With our Japanese guide Minako, even those who are not confident in their language skills can participate with peace of mind. The crew members were cheerful and lively, and it was clear they were doing their best to ensure we could see the dolphins in the best conditions possible. I would love to join the tour again if the opportunity arises. It was a wonderful experience.

４月２９日　集合は5時半と早かったですが、早起きした甲斐があり、たくさんのイルカを間近で見ることが出来、シュノーケルでも海中を泳ぐイルカを見ることができました。

Loved the tour guides. The water was abnormally choppy on my trip, I wish I had taken Dramamine. The snacks were well suited for the tour. The boat is great and overall really cool. I brought a 4 and 1 year old. We saw at least 4 sea turtles and they showed us star fish. I will go again.

First of all, for those going in March, it can get really cold when the wind blows, so I definitely recommend bringing hotel towels. As someone from a competitive swimming background, I regret only bringing a chamois (laughs).

Also, lunch consists of really basic options like a single slice of pizza or a hot dog, which might not be enough for adults. However, you're only allowed to bring one unopened bottle of water into the park, so there's not much you can do about that. You don't have to rent a cabana since there are free shaded chair areas available, so I think it's fine to skip that option. But if you're not going right when the park opens, it might be safer to rent one. Most of these tours include transportation and usually arrive before the park opens, so you can generally secure a spot anyway, so I guess there's not much to worry about (laughs).

Also, not all attractions are open, so be aware of that. Flip-flops are recommended over water shoes. (However, since you'll be going barefoot on the attractions, if you're worried about walking on hot surfaces, aqua shoes are a good idea.)

Additionally, each attraction has height restrictions, and usually, they don't measure you, but sometimes there are staff members (those in polo shirts, beige shorts, and holding walkie-talkies) at the attractions who will measure your height very strictly, and if you're even a little short, they'll make you get off (laughs). When I went with my first-grade daughter, the first time we rode was with a part-time worker who didn't measure her height at all, but the second time, we were caught by that staff member who said she was a bit too short and made her get off. Even when I explained it was our second time, it didn't help.

There is a small pool for little kids, but even though it says "Not Ice," it's still pretty cold (laughs). There’s also a mini water slide, but you basically have to go down alone, so for kids who can't slide by themselves, it might just be cold for them. The prices are not cheap either, so I probably wouldn't go again. There are coin lockers available for free access, but they cost between $15 and $20, and there are showers, but they only have cold water. You might as well think that there are no hot showers anywhere in Hawaii. Given that, I think the pool might be a bit harsh for small children.

あとは、それぞれのアトラクションには身長制限があって、大抵は測られないで行けるんだけど、たまに本部の人？(ポロシャツ着て、ベージュの短パン履いてトランシーバー持っている人)がアトラクションに居ると、めっちゃしっかり身長測られて少しでも足りないと容赦なく降ろされます(笑)小１娘と乗ったときも、一回目はバイトのお兄ちゃんだったからか何も身長測られずすんなり乗れたのに、２回目はその人に捕まって少し身長が足りないからと降ろされた。2回目だと言うことを伝えても無理でした。
後は、小さい子には小さい子用のプールがあるけど、「Not Ice」って書いてあるけど普通に寒い(笑)また、ミニウォータースライダーがあるけど、基本的には１人で滑らないといけないから、逆に１人で滑れない子はただただ寒いだけかも。値段も決して安くないし、２回目はないかな。コインロッカーはあって出し入れ自由だけど15ドル～20ドルが必要なのと、シャワーはあるけど水のみです。むしろ、ハワイで温水シャワーなんてどこも無いと思った方が良いかも。そうなると、やはり小さい子には酷なプールかなと思います。

We participated as a family. There were no Japanese people, and everything was in English. I stumbled a bit there. They were asking various questions to the customers, like "Has anyone done snorkeling before?" but I couldn't quite understand. In the end, another customer helped me with putting on the wetsuit (in English). Still, there were many Japanese families. When we got off the boat into the sea, there was a boy who panicked because he couldn't touch the bottom (of course, he was wearing a life jacket). The crew was throwing floatation devices from the boat and telling him to use them, but it didn't get through. When I asked in Japanese, "Do you want to use it?" he nodded and seemed to calm down. Then there was seasickness! A few people were really groggy... some were lying down clutching bags, and a group of girls who were so excited at first looked completely exhausted. It was sad to see. 我が子も酔いやすいので、ワイキキ出発時と、船乗船時の2回、酔い止めキャンディを服用させて、難なきを得ました。
酔い止め対策必須ですね！
あとはタオル。海から上がると寒いです！
風も強いので(ボートで走ってる最中は)、濡れた体が体温を奪いました。

最後にタトゥーシールを貼って貰えたのが子供は「ロコっぽい」と大喜び！

During my daughter's high school graduation trip to Hawaii, we arranged for her to experience flying a Cessna. The weather was perfect, with clear skies, making it an ideal day for flying. For the pickup location, we communicated in advance that the main lobby of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort Hotel would be crowded, so they designated the quieter car drop-off area at the Kalia Tower, which had benches. This turned out to be a great choice, as the main lobby was extremely busy, and it was uncertain whether we would meet the pickup person there.

After about a 30-minute drive from the hotel, we arrived at the office adjacent to the airport. After a brief explanation of the basic flying techniques, we met the pilot and the Cessna.

