This was a great way to start our family Hawaiian vacation. There was something for everyone to do. We made fresh flower lei's, learned to play the ukelele, and had hula lessons. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The lunch buffet had a very nice selection and was ono (yummy).
Two hours didn't seem quite long enough. There were so many activities that we didn't get much opportunity to just sit back and enjoy the view of Honolulu from the sea. I would recommend this for a family activity. I would go again, next time for the whale watching season.

This time, we came to Hawaii as a family for a wedding. We thought about doing some family activities, so we participated in a tour with Dolphin and You. I was a bit anxious since we had my 4-year-old nephew with us, but he was very happy to ride in a kayak and see dolphins up close, which relieved me!

There were many dolphins, sea turtles, and tropical fish swimming nearby, and it was very moving. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, making it a really enjoyable activity. The BBQ burgers they grilled on the boat were also very delicious. The hula lesson was a lot of fun too. I highly recommend this tour for anyone going to Hawaii.

Additionally, they offered to sell a DVD and a photo CD-ROM, and when I got home and looked at the photos, they turned out beautifully, which was truly moving again.

今回は結婚式のために家族でハワイにきました。何か家族でアクティビティーが出来ないかと思い今回ドルフィンアンドユーさんのツアーに参加しました。4歳の甥っ子もいたので少し不安でもありましたが、カヤックに乗せてもらって近くでいるかも見ることが出来とても喜んでいた様子でほっとしました！

近くでイルカや海がめ熱帯魚もたくさん泳いでいてとても感動しました。またスタッフの方もとてもフレンドリーでこまめに気を使っていただきとても楽しいアクティビティーとなりました。船の上で焼いてもらったBBQバーガーもとっても美味しかったです。ﾌﾗのレッスンもとても楽しかったです。
ハワイに行かれる方にはかなりおすすめのツアーでした。

あと、DVDと写真のCD-ROMを販売していただけたのですが、家に帰って写真をみてすごくきれいにうつっていてまた改めて感動しました。

I was so thrilled to see our greeter with our names on a card after we arrived five hours late. I was so sure no one would show up at 8:30 p.m. when we were supposed to arrive at 2:17. It was the first time my husband ever got leid! Thank you!

I participated in the afternoon BBQ tour on September 17. This was my first time on the tour to Kaneohe, and I had been a bit anxious since I had never had good weather before. However, the weather was really nice on the day of the tour. The water depth at the sandbar was about knee-deep (which is normal for this time of year), but the colors and clarity were truly beautiful. I wasn't expecting much from the staff's service or the BBQ, but both the variety and taste were of high quality for this type of tour. Snorkeling was optional. Knowing that there aren't many types or numbers of fish, we enjoyed the colors and clarity of the sea around the boat. Just swimming with goggles was fun! You can request a DVD for an additional fee. We were the only ones who ordered it, but I'm glad we did (the first photo I posted is one they took). It was $45. I think it's worth seeing the colors and clarity of the sea at least once. By the way, you can only see sea turtles from the boat, so if your goal is to see sea turtles, you might want to consider another tour.

9月17日に午後のBBQツアーに参加しました。カネオヘへのツアーは数回目でしたがこのツアーは初＆今まで天気に恵まれた事がなかったのでチョット不安。でも当日は本当にいい天気でした。サンドバーの水深は膝程（これはこの時期の普通だとか）でしたが、色と透明度は本当に美しかったです。スタッフの対応、BBQも期待していなかったのですが、種類、味共にこの手のツアーとしては質が高かったです。シュノケールは自由参加。もともとあまり魚の種類、数は多くないのを知っていたので、私達は船の回りで海の色と透明度を楽しんでいました。ゴーグルつけて泳いでるだけでも楽しいです！別料金でDVD作成が頼めます。頼んだのは私達だけでしたが頼んでヨカッタです（投稿写真1枚目は撮ってもらったものです）。＄４５でした。1度見ておいて損はない海の色と透明度だと思います。ちなみに海亀は船から見るだけなので、海亀目的ならば他のツアーがいいかも。

I was able to see wild dolphins swimming gracefully in the vast ocean up close, and I was excited beyond my years. Additionally, the hamburger made by the captain was incredibly delicious. I can't forget that taste! (*^^*) On the boat, there was a live ukulele performance, and the staff were friendly and engaging, making it a lot of fun. The relaxing atmosphere was soothing. I also enjoyed hula for the first time, and under the cheerful guidance of the instructor, it was truly delightful.

