Great sunset tour. Team was warm and friendly. We were able to see many dolphins, offered to take photos and turned around so we could get better pictures of the sunset.

Once we took off and reached a safe altitude, the piloting experience began. The piloting time was quite long, with 40 minutes of the 60-minute flight dedicated to actually flying.

It's the best experience to be able to pilot without a license. It is a bit pricey, but I would love to participate again.

The flight route is determined by the weather on the day, and I flew along the west coast route from Pearl Harbor to Haleiwa, the westernmost point at Kaena Point, and Ko Olina.

The area near Kaena Point was clear and sunny, and it was such a beautiful place that I was more captivated by the scenery than by flying.

I was told that I could take photos freely, but I was having so much fun piloting that I didn't have time for that. However, the instructor took quite a few photos, and the ground staff also took pictures when we departed.

Additionally, as long as it doesn't cover your ears, you can always use an action camera for filming.

値段はしますが、また参加したいです。


フライトルートは当日の天候で決まり、
私はパールハーバーからハレイワ、最西端のカエナポイント、コオリナと周る西海岸ルートでした。

カエナポイント付近は快晴で、操縦よりも景色に目が奪われる素晴らしい場所でした。

写真撮影は自由に撮影OKと言われていましたが、操縦が楽しくてそんな時間はありませんが、
教官の方が結構撮影してくれて、
さらに、出発の際には地上スタッフが撮影してくれてました。

また、耳に被らなければ、アクションカメラ撮影も常時OK。

It's reassuring for beginners that Japanese is spoken. They also researched the weather in detail to ensure a better flight experience. Although the pilot couldn't speak Japanese, I would like to use their services again.

日本語が通じて初心者でも安心。天候についても細かく調べてくれておりより良いフライトを心がけてくれました。パイロットは日本語ができませんでしたがまた利用したいと思いました。

This was such a fun family activity. My 12 year old daughter, my wife and I had a blast and our guides Destiny and Khalil were very professional and fun. Highly recommended! Next time we're trying the atv's too!

Some of the main activities, such as the lazy river, were unexpectedly closed, and I couldn't enjoy my time there. I was told it was because it wasn't the season yet, but I felt unhappy to hear that after paying the same high price as during the peak season. Also, the water was too cold, which made it uncomfortable.

なぜか流れるプールなどの主要アクティビティいくつかが停止されていて、ほぼ楽しめなかった。
まだシーズンではないからとのことだったが、ハイシーズンと同じ高い金額を払ったのに入園後に聞かされて嫌な気持ちでした。
そして水が冷たすぎてキツかったです。

I visited on a weekday in April, and it was quite empty, so I was able to ride the slides without much waiting. However, I'm not sure if it was because it was too empty, but the available slides changed depending on the time, and not all of them were operating at all times.

A Japanese woman from the tour was waiting at the pool entrance and kindly explained about the lockers and other things. She also offered help if anyone was having trouble. The large locker cost around $15 or $16, and you could open and close it as many times as you wanted.

The kids seemed to have a lot of fun, and I would like to go again.

4月の平日に遊びに行きましたが、ガラガラでスライダーはほとんど並ばずに乗れました。
ただ、空きすぎのせいなのか分かりませんが、スライダーは時間帯によって乗れる物が変わり、いつも全てがやっている訳ではありませんでした。

ツアーの日本人女性がプール入り口で待っていてくれてロッカー等の説明をしてくれたり、中でも困っている事があれば声を掛けてくれたりととても親切でした。
ロッカーは大の方で確か15か16ドルでした。何度も開け閉めし放題です。

子供もとても楽しかった様で、また行きたいと思います。

I was wondering how the pool in Hawaii would be, but it was amazing! In Japan, the waiting time is usually longer, but here I was able to slide multiple times with hardly any wait. I opted for the premium deluxe, but since I didn't want to waste time having lunch and didn't drink enough to justify the free drinks, it might not be necessary. It was great to have priority access.

ハワイでプールってどう？と思っていましたが、最高でした！日本だと、並ぶ時間の方が長いですが、ほぼ並ばずに何度も滑れました。プレミアムデラックスにしましたが、ランチをとる時間が惜しいし、フリードリンクほど飲まないので、必要ないかも。優先で入れるのはとても良かったです。

The trip was great, service, experience and activities were all well worth it.
The boat trip, snorkeling, dinner, drinks and a dolphin sighting for one price was amazing.

