Last time I went to Hawaii, I had a great time watching a show at Sea Life Park, so this time I decided to participate in the Dolphin Adventure as the main event of my trip to Hawaii.

I was so excited after reading all the satisfied comments from previous participants. I was told that if the dolphins were not feeling well, we might not be able to swim with them, so I tried not to get my hopes up too high, but I was still looking forward to it just in case it happened on the day of the event.

I drove directly to the location with a rental car and participated in the second-to-last session at 1:30 PM.

As for my experience, I was thrilled to be able to touch the dolphins, but it felt like almost half of the time was spent posing with the dolphins for photos.

I got to peek at the dolphins jumping through my goggles and we sent signals to the dolphins as a group using about four different training commands. After touching the dolphins several times, a Japanese trainer asked me, "How was it? Was it good? It was good, right?" and I thought, "Wait? Is this it?!" It felt a bit anticlimactic. Other Japanese participants shared the same sentiment.

Even so, I was glad to have had a valuable experience and was somewhat satisfied. However, when I changed out of my swimsuit and peeked at the next session, I was surprised to see that they were doing the "holding onto the dorsal fin and swimming one by one," which hadn’t been done in our session just moments before.

We had been talking about how it seemed the dolphins were not feeling well that day, and while we couldn’t do it, I was shocked to learn that some sessions allowed for swimming with the dolphins. I had been looking forward to it, so it was a bit of a letdown. Of course, the dolphins' health is important, but I wondered if there were other circumstances involved. Were different dolphins used for each session? I thought maybe the last session had more time available, but to have such a difference in experience just one hour apart on the same day... there was no explanation during the activity, so I couldn’t quite accept it.

Additionally, after the activity ended, there were only two changing rooms, and while waiting for my turn and going to the restroom (which was far away), the next session started right away, and there was no one left to show us the DVD or photo samples. After waiting for a while...

前回ハワイに行った際、シーライフパークでショーを見て楽しかったので、今回はハワイ行きのメインイベントとして、思い切ってドルフィンアドベンチャーに参加してみました。

体験者の皆さんの大満足のコメントを読んで、ワクワクして仕方ありませんでした。
イルカの体調が悪いと背びれにつかまって泳ぐことが出来ない場合がある、ということでしたので、期待しすぎないように、でも、当日もし出来たらいいな～と、楽しみにして行きました。
レンタカーで直接現地に向かい、最後から２つ目の１３：３０の回に参加しました。

実際参加した感想として、イルカに触れることが出来て感激でしたが、半分近くがイルカとポーズをとりカメラに向かう、という写真撮影の時間という感じでした。

ジャンプする時のイルカの様子を水中めがねで覗いたり、４パターンほどある調教の合図をグループで一斉にイルカに送ってみたり、何度かイルカを触らせてもらううちに、
日本人調教師の方に「どうですか？良かったですか？ね、良かったでしょう」と言われて、え？これで終わり？！と思いました。ちょっと呆気なかったです。
他に参加されていた日本人の方も同意見でした。

それでも、貴重な体験が出来て良かったね、とそれなりに納得していたのですが、
水着から着替えて次の回を覗いてみると、ついさっきまでの回ではしていなかった“背びれにつかまって一人ずつ泳がせてもらう”というのが行われていて、ビックリしました。
それまで「今日はイルカの体調が悪かったみたいで、残念だったね」と話していたのですが、自分たちは出来なかったけれど、回によっては泳がせてもらえると知って、楽しみにしていただけにちょっとショックでした。
イルカの体調も勿論でしょうが、他に何か都合でもあるのでしょうか。回によって違うイルカなのでしょうか？
最後の回は時間に余裕がある為に可能なのかとも思ってみたのですが、同じ日で、しかもたった１時間違いで差があるなんて・・・アクティビティ中は全く説明も無かっただけに、ちょっと納得いきませんでした。

また、アクティビティ終了後、着替える部屋が２つしかなく、順番を待ったり、トイレ（遠い）に行っているうちにすぐ次の回が始まったせいか、ＤＶＤや写真のサンプルを見せてもらおうにも係員の方が一人も居なくなってしまいました。

I participated alone for the first time. My group was all foreigners, and I was the only Japanese person! I joined while only understanding half of the explanations in English, but it was amazing to swim while holding onto the dolphin's fin! However, the pickup on the way back was tough because we had to wait for 4 hours.

初めて一人で参加しました。私のグループは外人ばかりで日本人は私一人！しかも説明は英語で半分判らないながら参加しましたが、イルカの背びれに捕まって泳げたのは最高でした～でも、帰りのピックアップは4時間も間があってつらかったです。

My wife can't swim, so she dislikes going into the sea. I wanted to show the kids the beautiful underwater world, so I signed up for a tour. We saw a very beautiful underwater world (though I was told it was murky at that time), coral reefs, colorful fish, big fish, and even sea turtles. The kids, and even my wife who dislikes the sea, were very happy. However, I felt a bit seasick.

