I participated with my 7-year-old daughter Ponyo and my dolphin mom. It was really fun. It's not every day that you get to touch dolphins, right? Anyway, this tour is a must for dolphin lovers. It's totally fine even if you have small children!
I also joined a tour to swim with wild dolphins, and both experiences were great. Of course, you can't touch the wild dolphins...
I chose a tour without pick-up service, but you can get here by bus or trolley. It was nice because we could stop by along the way without any worries.
During this tour, the dolphin family also hiked to Makapu'u Point as a bonus.

My husband and I took the sunset dinner cruise to celebrate our two-year wedding anniversary. It was fantastic! For those who worry about getting sea-sick, the boat right was very smooth and enjoyable, I did not have any problems. The food was delicious and the entertainment was great. I had never snorkeled before and they really walked you through everything. Got to see lots of neat fish, no dolphins however. We did see several turtles. Weather was a bit spotty and we were in some pretty good size swells. I don't know that I would recommend this for smaller children. They have spotters in the water, but it is open ocean and alot can happen,

There were no areas with sand, but I was really able to relax♪ The weather was nice, but when a few clouds came out and the wind blew, it got a bit cold, and it was quite chilly during snorkeling...! Regardless of what Island you may stay at it is very easy to Island hop.
It was nice to be greeted by a smiling face and fresh lei's after a 12 hour flight. Our greeter was very nice and took us to the baggage claim. However, we had another group that did not receive their greeting (not sure what company they booked it through) and they were disappointed.
This was a wonderful greeting for our sisters vacation to Kauai. Our greeter Leilani was wonderful. She met us at our gate in Honolulu with a cheery Aloha greeting and beautiful flower leis. She showed us the garden area and took pictures for us. She also escorted us to our connecting flight. This gave us a great start to a terrific Hawaiian vacation.

The onboard whale expert was very knowlegable and even though my daughter peppered her with questions throughout the tour, she was very attentive and answered each one throughly.
I do wish that there was a bit more outside deck space since it was rather limited, but there was plenty of space indoors, and there were quite a few windows as well.

I surprised my husband's first visit to Hawaii with a lei greeting . . . how can you go and not have a lei greeting anyway? They were right there when we arrived, escorted us to baggage claim and then contacted and escorted us to our shuttle which we had not expected. The explorer's tour is worth the extra money. Instead of just wandering around on a few decks you get a personally guided tour of about 4 secluded decks including one of the BIG 16 inch gun turrets. Very interesting to see how a battleship works.
We took the Sunset Dinner Cruise, had a great time and met some very nice people on the cruise. The sights were GREAT, the food was good the entertainment was good.
No pitching, No rolling, the cruise was very comfy.
The Hawaiian setting sun was so beautiful.