I took my 1, 4, and 8-year-old children with me. There are various pools, and the kids enjoyed their favorite attractions. When it's sunny, the ground gets hot, so beach sandals are necessary. Don't forget to bring towels as well.

You can use a locker for $20, which allows you to access your belongings multiple times. Since the lockers are small, try to minimize the amount of luggage you bring.

Next, it's important to secure your transportation. I think booking a plan with shuttle service is a good idea.

We only purchased entrance tickets and arranged our own transportation. The taxi from Waikiki cost $120, which was way too expensive, so we decided to take the bus back. However, we couldn't find our way to the intended transition center, so we ended up using a ride-sharing service, which cost $60.

When we tried to take the bus back, various people were curious and cheered us on, saying "Good luck!" It might not be the most practical option.

晴れると地面が暑くなるのでビーチサンダルは必要です。タオルも持参しましょう。

ロッカーは20ドル払えば何回も荷物の出し入れが出来ます。ロッカーは小さいため持参する荷物は最小限にしましょう。

次に大切なことは移動手段を確保しておくことです。送迎付きのプランを予約するのも手かと思います。

我々は入場券のみ購入し、交通手段は自分達で手配しました。
行きはワイキキからタクシーで120ドルでした。あまりにも高すぎたため、帰りはバスで帰ろうとしました。
しかし目的とするトランジションセンターまでどうやっても歩いて辿り着けなかった為、配車サービスで帰りました。60ドルでした。

バスで帰ろうとしたら色々な人から珍しがられ、頑張って！と言われました。あまり現実的な手段ではないかもしれません。

I always make sure to go shopping at Waikele Outlet. My main shopping was for my grandchildren's clothes, but I also bought a wallet. On the way there, I took a slightly smaller car, but on the way back, I used a regular-sized bus. I will use it again next time. I wish the yen's depreciation had improved a bit more.

ワイケレアウトレットでショッピングするのは毎回必ず行っています。孫たちの服がメインのショッピングでしたが、財布も購入しました。往路はやや小型の自動車でしたが、復路は普通の大きさのバスでした。次回も利用します。円安がもう少し改善すればよかったのですけど。

I was picked up by the owner, Kaz, and his wife. They were so friendly that it felt like we had known each other for a long time, and they shared a lot of information about the Cessna experience and Hawaii.

After arriving at the office, I was taught how to operate the Cessna, and then we set off.

The course departed from and returned to Honolulu Airport, flying over Ala Moana, out to the waters off Honolulu, passing Diamond Head, Makapu'u Point, the sandbars of Kailua and Kaneohe, Kualoa Ranch, the North Shore, Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor, and we circled around Oahu in about an hour.

Around the area past Diamond Head, I was allowed to take the controls, and I nervously moved the yoke up and down and side to side, experiencing the strange sensation of flying by my own will. The pilot sitting next to me adjusted the yoke and engine power (similar to a driving school car), so I didn't feel scared at all. Once I got used to it, it was truly enjoyable, and it's hard to put into words, but everything I saw was amazing. My kids, in the back seat, were taking pictures and having a great time, and they even started dozing off around the North Shore due to the comfort. I had given them motion sickness medication, but it turned out to be unnecessary for my kids.

What surprised me the most was being able to see Hawaii's great nature from above. This was my third time in Hawaii, and I had only been to Waikiki, Ala Moana, downtown, and the North Shore, but seeing the eastern coast of Oahu from the air allowed me to truly feel the grandeur of Hawaii's nature, making me love Hawaii even more.

We circled over Pearl Harbor about three times while waiting for our turn to land, and I found myself pondering how Japanese soldiers must have felt 80 years ago while flying over. It was unexpectedly profound.

Despite the expensive optional tour due to the yen's depreciation after 34 years, I believe it was undoubtedly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It seems that Cessna flight experiences are only available in three places worldwide, so if the timing is right, I highly recommend it. I think it will create wonderful memories for my kids as well.

