My 7-year-old son got hooked on the Tornado and went down six times with breaks in between! Climbing back up after each slide wore us parents out, but we had so much fun since we didn't have to wait long.

My 10-year-old daughter mostly enjoyed the wave pool, and there were attractions for everyone to enjoy, which was great. I wasn't sure how crowded it would be, but we only had a day pass, and the food court wasn't crowded at all, so we didn't have any issues. The guide helped us with how to use the locker machines and pointed out the hidden free chair spots, which was really helpful. I thought we might run out of time, but I think the duration was just right for our energy levels.

The kids said they want to come back when we visit Hawaii again, so I definitely want to return!

The course took us around the eastern half of Oahu and lasted about an hour. My child is 6 years old, and I think we had a great experience with the various slides and children's pools that were available for the admission fee. I believe I went on a Tuesday, and while the regular hours are supposed to be until 5 PM, for some reason that day it ended at 3 PM. We went by rental car, and the highway was also congested on the way back, so I wondered if Tuesdays in Hawaii generally have shorter working hours. Outside food and drinks are completely prohibited, and you have to purchase everything inside, but we had to wait quite a bit in both the ordering and pickup lines. As is often the case, the tables were left dirty with sauce from the previous guests.

About 20 years ago, I had a great time when I visited as a young person, so now that my child is in middle school, I took them along.

About half of the customers were Japanese, and since it was a weekday, there were quite a few people. (There were hardly enough to worry about the operation.) Perhaps because of that, it seemed there were limited staff, and not all attractions were operational. There was a schedule posted, but it wasn't accurate; out of five attractions, two were closed. After going on the attractions that were open a few times, they would eventually close, and the staff there would move to become attendants at the next attraction. Unfortunately, this meant there were some attractions we couldn't experience.

You might think it's too disappointing considering the admission fee is about 10,000 yen per person! However, given the current extreme depreciation of the yen and the cost of living in Hawaii being 2-3 times that of Japan, the local currency value (in terms of perception) would be around 3,000 yen for a Japanese person, so in that sense, the price is understandable.

Since there were four of us, we opted to use Uber instead of including transportation.

だろうからそれなら納得の価格です。

うちは4名で参加したので送迎は付けずにuberを使いました。

There are many attractions that are on a different scale compared to Japan, and the kids were really excited. It wasn't too crowded, and there wasn't much waiting time, so we were able to use our time meaningfully. The tour duration was just right for us adults, but it seemed like the kids wanted to play a bit more, so I wish the tour had been a little longer. I definitely want to participate again next time.

Last year, I signed up for the same tour, but I couldn't find the pickup bus. I was really disappointed, but the team at Veltra handled the follow-up quickly and politely. This year, I decided to give it another try and chose Veltra without hesitation, feeling reassured by their response to last year's mishap. The pickup location had changed from last year, but I was able to meet up with the driver without any issues. Since it was a weekday, the place was relatively quiet, and I was able to enjoy riding the popular slides continuously, having a fantastic day!

I have been staying in Honolulu for three consecutive years. I am spending a week here on a refreshing vacation, enjoying the cooler and more comfortable weather compared to Japan.

It has been my dream to become a pilot, and I try to experience as much flying as possible during my travels abroad. Taking off from Honolulu Airport, we headed towards the east coast via Diamond Head. The beautiful coastline took my breath away. The detailed explanations made the landing come quickly. Thank you to the driver for being so courteous from start to finish.

Finally, I have decided to start keeping a logbook. I definitely want to stop by again the next time I stay in Honolulu. Thank you! ♪

I visited on a Saturday, and it wasn't crowded, so we were able to enjoy the slides smoothly! My two children, both in the third grade, were very satisfied sliding down the slides. The wind was strong, so it occasionally felt cold, but when we were in the sun, it got quite hot, making it difficult to regulate our body temperature, haha.

This is my third time at Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii. Last time, my grandchild was only a year and a half old, so they don't remember it, but this time they are 8 years old and were the first to jump into the pool and have fun! I felt that there were fewer Japanese visitors compared to last time. I could really see how the strong yen is affecting places like this! We talked as a family about how nice it would be to come back again next year while riding the bus home.

