The boat was about the size of a cross between a cruiser and a yacht; however, if you are prone to seasickness, you should take motion sickness medication in advance, as there can be enough rocking to make you feel sick. I had a coupon for one free drink, but when I upgraded to a larger size, I was charged normally. All the staff were locals, so if you don't speak English, it can be difficult to understand these things. The food was light snacks, so that was a bit of a letdown. On the day of the cruise, there was also a rainbow, and the weather was nice, so overall, I was fairly satisfied.

Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I wanted to see the sunset from the ocean, so I booked this tour. It's a yacht rather than a large boat, so it sways more than I expected! I think it's better to be out on the deck and feel the wind rather than stay inside.

As soon as we set sail, drinks were served, and after a while, there was a buffet-style dinner. Although no one spoke Japanese, the staff was very friendly, so I didn't have any issues. We set sail at 5 PM, and by before 6 PM, the drinks and dinner were finished. I thought to myself, "Do I really have to stay in this sway for over an hour?" but on the way back, the swaying stopped due to the direction of the waves, and I was able to enjoy the much-anticipated sunset and relax.

It may depend on the day, but I think those who are not prone to seasickness will enjoy it even if it sways.

せっかくハワイに来たので海からのサンセットが見たくこちらのツアーを予約。

室内にいるよりデッキに出て風に当たる方がいいと思います。

We scheduled our evening on the Prince Kuhio Sunset Cruise for our 26th Wedding Anniversary. It wasn't a large boat but I will tell you the Captain and the crew had big hearts and were full of BIG surprises.

We had a sumptuous dinner that was better than any meal I had had on the island. The chef should be commended. The food was served quickly and it was hot when you got it. The crew swiftly took your beverage orders and made sure you were happy. Their customer service was exemplary!

Then we were entertained to a hula show and a fire dance. The evening was capped off by a spectacular fireworks display from the shore.

This crew worked their tails off: they drove the shuttle buses, they served food and beverages, and they put on a show.

It was a magical night that I will never forget as long as I live! Thank you Prince Kuhio!

I made a reservation for pickup at the Ala Moana Hotel, but when the pickup time came, no one showed up. After 30 minutes, I called the tour company but couldn't get through, and 45 minutes later, I had to take a taxi to the location and barely made it onto the ship just before departure.

I recommend caution for those requesting a pickup. It was the worst experience. I would like a refund for the taxi fare.

Later, I received a contact from VELTRA, and they coordinated with the tour company to refund the taxi fare. Since I received the refund, I will revise my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

It was a lively session with 10 participants in 5 groups (3 of which were Japanese), likely due to it being the weekend. There were 3 staff members, 2 of whom were handsome, which was a nice bonus (laughs), and everyone had a great vibe, making it an enjoyable experience. I chose the lowest height option beforehand, but all 5 groups seemed to jump at similar heights and for about the same duration, so I thought the height selection might not matter much. At the end, they asked for a tip, but I felt it was justified given the level of entertainment provided. It seemed that having photos taken by the staff would cost $30, but if you ask them before jumping when you have companions, they were more than happy to take pictures for you, which I thought was sufficient.

I was already excited before it started, but as we boarded the boat and headed out to sea, the beautiful ocean and the feeling of speed made it feel like a light attraction, which really boosted my spirits! The Hawaiian guide spoke Japanese and was funny, so even though there were no other Japanese participants, it was no problem at all; in fact, we became quite friendly! When we finally went up into the air, I was captivated by the view of Waikiki and the beauty of nature from above. Even though it was the highest course, I wasn't scared at all! It was so much fun that I definitely want to do it again!

テンション高めな音楽と、ぐんぐん上がるスピードに期待が高まりました！
海上で飛び跳ねるような瞬間はとてもスリリングで、もうその時点でかなり楽しい。笑
男性がひとり船酔いをしてしまったようでつらそうでした。
テンション高めな感じでぐいぐいボートは進むので、酔いやすい人は酔い止めをおすすめします。
（ノリ的にも30代くらいをターゲットにしてる印象でした）

英語オンリーですが、ジェスチャーと他の参加者の見よう見まねで
なんとなくジャケットを着たりカバンを椅子の下にしまったりと、コミュニケーションには問題なし。
ペアずつ飛んでいきますが、各ペアが飛ぶ瞬間はみんな手を振ってくれたり、帰ってきたら拍手で迎えてくれたりと、とても和やかでした！

「水面にボチャンしていい？」的なことを聞かれるので、ＯＫ！と答えれば、最後には水面に２・３回落としてくれます。

最後は気さくに写真を撮ってくれて、陽気なお兄ちゃんたちに遊んでもらったかんじで楽しかったです！

This was my second time parasailing, and I was able to enjoy it more because the flying time was longer than with the previous company. Most importantly, my family, who were flying for the first time, seemed very satisfied, which was great. The crew was also fun!

We took the cruise for my daughter's birthday and she said it was her best birthday ever. The music set the mood for a really fun night. The drinks were great and definitely not watered down! The food was really good and plenty of it! It was the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen. The staff was super friendly and fun. The fireworks at the end of the night was a perfect way to end an amazing evening. I wouldn't think twice about booking this again on our next visit to Hawaii, it was the highlight of our trip! During my 7-day stay in Hawaii, I arranged various optional tours, but the sunset dinner cruise was the most memorable. The boat is a slightly larger catamaran yacht, so there was hardly any rocking, allowing us to enjoy the sunset in a calm atmosphere. In Hawaii, there are many Japanese tourists everywhere, and while there are tours with a 100% participation rate of Japanese people, this tour had a lower percentage of Japanese guests, which made it enjoyable to converse with multilingual tourists in English.

However, there are a couple of downsides:
1. Although it's called a buffet, it's not an all-you-can-eat experience. For example, there are restrictions like "two pieces per person." It means you can eat what you like, but only in specified quantities. Japanese people might associate buffet with all-you-can-eat, so this is something to be aware of.
2. At the check-in counter, Westerners were allowed to check in before the designated time, while Japanese guests were told to "wait until the time," which felt discriminatory. After persistent negotiation, I was finally allowed to check in, but for Japanese guests with limited English skills, they might end up feeling helpless. Since boarding is done in the order of check-in, securing your spot is very important.

難点は、
①ビュフェとありますが、いわゆる食べ放題ではありません。たとえば「これは一人二個まで」などの制限があります。「好きなものを決まった分量まで食べてよいですよ」という意味です。日本人はビュフェ＝食べ放題というイメージでしょうから注意が必要です。
②チェックインカウンターでは、西洋人はチェックイン開始時間前に受付していながら、日本人は「時間までまて」と差別を受けました。しつこく交渉してやっと受付てもらえましたが、英語力のない日本人だと泣き寝入りでしょう。受付順に乗船して席を確保しますので、受付順は非常に重要です。