迎えはオーナーのカズさんと奥様にきていただきました。初対面とは思えないくらい気さくで、セスナ体験について、ハワイについていろいろ教えていただきました。

オフィスに到着後、セスナの操縦について教えていただき、いざ出発。

コースはホノルル空港を発着し、アラモアナ上空からホノルル沖へ出て、ダイアモンドヘッド、マカプウ岬、カイルア、カネオヘのサンドバー、クアロアランチ、ノースショア、Doleプランテーション、パールハーバーとオアフを１時間ほどで半周しました。

ダイアモンドヘッドを超えたあたりで、操縦を任せて頂き、恐る恐るハンドルを上下左右に動かし、自らの意思で飛んでいる不思議な感覚を得ました。隣に座っているパイロットの方がハンドル操作とエンジン出力を調整してくれる(自動車教習所の車みたいなイメージ)ため、怖いという印象はありません。
慣れてからは本当に楽しく、言葉に表すことが難しいですが、目に飛び込んでくるもの全てが最高でした。
小6と小3の子も後部座席で撮影をしながら終始楽しんでいて、あまりの心地よさでノースショアあたりからうたた寝を始めましたw
酔い止め薬を飲ませていましたが、うちの子達には不要でした。

また予想外に良かったのは、ハワイの大自然を上空から見られたことです。私はハワイに来たのは3回目で、ワイキキやアラモアナ、ダウンタウン、ノースショアあたりしか行ったことが無かったのですが、オアフの東海岸を上空から見ることで、ハワイの大自然や雄大さを肌で感じることができ、より一層ハワイが好きになりました。
また着陸の順番待ち？のためか、パールハーバー上空を3週ほど旋回したのですが、80年前の日本兵はどんな風に見ていたのだろうともの思いにふけながら、飛ぶこともでき、こちらも予想外に大変感慨深かったです。

34年ぶりの円安で高価なオプショナルツアーになりましたが、間違いなく、生涯記憶に残る体験ができたと思います。セスナの体験操縦は世界でも3箇所？しか出来ないようで、タイミングが合えば是非オススメです。
子供達とも楽しい思い出になるのではと思います。

Although the opening hours are short, you can enjoy the slides without waiting in line as long as you have the stamina to climb the stairs.

There are only a few shaded chairs, so I recommend arriving early.

There are also several types of paid shaded seating, which are quite expensive.

As for the lockers, the instructions are available in Japanese, making them easy to use, but they cost $18 (which is high).

開園時間が短いもののスライダーは並ぶ事なく、階段を昇る体力さえあれば何度でも楽しめる。

日陰げのチェアは数ヶ所しかないので早めに行く事をお勧めします。

かなりお高いが有料の日陰げ席も何種類かあります。

それからロッカーは使用方法が日本語にもなるので簡単だけど、$18(高)

I found a dream activity of piloting a Cessna and signed up for my husband, who loves airplanes. I'm not very good with heights, but I took a seat in the back and challenged myself to film with a rented GoPro.

My impression is... it was simply the best!! You can experience a world beyond the ordinary!

Many of the staff at Lanilea are Japanese, so there’s no anxiety about language barriers, allowing me to ask questions with ease. I made some unreasonable requests, but they kindly listened to me. Thank you to the cheerful owner.

I'm glad I had the courage to sign up! Seeing Hawaii from the sky was exceptionally awesome!☆

セスナの操縦体験という夢のようなアクティビティを見つけ、飛行機好きの夫の為に申し込みました。私は高いところがあまり得意ではありませんが、後部座席に乗車し、レンタルのゴープロを片手に撮影に挑みました。

感想は、、、とにかく最高です！！
非日常の世界を味わえます！

ラニレアのスタッフの方々も日本人の方が多く、言葉が通じないという不安もない為、安心して質問が出来ますし、いろいろ無茶なお願いもするだけタダなのでしてみたところ、ご親切に聞いて下さったように思います。

When I went for the first time, it was not crowded, and I had so much fun playing on the slides that I went again! This time was also very enjoyable, so I will go again! By the way, I always rent a car from Waikiki to go to the pool and stop by the outlet on the way back.

