Hollywood movies sites tour leaves much to be desired

The movie tour was just underwhelming. I expected from the pictures to have more interaction with the sets, particularly for jurassic park for which a picture is prominently posted next the movie site tour online and even in the review panel. In reality they used the movie tour to try and up sell you to go on other tours where you can do what was in their pictures. Even if this were ok its a mute point as the up sold tours were not available even if you wanted to go on them. Really disappointed and feel a bit lied to. Beautiful location, otherwise i missed everything i actually wanted and expected to see.

We had an awesome guide, Tony! During the city tour, he really gave so much important and valuable history and background of Hawaii for someone who has never been to Hawaii or know much about how the state came about.
Our Pearl Harbor tour was great! Would have definitely added the USS Missouri tour as we felt we wanted more time at Pearl Harbor.

First time shark cage experience…wow…wow…wowee! The most friendly, professional, and informative guides, Alexis and Erin, were phenomenal. From on-time departure to instructions on safety and snorkel/GoPro use, all guests were given expert care. So many sharks showed up to interact with the divers. Ample time was allowed to view and photograph the sharks as they came right up to the cage. The boat ride to and from the site was smooth and beautiful. An unexpected treat was waiting for our return to the pier : ) Dozens of spinner dolphins were surrounding the boat and Alexis and Erin stopped and circled around to allow all to be entertained as some swam along the boat, diving and spinning out of the waters, and showing off their talents and joy!
Please treat yourself to this once in a lifetime experience with a fantastic crew.
Haleiwa Sharks Tours is THE crew that will deliver an unforgettable memory.

I had a wonderful experience! The tour guides were all very kind, preparing everything in advance and paying attention to us. We got to see turtles, and the hamburgers were delicious. The snorkeling allowed us to see many fish, which was very moving. I would love to participate again if I have the chance. There wasn't enough time to change, and the return bus was a bit cold with the air conditioning, so I almost caught a cold with just a towel over my wet swimsuit.

Our Driver/guide Leilani was the best. She was really funny which made our tour so much fun and enjoyable! This ranch had the most beautiful view of the valley, war remnants and its a movie and TV set.
Our guide really made it fun and funny touring us around. She was the best and we highly recommend her. What a memorable time we had here at the Kualoa Ranch!

Mike and his crew were absolutely the best hosts! They made sure everything was safe and everyone was having a good time. You can tell they love what they do. They are very welcoming and helpful. They interact with their guests on the sandbar and at the reef. It was our first experience on a sandbar and they helped make it very memorable! They offer to take pics for you, they BBQ, and offer drinks (alcohol and nonalcoholic). We will definitely book this cruise again next time we come! Hopefully Mike, Ruth and their crew are available!

Amazing bucket list adventure!

This was an amazing once on a lifetime bucket list opportunity! They answered the phone when I had any questions and the crew was super welcoming and I felt extremely safe! With just a short 15 minute boat ride there was plenty of opportunity for the dive itself with a well timed activity! The 50+ sharks were amazing to behold and it was a calming and wonderful experience!

The entire experience was first class. After much research about all the different snorkeling excursions we decided to go with this one. Overall the entire experience was great. Captain Bob , Mike and the rest of the crew were extremely accomodating and courteous. The food hit the spot and the service was great.. This excursion even included transportation to and from hotel at No additional cost. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a snorkeling adventure.

There were 10 of us that had the opportunity to enjoy a fancy dinner on the waters off of Ohau. The age range of our party were from 2-72.

From the time we arrived and checked in we were treated courteously and made to feel welcomed! The music and dancing while we waited made the experience more exciting for my nephews (2,4, & 8 years old) and for my Brother and wife who have never been to Hawaii before. Once onboard we were greeted by the captain of the boat which thrilled them silly and kept my sister in law busy trying to get them to their seats.

We had the best waitress for our table! we always had something to drink and when we were undecided she was able to suggest drinks for the adults and kids. When the boys were unsure with dinner, our waitress brought more cheese and fruit. We never had to look for her she just knew and was always available.

We all enjoyed the dancing and even were invited to join in. My nephews danced their hearts out, along with my mom (the 72 year old) and my sister. The views from the top deck were specular and we got some great family pictures.
Defiantly an event we will remember!
Thank you to the staff aboard the Star of Honolulu! you were fantastic!

Great opportunity for beautiful scenery and learning

This tour was fantastic. I had no idea Hawaii was used as the backdrop for so many movies and TV shows. Kimo was our tour guide and he was fantastic; very funny and informative. The scenery was fantastic: beautiful mountains and beautiful ocean views all in one place. My 15-year-old sons thought it was an amazing day. Couple of things for future visitors to know: 1) cell service is intermittent. Your phone searches when the signal is dropped and this eats up battery life. Bring a power pack with you just in case or a charger (this is especially important for item 2. 2) if you use Lyft or Uber to get out to the Ranch from Waikiki, try to arrange for pick up for the return ahead of time. Uber is nearly twice as expensive as Lyft. There is one Lyft driver, Jane, that picked us up. She actually lives in the area. Otherwise, you will be waiting for a while. So, save some phone battery for the driver search/wait.

We had the time of our life at Captain Bobs sandbar your. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area surrounding the sandbar. We also were able to swim with the turtles when we went snorkeling!! I would definitely go again and it was worth every penny!! Please don’t miss out on this tour

Great way to experience the sandbar. Always wanted to go, but didn’t have any way to get there. Fun playing volleyball and snorkeling. Drinks on board was a plus. Loved the fact that the burgers we had on board were cooked on the grill they had on the boat and weren’t dry.

Cage diving has always been at the top of my list of wants whenever I go on vacation.. finally got the chance during this trip to Hawaii, the women running the boat were super knowledgeable and made sure it was an enjoyable experience.. loved that the sharks were not coaxed to the boat by artificial means i.e. chumming the water.. highly recommend to anyone looking for a life-changing encounter with these beautiful majestic creatures!

Me and my husband spent a week in Waikiki and didn't plan much, expecting that we could Uber or walk or just find things to do. It wasn't that easy or cheap we soon found out that we should have preplanned our trip better. We found the this activity online and they had availability next day! The crew on Bob's were funny and friendly. The tour itself was breath taking. I would definitely recommend going on this if you want a chance to see the sand bar and get to snorkel in one of the best reefs I've ever seen. My goal of swimming with sea turtles was made real with this tour.

Passport gets you in the park, and into some attractions. Apparently not the Arizona tour, as I was told thats a seperate tour and they were all sold out when I was there. That was disappointing.
