I'll start with the positive.

The crew is young and enthusiastic. Everyone had smiles and was helpful with the gear.

This is a great excursion for tourists and beginner snorkelers. Great vivews of the Eastern part of the island and a pleasant swim with sea life. The crew teaches everyone how to use the equipment and will help people in the water. They spend about 20 minutes at each site so, for experienced snorkelers, it can be a little dull.

The hotel pickup was on time and the driver was good. The van is new and the ride was smooth.

You will be visiting with Spinner Dolphins. They are small dolphin and swim in pods of 30. The captain knows their favorite spots and will make sure you get to swim with them. By law, you will need to be wearing a life jacket to do this part of the swim. We got to see two pods. It was delightful. This tour company was knowledgeable about dolphins and is conerned with their safety.

We stopped at two more snorkeling locations. The fist stop was a small cove and the second had turtles.

The lunch at the Spinner cafe was good. I had the breakfast burrito and it was tasty and well prepared. The menu is small but the portions are big. The pancakes looked really good.

The reason for my 3 stars is not the quality of the company but an incident I had. The crew should be better trained in basic fist aid. I ended up treating myself with the supplies I keep in my bag. After asking if I was okay, no one helped or checked on my for the rest of the trip.

I would recommend this for people visiting Ohau and beginner snorkelers.

I visited for the first time with my 6-year-old daughter (125 cm). While it might seem odd to go to a pool in Hawaii, I think it's a safe place where kids can play to their heart's content. It might also be a good option on days when the weather is bad and beach activities are not ideal! There are pools for small children, a lazy river, and a wave pool. If you're over 122 cm, the whole family can enjoy the big slide, which is thrilling, and my daughter tried it multiple times. The large slide for five people is something that even moms who are scared might enjoy together with their families. Please note that bringing in floaties and drinks is prohibited; they will be confiscated at the entrance. However, floaties are available for rent inside. There are also lockers available. I thought it might be easier and more economical to go with a tour. By the way, we opted for a tour that included transportation and admission fees, and we purchased lunch inside on our own.

I enjoyed a pleasant walk in the sky with a great height. The wind was comfortable, and the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head was fantastic. The staff took photos of us from the boat. They recorded the data on an SD card, taking 50 pictures for $30. I bought them as a keepsake since I couldn't take pictures of myself flying, and I'm very satisfied with the quality of the photos. I participated alone this time, but I would like to go with my son next time.

The facility itself is fun. There are a variety of attractions that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. However, the BBQ lunch buffet was terrible. It was buffet-style, and while I think it was cooked just before serving, I was expecting hot meat that I could grill myself, but that wasn't the case. The dining area was dimly lit and not a place where you would want to enjoy a leisurely meal. Above all, the faces of the other tour guests were gloomy. I wonder if everyone was disappointed. I think it would be better to eat at a local place within the park. The shuttle bus was comfortable, but it leaves early, so it's not suitable for those who want to stay longer. I had fun, but it turned out to be a somewhat disappointing tour.

I'm glad I was able to go since I had been wanting to visit Hawaii for a long time after researching it online before my trip.

There are so many slides of various types, and while most are thrilling, there are also plenty of pools where small children can play. I think it's a place where everyone can enjoy themselves, from kids to adults, friends, couples, and families! It had been a while since my whole family could have fun together, so it was great to experience that again (laughs). By the way, I rode on every slide I could (laughs).

It wasn't as crowded as I expected, so I was able to enjoy all the slides without much waiting, which was nice! Also, there were free drinks available, so we could drink as much as we wanted!

I had a really great time!

The sharks were accustomed to people and there was no sense of danger at all. About 10 sharks, around 4 meters long, came by, but they had no aggression and it wasn't very interesting. It might be more entertaining if bait was placed near the cage. They were swimming around the cage, so it felt lacking. I bought the footage for $75, but there were people who weren't buying any interesting footage positioned between me and the camera, so I didn't appear much in it. Overall, it felt like there was a lack of consideration and it was quite unsatisfying.

However, there was an issue with someone cutting in line on the day of the event, which caused us to go over the scheduled end time. I also didn't quite understand the difference between 90 meters and 150 meters. There was an option to take videos and photos with a GoPro, which incurred an additional fee.

My image of parasailing was similar to flying a kite during the New Year, where the boat is like the kite. I mistakenly thought I was choosing the 150 meters height, but the length of the rope attached to the boat was fixed, and those who were doing 90 meters had their ropes extended to the limit. I felt that there wouldn't be much difference whether I chose 90 or 150 meters.