初めて行った時に空いててスライダーで沢山遊び、楽しすぎたのでもう１回行きました！　今回もとても楽しかったので、また行きます！ちなみに、いつもワイキキからレンタカーでプールへ行き、帰りにアウトレットに寄って帰ってきます。

I was very satisfied to see dolphins, sea turtles, and many beautiful fish. The staff were professional and very efficient, making it a fun experience without any dull moments.

The shuttle bus arrived right on time. The boat was equipped with warm showers and toilets, and the lunch sandwiches were much tastier than I expected, plus they served warm drinks at the end.

There is an experienced Japanese interpreter, so even those who cannot speak English can feel at ease. Since the boat can be quite rocky, I recommend taking motion sickness medication and enjoying the view of the mountains. It gets chilly after coming out of the water, so it's a good idea to bring warm clothing (like a jacket and pants). The wetsuits are easy to put on and it gets quite cold, so I think renting one is a good idea!

Thank you so much to Shanti, Stefan, Minako, Tara, Yuya, Laura, Lauren, Tim, and Parker (sorry if I missed anyone… all the staff on board were perfect!) for the wonderful memories.

イルカも、海亀も、綺麗な魚たちもたくさん見れて大満足でした。スタッフの皆さんがプロフェッショナルで非常にテキパキとしていて、飽きる時間もなく楽しく過ごせました。
送迎バスはきちんと時間通りに来ました。船は暖かいシャワーやトイレが完備されており、ランチのサンドイッチも期待していたよりずっと美味しく、最後に暖かい飲み物を出してくれます。
経験豊富な日本語通訳の方がいるので、英語が話せない方でも安心です。
割と揺れるので酔い止め薬を飲み動かない山などを見ながら過ごすこと、海から上がると冷えるので暖かい格好(上着とズボンなど)を持ってくると良いと思います。動かないものウェットスーツは簡単に着れる形ですし結構冷えるのでレンタルした方が良いと思います！

シャンティ、ステファン、みなこさん、タラ、ゆうやさん、ローラ、ローレン、ティム、パーカー(漏れてたらすみません…乗られてたスタッフの方皆さんパーフェクトでした！)、楽しい思い出を本当にありがとうございました。

On April 29th, the meeting time was early at 5:30 AM, but waking up early was worth it as we were able to see many dolphins up close, and we even got to see dolphins swimming underwater while snorkeling. With our Japanese guide Minako, even those who are not confident in their language skills can participate with peace of mind. The crew members were cheerful and lively, and it was clear they were doing their best to ensure we could see the dolphins in the best conditions possible. I would love to join the tour again if the opportunity arises. It was a wonderful experience.

４月２９日　集合は5時半と早かったですが、早起きした甲斐があり、たくさんのイルカを間近で見ることが出来、シュノーケルでも海中を泳ぐイルカを見ることができました。
日本人ガイドのミナコさんがいらっしゃるので、言葉に自信がなくても安心して参加できます。
クルーの方々も明るく賑やかで、できる限り、いいコンディションで我々がイルカをみられるように尽力しておられるのが感じられました。
また機会があればツアーに参加したいと思います。
とてもよい体験ができました。

I was lucky to see sea turtles and dolphins, and even a humpback whale out of season! During snorkeling, several staff members from Safeguard were watching over us. It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience! The slide was also fun!

ウミガメやイルカも見ることができましたが、季節外のザトウクジラも見ることができてラッキーでした！
シュノーケリング中も複数のsafeguardの方々が見守っとくれていました。
とても楽しくて貴重な経験でした！

I'm not a great swimmer, but I was able to enjoy snorkeling without any issues, and I also got to see a sea turtle!

Loved the tour guides. The water was abnormally choppy on my trip, I wish I had taken Dramamine. The snacks were well suited for the tour. The boat is great and overall really cool. I brought a 4 and 1 year old. We saw at least 4 sea turtles and they showed us star fish. I will go again.

While my child was playing alone, a local child came over and played together with them a lot! Although some areas closed due to the strong wind, the slides and kids' area were well-equipped, and there were about three staff members in each area, which made me feel safe.