私の奥さんは泳げないので、海に入るのはキライです。子供達にきれいな海の中を見せてあげたくて、ツアーに申し込みました。とてもきれいな海の中（私達のときはこれでも濁っているとの事）やサンゴ礁、カラフルな魚や大きな魚、そして海ガメまでも。子供達、そして海キライの奥さんまでもとても喜んでいました。でも、私はちょっと船酔いでした。

I had made several email inquiries to confirm the price in advance due to changes in the number of people and time for this reservation. However, on the day of the event, I was told that payment had to be made directly to the operating company, and when I went to pay, I was informed that the price was outdated and that the current calculation was different. I felt quite frustrated by that. Additionally, the phone communication with Atlantis Submarine and First Adventure Tours was very lengthy and quite irritating. In the end, it was decided that First Adventure Tours would cover the price difference, but paying at the local desk feels more reassuring.

Also, the meeting point was supposed to be the Aloha Center at the hotel, but there was no sign at all. It was very unsettling not to have been informed in advance about where to wait at this hotel.

As for the content, it felt like there were no coral reefs, and it was more about seeing fish that come to the artificial habitat. For those who can't dive, it might be okay to go and see. However, I felt like the red ticket side had more turtles and fish visible, but maybe that's just my imagination!

この予約には人数や時間の変更があったので事前に金額の確認をメールで何回もやっていたにもかかわらず、当日は催行会社に直接支払いとなっていたので行って支払い時点でそれは古い価格で今はこので計算すると違うと言われ何で~って感じでした。それからアトランティスサブマリンとﾌｧｰｽﾄｱﾄﾞﾍﾞﾝﾁｬｰﾂｱｰとの電話でのやり取りがとても長くてかなりイライラしまた。結局は差額はﾌｧｰｽﾄｱﾄﾞﾍﾞﾝﾁｬｰﾂｱｰが払う事にはなりましたが、現地ディスク支払いの方が安心ですね。それとホテルのアロハセンター集合となっていたのですが看板一つ無しで、これは前もってこのホテルはどこどこに待っていて下さい！
と教えて貰って無かったのはとても不安な材料でした。
　内容は珊瑚礁が無くて魚の人口家に寄ってくる魚を見るって感じだったので、ﾀﾞｲﾋﾞﾝｸﾞ出来ない人は見に行っても良いかな~。只、赤色と黄色の券で左右に分かれて乗るのですがどうも赤色の券の方ばかりにカメが出てきたり魚がたくさん見えていた気がするのは気のせいかな~！？

I was thrilled to touch the dolphins. The time went by so quickly. I wish I could have interacted with the dolphins more. We participated in the afternoon session starting at 3 PM. I wanted a photo with the dolphins, but I couldn't get one before the meeting time for our return, so I ended up not buying it. It seems that those who participated at 2:30 PM were able to buy their photos, but we, who joined at 3 PM, couldn't get the photos that others wanted as well. Since couples participating can't take pictures of themselves interacting with the dolphins from the outside, I think it would be better if they considered the time to buy photos when setting the return meeting time. I really hope they can do something about this.

イルカに触れてみて感激しました。少しの時間であっという間でした。
もっとイルカと触れ合ったりしたかったな～
私達は午後の部での１５時からに参加しました。イルカと一緒にとった写真がほしかったのですが、帰りの集合時間までに出来てなく結局買えませんでした。14時３０からの人たちは写真を買えたみたいですが、私達１５時からの参加の写真は、ほかの人達も欲しかったのに買えずじまい…。カップルとかで参加した人達はイルカと触れ合ってる写真を外からとれない訳なんだしせめて写真を買える時間を考えて帰りの集合時間を設定していただければいいと思う。これに関してはちょっとどうにかしてほしいとおもった。

For our first optional tour in Hawaii, we chose the Atlantis Submarine. I was a bit anxious because I heard there can be days with poor visibility, but I think the conditions on the 17th were fantastic. The water was very clear, and there was no movement underwater at all. We were able to see manta rays, sea turtles, sharks, and many fish, which made the whole family very satisfied.

At tourist spots, there is always a group photo opportunity, so it would be nice if that could be optional. This activity had that as well. If you're fluent in English, you might be able to skip it. But in the end, I always end up buying the photo.

ハワイの最初のオプショナルツアーとしてアトランティス潜水艦を選びました。視界が悪い日もあるらしいので不安でしたが参加した17日は最高のコンディションだったのではないかと思います。透明度も高く海中では揺れも全然なく、マンタ、ウミガメ、サメや多くの魚を見ることができ、家族全員とっても満足しました。
観光地では必ずグループごとの記念撮影があるので、あれは取捨選択できるといいですね。このアクティビティでもありました。英語が堪能ならパスできるのかもしれないですね。結局、いつも買ってしまいます。

I participated in the deluxe session at 9 AM on August 19. I made a reservation on this page, and everything from purchasing tickets on-site at Hilton Hawaiian Village to disembarking was perfectly fine in Japanese. Perhaps because most participants were Japanese (about 90% Japanese), the staff member Ken provided a fun and fluent Japanese guide (with puns). However, unfortunately, I ended up getting seasick this time, and on the return ferry, I found myself battling nausea. I never thought I would get seasick, as I usually have no issues with motion sickness (I've never felt sick in cars, trains, buses, airplanes, or amusement park rides). But the approximately 15-minute ferry rides each way, along with about 10 minutes of waiting to board the submarine and the subtle floating sensation inside the submarine, ultimately made me give up. Of course, the unique rocking of the boat likely played a role, but I believe the real reasons were lack of sleep from arriving the day before and having eaten too much breakfast just before participating... I would like to add a word of advice for those who will participate: "Make sure to manage your health!"

