We booked for 10 people, but there were no other passengers, so it was a private charter. We enjoyed the leisurely flow of time, the bright blue sky, and the emerald sea while sipping cocktails. I saw a feature on Hawaii on TV that introduced this tour, and I really wanted to participate, so I signed up. All the staff are locals, and they only speak English. It might be nice to view Waikiki from the ocean, but it was a bit different from what was shown on TV, which was disappointing. If you're looking to enjoy a sense of activity, other sailing tours might be better.

We used it with our family, including a first grader and older children, in late December.

It was around the time when whale watching starts, and we considered a boat cruise, but thought it might be boring if we didn't see any whales, so we opted for a yacht, which turned out to be a good choice. It didn't sway much, and instead, it was refreshing to feel the thrill of the waves. However, my younger child seemed a bit scared at first from the rocking, so while it wasn't dangerous, it might have been a bit too early for them.

The cruise lasted an hour and a half, going around the other side of Diamond Head. On the way there, we felt excited, and on the way back, we were a bit more calm. Opinions might differ on whether it was worth the price, but I felt like I experienced Hawaii, and I was happy with it. As many have mentioned, I had been interested in beach yachts for a while, and even though the programs are different, it would cost two to three times more in Japan's Shonan.

By the way, it was fully booked with about 40 people, but our family was the only Japanese. I didn't understand much English, but since it was just about feeling the waves and the wind, language didn't really matter.

そんなに揺れないし、むしろ波を感じる疾走感で爽快だったけど、下の子が、最初は波に揺られているのが怖い様子だったので、危険はないけど、ちょっと早かったかな。
ダイアモンドヘッドの向こう側まで回り込む一時間半のクルーズ。行きは気分が高揚、帰りは少し冷静にという感じなので、高い・安いは、ギリギリ意見が別れるかも知れないけど、ハワイ体験した気分になり、僕は良かったです。
みんなが書いている通り、前々からビーチのヨットが気になっていたし、日本の湘南だとプログラムは違えど、２～３倍はかかるし。

なお、約４０人の満員でしたが、日本人は我が家族のみ。英語は余り分からなかったけど、波を感じ風を感じるだけなので、言葉は関係ないですもんね。

As we moved away, the tall hotels of Waikiki became smaller, and as soon as we passed Diamond Head and entered the open sea, the waves got higher, creating an exhilarating thrill as the waves splashed onto the boat. We were the only Japanese family there. There were people from various countries, and some had babies with them. Since we also had a one-year-old, it was reassuring. The weather was just perfect, and the sea breeze felt great. Everyone around us was enjoying Mai Tais and having a good time. We sped quite far out to sea, and the splashes of water were amazing. It was definitely the right choice to wear swimsuits. Our five-year-old son was sitting at the front and was super excited. Luckily, we even encountered a sea turtle, which was a nice surprise. The captain looked a lot like Brad Pitt and was very handsome.

I would love to go on this trip again when I visit Hawaii. I want to recommend it to others as well.

Every time I come to Hawaii recently, I ride on the Mai Tai Catamaran. This was my third sailing.

The first sailing was last September, and we went towards Diamond Head with a pleasant breeze. Perhaps because there were many children on board, they lowered the stairs and provided time for those who wanted to swim.

The second time was in January this year for the sunset sailing. We were lucky to see a whale during the beautiful sunset in Waikiki!

3回目は、今回9月で 風が強くビュンビュン（メインセイルのみの帆走）ヨットのいる場所によっては、全身ビシャビシャ。あっと言う間にダイヤモンドヘッド裏の灯台近くまで ココヘッドが見えました。途中 トビウオが ぴょんぴょん そこからUターンして風も落ちついてきてジブセイルもだして アラモアナ沖へ イルカがジャンプ！シェラトン沖では カメが頭を ひょっこり出して こんにちは！ もう 最高のセーリングでした。

季節 風の状況で色々違うので 毎回満足！次回も 乗りたいです。

I had the best time surrounded by the beautiful blue sea, the wind, and the sunny Hawaiian weather. Honestly, I usually get seasick on cruises, so I was hesitant, but I'm really glad I took the plunge and signed up for this truly Hawaiian tour. While enjoying the view of Diamond Head on the left, we gradually headed out to sea. After the midway point, we picked up speed and battled some larger waves, returning to Waikiki in about an hour and a half.

It was an 11:00 departure, and we were blessed with beautiful weather that day; the stunning ocean left a lasting impression.

A line forms in front of the "Rum Fire" at the Sheraton as the time approaches. You must be barefoot when getting on and off. For items that shouldn't get wet, there is a storage space under the middle seat with a lid. You will be scolded if you lie down on the net. It was fine to dangle your feet, though. Still, it feels nice. I didn't see any dolphins, but there was a sea turtle right after we departed. The view is great, and I think watching the raising and lowering of the sails is also a highlight.

濡れたら困る荷物は、中央座席の下に蓋の閉まる荷物置きがあります。

I arrived in Honolulu and went shopping at Ala Moana before heading out! However, the trolley didn't come at all, and I ended up being late. I thought, "Oh no!!" but since this was my fifth time in Hawaii, I knew where the meeting point was, so I got off the bus and sprinted! They were waiting for me. The breeze felt nice, the ocean was beautiful, and the calm atmosphere made me truly appreciate Hawaii. Everyone, starting with the captain, was fun, and we enjoyed snacks while chatting over juice; the hour flew by. On the day of arrival, I was able to fully enjoy Hawaii at a leisurely pace, which was fantastic.

前日にたまたまシェラトンホテルにいて、停泊を見ていたので集合場所は間違いないと確信していたのですが、少し不安になりました。
英語がしゃべれないのでカウンターでバウチャーを見せ、時間の所を指さしていると時間を書き換えて変更になった事を教えてくれました。

綺麗な海と空とワイキキの街そしてダイヤモンドヘット、
ハワイの良さを一度に満喫出来ました。

The day of participation was quite sunny, and since there were no other Japanese participants, I really felt like I was abroad, which made it so much fun. The juice I drank on the boat was exceptional! I was also able to see turtles swimming in the sea, which became a wonderful memory.♪

I have never been sailing, so Hawaii was a terrific place to start. The team was great on this barefoot cruise, we had storage for our sandals and bags, and we enjoyed fresh-made maitais. It was fun watching the experienced crew set the sails, we got quite good speed and a fabulous breeze, and the views were amazing.

It was a great tour where I could enjoy the view of Honolulu from the sea in a short time. Since we went quite far out, it was a bit rocky, and the splashes of water made it chilly, so it's necessary to wear long sleeves or take measures against the sea breeze. The boarding area was a little hard to find.