子どもが1人で遊んでいたら、現地の子が声をかけてくれて、たくさん一緒に遊んでくれました！
風が強くて、途中からクローズしてしまった所もありましたが、滑り台もキッズエリアも充実していて、監視員さんが1エリアに3人くらいいて安心です。

There were seven of us.
When we inquired for seven people, there were no available options, and we had given up. However, it seems adjustments were made afterward, and we received a contact with possible plans suggested.
Additionally, we were informed that they could further optimize our situation right before the day.
The flights and transfers on the day were excellent, and the communication beforehand was top-notch.
Since it is managed by Japanese people who are always on-site, everything runs smoothly down to the smallest details, which I think will provide peace of mind for Japanese tourists.

7名で問い合わせた際は空きがなくあきらめていましたが、その後、調整して頂いたようでご連絡を頂き、可能なプランをご提案頂きました。

The pickup and the pre-flight explanation were all conducted by Japanese staff, which made us feel at ease since we only speak a little English. The pilot spoke only in English, but he spoke slowly, and we were able to have enjoyable conversations during the flight, which was great. It was a windy day, but the scenery was magnificent, and I was deeply moved thinking that I was able to see this view with my own hands.

送迎と、操縦前の説明は、全て日本人スタッフさんだったので、少ししか英語のできない私たちは安心できました。
パイロットさんは英語のみですが、ゆっくり話してくれて、操縦中も楽しく会話できたのでよかったです。
風が強めの日でしたが、景色は素晴らしく、自分の手でこの景色を見ることができていると思うと、感動もひとしおでした。

First of all, for those going in March, it can get really cold when the wind blows, so I highly recommend bringing hotel towels. As someone from a competitive swimming background, I regret only bringing a swim towel (laughs).

Also, lunch options are really limited to a simple slice of pizza or a hot dog, which might not be enough for adults. However, you're only allowed to bring one unopened bottle of water into the park, so it can't be helped. You don't need to rent a cabana since there are free shaded chair areas available, so I think you can skip that. But if you're not going right when the park opens, it might be safer to rent one. Usually, these tours include transportation and arrive at the venue before opening, so you can typically secure a spot, so I guess there's no need to worry (laughs).

Also, not all attractions are open, so be careful about that. Flip-flops are recommended over water shoes. (However, since you ride attractions barefoot, if you're concerned about walking on hot surfaces, aqua shoes are a good option.)

Additionally, each attraction has height restrictions. Most of the time, they don't measure, but occasionally, there might be someone from the main office (wearing a polo shirt, beige shorts, and holding a walkie-talkie) who will measure your height strictly, and if you're even a little short, they won't hesitate to make you get off (laughs). When I went with my first-grade daughter, the first time we got on, we were allowed without any height measurement because it was a part-time worker, but the second time, we got caught by that person and were told she was a bit too short, so we had to get off. Even when I explained it was our second time, it didn't help.

There is a small pool for little kids, but even though it says "Not Ice," it's still pretty cold (laughs). There’s also a mini water slide, but you basically have to slide down alone, so for kids who can't slide by themselves, it might just be cold for them. The prices are definitely not cheap, so I probably won't go again. There are coin lockers available for free access, but they cost between $15 and $20, and while there are showers, they only have cold water. It might be better to think that there are no hot water showers anywhere in Hawaii. Given that, I think the pool might be a bit harsh for small children.

まず、3月に行く方は風が吹くとめちゃ寒いため、必ずホテルのタオルを持っていくことをおすすめします。競泳出身者なので、セームのみ持っていったことに後悔(笑)
また、昼食は本当に簡易的なピザ１ピースかホットドッグのため、大人は物足りないかも。ただ、園内への持ち込みは、未開封の水1本なので仕方ないかな。ガバナは借りなくても無料の日陰付きのチェアエリアに行けるので選択しなくても良いと思います。ただ、オープンと同時に行く人で無いなら借りておいた方が無難。でも、大抵こういったツアーは送迎付きでオープン前には現地についているので、大抵は場所取り出来るのでやっぱり心配ないかな(笑)また、アトラクションは全てやっているわけではないので注意。マリンシューズよりもビーサンの方がおすすめ。(でも、裸足でアトラクションには乗るので、歩く場所が裸足で暑くて心配な方はアクアシューズがおすすめ。)
あとは、それぞれのアトラクションには身長制限があって、大抵は測られないで行けるんだけど、たまに本部の人？(ポロシャツ着て、ベージュの短パン履いてトランシーバー持っている人)がアトラクションに居ると、めっちゃしっかり身長測られて少しでも足りないと容赦なく降ろされます(笑)小１娘と乗ったときも、一回目はバイトのお兄ちゃんだったからか何も身長測られずすんなり乗れたのに、２回目はその人に捕まって少し身長が足りないからと降ろされた。2回目だと言うことを伝えても無理でした。
後は、小さい子には小さい子用のプールがあるけど、「Not Ice」って書いてあるけど普通に寒い(笑)また、ミニウォータースライダーがあるけど、基本的には１人で滑らないといけないから、逆に１人で滑れない子はただただ寒いだけかも。値段も決して安くないし、２回目はないかな。コインロッカーはあって出し入れ自由だけど15ドル～20ドルが必要なのと、シャワーはあるけど水のみです。むしろ、ハワイで温水シャワーなんてどこも無いと思った方が良いかも。そうなると、やはり小さい子には酷なプールかなと思います。