広い海の中で悠々と泳いでる野生のイルカをまじかで見ることが出来て年甲斐も無く興奮しました。と、共に・・・船長さんが作ってくれたハンバーガーはとてもおいしかったです。あの味が忘れられません(*^^*)！船上では、生のウクレレ演奏があったり、スタッフさん達が気さくに話しかけてくれたりカメラマンさんとても楽しくって。リラックスの出来る雰囲気に和みました。初めてのフラも、陽気な先生の楽しい指導のもと、すご~くなごみました~。

On September 15th (Monday), my spouse and I participated in the afternoon BBQ course. We became very interested after seeing a post on Alan1.net and decided to sign up.

On the day of the event, we were picked up on time, and after going to about four or five pickup locations, we had to wait for about 30 minutes at the last pickup spot, possibly due to a mix-up with other participants, but we departed safely. The driver seemed a bit irritated and didn’t say a word until we arrived, but there was a radio broadcast introducing the sandbar, featuring a lively young woman who enjoys entertaining participants.

After departing, there was an introduction of the crew, and the captain was a former sumo wrestler from the Higashi-Kan room who had to retire due to a serious injury. Our guide was Eri, who humorously referred to herself as the "Iijima Ai of Hawaii." She looked youthful and energetic, not at all like someone with a high school-aged child, and it turned out she was the same woman introduced on the radio.

We arrived at the sandbar in about 15 minutes, and the color of the sea was unlike anything I had ever seen, truly resembling "heavenly waters." We quickly entered the water and strolled along the sandbar. I thought walking over coral might be painful, but it felt just like walking on a sandy beach and was not bothersome at all. After about 30 minutes of walking, those who wished to participate could go snorkeling. When we moved to a depth of 20 meters, we could see various fish through our goggles.

When we returned to the boat, a barbecue was prepared to satisfy our hunger after all the activity. There was an all-you-can-eat option, and the amount provided was more than we could finish. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the foil-grilled asparagus was especially excellent.

After the meal, we set off for turtle watching. Eri guided us to a spot with a 99.9% guarantee of seeing turtles, and the boat was filled with excitement when we spotted them swimming.

I am grateful to Eri, who kept the atmosphere lively throughout the trip and didn’t mind my bad jokes. Thank you so much, Eri! This was my sixth visit to Hawaii, but I had no idea such a wonderful place existed. I definitely want to participate again next time.

９月１５日（月）午後のＢＢＱコースに夫婦で参加。Alan1.netの書き込みを見て大変興味がわいて申し込んだ。
当日は予定時間どおりにピックアップされ、その後４~５ヵ所ピックアップ場所を回ったが、最後のピックアップ場所で参加者との行き違いだったのか３０分程待たされたが無事出発。
ドライバーさんは、いらいらしていたのか着くまで一言も話さなかったが、車内のラジオでサンドバーを紹介したＦＭ放送が流され元気の良いお姉さんがいて参加者を楽しませるのが趣味との紹介もあった。
出港後現地に着く間クルーの紹介等があり、キャプテンは元
大相撲の東関部屋で力士の経験者で現役中に大怪我をしてやめたとの事。案内してくれるのはエリさんで自称ハワイの飯島愛と言う位で高校生のお子さんがいる年齢には見えない若々しく元気の良いお姉さんで、ラジオで紹介されたお姉さんはエリさんであることが判明。
１５分程でサンドバーに着くが、今まで見たことのない海の色で、まさに「天国の海」そのものである。
早速海に入りサンドバーを散歩するが、珊瑚の上を歩くという事で痛いかと思ったが海岸の砂浜のようにぜんぜん気にならない。約３０分程散歩の後、希望者はシュノーケリングに参加。深さ２０メートルの場所まで移動するといろいろな魚が眼鏡越しに見られる。
船に戻るとバーべキューが用意されており動いた後の空腹を満たしてくれる。当然食べ放題であるが、食べきれないほどの量が用意されている。肉も柔らかく味もそこそこで特にアスパラガスのホイル焼きは最高であった。
食事後は海がめウォッチングに出発。エリさんが９９．９％
保証付きの場所に案内されると海がめの泳ぐ姿に船内は騒然となった。
出港から戻るまで終始しゃべりどうしで船内を楽しませてくれたエリさんに感謝するとともに、私の駄洒落にもいやな顔せずつきあってくれたエリさん、本当にありがとうございました。
ハワイは今回で６度目ですが、こんな素晴らしい所があるとは知りませんでした。次回も是非参加したいと思います。

