It was my first time parasailing, and even at 150 meters, it was not scary at all and was really fun! I would love to try a higher one if available! There were three other groups, and two of them were Japanese, who were very nice people, so I had a great time. I think it's better to wear a rash guard since you get a bit wet! Also, I recommend bringing a bath towel! I gave a tip of $10 per person (to two crew members and one driver, totaling $30). Please use this as a reference!

I chose this small group tour with one guide for every five participants from the many snorkeling options at Hanauma Bay, but for some reason, there was one guide for seven participants. I thought it was strange and checked the voucher, but upon closer inspection, I noticed there was no mention of a participant limit, so I thought I might have been mistaken and didn't confirm with the guide at that moment. However, after returning home and looking at the Veltra website, it indeed states five participants. I'm disappointed that there was a discrepancy between the website information and what I experienced.

Also, even though it was a half-day tour, it took time to prepare, and the snorkeling was just one outing before returning to the beach. There was no time to relax on the beach, and the mineral water and snacks included in the tour price were only provided at the end. Given the high ratings and my expectations, I found the experience a bit lacking. However, I did see a lot of fish and even encountered a honu.

Everything you want in a luau...take your sandles off, walk by a lagoon at sunset while drinking a mai tai, and then enjoy a feast while watching an amazing Polynesian performance. The pre-luau events were fun for the whole family. My favorite was the shower of flowers. While the actual shower of flowers was fragrant and beautiful, I was most impressed by the person who climbed to the top of the palm tree within 30 seconds...while carrying a linen bag full of flowers! My future mother-in-law's favorite activity was the spear throwing. Even though she missed the target, she had fun and we enjoyed cheering her on.
This luau is packed full of fun activities and entertainment. You're sure to leave with memories you'll cherish.

It's a wonderful activity where you can enjoy the scenery of Hawaii from the sky in a relaxed manner. Before starting, I was a bit nervous thinking it might be scary, but in reality, it wasn't scary at all. You ascend slowly and descend slowly, so there's no fear of falling, which is reassuring.

If I had to say something, I felt a bit uneasy not being able to confirm if we were at the height we ordered. If you can't speak English, you can't properly communicate with the instructor about the height. Since the prices vary, it's better to avoid any worries in this regard.

I was quite anxious because they didn’t arrive even by the meeting time (laughs). The voucher mentioned to call if they didn’t show up after five minutes, so I called, and they explained in English that "a blue car is coming, so please wait another five minutes." I waited a bit longer, and in the end, they were 20 minutes late (laughs). The driver also said something like, "I’m really sorry!!!" and apologized, and he had a likable character, so I convinced myself that maybe it’s rare for them to arrive on time (laughs).

Now, about the experience, the view from 150 meters was amazing! My husband and I got to experience it together as a pair. Before it was our turn, they handed us a Japanese instruction manual, so we could confirm details like photo opportunities and that if we requested "dry landing, please" before landing, we could return to the boat without getting wet. We asked to go up to our waists (laughs).

As for the facilities, there are no changing rooms or lockers. If you really want to change afterward, you might want to use the public restroom nearby. Since there are no lockers, I wouldn’t recommend bringing large bags. Also, since you move out to sea by boat, some water splashes will come in, so if you really don’t want to get your belongings wet, it’s better to put them in a plastic bag or something.

On the way back, the funky driver came over and guided me to the car. When I mentioned that I got wet, he said, "It's okay, no problem!" but I felt a bit awkward getting in wet, so I used the beach towel I brought to sit on the seat. When I told him the hotel I was staying at, he kindly drove me there, which was very helpful.

さて内容についてですが、
150mの眺めは最高でした！
自分たち夫婦でペアで一緒に体験させてもらいました。
順番が回ってくる前に日本語の説明書を渡してくれたので、写真撮影の事、着地する前に「ドライランディング、プリーズ」と希望すれば海に浸かる事なく船まで戻れる事など、しっかり確認する事ができます。
私たちは腰までやってくださいと言いました(笑)

設備ですが、更衣室、ロッカーはありません。
終わったあとどうしても着替えたいのであれば近くにある公衆トイレを使うといいかもしれません。
ロッカーがないので、あまり大きい荷物を持って行く事はオススメしません。あと、船で沖まで移動するのでその際に多少の水しぶきが入ってきますから、どうしても濡らしたくない場合はビニール袋か何かに荷物を入れたほうがいいと思います。