8月19日午前9時の回のデラックスに参加しました。このページで予約をして参加しましたが、ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジにある現地でのチケット購入から下船するまで全て日本語でOKです。潜水艦内部でも参加者がほとんど日本人（日本人率約90％）だったせいか、スタッフのケン君？の流暢な日本語（だじゃれ付）の楽しい案内でした。しかし、今回は不覚にも船酔いをしてしまい、帰りの連絡船の中ではこみ上げる物との格闘になってしまったのでした。普段から乗物酔いとは無縁（車や電車バス、飛行機や遊園地のアトラクションでも酔った事は無かった）の自分がまさか船酔いするとは思ってもいませんでしたが、連絡船の行き帰りの約15分づつとそれぞれの潜水艦への乗船待ちの約10分、潜水艦の微妙な浮遊感でついにはギブアップ状態になってしまいました。もちろん船特有の揺れの影響はあるのでしょうが、本当の理由は前日到着での睡眠不足だったのと、参加直前に朝食を食べ過ぎていたのが原因と思われます･･･　
参加をされる方には、「体調管理は万全に？」と、ひと言付け加えさせていただきます。

The content itself was good, and the children were very happy. However, the hotel pickup location was slightly different from what was stated, and we almost missed the pickup bus. The instruction was to wait by the roadside, not at the hotel entrance, but the pickup bus went into the hotel driveway, making it difficult for us to find each other. In the end, when the bus gave up on our pickup and came out to the road, we spotted it and managed to catch up, but it could have turned into a trouble. (The hotel is Waikiki Beach Marriott.) Since pickups can easily lead to issues, I would like them to be more thorough.

内容そのものは良く、子供たちも大変喜んでいました。但し、ホテルピックアップの場所が言われていた場所と少し異なっていたため、あやうくピップアップのバスに乗り損ねる所でした。言われていたのは、ホテルの玄関ではなく、道路脇まで出て待っているようにとの指示でしたが、ピックアップのバスはホテルの車寄せに入ってしまい、お互い見つけられない状態でした。結局、バスが我々のピックアップにあきらめ、道路に出てきたときに、我々がバスを見つけて走って追い付いて事なきを得ましたが、トラブルになる所でした。（ホテルはワイキキ・ビーチ・マリオット）ピックアップはトラブルになりやすいので、徹底していただきたい。

The world at a depth of 30 meters was beyond imagination. It was an incredible 45 minutes exploring the reefs, a sunken airplane, and a ship. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from the boat was also fantastic.

深度３０ｍの世界は想像を絶していました。
漁礁、沈んだ飛行機、船を回りあっという間の４５分でした。
また、船上からみたダイヤモンドヘッド、ワイキキビーチの眺めも
最高です。

It was a pool unlike any I've experienced in Japan (at least not that I know of). The waves in the wave pool were so intense that children started crying. There was a pool for small children, thrilling slides, and a lazy river that felt like a jungle adventure, which made me very satisfied. The bonus of shaved ice was also surprising.

日本には無い（少なくとも経験したことの無い）プールでした。
波のプールの波のすごさは、子供が泣き出すほどでした。
小さい子供も遊べるプールあり、絶叫スライダーあり、ジャングル探検みたいな流水プール有り
で、大満足です。
おまけのシェービングアイスもびっくりでした。

I participated in a tour where I could touch dolphins for the first time, and I absolutely think everyone should go at least once. My wife was also very satisfied and said she was glad to join. I didn't expect to be able to touch dolphins for such a long time, and I never thought I would be able to swim while holding onto a dolphin's dorsal fin. If there's another opportunity, I definitely want to go again.

初めてイルカに触れられるツアーに参加しましたが、絶対一度は行くべきです。奥さんも大満足で参加して良かったと言っています。こんなに長い時間イルカに触れられるとは思っていませんでしたし、イルカの背鰭につかまって泳げるとは思ってもいませんでした。次の機会があれば是非もう一度行って見たいです。

Moving forward, we will strengthen our coordination with the operating company to ensure that we can reliably send customers to their activities, and we will also improve our internal communication.

On the day of departure, I was late to the meeting point because I mistakenly went to the wrong hotel pickup location (due to insufficient explanation from the tour desk staff). I searched for the guide myself, handed over the voucher, and waited for departure, but without any explanation, I was left behind by the bus. When I called the tour desk to explain the situation, they said they had waited but left because I didn't show up. They said I couldn't change anything for the next day, so I had no choice but to rush in a taxi and barely made it. I tried to negotiate to get reimbursed for the $41 taxi fare, but they said they would consult with their supervisor and get back to me, and I haven't heard anything since. I returned home in tears. It's been six days, and I still haven't received any contact or apology, which is very frustrating. I ran out of money and had to give up on lunch and photos. The dolphin training experience tour itself was fine (though it felt a bit overpriced), but I was so upset and exhausted by this situation that I couldn't enjoy it at all. I traveled all the way to Hawaii during a peak pricing period just for this tour... I never want to go again. I wouldn't mind if this post were deleted, but I would appreciate it if you could convey that the local desk should apologize and contact me.

