It seemed like the crew was bored to be there with us, they had no enthusiasm whatsoever. We paid $70/each for this cruise and did not even get to take a swim break. The 1st mate was the only one that would talk with us and that was only when we asked questions. The forward sail was torn and tatered, otherwise the boat was clean.
We were told we could leave items below deck so we would not get them wet. My wife left her shorts below and when we left she realized her lipstick and hand lotion had been taken out of her pocket. We could not beleive someone would steal personal items of no value. Unbelievalbe. Change the crew out find people that are excited to be there and care about your customers.

I participated with two friends. It was my first time in Hawaii, and I only booked the flight and hotel, so I was looking for optional tours and found this one. They picked us up by car at the hotel and contacted us the day before for the pickup. Since it was just the two of us that day, they moved the tour time to the morning. Our guide was Japanese, which made it easy to talk, and I was able to hear a lot of interesting information. When we arrived at the location, we received an explanation and entered the beach. We were able to put our valuables in a box that the guide brought and lock it up, which made me feel secure. We received our snorkeling sets and headed into the ocean. I wasn't very good at swimming, but they adjusted the pace to match my ability, which made me feel at ease. We moved through the beautiful sea while looking for fish, and time flew by. Unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles, but I was satisfied because we saw various fish. I think it's recommended for those who are not used to snorkeling or are visiting Hanauma Bay for the first time (＾_＾).

It was a beautiful day with great weather, and the color of the sea and the scenery were wonderful. I was happy to see sea turtles in various spots. However, the sandbar was a bit disappointing because the water level was above my waist due to the high tide. The snorkeling was fantastic, as I got to see many different fish and corals, so I was very satisfied! The staff were incredibly kind, and my nearly 80-year-old mother, who was initially scared, also enjoyed herself. Next time, I would like to participate during low tide. Thank you!

I participated in the deluxe plan with my parents, who are over 70, and seven friends and their sons. We arrived in about 30 minutes by car from Honolulu. They distributed maps on the bus and provided explanations in Japanese, so we were able to navigate easily upon arrival. There were numerous attractions that you definitely can't experience at pools in Japan. My 74-year-old mother enjoyed herself alongside the younger kids. There are pools that are enjoyable for families with small children, but I highly recommend going with a larger group, such as young friends or company trips (since there are attractions that can be enjoyed by four or more people). I think the duration of our stay was just right. The deluxe plan includes lunch and a bodyboarding lesson, but I wasn't expecting much from the lunch. However, the bodyboarding lesson was special since we had exclusive access to the wave pool, and it was fun. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I recommend the deluxe plan since it's worth it.

I booked a surf lesson, but I wasn't picked up at the scheduled time. When I called to confirm, I was told that the reservation was for the next day. However, the date and time on the voucher were correct, and I had plans for the next day as well. After I explained this, they agreed to come pick me up. In the end, I was picked up an hour late, but I was able to take the lesson. They even extended the lesson time to make up for the delay after everyone else finished. My daughter, who has study abroad experience, was able to handle the phone inquiry in English smoothly, but I think it would be a bit concerning for someone who isn't as comfortable with the language.

Got caught in the "hang loose" spirit of Hawaii. The activity was booked for transporation at 9.45AM. The day before the activity a message was left at the hotelphone that transport fell through and I had to confirm (before 6PM) new transport time of 5.15AM! Of course I got back at my hotel after 12PM and wasn't able to confirm early pick-up. So I decided to go to the meeting point anyway, but no transport. Office opened at 6AM when I could finally phone in. Service level was low, merely a "No transport, sorry, reschedule please" Since that was not an option for me we had to come up with a solution. After a lot of back and forth (cab will cost you 200 one way!!)I decided to go on a citybus for 2.5 hrs which cost me 2.50 dollars and I made it with an hour to spare. Veltra was very service friendly. They contacted me and booked transport money back right away, without me even asking for it. So lesson learned: No pick-up service for shark tour!
I never even got a sorry from the Shark tour operator and the captain didn't know my name I had become a plus one!
The harbour of the tour itself was a bit dingy at best. The public toilet was filthy with bloodstains and glass bottles, but the boat had no changing option, so you have to use it.
The boat is very nice and the boat ride is awesome (unless you have motion sickness, in that case you will get sick, trust me!)The shark cage is not big, but big enough for the six per group that went in. Pay for the DVD, taking pictures yourself is very hard. The life vest will keep you floating and the ocean slams you into the cagebarrier.
The sharks are amazing and worth every bit of inconvenience. The crew is friendly and knowledgeable. They care for your safety and for the ocean wild life. It's not scary at all. When you get back I recomment getting lunch at Halewa Joe's. Just sit there and review your tour. If you can visit North shore or Turtle beach on your way back. The total tour is highly recommendable (without transport)

The staff is entertaining, and you can go quite high up! The view is spectacular! However, you have to wait for other people's turn, and I got really seasick on the small boat, honestly, I was almost about to throw up... (°_°;) I recommend bringing motion sickness medication for those who are sensitive.