帰りはファンキードライバーさんが近寄ってきてくれて、車まで案内してくれました。
腰ポチャした事を告げると「いいっていいって、ノープロブレム！」と言ってくれましたが、濡れたまま乗るのも気が引けたので持参したバスタオルを座席に敷いて座りました。泊まっているホテルを告げるとホテルまで送ってくれたのでとても助かりました。

I’m glad I finally got to try surfing in Hawaii. I was a bit anxious at first, but with the support of the instructor, I was able to ride the waves. One thing to note is that photos taken during surfing are available for purchase at $35, but since it’s a special memory, it would have been nice if they could offer them for around $20.

From the greeters to the servers to the Chief himself, everyone treated us like we were a part of the family. It felt like a big family reunion.
The food was delicious, and even if you're vegetarian or vegan like me, there are plenty of options! I had a mountain of food on my plate and didn't leave hungry.
The entertainment was my favorite part. Talented hula and warrior dancers performed traditional dances from various regions of Polynesia. So it was both entertaining and educational. I highly recommend this luau!

The staff was amazing, but for money, this was just ok for us. We spent 2 hours cruising the ocean looking for whales. We did not see any, but did see some dolphins and a sea turtle. I was under the impression that the boat would be a catamaran, and would have some areas to sit, relax, and watch. But, apparently on certain days, the Disney resort uses that boat and so we took a boat normally used for scuba diving out. There was not much seating that allowed for you to view the ocean and watch for whales, so basically we stood the whole 2 hours on some pretty choppy water. They had some snacks and refreshments which my son enjoyed, but about an hour in he was pretty bored. Again, the staff was awesome, but the experience as a whole I probably would not do again. They did give us a voucher to return for free. We will see.

I signed up for a course that included lunch. The morning pickup was smooth, and we arrived at the port without any issues. Since my friend's family, who happened to be on the same schedule, signed up separately, I was prepared for the boat to leave without us, but surprisingly, we ended up on the same boat! They had gathered a group of Japanese guests on one vessel. Our guide was also Japanese and very kind. The lunch was plentiful, and we were completely full. We got to see the honu (sea turtles) perfectly from the sandbar, and at the snorkeling point, we fulfilled our dream of swimming with them, which left the kids in awe. I am grateful for the happy time we spent, being able to see the honu until the very end.

This time, I went on a three-generation cruise with my children and mother. At the sandbar, we all had a great time playing beach volleyball and swimming. During the snorkeling afterward, my mother, who is in her late sixties, also joined everyone in the sea and had fun. She was moved to see a sea turtle up close. The hamburgers for lunch were delicious as well. However, the best part of this tour was the personality of the guide. Their desire to entertain everyone was evident, and they made sure no one was left behind. It was a truly wonderful guide.

We participated as two women. Besides us, there were three other families and couples on the same boat. Once we boarded the boat, we put on life jackets and set off! At first, it wasn't very bumpy, but as we went further out, the waves got higher, and it became quite rocky. After reaching a certain distance offshore, it was finally time for each group to start. We participated as two women. We were torn between horseback riding and trying the four-wheeler, but we decided to go for the buggy. After checking in, we had about an hour of waiting time, but we took photos of the horses and the great outdoors, so the time flew by until it was our turn for the buggy. After putting on helmets and goggles (sunglasses were also acceptable), we watched a short instructional video about driving operations, and then it was finally time to get on the buggy! We lined up behind the instructor and first drove through a test course. If there were no issues, we proceeded to the main course. The accelerator is controlled by the right thumb, which made my thumb quite tired, and it was challenging to gauge the pressure until I got used to it. Driving through the magnificent nature felt amazing and was incredibly liberating—what a fantastic experience!!! Along the way, we had a chance to take photos where there were lots of cows. The instructor even filmed some funny videos. The one-hour experience was very satisfying, so I’m glad we chose this course. It's essential to wear clothes that can get dirty and sneakers. You will get covered in dust!

The bumpy paths might be challenging for women without much strength, but I highly recommend it☆ I want to go again!!