出発当日、ホテルの送迎出発場所を間違えたため（ツアーデスク係員の説明不足）、集合場所に遅れました。ガイドを自分で探し、バウチャーを渡して出発を待っていたら何の説明も無く、バスにおいていかれました。ツアーデスクに電話し状況を説明すると、待っていたが現れなかったので出発したとのこと。翌日に変更はできないと言うので、仕方なくタクシーで急いでもらい何とか間に合いました。タクシー代４１ドルを払ってもらおうと交渉しましたが、上司に相談して連絡すると言ったきり何の連絡もなし。泣く泣く帰国してきました。６日経ちますが未だに連絡・謝罪一切なしで納得がいきません。持ち合わせのお金も無くなり、昼食・写真もあきらめたというのに。イルカ調教体験ツアー自体は問題ありませんでしたが、（少し内容に対して高いような気がしますが）、このことで頭に来たり疲れたりで全く楽しめませんでした。このツアーに行くために料金の高い時期にハワイまで言ったのに．．．２度と行きたくないです。この書き込みを削除してもらっても結構ですが、現地のデスクに謝罪・連絡するように伝えてもらえたらうれしく思います。

Our family had two children, aged 17 and 14, participate. Since it was required for parents to accompany children under 18, my husband and I attended as photographers and chaperones.

At the check-in counter, we were given documents and asked to sign after confirming the details. We received the documents in English, but it seemed there was also a Japanese version available.

On the day of the event, participants were divided into Japanese and English groups, and we first received important information. Then, we had the opportunity to touch the dolphins and play with them by giving commands like jumping. At this point, the Japanese group was further split into two, so it ended up being one instructor and one dolphin for every four participants, allowing for a very close interaction with the dolphins. However, the instructors spoke very little Japanese, so our children, who spoke English, ended up translating for the other participants.

After that, we got to swim with the dolphins. The dolphins were much stronger and faster than we expected, pulling us along quickly, so the photographers needed to be quick on their feet!

The instructors were very friendly and explained everything thoroughly, and the program itself provided a truly wonderful experience. We were glad to participate.

You can choose and purchase photos and DVDs according to your preference. If you only want photos, they are ready in about 5 to 10 minutes after the activity, but if you order a DVD, it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. We spent that time having lunch, so it went by quickly.

Participants in this program receive a 10% discount on meals, so it's best to keep the wristband you receive until you leave Sea Life Park.

我が家は17歳と14歳の子供が二人参加しました。18歳以下の子供が参加する時は親が見学して付き添うようにとの事でしたので、主人と私はカメラマン件付添い人として見学をしました。
チェックインカウンターでは書類を渡され、了解事項を確認後サインを求められます。
我が家は英語の書類でしたが、日本語版もあったようです。

当日の参加者は日本語のグループと英語のグループに分けられ、まず最初に注意事項などを受けます。次に実際にイルカに触れたり、ジャンプなどの指示をしてイルカと遊べます。この時に更に日本語グループ内で2つに分かれましたので実際には4人に対して一人のインストラクター&一匹のイルカという感じになり、とても身近にイルカに触れる事ができたようです。
ただこの時のインストラクターの方達は日本語が本当にカタコトしか喋れなく、英語を話す我が家の子供達が他の参加者の方に通訳をして説明していました。

その後に、イルカと実際に泳ぐ事ができます。
イルカは予想よりも遥かに力強く、素早いスピードで人間を引っ張って行きますので、カメラマンの方は素早い動きが必要ですよ(笑)

インストラクターの方はとてもフレンドリーに丁寧に説明していましたし、プログラム事態もとても素晴らしい体験ができ、参加できて良かったです。

写真とDVDを自分の好みで選んで購入する事ができます。
写真だけならアクティビティ参加後、5～10分で出来上がりますが、DVDを頼むと1時間～1時間半、仕上げにかかると言われましたが、その間、ランチをして過ごしていましたのであっと言う間でした。

このプログラムに参加した方は、食事が10%OFFで食べれますので、参加した時に腕につけて貰うバンドは、シーライフパークを出るまではずさない方がいいですよ。

We gathered at the Sheraton Bus Terminal at 9:00, but even by 9:30, no one had come to guide us. After speaking with the HIS staff, we took a different bus to the destination. We were over an hour late, and the return meeting time was too early, leaving us unsatisfied. The people on the same bus were also very upset.

9時にシェラトンバスターミナル集合で9時半になっても誰も案内がこなくHISスタッフの人に話してもらって違うバスにて現地へ　1時間以上も到着が遅れているのに　帰りの集合時間が早すぎて物足りない。同じバスの人たちもカンカンでした。

It's quite a show. However, the pirate show might be a bit boring if you don't understand English. But you might be able to understand it somewhat? You should definitely go at least once. The nearby sea was really beautiful.