I'm not very good at diving, and since I can't snorkel or dive, I chose to go on a submarine. We traveled along the seabed off the coast of Hawaii, where I could see fish and turtles up close, and in addition, we got to see planes and ships that sank during the war, which was a great experience. Also, since I don't often have the chance to ride a submarine, it was a wonderful experience. The moment the submarine emerged from the water was particularly impressive! I had a lot of fun!!

私はあまり水に潜るのが得意ではなく、シュノーケルやダイビングができないので、潜水艦を選択しました。
ハワイの近海の海底を進んでいくので、お魚や亀が間近で見れますし、加えて戦争で海に沈んだ飛行機や船も見ることができ、良い経験をさせていただきました。
また、あまり潜水艦に乗る機会がないので、良い経験になりました。特に、潜水艦が海中から現れるところは圧巻です！
とても楽しかったです！！

The scenery was very beautiful, and I was impressed. The BBQ had a lot of variety, and I was full! I thought it would have been even better if I could have seen more fish.

It was fine. I did this for my sister and her boyfriend when they came with us because it was their first time in Hawaii. I would have preferred for the greeter to be a Hawaian but she was not.

Our greeter did a fantastic job, extremely friendly and set the tone for our vacation. Good way to start off!!

Wonderful tour. Guide on the Missouri - "Toby" was great. He served on Mighty Mo and was very knowledgeable of every detail of the ship. Will do it again.

Since I was scheduled to arrive in Hawaii around 10 AM, I looked for tours available in the afternoon and decided to go to Sea Life Park. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure if I could make it in time for the shuttle bus, so I went there on my own. I checked the schedule for THE BUS routes 22 and 23 (some of which do not go to Sea Life Park) and the trolley's Blue Line online. It's best to allow about an hour for travel.

We took the 22 bus from the bus stop in front of the Waikiki Trade Center. You pay $2 (no change given) when you get on. Then, we headed to the park while enjoying views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head.

It felt like a relatively small and old-style marine park. After checking in at the entrance, we went inside and checked in again for the dolphin experience tour at the merchandise area deep in the aquarium. Japanese is not widely understood, and the English spoken has a strong accent that makes it hard to catch everything. After the explanation, we moved with our belongings to the dolphin pool. It was fine not to rent a locker.

Once we reached the dolphin pool, there was about 5-6 minutes of explanation in English, alongside a few broken explanations for Japanese visitors. Then, we put on life jackets and placed our belongings and towels at the poolside before entering the dolphin pool. The dolphin trainers spoke relatively good Japanese, so it was manageable. After that, we just enjoyed ourselves. Since we chose the adventure option, we swam while holding onto the dolphins' fins. They touched us and jumped in response to our signals...

Afterward, we took our belongings to the outdoor shower and changing room. We waited for about 40 minutes for the photos of us kissing the dolphins to be ready for purchase. They were about $13 each. It was expensive, but we ended up buying them anyway! The return buses in the evening came every 20-30 minutes.