We went as a family of five on June 17, 2017. Even though we don't speak English, it was not a problem at all. There were staff members at the front desk who spoke Japanese and provided detailed explanations to other Japanese guests as well. However, at the zip line location, it was English only, but it was interesting how we could somehow understand it. There are various poses for sliding, but since we were allowed to go after the others, just imitating the person in front of us was fine. The scenery is beautiful, so I think it's better to take your camera with you instead of leaving it in the locker. Even if you don't have one, the staff will take plenty of photos, but it comes at a cost. There is one spot where you have to climb up to the top of the tower using a rope by yourself, but the staff will help you, so there are no issues with progress. (The next day, I had muscle soreness.) As mentioned in other experiences, it does take time to travel from the Waikiki area, which is a downside, but you can sleep well on the way back. The scenery is absolutely amazing!

フロントには日本語の話せるスタッフもいて私達以外の日本人にも丁寧に説明してました。
でもジップラインの場所では英語オンリーになってしまいますが、これが不思議で何となくわかってしまうんです＾＾滑り方のポーズも色々ありますが、滑る順番を後にして貰ったので前に滑る人のマネをすれば大丈夫です。景色が良いのでカメラはロッカーに入れずに持って行ったほうがいいと思います。持ってなくてもスタッフが沢山撮ってくれますが、有料です＞＜
それと一ヶ所だけ自分の力で塔の上までロープで登る所がありますが、スタッフがヘルプしてくれるので進行には問題ありません。（翌日は筋肉痛）他の体験談にもありますが、ワイキキ地区からは移動に時間がかかってしまうのは難点ですが、帰りの車は充分爆睡できますよ＾＾；

When I arrived in Hawaii, I participated in various activities, but for the first time, there were no Japanese people at all; all the participants were Americans. It was completely an away game, and I spent the time chuckling at American jokes.

I chose the 120m based on experiences I read about, and I enjoyed it with a great view. When descending, they skillfully dropped me into the sea multiple times, which was amusing. I was scared of falling into the sea, so I left my camera behind when I jumped, but next time I want to take it with me.

Best luau that I have been to. My family, including my teenage son, we all agreed it was the best time of our 8 day vacation. The Chief was funny and you felt like you were part of his family, All the performers, including the Chief were terrific and talented and so friendly .
Buffet was very good, the backdrop of the beautiful shore and ocean waves and the sunset was just too beautiful to describe.
This is the luau to go to!

Picked this tour to the north shore due to the choice of activities and since it had pick up from Waikiki. Mike was our guide and informative. Snorkelled at Shark's cove then headed to Waimea Bay for some snorkelling and beach time. Then chose to paddle boarding down the river near Haleiwa instead of kayaking. Ended the tour at Haleiwa. Good tour for the time spent up north and activities you could participate in and p/u provided.

Unfortunately, it rained on and off from the morning, but after we set sail, the weather cleared up a bit and we were able to enjoy the tour. The guide was full of energy, and while the customers seemed to struggle a bit to keep up with her enthusiasm (laughs), we appreciated her consideration for us with children.

Once we set sail, we started with turtle watching, but the turtles are smaller than dolphins and only come to the surface for a moment, so I wasn't able to see any swimming turtles. However, we were lucky to spot some turtles basking on the rocks, and I was able to take some good photos. The sandbar had decent tides that day, so the water depth was around my ankles to my calves. It was a strange feeling standing in a place far from land.

After taking photos, I stayed on the sandbar with my kindergarten-aged daughter while my husband and elementary school-aged child went snorkeling. The snorkeling group swam in a line with the guides, but the people in front weren't moving very quickly, causing quite a traffic jam for those in the back, leading to some bumping into each other. I understand that the swimming abilities of the participants played a role in this, but I wish we could have swum a bit more freely.

While the snorkeling was a bit disappointing, I think we had a fun and enjoyable tour overall. Thank you very much.

この日はあいにく朝から雨が降ったり止んだりでしたが、出航後は少し晴れてツアーを楽しむことができました。ガイドのお姉さんは元気いっぱいでそのテンションにお客さんが若干ついていけてない感じもありましたが（笑）子連れの私たちを気遣ってくれてありがたかったです。出航するとまずウミガメウォッチングですが、ウミガメはイルカより小さく水面に出るのが一瞬なので泳いでいるカメは私は見られませんでした。ですが運よく甲羅干し中のカメたちがいて、しっかりと写真に撮ることもできました。サンドバーは潮がそこそこいい日だったので水深は足首～ふくらはぎくらい。陸地から離れた場所に立っている不思議な感覚が味わえました。写真撮影後、私は幼稚園児の娘とサンドバーに残りましたが夫と小学生の子供はシュノーケルへ。シュノーケル組はガイドさんたちと一列になって泳ぐのですが、前の人たちがなかなか進まず後ろの方はかなり渋滞して、手足がぶつかったりと大変だったとのことです。参加者の泳力の問題もあるので仕方ないとは思いますが、もう少しフリーで泳げたらよかったなぁと思います。シュノーケルは少し残念でしたが、他は楽しくいいツアーに参加できたと思います。ありがとうございました。

I thought we would go together, but we ended up on separate courses and never saw each other, which made it feel exclusive. The horse was very intelligent and well-groomed, so I felt safe and enjoyed myself. The guide couldn't speak Japanese, but she engaged with us, which was fun. And above all, the location nestled between the mountains and the sea was perfect. I was able to relax and had a wonderful time.

