip, great boat and great crew and great value!

There was a staff member who spoke Japanese, so I felt at ease. I spent an hour sitting on the net at the front, feeling the waves. Snacks and drinks were free, but I hardly had any. However, it was a lot of fun. Just be careful about getting sunburned!

It was my first experience on a catamaran, and it was very comfortable. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki from the boat was amazing, and I was able to take postcard-like photos. The ocean was also very beautiful.

After finishing the morning sightseeing and taking a leisurely walk along the beach, I joined this cruise and then enjoyed some shopping. I feel that just adding this one-hour cruise made a huge difference in my satisfaction for the day. I'm glad I participated.

Actually, I had never been on a cruise before, and my first cruise turned out to be in Hawaii. I thought a smaller boat would be better than a big ship, so we discussed it and chose this cruise from the website. The catamaran also felt very Hawaiian.

It was my first experience feeling how nice it is to sail through the sea with the sea breeze. Looking at the land from the sea gave me a strange feeling, like, "Oh, I was just over there, and now I'm looking at it from the water." The crew members were very kind and made it enjoyable for us.

Before I knew it, an hour had passed. Next time, I definitely want to join a sunset cruise plan.

I participated on the same day I arrived in Hawaii. The flight was long, so I was a bit tired, but the refreshing sea breeze and the beautiful ocean completely blew away my fatigue.

I was glad to enjoy the Hawaiian sea on the cruise right after arriving in Hawaii. The staff were cheerful and really helped to create a fun atmosphere.

The cleanliness and beauty of the ship (maybe it was new?) also left a good impression.

Overall, everything was great.

ハワイに到着したその日に参加しました。飛行機が長かったので、少々疲れていましたが、潮風が気持ちよく、海がキレイだったので、すっかり疲れも吹っ飛びました。
ハワイに行ってまずクルーズでハワイの海を楽しめてよかったです。
スタッフの方々が明るくて盛り上げてくれたのも、楽しめました。

船が清潔できれいだった（新しいのかな？）のも、好印象でした。
