Just a short distance from the Marriott Hotel in Ko Olina.
We walked along the beautiful coastline and arrived at the marina.
There were about 30 people on board.
We were the only Japanese, but there was a nice couple on their honeymoon.
There were also families with children.
We enjoyed conversations, even with our limited language skills.
Of course, the sunset cruise was amazing.
The sunset was beautiful.
The staff were wonderful and took many photos for us.

I’m looking forward to coming back next year!

I was able to see two types of dolphins and also met a sea turtle, which made me very satisfied. Since I can't speak English, the Japanese staff (Hayato and Ken) were very helpful. I was worried about seasickness, and that day the wind was strong, so I did get seasick, but I am grateful for the very caring support I received. The sandwich we had at the end was also delicious. It was the best tour. I would like to participate again when I come to Hawaii. Thank you very much!!

The explanation from the pilot was unhelpful. I was told to take the controls, so I grabbed the yoke, but I was cautioned not to grip it too tightly to avoid conflict. When I tried to level the plane, I was met with opposing inputs. The experience of piloting was not enjoyable at all; I was just resting my hands on the controls. Ultimately, I was told that if I kept turning left, I would be reprimanded. I wasn't actually steering; I was just resting my hands, which is why it kept turning left. The inability to assess the situation and the poor explanations were frustrating. I was also instructed to enjoy myself more. I am enjoying myself, but please do not dictate people's emotions.

I fully understand that beginners cannot be entrusted with the controls. However, if you are promoting an experience of piloting, this approach is inappropriate.

The information I received from the driver prior to the experience was completely different. There was no explanation on how to read the instruments. There was a brief explanation on the ground, but that was it.

I understand that communicating with air traffic control can be challenging. However, it is part of the job, and failing to satisfy customers is second-rate. What do you mean by "enjoy it more" when you are so brusque?

The conversation with K, who was assigned today, was the most enjoyable part. The pilot only used technical jargon and showed no willingness to provide clear explanations. I have hundreds of hours of experience with Japan's national license, as an examiner, and in drone training.

You must assess what kind of people come for the experience and provide explanations tailored to each individual. Giving the same brusque explanation to everyone is meaningless.

If I had known the level of the participants, I could have skipped basic explanations like pitch, roll, and yaw, and focused on more important details.

There was a lack of communication between the driver and the pilot. I was instructed not to use yaw, but that is a separate issue altogether.

K later supplemented all the difficult terms. He shared many stories from wartime and emphasized the importance of passing knowledge to the next generation. Without K, I would have wanted a full refund for the experience.

In the car on the way back, the woman in the passenger seat didn't say a word; I wondered what she was there for.

体験に来た方がどのような人なのかを確認し、それぞれの人に応じた説明をしなければなりません。ぶっきらぼうな同じ説明を万人にしても意味は無し。

体験に来た方のレベルを聞いておけば、pitch、roll、yawなどの基本的な説明を省きもっと重要な説明が出来たと思います。

ドライバーの方とパイロットのコミュニケーション不足です。yawは使わないなどと指示していましたが、そもそもそれ以前の問題です。

Kさんは難しい単語を後から全て補足してくれました。戦争の時の話、次の世代に受け継がなければならないことをたくさん教えてくださいました。Kさんがいなければ、体験費用を全額返金願いたいところです。

帰りの車の中で助手席に乗った女性、一言も話さず、何のために乗っているのか。

The water park has slides that are different from those in Japan, and both adults and children can enjoy it! The food was also great, featuring American cuisine, which was a nice touch.

I had reserved a cabana in advance, and it was definitely the right decision!

There was quite a bit of free space available, but since I went with children, having a designated area felt safer.

I went with kids aged 6, 4, and 3, and there were areas where even the youngest could have fun, so we were very satisfied! There were few Japanese people, which allowed us to really experience the local atmosphere!

I recommend going on a Saturday when they are open from 10 AM to 8 PM!

