The location was BEAUTIFUL. The food was okay, the whole thing felt kind of rushed. There is a lot of activitys you can do before dinner. You are able to pay for additional drinks. There is 2 photo opportunities once when you get there and another before dinner with the sunset. You're able to pay for them after dinner.

Everything you want in a luau...take your sandles off, walk by a lagoon at sunset while drinking a mai tai, and then enjoy a feast while watching an amazing Polynesian performance. The pre-luau events were fun for the whole family. My favorite was the shower of flowers. While the actual shower of flowers was fragrant and beautiful, I was most impressed by the person who climbed to the top of the palm tree within 30 seconds...while carrying a linen bag full of flowers! My future mother-in-law's favorite activity was the spear throwing. Even though she missed the target, she had fun and we enjoyed cheering her on.
This luau is packed full of fun activities and entertainment. You're sure to leave with memories you'll cherish.

From the greeters to the servers to the Chief himself, everyone treated us like we were a part of the family. It felt like a big family reunion.
The food was delicious, and even if you're vegetarian or vegan like me, there are plenty of options! I had a mountain of food on my plate and didn't leave hungry.
The entertainment was my favorite part. Talented hula and warrior dancers performed traditional dances from various regions of Polynesia. So it was both entertaining and educational. I highly recommend this luau!

2-Hour Afternoon West Oahu Whale Watching Tour - Hawaii Nautical [Dec-Mar]

The staff was amazing, but for money, this was just ok for us. We spent 2 hours cruising the ocean looking for whales. We did not see any, but did see some dolphins and a sea turtle. I was under the impression that the boat would be a catamaran, and would have some areas to sit, relax, and watch. But, apparently on certain days, the Disney resort uses that boat and so we took a boat normally used for scuba diving out. There was not much seating that allowed for you to view the ocean and watch for whales, so basically we stood the whole 2 hours on some pretty choppy water. They had some snacks and refreshments which my son enjoyed, but about an hour in he was pretty bored. Again, the staff was awesome, but the experience as a whole I probably would not do again. They did give us a voucher to return for free. We will see.

On the first night of my arrival in Hawaii, I wasn't very familiar with the hotel, so I mistakenly went to the wrong meeting place (it would have been nice to have a more detailed map of the meeting location since there were multiple entrances to the hotel). I ended up missing the bus and had to take a taxi, but I managed to arrive just in time for the departure and was able to participate without any issues.

I didn't have high expectations for the buffet food, but the show on board was impressive and very engaging as we could watch it right in front of us.

Since it was a sunset cruise on a Friday, we also got to see fireworks, which made for a satisfying experience.

The boat rocked more than I expected, and since the cruise was quite long, I think those who are prone to motion sickness should take precautions. However, I didn't see anyone around me looking unwell.

ハワイ到着初日の夜でホテルの中もまだよくわかってなかった為、集合場所を間違えてしまい（ホテルの出入り口複数あったのでもう少し集合場所の詳しい地図があるとよかったなあ・・・）バスに乗り遅れタクシーでなんとか出航時刻に間に合う時間に到着、無事に参加出来ました。

ビュッフェの料理はあまり期待出来ませんが船内でのショーは目の前で観覧できとても迫力がありよかったです。

サンセットや金曜日だったので花火も見れて満足なクルーズでした。

思ったより船が揺れるのと、時間も長いので乗り物に弱い方は対策をした方がいいと思います。でも周りに具合が悪そうな方はいなかったです

I signed up for a course that included lunch. The morning pickup was smooth, and we arrived at the port without any issues. Since my friend's family, who happened to be on the same schedule, signed up separately, I was prepared for the boat to leave without us, but surprisingly, we ended up on the same boat! They had gathered a group of Japanese guests on one vessel. Our guide was also Japanese and very kind. The lunch was plentiful, and we were completely full. We got to see the honu (sea turtles) perfectly from the sandbar, and at the snorkeling point, we fulfilled our dream of swimming with them, which left the kids in awe. I am grateful for the happy time we spent, being able to see the honu until the very end.

Just when I thought the sunset would be ruined by the clouds, they cleared up for about ten minutes at the perfect moment, allowing us to see a beautiful sunset. One of the grandmothers said she couldn't finish the full course, so we chose the buffet. I was surprised to find yakisoba and white rice available. Overall, the food isn't extremely high quality or diverse, but it’s enough to fill you up. I was shocked at how expensive the drinks were... (soft drinks $5, alcohol $10). The dance show after sunset was surprisingly long, and the dancers changing costumes one after another was quite a sight to see.

I was unsure about sightseeing in Hawaii since I had elderly parents with me, but the dinner cruise seemed to be quite good for them. They were picked up by a limousine from the hotel, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and the food was great as well. Conversations that might have become monotonous with just family were lively, and there were many Japanese people around, which made it enjoyable for my elderly parents. It was a very satisfying dinner cruise. I highly recommend it.

This time, I went on a three-generation cruise with my children and mother. At the sandbar, we all had a great time playing beach volleyball and swimming. The price, service, and food are quite cheap for being on a ship.

The levels and spaces are separated by rank. I was in the cheapest area, but honestly, the MC (master of ceremonies) didn't have enough energy to really get the crowd going, making it difficult to create a lively atmosphere. The hula dancers seemed to struggle without the MC's support for that party vibe.

The area next to us, which was one rank higher, had a great MC and was really lively! I can't say much from the lowest rank, but if the music and MC in our area were as good as in the neighboring area, I think everyone would leave the Star of Honolulu feeling moved.

The MC was just an old man with a ukulele, leaning back and reading in a low tone, while next door, the music and MC were really energizing.

Depending on the season, after snorkeling, wet hair and a wet body can feel a bit cold with even a slight breeze. If possible, it might be better to bring all your underwear and clothes rather than just something to throw over your wet swimsuit. This was my second time participating in the dolphin tour, and during the last one in summer, I saw many more dolphins! It was also quite cold, as everyone had to rent wetsuits! There were quite a few people who looked uncomfortable because they got seasick.

However, this time we were able to see many honu (turtles) down below. The staff worked hard to keep everyone engaged and excited. It's a fun tour if you don't get seasick, so taking motion sickness medication is a must!

イルカツアーの参加は2回目で前回は夏でしたが、夏の方がたくさんのイルカが見られました！あとは全員の方がウェットスーツを借りていたくらい寒かったです！酔ってしまって終始辛そうな方も結構な人数いました。
ただ今回は下の方でしたがホヌ（亀）がたくさん見ることができました。
スタッフの方はみなさん盛り上げようと頑張っておられました。
酔わなければ楽しめるツアーなので、酔い止めは必須です！！