ハワイに午前１０時すぎにつく予定だったので、午後からいけるツアーを探した結果、シーライフパークにいくことにしました。残念ながら送迎バスの時間に間に合うかどうかわからなかったので、自力で現地へ。行きは１時間に１～２本しかないＴＨＥ　ＢＵＳの２２番と２３番（シーライフパークまでいかないものもあり）の時刻とトロリーのブルーラインをネットで調べました。所要時間は１時間くらいみたほうがいいです。
私たちはワイキキトレードセンター前のバス停から２２番のバスにのりました。前からのってはじめに２ドル（おつりなし）はらいます。それからワイキキビーチやダイアモンドヘッドをみながら現地へ。
わりと小さくて古いカンジの水旅園ってカンジです。入り口でチェックインしてから中にはいり、水族園奥のグッズ売り場の中でもう一度イルカの体験ツアーのチェックイン。日本語はあまり通じません。英語もクセがあって聞き取りにくいです。説明のあと、イルカのプールまで荷物をもって移動。ロッカー借りなくても大丈夫でした。
　イルカプールについてから、英語の説明５～６分している横で日本人むけにカタコトの説明が５つほど。それからライフジャケットをつけて荷物やタオルをプールサイドにおいてイルカプールへ。イルカの調教師の人たちは比較的日本語使ってくれるので平気です。あとは楽しむだけ。私たちはアドベンチャーだったので仰向けのイルカの手につかまって泳ぎました。タッチしたり私たちの合図にあわせてジャンプしてくれたり・・・。
　終わったあとは荷物もって屋外にあるシャワーと更衣室へ。４０分まってイルカとキスしている写真ができあがり購入。一枚１３ドルくらいです。高いけどやっぱり買っちゃいました！！帰りの夕方のバスは２～３０分ごとでした。
　
　

You can enter the pool with dolphins, touch them, and even kiss them. Interacting with dolphins under the blue sky is very healing. My younger child was three years old, but since everyone wears life jackets, there were no problems at all.

いるかと一緒のプールに入り、いるかに触ったり、キスしたりできます。青空の下でのいるかとのふれあいは、とても癒されます。下の子どもが３歳でしたが、ライフジャケットを全員着用するので、全く問題ありませんでした。

We thoroughly enjoyed our trips aboard the Makani (so good we did it twice)!!

The boat is modern and very roomy. The crew without equal (especially canine "Captain" Pal)! On our first sail, we were treated to a fantastic show by a large school of dolphins. Pal (all 9 pounds of him) dove off the stern to swim with his "buddies". Not expected, but nonetheless unforgetable.

The scenery, crew, and value of this adventure are unmatched anywhere on the island in our opinion. Thanks, John, for the great times. We'll be back soon!

The lei greeting is an unforgettable experience. It is such a special welcome and very worth the cost. Our greeter was very helpful!

The Dinner Cruise was fine. We did the City Lights tour afterwards and it was a complete rip off. What little naration there was, was delivered in Japanese. Don't waste your money. Unfortunately it soured our entire evening.

This time, I signed up for this tour because I wanted to meet dolphins. It was my parents' first trip to Hawaii (their second overseas trip), and my mother was nervous because she couldn't swim, but the staff were very kind and made it enjoyable for us. Their attention to detail was excellent, and both my parents and we had a great time. My father was moved to see dolphins and many colorful fish up close while snorkeling. We were also very happy to see our parents enjoying themselves!!

We had experience diving and swimming with dolphins before, but meeting dolphins is something we can enjoy no matter how many times we do it! The cheeseburgers made by the captain were also very delicious.

今回、イルカに会いたくてこのツアーに申し込みました。両親も始めてのハワイ旅行(海外2回目）で、母は泳げず緊張していましたが、スタッフの方がとても親切で楽しませてくれ、心配りも最高で、両親も私たちもとても楽しむことができました。父は、イルカやシュノーケルでたくさんのカラフルな魚を近くで見て、感動していました。私たちもそんな両親の姿をみてとてもうれしかったです!!
私たちはダイビングをしたり、イルカとも一緒に泳いだ経験がありましたが、イルカに会うのは何度経験しても楽しめるものでした!!船長さんが作ってくれた、チーズバーガーもとてもおいしかったです。

This is my third time riding. Fortunately, I've encountered turtles and rays every time. Even if the waves are a bit high, it's calm inside. I definitely recommend using a video camera over a still camera.

乗るのは３回目。幸運にも、毎回亀やエイに会えてます。多少波が高くても中は静か。カメラよりもビデオのほうが断然お勧め。

I visited Adventure World for the first time in Hawaii, a place where kids can play to their heart's content. It felt surprisingly smaller than what I had seen in photos, but there were various pools, and it was fun. The tour price was a great deal, and I was satisfied, but I was concerned about the many dead leaves in the pool.