なかなかのショーを見せてくれますよ。でも、海賊のショーは英語が分からないとちょっとつまらないかも。でも何となく理解できるかな？　一度は行ってみた方がいいよ。近くの海が、凄く綺麗でした

I think this is a tour where anyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy playing with two dolphins. On the day of the tour, I rented a car, so I signed up without a pickup service. It took about 40 minutes to get from Ilikai (my accommodation) to Sea Life Park by car. (The parking lot is usually empty in the morning, but it gets quite crowded during the day.)

Since I had a reservation for the earliest time slot, the roads were relatively clear in the morning. Looking back, I definitely recommend the early morning. The sunlight isn't too harsh, and the surrounding scenery is fantastic. (You can enjoy the drive too!)

The tour included two instructors for the two dolphins who provided explanations (I received explanations from staff who understood Japanese). After that, we entered the pool with the dolphins, where we could interact with them (we were able to touch them) and swim while riding on the dolphins. We also had fun signaling for them to jump and do various activities. It lasted about an hour.

At the end, they even said goodbye properly. After the tour, there was a sale of photos and DVDs (featuring us), and I couldn't help but buy them. I highly recommend participating at least once!

2頭のイルカさんと一緒にたわむれて遊ぶことができる、年齢、性別を問わずに誰もが
楽しめるツア−だと思います。ツア−当日は、レンタカ−を借りていたので、送迎なしで申し込みました。車ですと、イリカイ（宿泊地）からシ−ライフパ−クまでおよそ40分くらいで着きました。（駐車場は朝一番は空いてます。昼は結構混みます。）
時間が朝一番の開始時間での予約でしたので、朝の出発で道も比較的に空いていました。今思うと朝一番はお勧めです。日差しもそんなにきつくないし、まわりの景色が最高だからです。（ドライブも楽しめますよ！）
内容は、2頭のイルカに２人のインストラクタ−がついて内容の説明があり、（日本語の
わかるスタッフから説明をうけました。）そのあと、イルカといっしょにプ−ルにはいって、スキンシップ（さわったりできました。）とイルカに乗って泳いだり、自分たちツア−参加者による合図で、ジャンプしたり、いろいろと楽しめました。約1時間です。
最後は、ちゃんとさよならの挨拶までしてくれました。
終了後、写真とDVDの販売もあって（自分たちの写っている写真とビデオです。）
思わず買っちゃいました。ぜひ、一度ご参加あれ！

I had a wonderful experience being able to see the underwater world in Hawaii. The sightseeing boat ride to the submarine was also enjoyable. It was a tour that was fun in two ways at once. I would like to participate again when I visit Hawaii.

ハワイの海の中を見られるなんてすばらしい体験が出来ました。
潜水艦へ向かうまでの観覧船も楽しめました。
１度で２度楽しいツアーです。
又ハワイを訪れたときは参加したいです。

At first, I thought playing in the pool in Hawaii would be... but I was surprised by how fun it was to experience various attractions. I initially thought the ocean was scary for children because of the waves, but I realized it’s actually a place where adults can have fun too.

For small children, there are attractions designed for them, and there are plenty of attractions for adults to enjoy as well. The "shaka," which you wouldn't think of in Japan, is definitely something you should try.

This time, since I participated in a tour on Sunday, there were many local families visiting, and we had to wait in line for every attraction, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Also, since there was only one food stall, there was a long line during lunchtime, so I think it would be better to have lunch a bit earlier.

I received a free voucher for "shave ice" as part of the tour from the guidebook, but due to the long lines, I ran out of time to exchange it. Seeing other people's "shave ice," I regret not exchanging it earlier to enjoy it.

最初は、ハワイでプールで遊ぶのは・・・と思っていましたが、実際にいろいろなアトラクションを体験してみると面白いのにはビックリです。海では波があって怖がる子供たちのためにあるのかと思っていましたが、むしろ大人が楽しめるところであると実感しました。
小さな子供には、子供が楽しめるアトラクションも用意されていますし、大人が楽しめるアトラクションも豊富にあります。
日本では発想がでないであろう「シャカ」は是非トライをするべきです。
今回は、日曜日にツアー参加のため、現地の家族連れがたくさん来園しており、どのアトラクションも並ばないといけいため、若干物足りなさが残りましたし、売店が一箇所しかないためにお昼時には長蛇の列で、少し早めに昼食をするようにしたほうが良いかと思います。
地球の歩き方でのツアー参加で「シェイブ・アイス」の無料引換券をもらいましたが、長蛇の列のおかげで交換する時間が無くなってしまいましたが、他の人の「シェイブ・アイス」をみると早めの交換で食べておけば良かったと反省をしています。

I was able to finally touch a dolphin, and it was the best experience. To see the dolphins swimming underwater, you have to swim to the boat, hold onto it, and dive in by yourself. It's not difficult at all, but for those who are not good at swimming, it might be tough.

Inside the park, I was able to leisurely see various animals and enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in a nice view.

The sea lion and dolphin shows were fun, and the weather was great, creating wonderful memories. Since only visitors can take photos, you have to buy a photo taken for $20. Don't forget to bring money for the photos.

Afterward, there is a place to change, so it's a good idea to bring a change of clothes for peace of mind.