Due to strong winds, it was said that the eastern side of the island would be quite bumpy, so after takeoff, we headed north through the center of the island and then circled around to the west. The flight start time was delayed because the fuel truck took a while to arrive, but we were able to fly for a full hour.

During the experience, I was able to hold the control stick from takeoff to landing. Takeoff and landing are difficult, so I had to assist, but I still felt like I was piloting the plane. Once we successfully took off, I was able to fly the plane freely. The instructor guided me on the route, and I maneuvered along the highway and coastline. The sensation of controlling the plane up, down, left, and right was truly moving. The instructor handled the more challenging operations of the yoke and throttle, allowing me to focus on controlling the stick.

The weather was great, and seeing Oahu from the sky was breathtaking with its rich natural beauty. At various points, the instructor introduced sightseeing spots, and I was also able to take photos while the instructor handled the piloting. Both the instructor and the staff took many photos for us. They were friendly and easy to talk to, and they were very kind. This time, the instructor was Japanese, so I was able to experience everything in Japanese, which was very helpful.

風が強く島の東側は大変揺れるとのことだったので、離陸後、島の中央を北上しそこから西周りで島を一周しました。フライトの開始時間は給油車がなかなか来なくて遅れましたが、しっかり1時間飛べました。
体験操縦ですが、離陸から着陸まで操縦桿を握ることが出来ました。
離陸、着陸は難しいので、手を添える形にはなりますが、十分操縦をしている感覚を得られます。無事離陸したら、自由に飛行機を操れるようになります。教官からルートを教えていただき、高速道路や海岸線に沿って飛ぶように操縦しました。上下左右に自分で飛行機を操縦している感覚は感動ものです。初心者には難しいヨークやスロットルの操作は教官がやってくださるので操縦桿の操作に集中出来ます。
天気が良く、空から見るオアフ島は自然豊かで絶景でした。要所要所で、教官が観光名所を紹介してくださり、また操縦を教官に任せて写真を撮ることも出来ます。教官やスタッフさんも写真を沢山撮ってくださいました。教官もスタッフさんも気さくな方で話しやすく大変親切にしてくださいました。今回はスタッフに加え、教官も日本人だったのでオール日本語で体験出来、助かりました。

一生の思い出となる体験が出来ました。
大変満足しています。ありがとうございました

After 50 years, my "dream" came true in Hawaii. Due to the weather, we were initially scheduled for the west course, but thanks to the captain's decisive choice, we flew the east course instead. Peering down at Diamond Head from above was the most amazing experience. The staff were incredibly kind, which made it even better. They provided round-trip transportation from the hotel, and we had such lively conversations that there was no time to feel nervous. I said my goodbyes, looking forward to next year, and it was a pleasant farewell. I've already booked my hotel, so I look forward to coming back.

　子供の頃から飛行機に憧れ、パイロットになりたいと実家の進路指導担当の母に申し出てもダメの一言で片付けられてしまいました。以来ずっと燻っていましたが、Youtubeで小野田さんがハワイでセスナ機を操縦するのを観て、これだ！と膝を叩きました。今回50年の時を経て、ハワイで“夢”が叶いました。天気の関係で西コースの予定でしたが、機長の英断で東コースを飛びました。ダイヤモンドヘッドを上から覗き込むなんて最高の体験です。スタッフの皆さんがまた親切でホントに良かったです。ホテルから往復送迎して頂きましたが、会話が弾んで緊張する暇も有りませんでした。また来年もお世話になりますと挨拶をして心地良いお別れをしました。もうホテルは予約しましたので、またお願いします。

Since my fifth-grade child has exceeded 132 centimeters, we participated as a parent-child duo. In the past, we tried to go by bus, but we couldn't find the bus stop and ended up lost, so this time we applied for a package that includes transportation.

The tour ends at 3 PM, while the park closes at 4 PM, so our stay is only about 4.5 hours, which isn't very long. However, the wait times for the various slides are short, usually around 15 minutes at most, so we can enjoy ourselves. Just be sure to have lunch before it gets crowded, around 11 AM, and avoid long lines to make the most of our time!