ガバナを前もってレンタル予約していましたが、予約していて正解でした！

I was very happy to see many dolphins swimming. I also encountered a small whale, but we couldn't see it, so I want to try again. The sea was very clear and beautiful. The sandwiches for lunch were very delicious.

Thank you very much for the many first-time experiences. Instructor Minako helped Hayato-kun and we went snorkeling. It was amazing to swim with dolphins while wearing the snorkel. We also saw sea turtles, and the surprise appearance of the dolphins on the way back brought us joy multiple times. It became a wonderful memory.

The marina office might be a little hard to find, but if you follow the instructions everything will go as planned. The captain and crew were first rate. Very solicitous of each passenger's needs. Wished we could have stayed out later, as the captain recommended, but one of our party needed to get back for a dinner reservation. The food and drink on board were much more than sufficient for us for dinner. I suggest not making dinner reservations so you can stay out on the ocean longer!

We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Originally, we had booked with another company, but due to a ship malfunction, it was suddenly canceled. We made a last-minute reservation here, and I'm glad we did because there aren't many tours where you can swim with dolphins. From the pick-up to the end of the tour, a Japanese staff member was with us, always being attentive while we swam in the ocean. Once we took off and reached a safe altitude, the piloting experience began. The piloting time was quite long, with 40 minutes of the 60-minute flight dedicated to actually flying.

It's the best experience to be able to pilot without a license. It is a bit pricey, but I would love to participate again.

The flight route is determined by the weather on the day, and I flew along the west coast route from Pearl Harbor to Haleiwa, the westernmost point at Kaena Point, and Ko Olina.

The area near Kaena Point was clear and sunny, and it was such a beautiful place that I was more captivated by the scenery than by flying.

I was told that I could take photos freely, but I was having so much fun piloting that I didn't have time for that. However, the instructor took quite a few photos, and the ground staff also took pictures when we departed.

Additionally, as long as it doesn't cover your ears, you can always use an action camera for filming.

I visited on a weekday in April, and it was quite empty, so I was able to ride the slides without much waiting. However, I'm not sure if it was because it was too empty, but the available slides changed depending on the time, and not all of them were operating at all times.

A Japanese woman from the tour was waiting at the pool entrance and kindly explained about the lockers and other things. She also offered help if anyone was having trouble. The large locker cost around $15 or $16, and you could open and close it as many times as you wanted.

The kids seemed to have a lot of fun, and I would like to go again.

I was wondering how the pool in Hawaii would be, but it was amazing! In Japan, the waiting time is usually longer, but here I was able to slide multiple times with hardly any wait. I opted for the premium deluxe, but since I didn't want to waste time having lunch and didn't drink enough to justify the free drinks, it might not be necessary. It was great to have priority access.

I took my 1, 4, and 8-year-old children with me. There are various pools, and the kids enjoyed their favorite attractions. When it's sunny, the ground gets hot, so beach sandals are necessary. Don't forget to bring towels as well.

You can use a locker for $20, which allows you to access your belongings multiple times. Since the lockers are small, try to minimize the amount of luggage you bring.

Next, it's important to secure your transportation. I think booking a plan with shuttle service is a good idea.

We only purchased entrance tickets and arranged our own transportation. The taxi from Waikiki cost $120, which was way too expensive, so we decided to take the bus back. However, we couldn't find our way to the intended transition center, so we ended up using a ride-sharing service, which cost $60.

When we tried to take the bus back, various people were curious and cheered us on, saying "Good luck!" It might not be the most practical option.

On the way there, I took a slightly smaller car, but on the way back, I used a regular-sized bus. I will use it again next time. I wish the yen's depreciation had improved a bit more.

I was picked up by the owner, Kaz, and his wife. They were so friendly that it felt like we had known each other for a long time, and they shared a lot of information about the Cessna experience and Hawaii.

After arriving at the office, I was taught how to operate the Cessna, and then we set off.