スタッフもおもしろくて、なかなかの高さまで上がります！絶景です！
ただ自分たち以外の人の時間待っていないといけないのですが、小さいボートでゆらゆら、スゴく酔いました、正直もうすこしで戻していましたね…(°_°;)

Since another group canceled at the last minute, we were able to enjoy a private experience! Our guide, Dan, was very funny and kind, and I feel like I enjoyed it ten times more than other tours (laughs). They provide everything you need, including snorkels, lifeguards, fins, and mats, so you can join with just a swimsuit! At first, I was nervous and couldn't swim well, but Dan helped me by pulling me along. It was my first time in Hawaii, and Hanauma Bay was truly beautiful; I was constantly amazed! The stunning blue sea, colorful fish, and the long-awaited sea turtles!! I got to see them come up for air right in front of me twice! So moving! They took a lot of photos, which I was able to save from Facebook! It was truly a satisfying tour! Next time, I would like to try diving!

Participated on October 2nd. A must-see for LOST fans. You can enjoy that bamboo grove. Walking through the bamboo thicket is interesting and addictive. The tour is all-inclusive. They provide all the necessary gear, water, and snacks. (The dried fruit and nuts are delicious. Eating them while exercising is super tasty because they're sweet and salty.) They even came to pick us up before the scheduled time. The guide was kind, cheerful, and explained everything well; he was very serious and the best. I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the tropical rainforest. The view of the mountains from the Manoa residential area is also lovely. The difficulty level is adjusted to the participants' fitness, so I think there's no need to worry.

I've visited Hawaii more than ten times, but it was my first time at Wet 'n' Wild. The children's pool area was fantastic, and my 4-year-old had a great time. The bodyboarding lesson included in the tour was the most memorable part. Although it wasn't a formal lesson with staff instruction, you get to catch the waves on your own. It's also okay to ride on the same board with your child, and when you manage to catch a wave, it feels exhilarating! My child enjoyed it repeatedly without any fear. I hope to let them try the slides when they get a bit older. The day truly flew by.

The sandbar was submerged up to my knees and didn't appear, but the scenery was beautiful, and I had fun swimming with turtles while snorkeling. I also spotted many turtles from the boat! The staff were cheerful and kind, and the handmade hamburgers for lunch exceeded my expectations in taste. I definitely want to revisit the sandbar for a second chance. There were many young people, but it was a friendly and enjoyable tour for all ages.

I felt a bit scared, but my husband and son were excited from the start. If we can go to Hawaii again next year, I definitely want to try parasailing again. Also, I accidentally lost my hat, but a cool guy (the one who was explaining things) jumped into the sea and retrieved it for me! Thank you! It was a moment that improved my impression of Hawaii after 27 years.

I have had some experience with boats before, but I had never been on a small one, and I experienced seasickness for the first time. It was really tough, so even those who usually don't get motion sickness should be cautious. However, I was happy that the guide quickly noticed my change in condition and took care of me. Despite suffering from seasickness, I was able to go parasailing, and the view was truly amazing. Next time, I want to take motion sickness medication and give it another try.

My wife & I love Shark Week so this activity was a clear must do. There is so much to talk about for this activity, but I'll just break it down to pros & cons. Pros: the water is really warm and about 80ft of visibility, the crew was nice, the sharks ranged at a decent 10ft to 12ft, the sharks get extremely close to the cage where you can touch a fin (but they tell you don't so beware), and most importantly not even Jaws can get through that cage (super thick bars). Cons: it's a small boat so if your prone to motion sickness you NEED dramamime since your out there for about 2 hours, no food or snacks so bring some because after your 30min dive you will be hungry and its about 1-2 hrs before you get back to Waikiki, and this is a tip from the wife - the bathroom at the dock is a park restroom so no seat covers so byosc ;). Wish I had a photo to share off my phone since it was really cool but its all on the gopro.

As a U.S. Navy Vet I was already beyond excited to go visit the iconic ship, but what was even cooler was being able to have access to so much of ship. However, the best part was being able to stand where the unconditional surrendering of the Japanese took place. Really neat! Only tip I can give is to take the early tours to have more time in each compartment, we took the 9am tour and our group was only 6 people (compared to the 15+ in the group after).

The price was somewhat high, so I hesitated a bit when making the reservation, but after participating in the program, I was really glad I booked it and was very satisfied. Since it's an experience that's hard to come by, I think it was a good decision to go for it.

Since the buggy does not have power steering, it requires some "strength" to operate the steering wheel. This adds to the fun of driving the buggy. There is a steep cliff behind and the ocean in front. It is a nearly flat grassland (RUNCH) sandwiched between them. Driving a buggy through nature gives you a feeling of being embraced by the great outdoors. There was an explanation that "Jurassic Park and other movies" were filmed here, but I am not interested in that; I would rather have more time to drive the buggy. The majestic mountains and ocean are likely the appeal of this activity. A little more attention, such as providing bottled water, would be appreciated. Taking a break while drinking cold water and enjoying the scenery...

ここれは、異質の「体験」かも知れない・・・・・