Since I wanted to experience parasailing, I signed up for the highest option at 150 meters. When we reached the highest altitude, we had a stunning view from Waikiki to Diamond Head, and it felt like Diamond Head was at the same height as us. The trainer that was with me was Christian, and he was exceedingly helpful and reassuring, adding various facts about dolphins and marine life throughout the encounter. Kolohe, the dolphin I met, was very friendly and well-behaved.

I think this is a great experience, especially for kids or others who don't know a lot about dolphins and marine life.

We participated as a family with our 1-year-old and 4-year-old children. It was their first time cruising. Fortunately, they didn't get seasick and were very satisfied with the beautiful sea and delicious hamburgers. The water level at the sandbar was high that day, so the kids couldn't put their feet in (but it wasn't a problem since I was holding them). We also got to see sea turtles, and it was a fun experience that created great memories.

I really wanted to go to the sandbar, and although I had given up because reservations were full, it seems there was a cancellation just before my departure. Checking VELTRA every day until the last minute paid off!

The weather was cloudy in the morning, but it was sunny at the location, making it incredibly beautiful! When I first got off the boat, I was surprised by how deep the water was. At 158 cm tall, I was submerged up to my chest. It probably varies by season, but those who are shorter should be cautious at first. However, after moving a little further in, I was able to walk, and the water was indeed beautiful! We also saw plenty of sea turtles. Later, we went snorkeling at another spot, but my husband and I stayed on the boat to watch everyone. The sea turtles swam quite close to those snorkeling.

Here are some notes I remember, which might be helpful for those planning to go:

- If you use a waterproof case for your smartphone (available at ABC Store) for too long, a "High Temperature Warning" message will appear on the screen, making it unusable! I wanted to take photos and videos the whole time, but be careful.
- During lunch, it's a buffet style on the boat, so there will be quite a line. Therefore, those who come out of the water early should line up as soon as possible.
- The wind is strong on the boat, so be careful as various items (like lettuce and snacks) on your lunch plate may blow away.
- There is a restroom on the boat, which is reassuring. However, the flushing mechanism can be a bit confusing at first. You need to press a larger lever located under the toilet to flush.
- If you just want to enjoy the scenery, you can stay on the boat the whole time, so you can participate with peace of mind.

Overall, it was a very satisfying tour! I would love to do it again!

どうしても行きたかったサンドバー、予約いっぱいで諦めてましたが、直前にキャンセルが出たのか?出発直前までVELTRAさんを毎日チェックしていた甲斐がありました。

天気は朝は曇ってましたが、現地では晴れたのでメチャメチャ綺麗でした♪
最初、船から降りた時には海が深くて驚きました。身長１５８で、胸がすっぽり隠れるくらいまで浸かってしまいました。時期によって違うのでしょうが、身長の低い方は最初要注意です。でも少しだけ進むと歩けるようになり、海はやっぱり綺麗でした！！
そしてウミガメもいっぱい見れました。後半別の場所でシュノーケリングをするのですが、私たち夫婦は船上でみなさんの様子を見てましたが、シュノーケリングしてる方のかなり近くまでウミガメが泳いでました。
以下、箇条書きで覚えている事を記載するので、これから行く方の参考に少しでもなれば♪

・スマホの防水ケース（ABCストアで売ってる）をずっと使用してるとスマホの画面に「高温注意」という文字が出て使用不可になる！ずっと写真、動画撮っていたいですが、注意です。
・ランチの時は船内でバイキング形式で順番に取っていくので、かなり並びます。なので、海から早く上がった人は早めに並んだ方が◎。
・船上は風が強いので、ランチのプレートに乗せた色々（レタスとかスナックとか）飛ばされるので注意です。
・船内にもトイレがあるので安心です。が、水の流し方が一見分かりにくいです。便器の下にある大き目のレバー？みたいなのを押すと流れます。
・景色だけ楽しみたい方は、ずっと船上にもいれるので安心して参加できます。

全体的に大満足のツアーでした＾＾
またリピートしたいです！

This was amazing! I am so glad we picked this as an activity! I would do this again if we ever make it back to Oahu. We saw sharks from the minute we got out and they were around us the entire time. It was a little intimidating at first, but the guides were always watchful above and below the water so I felt as safe as you possible could be given the chosen activity. The only thing I would say could be better was finding what area you are suppose to be to board the boat, there are no signs for check in or really where you are suppose to be and I wish I would have taken my camera I wanted some pictures but felt the group rate was too high. I would recommend this to anyone!
