When I arrived to Kewalo Basin Harbor little bit earlier than their check-in time by our self, I couldn't fin their pier. It is just couple ships next from the pirates ship.
It is just small boat. But, Captain and crew's hospitality was really good.
Small ship means can turn easy to chase whale. Unfortunately, we couldn't watch whales much closer. But, Crews tried to do their best.
During activity, when my wife wanted to lay down on storage of life jackets, Captain brought life jacket for her to use it as cushion. Other staff was very kind for our kids. It was fun and much enjoyed.
I am sure that I will try to aboard this activity once again at next time.

However, the bus pick-up did not arrive at the scheduled time, and when I called, they only spoke English. In the end, the bus arrived 45 minutes after the meeting time. I was quite anxious until then, so without that issue, it would have been a five-star experience.

At the start, we could see the sunset, and after the sun went down, we enjoyed the night view of Waikiki, the moon, light snacks, and cocktails. The snacks were limited in quantity, so make sure not to miss out. I participated in mid-October and brought a windbreaker just in case, but since the weather was nice, I was fine without anything over my sleeveless top. The fireworks lasted for about ten minutes, but they could be seen without any obstructions from the sea. This tour was more affordable than a cruise on a large ship, and since it was a small boat, it was nice to enjoy it with a small group. However, one thing to note is that the pickup location was at Hyatt Regency, which is also a departure point for many other optional tours, leading to a big crowd with large buses and other tour participants, making it very time-consuming to find my tour's pickup vehicle.

I went with two female friends. A dedicated trolley picked us up at the pickup location near the hotel, and it took about 10 minutes to reach the port.

At the destination, there were about six groups, and we were the only Japanese people there. We all boarded the boat at once and set off from the port, taking turns to start parasailing. It felt amazing, and we were really excited! I highly recommend it!

The instructions were only in English, but I managed to understand by watching what the others were doing. There isn't a designated place or time to change, so it's better to wear your swimsuit under your clothes when you go to the hotel. You can return wet if you want.

I timed it, and from when my feet left the platform until I landed, it was less than eight minutes. The actual time spent flying was about five minutes. I wish we could have flown a bit longer.

You can actually finish without getting wet at all, but they intentionally drop you into the sea, so you get wet up to your waist. If you want, you can pay $30 for photos, and they give you the memory card. We bought it and were satisfied.

We experienced this in mid-October. October is the rainy season, so there are downpours almost every day.

We had a reservation at 3 PM, but rain clouds came down from the mountains in the afternoon, and there was a downpour about 30 minutes before we were set to fly.

I was worried that we wouldn't be able to enjoy the stunning views because of the rain, but just before we took off, the rain stopped, and we were able to enjoy beautiful scenery.

The sky was more breathtaking than I imagined, and it was very peaceful. I think such a space is hard to come by.

The captain spoke mostly in English, but they were cheerful and made it enjoyable. They also took photos, and you can get an SD card for $30.

Since we are traveling independently without going through a major travel agency, we purchased this ticket because we couldn't use the travel agency's exclusive trolley bus. I was wondering what it would be like at 130 meters above ground, but the bright blue sky and ocean, the towering Diamond Head in the distance, and the cityscape of Honolulu, along with the round horizon, created a view that was even more amazing than I imagined!! サイトでの説明には催行会社名ロゴの入ったトロリーで送迎と書いてあったのでトロリーを目で追っていましたが、来たのはベンツのバン。
しかも５分以上遅れ、タクシー手配しようかと考え始めた頃でした。
トロリーもしくはこういう車と説明があったらよかったと思います、見落とさなかったから良かったけど。

帰りの車も手配が漏れていたのかなかなか来ず、カウンターに帰りの車はいつ来るのか聞くとすぐ来るというので待っていると来たのはタクシー。
費用は自分持みたいなことも言われ、同行した外国人カップルも同じ所まで乗るためカウンターと話をつけてくれて、行きと同じバンを呼んでもらえ無事に帰れましたが自分たちだけだったら、後味の悪いイベントになってたかもしれません。

先にも書きましたがパラセイリング自体はとてもエキサイティングで楽しかったので、もし次があるとすれば日本語の通じる催行会社を探すと思います。
日本語サイトで申し込めて、日本人の参加者も多いと思いますので、日本語ＯＫなスタッフを配置するなどもう少し日本人への気遣いも欲しかったです。

On time and friendly pick up in Waikiki got us to the dock. Filled out the legal paperwork and boarded the boat within 10 minutes. Friendly crew of two; Jamel the skipper and Gene rigger and photographer. You get rigged at your seat then sit down on the back deck to get hooked up to the parasail. They reel you out to about 1,000ft then real you back in. If you don't want to get wet you have to ask, otherwise you get dunked on the way back in. We also recommend you get the photos; Gene does a good job and you get them on an SD card to take with. Our 14 year old girls really enjoyed it as did the mom and dad; we went up two at a time, but they can take three (and maybe four?); total time aloft was about 10-12 minutes. Total time Waikiki to Waikiki was about 3 - 3.5 hours.

The people we boarded the boat with were all foreigners, and my husband and I, who don't understand English, felt a bit anxious. However, the staff, who were also foreigners, spoke to us in Japanese, which made us feel at ease!

We went quite high up, but strangely, I didn't feel scared at all. Personally, I enjoyed the view of Diamond Head and the beautiful scenery from up high!

On the way down, we had a little splash in the sea, but it was fun! I recommend bringing a waterproof camera if you want to capture the views from above. We asked the staff to take photos with a DSLR and purchased an SD card with 70-80 photos for $30. It was worth it for the memories!

I definitely want to do this again next time!

一緒に船に乗った方々が、みんな外国の方々で、英語のわからない私たち夫婦は不安がありましたが、スタッフの方は外国の方でしたが、日本語で話してくださり、安心できました！
けっこう高いところまで上がりましたが、不思議と怖さはなく(個人的に)ダイヤモンドヘッドや素敵な景色を高いところから堪能できました！
降りてくるときは海ポチャのおまけつきでしたが、楽しかったです！
上空からの景色をとりたい方は防水カメラを持っていくことをオススメします。
私たちは、スタッフの方々が一眼レフで撮ってくれるのをお願いし、70～80データ入りSDを購入しました。30＄でしたが、思い出になるので購入して満足です！

また、次回も是非やりたいです！

At first, I was scared because I have a fear of heights, but once I started flying, I felt great and it was amazing to have the best view all to myself! I transformed from someone who was just watching from the beach to someone who was flying. This is something you should definitely try!

The parasailing ride is as exciting as advertised. You need to give yourself plenty of extra time as they tend to run at least an hour behind, but it is worth the wait assuming you have the time. We elected to purchase the photo package for $30.00 - well worth the money. We got great photo's to remember the occasion and something to share with friends when we got back. This is a definite must do while in Waikiki.