The course departed from and returned to Honolulu Airport, flying over Ala Moana, out to the waters off Honolulu, passing Diamond Head, Makapu'u Point, the sandbars of Kailua and Kaneohe, Kualoa Ranch, the North Shore, Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor, and we circled around Oahu in about an hour.

Around the area past Diamond Head, I was allowed to take the controls, and I nervously moved the yoke up and down and side to side, experiencing the strange sensation of flying by my own will. The pilot sitting next to me adjusted the yoke and engine power (similar to a driving school car), so I didn't feel scared at all. Once I got used to it, it was truly enjoyable, and it's hard to put into words, but everything I saw was amazing. My kids, in the back seat, were taking pictures and having a great time, and they even started dozing off around the North Shore due to the comfort. ダイアモンドヘッドを超えたあたりで、操縦を任せて頂き、恐る恐るハンドルを上下左右に動かし、自らの意思で飛んでいる不思議な感覚を得ました。隣に座っているパイロットの方がハンドル操作とエンジン出力を調整してくれる(自動車教習所の車みたいなイメージ)ため、怖いという印象はありません。
慣れてからは本当に楽しく、言葉に表すことが難しいですが、目に飛び込んでくるもの全てが最高でした。
小6と小3の子も後部座席で撮影をしながら終始楽しんでいて、あまりの心地よさでノースショアあたりからうたた寝を始めましたw
酔い止め薬を飲ませていましたが、うちの子達には不要でした。

また予想外に良かったのは、ハワイの大自然を上空から見られたことです。私はハワイに来たのは3回目で、ワイキキやアラモアナ、ダウンタウン、ノースショアあたりしか行ったことが無かったのですが、オアフの東海岸を上空から見ることで、ハワイの大自然や雄大さを肌で感じることができ、より一層ハワイが好きになりました。

I found a dream activity of piloting a Cessna and signed up for my husband, who loves airplanes. I'm not very good with heights, but I took a seat in the back and challenged myself to film with a rented GoPro.

My impression is... it was simply the best!! You can experience a world beyond the ordinary!

Many of the staff at Lanilea are Japanese, so there’s no anxiety about language barriers, allowing me to ask questions with ease. I made some unreasonable requests, but they kindly listened to me. Thank you to the cheerful owner.

I was very satisfied to see dolphins, sea turtles, and many beautiful fish. The staff were professional and very efficient, making it a fun experience without any dull moments.

The shuttle bus arrived right on time. The boat was equipped with warm showers and toilets, and the lunch sandwiches were much tastier than I expected, plus they served warm drinks at the end.

There is an experienced Japanese interpreter, so even those who cannot speak English can feel at ease. Since the boat can be quite rocky, I recommend taking motion sickness medication and enjoying the view of the mountains. It gets chilly after coming out of the water, so it's a good idea to bring warm clothing (like a jacket and pants). The wetsuits are easy to put on and it gets quite cold, so I think renting one is a good idea!

イルカも、海亀も、綺麗な魚たちもたくさん見れて大満足でした。スタッフの皆さんがプロフェッショナルで非常にテキパキとしていて、飽きる時間もなく楽しく過ごせました。
送迎バスはきちんと時間通りに来ました。船は暖かいシャワーやトイレが完備されており、ランチのサンドイッチも期待していたよりずっと美味しく、最後に暖かい飲み物を出してくれます。
経験豊富な日本語通訳の方がいるので、英語が話せない方でも安心です。
割と揺れるので酔い止め薬を飲み動かない山などを見ながら過ごすこと、海から上がると冷えるので暖かい格好(上着とズボンなど)を持ってくると良いと思います。動かないものウェットスーツは簡単に着れる形ですし結構冷えるのでレンタルした方が良いと思います！

シャンティ、ステファン、みなこさん、タラ、ゆうやさん、ローラ、ローレン、ティム、パーカー(漏れてたらすみません…乗られてたスタッフの方皆さんパーフェクトでした！)、楽しい思い出を本当にありがとうございました。