念願のイルカちゃんにさわる事ができて、最高の体験でした。
水中でイルカの泳ぐ姿を見るために船まで泳いでいって、船につかまり自力でもぐったりしなければいけません。
全く難しくありませんが、泳ぎが全くだめな人は辛いかもしれません。

パークの中でもゆっくりいろんな動物が見れて、おいしいお昼もいい景色を眺めながら
食べることができました。

アシカ、イルカのショーも楽しかったし、天気もよくて素敵な思い出が作れました。
写真は見学者の人しか取ることができないので、撮ってもらうのを一枚＄２０で買うしかありません。
写真代をもっていくのをお忘れなく。

終わったら着替えられるところがあるので、着替えを持っていくと安心です。

I participated in the deluxe option. We gathered at the Hilton's pier, and since I was staying at the Hilton, it was easy to meet up.

At the pier, they took a commemorative photo for us. There were a lot of long, slender fish gathered around the pier, and it was a bit amusing that we could feed them freely.

We took a boat to the submarine, which took about 15 minutes, but it rocked quite a bit, so I think it's essential for those who are prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication.

Once we reached the offshore area, the deluxe guests boarded the submarine first. I wonder if the standard guests had to wait during that time? The submarine was quite large. Maybe that's because it was the deluxe option?

Now, about the underwater experience... hmm?? I couldn't see anything... (^_^;) It was murky, and I could hardly see anything. They explained things in Japanese with great effort, but it was still hard to see. We passed right by an artificial coral reef, and at that moment, we could see a few fish, but other than that, there was absolutely nothing to see.

I had imagined that fish would constantly appear from all directions, so I was a bit shocked by the gap between my expectations and reality. (Maybe my experience at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia was just too good.)

I'm not sure if the water's clarity varies by day. There wasn't any specific explanation about that. However, in terms of the unique experience of boarding a submarine and traveling to depths of several dozen meters, it was wonderful.

I didn't receive the deluxe benefit log report. I wonder if they really give it out??

デラックスで参加しました。
ヒルトンの桟橋に集合で、ちょうどヒルトンに泊まっていたので集合が楽でした。

桟橋では記念撮影を取ってくれます。桟橋のまわりに細長い魚がいっぱい集まっていて
好きに餌をやっていい状態でちょっと面白かったです。

沖の潜水艦までは船に乗っていきました。時間は１５分ぐらいですが結構ゆれるので
酔いやすいかたは酔い止め必須と思われます。

沖につくと、デラックスの人から潜水艦に乗り込みます。スタンダードの人はその間待たされるのかな？
潜水艦は結構大きかったです。デラックスだからかな？

本題の海の中ですが・・・・・　ん？？見えない・・・・(^_^;)
濁っていてほとんど見えませんでした。日本語で一生懸命説明してくれるのですが、なかなか見えません。
人工珊瑚礁のすぐ近くを通ってくれるのでそのときはちらほらお魚が見れますが、それ以外はまったくなにも見えません。

常に魚が絶える事なく登場して、あっちからこれが、こっちからこれが・・っていうのを想像していたので
あまりのギャップに、ちとショックでした。（オーストラリアのグレートバリアリーフでの経験が良すぎたのかもしれません）

日によって海の透明度が違うのかわかりません。特にそういった説明はなかったので。
ただ、普段体験することができない潜水艦にのりこんで水深何十メートルを行く旅という意味では素敵でした。

デラックス特典のログレポート？はもらえませんでした。本当にくれるのかなー？？

The only place I know where you can interact with dolphins is in Okinawa. When I went previously, I found out that same-day reservations were the only option, and despite my efforts, the reservations were full, so I couldn't meet the dolphins. This time, I was finally able to meet the dolphins! I was really looking forward to it. There were Japanese staff members present, and we were divided into groups of foreigners and Japanese for explanations and experiences. I learned a lot about dolphins, and they even let us touch their teeth (under the guidance of the staff). The dolphins listened well to the instructions! They were really, really cute. My daughter is six years old, and she was able to experience it very comfortably, thanks to the Japanese staff members. I believe that as long as you can follow the instructions properly, you can have a safe experience. I want to go again!

イルカちゃんとふれあえる場所は　私の知っている限りでは沖縄しか無く、以前行った時には
当日予約しかないとの事で頑張っても　予約がいっぱいでイルカと会うことは出来ませんでした。
今回念願のイルカちゃんと会える！楽しみに楽しみにして行きました。日本人のスタッフもいらして
外国の方の班と日本人の班とで分かれて　説明や体験をしました。イルカのことがいろいろと詳しくなったし
イルカは（スタッフのお姉さんの指示で）歯にも触らせてくれて　言うこともチャンと聞いてくれました♪
本当に本当に可愛かった☆娘は6歳ですが　大変安心して体験が出来ました
これも　日本人スタッフのお姉さんたちのおかげです♪キチンと指示を聞ければ安全に体験が出来る無いようだと思います☆
また行きたいです♪

また、指示通り動いてくれるイルカが、とても可愛かったようです。

参加してすごく楽しかった！と、子供たちも大喜びでした。

I was thrilled to see and touch dolphins up close. In the deeper pool, I was able to swim while holding onto their dorsal fins, which was a precious experience. However, since I participated with my husband, we couldn't take pictures with the dolphins ourselves, so we purchased the ones that were taken for us. We had two different poses taken for each of us, but buying both for both of us turned out to be quite expensive, so we decided not to buy the one of us swimming. I wish they could consider having a photo where both of us are together with the dolphins. There were eight other participants, but it seemed that no one else purchased photos either. Still, I'm glad I participated, as such experiences are hard to come by.