We participated as a family. There were no Japanese people, and everything was in English. I stumbled a bit there. They were asking various questions to the customers, like "Has anyone done snorkeling before?" but I couldn't quite understand. In the end, another customer helped me with putting on the wetsuit (in English). Still, there were many Japanese families. When we got off the boat into the sea, there was a boy who panicked because he couldn't touch the bottom (of course, he was wearing a life jacket). The crew was throwing floatation devices from the boat and telling him to use them, but it didn't get through. When I asked in Japanese, "Do you want to use it?" he nodded and seemed to calm down. I think it's fine if you have no problem with everything being in English, but sometimes there are troubles...

Then there was seasickness! A few people were really groggy... some were lying down clutching bags, and a group of girls who were so excited at first looked completely exhausted. It was sad to see. My child is also prone to motion sickness, so I gave them anti-nausea candy twice, once before leaving Waikiki and once when boarding the boat, which helped. Anti-nausea measures are essential! Also, bring a towel. It gets cold when you come out of the sea! The wind was strong (while the boat was moving), and the wet body lost heat.

Finally, the kids were thrilled to get tattoo stickers, saying it felt "local"!

I saw a comment saying "no cash needed," so I didn't bring any, but I wish I had. It's a shame I couldn't give a tip to Tittha, who took great care of us. Thank you, Tittha!!

そこでちょっとつまずきました。
「スノーケリングやったことある人？」とか、色々お客さんに聞いてるんですが、
イマイチ理解出来ない。
ウェットスーツの着方も、結局他のお客さん(英語で)が手伝ってくれました。
それでも日本人のご家族も多くて。
ボートから海へ降りた時、足がつかないことにパニックになっている男の子がいたんですが(もちろんライフベストは着用していました)
ボートからクルーが浮き具を投げて何度も使ってと言っていたんですが、通じず。
私が日本語で「使う？」と声かけたら頷いて落ち着くことが出来たようです。
全て英語でも問題なければ、良いと思いますが、
時々トラブルが…。

あとは船酔い！
何人か…それはそれはもうグロッキーになって…袋を握りしめて横になっていたり、最初はあんなにはしゃいでたのにという女の子組もグッタリしていたり…。
見てて可哀想でした。
我が子も酔いやすいので、ワイキキ出発時と、船乗船時の2回、酔い止めキャンディを服用させて、難なきを得ました。
酔い止め対策必須ですね！
あとはタオル。海から上がると寒いです！
風も強いので(ボートで走ってる最中は)、濡れた体が体温を奪いました。

最後にタトゥーシールを貼って貰えたのが子供は「ロコっぽい」と大喜び！

どなたかのコメントで「現金はいらない」と書かれてあったので持って行かなかったのですが、
持って行けば良かったです。
私達親子のお世話をよくしてくれたTitthaにチップを渡せなかったのが残念です。

The umbrellas near the changing room are free, and they provide good shade, so I recommend them. There are paid ones further in, but they let in sunlight, and the restrooms are quite a distance away, so the free ones are more than enough!

The attractions are not too scary, and even elementary school kids can enjoy them. The area is not as large as I expected, making it easy to navigate. It was not crowded, so we were able to ride multiple times, and the kids seemed to be having a great time going around in groups.