By the way, since we rented a car, we drove to the location. The parking lot was spacious, so we were able to park quickly.

女性2人で参加しました。乗馬と迷いましたが、四輪バギーに挑戦することに。受付をしてから1時間ほど待ち時間がありましたが、馬や大自然の写真を撮ったりしていたのであっという間にバギーの時間になりました。ヘルメットとゴーグル(サングラス持参でも可)を装着してから、運転操作についての説明動画を数分見て、いよいよバギーに乗車！インストラクターの後ろを1列になり、まずはテストコースを走行。問題なければそのまま本コースへ。アクセルが右手の親指なのですが、かなり親指が疲れたのと、慣れるまでは力の入れ具合が難しかったです。壮大な大自然の中を走行するのはとても気持ちよく、開放的で最高の気分でした！！！途中、牛がたくさんいるところで写真を撮る時間を設けてくれます。インストラクターの方が面白い動画を撮ってくれました。1時間で大満足のボリュームだったので、このコースにしてよかったです。汚れてもいい服装とスニーカーは必須です。全身砂埃まみれになります！
凸凹した道が多いので、力がない女性には難しいかもしれませんが、おすすめです☆
また行きたいです！！

ちなみに、レンタカーを借りていたため現地までは車で向かいました。駐車場は広いのですぐに駐車できました。

I participated with my husband, who is prone to seasickness, but I was relieved that he didn't get sick at all. Depending on the season, after snorkeling, wet hair and a wet body can feel a bit cold with even a slight breeze. If possible, it might be better to bring all your underwear and clothes rather than just something to throw over your wet swimsuit. I finished snorkeling early and changed using a towel from the pool in the less crowded area of the boat.

時期的な問題なのか、シュノーケルの後の濡れた髪濡れた体は少し風が当たると寒いです。
出来れば、濡れた水着の上に羽織るものよりも全ての下着、洋服を持参で臨んだ方が良いかも。私はシュノーケルを早めに引きあげて人の少ない船内でプールで使用するタオルを使って着替えました

This was my second time participating in the dolphin tour, and during the last one in summer, I saw many more dolphins! It was also quite cold, as everyone had to rent wetsuits! There were quite a few people who looked uncomfortable because they got seasick.

However, this time we were able to see many honu (turtles) down below. The staff worked hard to keep everyone engaged and excited. It's a fun tour if you don't get seasick, so taking motion sickness medication is a must!

イルカツアーの参加は2回目で前回は夏でしたが、夏の方がたくさんのイルカが見られました！あとは全員の方がウェットスーツを借りていたくらい寒かったです！酔ってしまって終始辛そうな方も結構な人数いました。
ただ今回は下の方でしたがホヌ（亀）がたくさん見ることができました。
スタッフの方はみなさん盛り上げようと頑張っておられました。
酔わなければ楽しめるツアーなので、酔い止めは必須です！！

Captain Bob's Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkeling Tour & BBQ Lunch with Waikiki Pickup

We had a blast with Captain Bob’s crew! Kaneohe sandbar is spectacular, a must do activity on Oahu. The picnic was well organized, great food, amazing crew and plenty of time to relax on the sandbar, they helped us in taking our pictures and also plenty of time snorkeling. Clean snorkel equipment, bathrooms onboard and the crew was very helpful to everyone! We loved the sandbar, saw lot of turtles and fishes....it is a once in a lifetime experience! Will definitely do this again if we return to Oahu! Highly recommend this! Shoutout to Captain Bob’s crew!! You guys are awesome!

I saw a sea turtle! ウミガメ見れた！

I was able to see sea turtles three times! I was so moved to see them up close, especially since I can't swim. It was super lucky to see them so closely.

The hamburger I had on the boat was delicious.

The friendly staff assisted us with beach volleyball, and even though I wasn't very good, I had a great time.

It got cold at the end, but I was glad there were hot drinks available. They were delicious.

ウミガメ3回も見れました！
泳げない私が、間近でウミガメを見れて感動しました。間近で見れたのは、めちゃラッキーでした。

船上で食べたハンバーガーが美味しかったです。

ビーチバレーも気さくなスタッフさんがアシストしてくださり、下手くそでも楽しめました。

最後に冷えて寒かったのですが、ホットドリンクが用意されてて良かったです。美味しかったです。