すぐ近くでイルカを見て、触ることができて感激でした。
深めのプールでは背びれにつかまり泳ぐことができ、貴重な体験ができうれしかったです。
ただ主人と一緒に参加したのでイルカと一緒の写真を自分達では撮ることができなかったので、
撮影してもらったのを購入しました。一人ずつ２パターン撮影したのですが、両方を二人分買うとかなりの金額になってしまうので、泳いでるところの方は買いませんでした。
イルカと一緒の分は二人一緒に写してくれるとか、もう少しそのあたりを考えて欲しいと思いました。
私達以外に８人参加していましたが誰も写真を購入していなかったようです。
それでもこのような体験はなかなかできるものではないので参加してよかったです。

I chose this activity because it allows a 4-year-old child to participate and offers experiences that cannot be found in Japan! The participation criteria stated "4 years and older, height 100 cm?" However, after actually experiencing it, I felt that being able to follow the instructor's directions was more important than these conditions. This is because the activity involves interacting with delicate yet massive dolphins, and it is crucial to fully understand the potential dangers involved. Participants are required to sign a waiver stating that they will not hold anyone liable in case of an accident, but I believe most participants were in a "tourist mood." Even adults were so excited to touch the dolphins that they sometimes couldn't follow the instructor's directions, leading to awkward moments in the overall atmosphere. The instructors, while cheerful, were quite tense to ensure that no accidents occurred. Given this, it is essential to first learn about the dolphins' ecology and have a mindset ready to properly follow the instructor's guidance. If this can be achieved, I believe there is no more meaningful and valuable experience than this. By the way, participating in Splash U allows you to receive a graduation certificate from Dolphin School with your first name on it (for free), and they also offer photo sessions (which are quite expensive), giving it that typical tourist business feel.

The scenery on the way to Sea Life Park was absolutely wonderful. There was a beach along the way, and a small parking lot, so if you could stop for a few minutes, it would be appreciated.

４歳の子どもが参加可能で，かつ日本では体験できないようなことを！と考えて選んだアクティビティでした。
参加の基準が「４歳以上，身長１００？」とありましたが，実際に体験してみて，こうした条件以上に，指導員の指示に従えるかどうかが重要だと感じました。というのも，繊細かつ巨大なイルカが相手のアクティビティということは，身の危険を伴うことを十分理解する必要性を感じたからです。事故が生じても賠償責任を問わないとの署名をするのですが，それでもほとんどの参加者が「観光気分」だったと思います。あこがれのイルカに触れ合えることに大人でさえ「浮かれて」しまっており，指導員の指示に従えずに注意されて（もちろん，子どもを指導するどころではなく），全体の雰囲気が気まずくなることがありました。指導員はにこやかならがらも事故が起こらぬよう，かなりの緊張感を持ってあたっています。こうしたことを踏まえると，まずはイルカの生態知り，理解を深めようとする学びの姿勢，つまり指導員の指導をきちんと受けようとする心構えを十分に持つことが大切です。それができればこれほど有意義で貴重な体験はないと思いました。ちなみに，スプラッシュＵに参加するとファーストネームを入れてイルカ学校の卒業証書（無料）をくれたり，写真撮影（代金は結構高額）をしてくれるなど，観光にありがちなビジネスはビジネスという感じなのですが。

シーライフパークに行くまでの景色が最高に素敵でした。途中，ビーチがあり，こぢんまりとした駐車場もあったので，数分停車できれば喜ばれるかも。

This was my first trip to Hawaii, so I decided to splurge and booked a Cessna sightseeing flight to take a look at Oahu from the sky. I was able to see places I couldn't visit due to time constraints, and the ocean was truly beautiful and breathtaking. However, if you focus too much on taking pictures and look down, you might feel a bit nauseous, so I recommend that participants manage their health well the day before. Lack of sleep is something to watch out for. But looking back at the photos, they turned out beautifully, and it was quite a good experience. Next time, I want to fly at night! Daytime is great, but I've heard nighttime is also wonderful.

今回は初ハワイと言う事で、先ずオアフを空から眺めてみようと奮発してセスナ遊覧飛行を申込みました。時間が無くて足を運べない所も上空から見る事が出来たし、海は本当にキレイで感激ものでした。ただ、あまり写真をとろうと下ばかり見ていると気持ちが悪くなってしまうので、参加される方は前日から体調管理はしっかりしておいた方が良いと思います。睡眠不足は要注意。でも後から写真を見てもきれいにとれていたし、なかなか良い経験でした。次は夜の空を飛んでみたいです！日中も良いし、夜もまた良いらしいですよ。

My daughter insisted, so I participated. Personally, I thought, "A pool in Hawaii? The beautiful blue ocean is waiting for us..." But surprisingly, I had a great time! The wave pool had real waves, and the various slides were very satisfying. The kids' pool was also impressive!