更衣室付近のパラソルは無料で日差しも入って来なかったしオススメ。奥に有料もあるが日差しも入ってくるしトイレも色々と距離があったし、無料で十分！
アトラクションはどれも怖すぎず、小学生でもいける。
思っていたより広くなく、回りやすい。
空いてるいたので何度も乗ることができ、子どもたちはグループで回っている子が多く楽しそうだった。

During my daughter's high school graduation trip to Hawaii, we arranged for her to experience flying a Cessna. The weather was perfect, with clear skies, making it an ideal day for flying. For the pickup location, we communicated in advance that the main lobby of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort Hotel would be crowded, so they designated the quieter car drop-off area at the Kalia Tower, which had benches. This turned out to be a great choice, as the main lobby was extremely busy, and it was uncertain whether we would meet the pickup person there.

After about a 30-minute drive from the hotel, we arrived at the office adjacent to the airport. After a brief explanation of the basic flying techniques, we met the pilot and the Cessna.

Once we took off in the Cessna, we had a stunning view of the hotels in Waikiki from above. Near Diamond Head, I let my daughter take over the controls. From the Cessna, it was clear that Diamond Head is a caldera.

As we flew further away from the land, the beautiful blue ocean spread out beneath us, and we even spotted some whales. After a while, we flew over the filming location of Jurassic Park. From above, it really felt like a T-Rex could be lurking around.

The conversation with the pilot was in English, but he actively engaged with us with a smile, helping to ease our nerves. The 60 minutes flew by, but it was an emotional experience. My daughter was very satisfied with it.

When we returned to the office, there were plenty of fresh juices and snacks prepared for us. During the ride back to the hotel, we had a Japanese driver and assistant who engaged us in various conversations, making the 30-minute travel time feel much shorter.

　娘の高校の卒業旅行で行ったハワイで、セスナの操縦体験をさせました。
　当日は快晴で、絶好の飛行日和。ピックアップ場所は、事前のやり取りで、宿泊していたヒルトン・ハワイアン・ビレッジ・ビーチリゾート・ホテルのメインロビーは混雑するからと、空いていて、ベンチもあるカリアタワーの車寄せを指定してくれました。これが当たりで、メインロビーは、すごい混雑で、ピックアップ担当者と出会えるか分からないほどでした。
　ホテルから３０分ほどで、空港に隣接する事務所に到着します。簡単な操縦方法などの説明を受けたら、パイロットやセスナとご対面です。
　セスナで、ハワイ上空に飛び立つと、ワイキキのホテル群が一望できます。
　ダイヤモンドヘッドのあたりで、操縦を娘に代わります。セスナから見ると、ダイヤモンドヘッドがカルデラであることが、よく分かります。
　また、陸から離れると、眼下には青く綺麗な海が広がり、クジラも確認できました。
　しばらく飛ぶと、ジュラシック・パークのロケ現場を飛びます。上空から見ると、本当にＴREXがいそうな雰囲気でした。
　パイロットとの会話は英語ですが、笑顔で積極的に話しかけてくれて、緊張をほぐしてくれました。
　６０分の素敵な時間は、あっという間でしたが、感動的な時間でした。娘も大変満足していました。
　事務所に帰ると、新鮮なジュースとお菓子がたくさん用意されていました。
　ホテルへの送迎の車内も、日本人のドライバーとアシスタントが乗車していて、いろいろな話しで盛り上がり、移動時間の３０分を感じさせません。

I was able to see not only dolphins and sea turtles but also whales up close, which was a valuable experience. The crew members were all very friendly, and I truly had a great time.

When the sun was blocked by clouds, it felt quite chilly, so I think it's a good idea to prepare a light jacket. Also, since the boat swayed quite a bit, I recommend being well-prepared with motion sickness remedies to enjoy the experience fully.

イルカやウミガメの他に、クジラも生で見ることが出来て、貴重な経験が出来ました。
クルーの方々も気さくな方ばかりで、本当に楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。

雲で陽が遮られると結構肌寒く感じたので、羽織物を準備しておいたほうがいいと思います。
また船の揺れが結構大きいので酔い止め対策はしっかりと準備したほうが楽しめると思います。