　しばらく飛ぶと、ジュラシック・パークのロケ現場を飛びます。上空から見ると、本当にＴREXがいそうな雰囲気でした。
　パイロットとの会話は英語ですが、笑顔で積極的に話しかけてくれて、緊張をほぐしてくれました。
　６０分の素敵な時間は、あっという間でしたが、感動的な時間でした。娘も大変満足していました。

My husband and I really enjoyed the Sunset Snorkel Cruise! The views were beautiful and the crew were so nice! I was nervous about trying to snorkel but the crew was super helpful and I felt safe (life vest and I was able to use a floatie as well) and we saw lots of colorful fish and sea turtles! The cocktail service was great, tasty and generous. Unfortunately during the return portion of the cruise, I felt a bit seasick (did not really affect my enjoyment of the cruise though) so only ate rice for dinner but my husband enjoyed the food which was plentiful. If you are prone to motion sickness (which I am) that would be my only advice, I forgot my accupressure wristbands which do actually work fairly well. I liked that the group was small and we had the freedom to move around and sit and stand where we wanted and all the guests were pleasant and we felt comfortable socializing and getting to talk to other people. I highly recommend this cruise!

It was the best experience!!! First, we received a warm welcome from the friendly owner, Kaz, who provided us with an explanation about piloting (in Japanese, of course, and very easy to understand◎). After that, the pilot who would fly with us explained today's route and highlights using a model map of Oahu. He spoke in clear English, and if we didn't understand, the staff member nearby was always ready to interpret◎

Communication among passengers in the sky was done through headphones and a microphone. It was exciting to hear the pilot's communication with the control tower through the headphones! Once we entered stable airspace, I got to hold the control stick and actually pilot the plane, and I also experienced turning left and right over the ocean. We signed up for a plan to circle Oahu together, and I felt that landing at a local airport, Kalaeloa Airport, to switch seats was a unique experience that you can't have elsewhere (the departure and return were from Honolulu Airport).

I love the "Jurassic Park" movie series, and this time I was able to see Kualoa Ranch, the filming location, from above, which truly filled my heart with joy.

The team at Lani Lea Sky Tours was incredibly kind (when we returned, there was a snack party prepared, and we could eat as much as we wanted✨, plus we enjoyed some juice together), the view from the sky was amazing, and I never imagined I would get to hold the control stick of a plane in my lifetime, so it was an exhilarating and satisfying experience✨✨

私は映画「ジュラシック・パーク」シリーズが大好きなのですが、今回はそのロケ地となったクアロアランチも上空から見ることができて、本当に胸がいっぱいになりました

It was my first time riding in a Cessna, and while I expected it to be bumpier than a commercial airplane, it was even more turbulent than I imagined. If you're prone to motion sickness, it's best to take some medication beforehand. The flight was scheduled for 10 AM, but we had to wait for a while due to the clouds. Therefore, it's better not to schedule anything right after the flight so you can relax while waiting. Although it was a shared flight, we couldn't enjoy the scenery to the east and west due to the clouds and wind, so we ended up flying back and forth over one side. However, since I prioritized the experience over the scenery, it wasn't a problem for me. I was also moved to see a rainbow from above.

I went with a 9-year-old girl. I was surprised by the number of impressive slides, but none of them were too scary; in fact, they felt quite nice, and the child rode them repeatedly. Since it was the off-season, there was hardly any waiting time, which was great. They were closing one slide next to another and opening the other, so there were some we couldn't ride, but they switched them around over time, so we were able to experience most of the attractions during our day there. We added a free drink option, but it was cold, and there were only carbonated drinks available, so we only consumed the water we brought with us; we didn't really need the free drink. Since we had a light appetite, it was cheaper not to include meals. In February, even wearing a rash guard, it was cold when the wind blew on our wet bodies. It was nice to have some warmth when the sun was out. I thought it was a bit odd to come all the way to Hawaii to play with artificial attractions, but I heard the child would enjoy it, and I ended up having a great time as well.

One ride was not open. The lady that greeted us was awesome and our concierge…gave her a 20 tip …we stayed primarily in the wave pool. Wasn’t really clean but clean enough to get in. Food was okay and the rides were very short.. lots of walking up steps to get to them. You had to carry the tubes up the steps which were very heavy cause I guess we’re weaklings . A residence…young teen carried it up like a champ. Was fun nonetheless but spent so much on that waterpark as much as universals studios almost but no where close to as many rides at all!

We had a great time on our helicopter tour! Our pilot was great. The scenery was beautiful! I had never been on a helicopter before and worried a bit about motion sickness, which I have an issue with sometimes. This was an extremely stable feeling ride! And our flight was a doors off flight. Zero problems with motion sickness here! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The pilot was capable and fun! Thanks for a great trip! I would highly recommend.
P.S. The instructions ahead of time say to bring a lanyard for your phone and your glasses, so I ordered both off of amazon. When you arrive, the staff had phone lanyards available and said that the headphones that you wear will hold your glasses/sunglasses on.

The aircraft I boarded was a 172P, and the pre-flight inspection and taxiing took about 15 minutes, with the actual flight lasting 31 minutes and taxiing after landing taking about 10 minutes.

During the 31-minute flight, there was about 10 minutes of hands-on flying experience. Even when I wasn't holding the controls, the instructor explained various things, which was very educational.

One personal disappointment was that although it was a "60-minute plan," the actual flight time was only about 30 minutes. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting a full 60-minute flight.