Regarding the shave ice gift, I earnestly explained the situation to the boy who came to pick us up, but he kept saying, "I don't understand." He asked various people after we got off the bus, but still couldn't find out. I appreciated his earnest attitude, so in the end, I felt like saying, "Oh well." However, since it was advertised as a "gift," I really wanted it. That was a bit disappointing.

By the way, on the bus ride there, the topic of tour prices came up (90% of the bus was Japanese), and the man next to me was upset, saying, "I'm paying $8 more for the same tour!" (laughs) It's interesting how prices can vary for the same content. I happened to apply through this site because ALAN's Japan office is right next to the supermarket I always go to, located behind my daughter's cram school. As someone who was a bit unfamiliar with just communicating through the website, I thought, "It might be reassuring to have a nearby office in case something happens," which was a strange reason for choosing this site. Fortunately, nothing happened, and I returned home safely.

By the way, I passed by this morning, and due to the unusual heat in Tokyo, a cat was sprawled out at the entrance of the building, looking exhausted.

娘がどうしてもと言うので参加しました。
私自身は「ハワイに来てまでプール？せっかく青い海が待っているのに・・・」
と思いましたが、なかなかどうして！心から楽しめました。
プールは波のプールも本格的な波だし、各種スライダーも大満足。子どもプールもあなどれませんよ！
シｪーブアイスプレゼントの件はピックアップに来た係りの男の子に一生懸命説明したのですが
「僕には分かりません」の一点張りでバスを降りてからもいろいろな人に聞いて回ってくれましたがやはり分からず。
彼の一生懸命な態度に好感が持てたので最後には「まっいいか」と言う気分になりましたが、
“プレゼント！”とうたっているからには欲しかったなぁ~。チョッとそれが残念。

ところで行きのバスの中でツアー価格の話になり（バスの中は９割日本人）隣のおじさんが同じツアー内容で
「俺のほうが８ドルも高い！」と憤慨してました（笑）同じ内容でも色々なんですね~。
私がこのサイトから申し込んだのは偶然にもALANさんの日本オフィスが超御近所でいつも行くスーパーのお隣。
娘の塾の裏と言うローケーション。サイト上だけのやり取りで少々慣れない私は立派なオフィスを見上げながら
「なんかあった時近所なら心強いかも」という変な理由でこのサイトから申し込みました。
別に“なんかあった”訳もなく無事に帰国しましたが・・・。
ちなみに今朝も通りかかりましたが、この東京の異常な暑さでビルの入り口で猫がグッタリしてました。

I participated in two courses: the training experience and the adventure. Since there are quite a few overlaps, it seems you don't really need to join the training course. Participating in both courses would cost nearly 20,000 yen, so I think just the adventure would be enough to feel satisfied. I thought I would be able to swim with dolphins, but it seems that is not currently available (perhaps due to the dolphins' health?). It's something you can't do often in Japan, so I was fairly satisfied.

調教体験とアドベンチャー２つのコースに参加しました。かなりだぶるところがあるので調教のコースには参加しなくてもいいみたいです。２つのコースに参加するとコストが２０，０００円近くになってしまうのでアドベンチャーだけで十分満足できるのではないかな・・・イルカと一緒に泳げると思っていましたが今はやっていないようです。（イルカの健康状態が悪かったのかも？）日本ではなかなかできないのでまあまあ満足しました。

I think this is a very good tour for those swimming with dolphins for the first time. The staff took some photos for us, but unfortunately, they weren't very good, so I didn't buy any. There were many people who were just watching and taking lots of photos, so I recommend that participants have their companions take pictures for them. It was a truly great experience to observe the dolphins up close. It would have been even better if we could have interacted with them a little longer.

初めてイルカと泳ぐ方にはとても良いツアーだと思いました。
一応係りの方が写真を撮って下さいましたが、あまり上手に出来ていなかったので､残念ながら私は買いませんでした。
ツアーに参加しないで付き添いで見ている人が写真を沢山とっていたので、参加される方は是非付き添いの方に写真を撮ってもらう方が良いと思いますよ。
イルカをまじかで観察する事が出来、本当によい経験になりました。
もう少し長く、ふれあえたらもっと良かったです。

This is a tour that you can't experience anywhere else in Japan, so I recommend it for those with children who love dolphins. The park isn't very large and was quite empty, allowing us to enjoy it leisurely. The bus ride takes you past famous spots like Hanauma Bay, Blowhole Rock, and Sandy Beach, giving you a bit of a sightseeing experience as well. However, during the tour, photos are taken, and the price is $30 each. For two children, $60 for photos feels a bit expensive, and only about 10% of the participants purchased them. I thought it would be better if they lowered the price so that more people would buy them. The dolphin show was rhythmic and enjoyable with the music.

なんと言っても日本では体験できないツアーなのでイルカ好きな子供をお持ちの
方にはお勧めです。園内はあまり広くなく空いていたのでのんびり楽しめました。
バスでの道中はハナウマベイや潮噴き岩、サンデービーチなど名所を通るのでプチ観光気分
も味わえます。
ただ、ツアー中に写真をとられその料金が一枚３０ドル。二人の子供で６０ドルの写真は
少したかく、参加者の一割の人しか購入していませんでした。
もう少し安くしてみんなに買ってもらえば良いのにと思いました。
イルカのショウはリズミカルで音楽にのって楽しめました。