写真でみていたより意外に小さく感じましたが、
いろいろなプールがあって楽しかったです。
ツアー代金もお得で満足でしたが
プール内の枯葉が多かったので気になりました。

I had only moderate expectations for this tour, wondering if I would even get to see dolphins. I apologize for underestimating it!

From the moment we boarded, the staff was energetic, and after a brief prayer for our journey, dolphins appeared almost immediately! My 6-year-old son, who was snorkeling for the first time, dashed down the boat's stairs and jumped into the sea. We saw dolphins spinning on the surface, and underwater, there was a dolphin right in front of us... doing its business?! Before we knew it, our child had paddled far away in a kayak.

The clarity of the water, the proximity and number of dolphins, the variety of fish, and the staff's service (not just energetic but also kind and attentive) were all top-notch!

I participated in a snorkeling tour at a different location on another day, but none of those experiences could compare to this one. The hamburgers we had on the boat were delicious. Even the "hula lesson," which I thought would be just a bonus, turned out to be quite enjoyable. My swimsuit dried nicely too!

It's undeniable that this trip created the most fun memories for our entire family.

シュノーケリング初体験の6歳の息子まで、船の階段を駆け下りて海に飛び込んでました。
海面では複数でイルカスピン！！海の中では目の前でイルカがウンチ？？
子どもは、いつの間にかカヤックではるか彼方に・・・。

水のキレイさ、イルカとの距離の近さ・数、魚の種類の多さ、スタッフの対応（ノリだけじゃなく、親切でいきとどいてました）

別の日に異なる場所でのシュノーケリングツアーにも参加しましたが、上記のいずれも点数は下がります。
船の上でいただいたハンバーガーの美味しかったこと。
おまけ程度に考えていた「フラレッスン」も、結構楽しめました。水着も乾いたし♪

家族全員が、この旅行で一番楽しかった思い出となったのは間違いありません。

We participated with three adults and two children (ages 6 and 4). After the tour, the kids kept saying things like, "We saw a turtle!" and "There was a plane at the bottom of the sea!" over and over again. I'm glad it became a great memory for both the kids and the adults.

大人３人、子供２人（６歳と４歳）で参加しました。子どもたちはツアーが終わった後も、亀が見えたね~とか、海の底に飛行機があったね~と何度も何度も口にしてました。子供にも大人にもいい思い出になってよかったです。

I participated with the company staff. It was quite challenging, but this kind of experience is hard to come by elsewhere. The hamburger was also delicious. I will participate again.

I went on this cruise with a few of my friends, and it was worth every penny. It was one of the best things that we did in Hawaii. The captain was friendly and knowledgeable and we found schools of both spinner and bottlenosed dolphins. The crew took the time to share their knowledge of these gorogeous creatures and the captain made sure to stay with them long enough that every single person on the cruise got plenty of great pictures. Then came the snorkleing which was both unique and beatuiful. They fed the fish which allowed all of us to see the beautiful sea life up close and personal. We even saw sea turtle. On the way back the food was fantastic and the ride on the boat was just perfect. I would recommend this to anyway. We went on the 11:30 cruise and i think the dinner cruise would be fantastic as well. Great time, and highly recommeneded.

It was my first experience, and I participated with some anxiety, but it was a very satisfying tour. I definitely want to join again. However, there were no explanations in Japanese, and everything was in English, so those who don't understand English might feel anxious. You can manage by mimicking what others do, but... The bus driver on the way there was driving too fast. I was surprised that the bus was different on the way back.

初めての体験で不安ありながらの参加でしたが、大満足のツアーでした。是非また参加したいと思います。
ただ、日本語での説明がなく全て英語だったので英語が分からない方は不安になるかもしれないです。
見よう見真似でもなんとかなりますが・・・
行きのバスの運転手は飛ばしすぎです。帰りは、バスが違っててびっくりしました。

Being a first time visitor to the state of Hawaii this was a great experience for myself and a friend. The greeters were right there as we came off the airplane with our name and a big smile!!! They were also so very helpful to show us the way to transportation. I feel they went beyond the nescessary greet. Would deffinatly recomend this greeting to all who go but especialy to first time visitors.
